I used to be a regular here: not anymore. Like the rest of the reviews, Andy the owner, is SO RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. Absolutely disgusting how these employees treat their customers. Their nail polish is old & they always have to add acetone to the polish (there's many complaints on this issue). You can find other nail salons close by that has better pricing & way better service. Yes, this place is nice on the inside but the people who work here aren't. Andy talks poorly about everyone. (Not knowing that some of the customers understand what their saying). The things I heard today from the owners mouth was very unprofessional & made me very uncomfortable. I typically am happy with my nails when I leave, but not today. Every time I come here the service gets worst & worst. My nails are NOT what I asked for and the color is NOT what it looks like on their nail book. After today, I will not be coming back to this place. If I can give this place 0 stars I would... But it made me choose atleast 1 star. Shame on you Nails by Andy, you're cut off. DON'T COME HERE. There are way better nail salons within a mile radius of this place. Save your money, time, & save yourself from getting spoken poorly about. Why is this place still even open? So sad. UPDATE: The next day my toenail polish chipped on pretty much every nail. As I mentioned before, their nail polish is old and dried out. So frustrating! This was the first time at Nails By Andy. I chose this salon due to the review on Yelp. I loved the experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming. Tammy did my nails and she was caring, attentive to details and very professional. She listened to what I wanted and also made recommendations. My nails turned out nice (natural tone, with golden tips, and shiny stones for a final touch). I also observed other customers having mani/pedi done. They seemed to enjoy their experience. One of the people getting a pedicure also got a massage on her shoulders/upper back. I thought that was nice. Prices are reasonable. read more

I have been coming to this salon for about the last 3 years plus. I generally have good things to say about this place, but as of late, the service has declined incredibly. I went to Andy and addressed the fact that my toes and my fingernails did not match, from what was supposed to be the correct match to my color of dip. He just blamed it on the company and just said I could go pick another one off the wall. No ownership whatsoever for the mistake. I don't appreciate being treated that way. He tends to be too arrogant anyway. Time to find a new salon. You pay good money you should get good service. I don't feel like I'm the customer there I feel like I'm more of an inconvenience when something goes wrong that is not my fault. read more

Beautiful work! I asked for the $28 pedicure. They do try to up-sell you during your service but my lady was sweet, polite and didn't push. She even gave me a shoulder massage at the end. I was expecting a charge for that and tried to say no but she did my shoulders anyway and the bill only reflected my pedicure. So I tipped her almost 40%. read more

Massage was relaxing! Got the $40 pedi and mani, no paint (I hate maintaining it). She was a little too rough... cut my toe (see photo) and then kept putting alcohol and her hands on it making it burn several times. I asked her to use the scraper thing on my outer small toes because I have callouses there and she felt it and said no, calluses are on the bottom of the feet. The simple cuticle job on my fingernails was very fast and not thorough (see pics). Won't be back. read more

I received a gift card and went to redeem my gift card and they stated it's over a year old it's no longer valid. Nails by Andys is dishonest company. I stated you have your money and No where on the gift card did it state it's only valid 1 year. You can't leave a tip on your card anymore they said cash only for tips. They said if you don't have cash you can use there ATM, which I saw the owner fill the ATM and they charge you $2.00. So cash only for the tips. After I got a pedicure I saw the girl put the wooden tool she used on my feet back in her cart and take the other tools in the back. The pedicure was nothing to talk about. Never will I go back and I will tell my friends and family. It's sad because I have been going there for years even before the salon expanded there business. read more

I have gone to this nail place plenty of times. Each & every time I go the customer service is TERRIBLE. The whole staff is rude, give you attitude if you have any special request because you notice the nail work is SLOPPY. And if you do ask for a special request they'll do it but talk abt u in their language which you will know because they'll point at your toes & talk shit & laugh. The last time I went in for a pedicure & full set, the full set & pedicure I got was done SO sloppy & FAST even though it was a weekday & the middle of the day with there being almost no one in there. I thought to give them one more chance & call ahead of time today to request an appt for TODAY at 3:50 for a pedicure & fill. The guy answered & asked what I needed & said "ok we see u then" I asked "do u need my name" he said " no we see u then" I said ok & I show up. When I show up I was not greeted which is normal for every-time because they are rude. I got my nails done just one week ago - gel manicure. After 3-4 days I could tell they were lifting and would get stuck in my hair when I would wash it. Now 8 days later they are literally peeling off. These should last at least 3 weeks and after having my nails done elsewhere I would literally have to sit for hours trying to get them off. When I have "nails" I come here for my nail work. All of the employees are nice-very talented and friendly. While Monica is the main nail "artist" there is a newer employee who also does nail art-over and above the regular gels or polish. Both are quite talented (although I have to admit, I'm more familiar with Monica's work-and it's fantastic!) They have a very clean shop, Andy is super nice and professional. They are always willing to fix one of my claws when I make a mess of something. Prices are great as well for manis, pedis and waxing. I find it to be a neighborhood gem! read more

The staff does a very good job at listening to what you want and making sure you like what you are getting. I made the mistake of not looking at the pricing for acrylics so I was thrown off when they told me it was $43. Back home in California I only paid $30 for acrylics (with gel). While the price for the acrylics was crippling as a college student, the regular pedicures are priced well at $20, with a massage included! The salon was very clean and tranquil. I've been coming here for pedicures for while now, and never experienced a problem. They are clean, professional, and do a thorough job of scrubbing away the callouses on my yeti feet. Andy can be pretty funny if you mess with him, but they don't try to force conversation. I like that I can just sit back in the massage chair and watch some Storage Wars (it's somehow always on!) or play games on my phone while I wait for the transformation to my new, soft, baby feet. read more

I went to Nails by Andy for my first manicure in many years. A coworker always has beautiful nails and I found it was time to treat myself. I made an appointment which was a good idea because the place is busy. Upon arrival I was given a basket with nail polish samples and was told to pick my color. After a small but tolerable wait my friend and I were led to our manicure table. Monica did a great job of multitasking between myself and my friend until her coworker could come and finish the polish on my friend. I did a fun St. Patricks themed Green polish with a gold accent nail with Gel polish and they look great. I love that the Gel polish was almost immediately dry when the manicure was over. The pricing was very affordable as well. $25 for manicure and $15 for a polish change on a gel manicure. I plan to go back and test out the pedicure as well. read more

As a walk-in I was seated immediately (which rarely happens) I suggest you go early in the day. By 11AM the salon was already getting full, by 11:30AM it's busy busy! I've been going to this place for the past couple months but I stopped going because I just had a baby but I went back to get my nails done and I had taken my sister along with me to get them done. We felt comfortable with the way we were greeted, I got my toes done which came out perfectly. However it wasn't until we both got our nails done by the same person which both of our nails came out horrible they were really thick and not what we wanted at all. My sister asked for them to be a medium-long length and tapered square but the lady didn't listen and did them short and completely uneven. I asked for the same thing medium-long tapered square when she finished both our sets we said it wasn't what we wanted at all and they were way too thick, she then proceeded to call us liars and said that's what we wanted and asked for. The manager was not in the salon so when I went up front I told the guy up front that it wasn't what we asked for and we wanted them fixed by someone else because she kept saying it was what we asked for, he then told us that she was going to fix them. We sat down to have her fix them and she didn't even do anything but fix the sides and put gel polish back on. I told them that still wasn't what we wanted and they told us there was nothing they could do but they didn't bother to file the nails down at all. They cut my sisters finger while doing her nails and just let her bleed, I got so fed up from them not listening I told them I didn't want to pay at all they then stated they would call the cops so I just paid and left I still ended up having to go to a different nail salon to even have my nails fixed. By far my worst experience and I'll never be going back. read more

I live down the street from this location and been here about 6 times but will not give them another try. I got my nails done with gel and the chip twice in a row within two days. I asked why is this happening with no answer they fixed it both times but just for my nails to chip within a day. I'm not going to keep wasting money for my nails to look bad within a few days. I work in sales can't imagine washing my dishes would cause an issue 1-2 day after getting a gel manicure. read more

Went to this place today as a walk in and I totally loved it. The place is very clean and everyone is really friendly. I got a pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails. My pedi was awesome she gave me a spa pedicure so I got a massage that was at least 15 minutes long both on my legs and my upper back and shoulders. Really nice French tip on my toes. My nails are really nice they totally got the shape I wanted and were able to give me a design based off the picture I showed them. Overall I'm super happy and would recommend this place. read more

I sat down to a regular of 10 years who raved about the salon. The manicurists really seem so happy to be there and are all laughing and smiling! My manicurist was so great, and gentle and kind! I broke a nail and I it bothers me when I see it. I work with computers so I see my hands a lot throughout the day. It's Memorial Day and this was the only place that was open. I only needed one finger fixed and re polished. I waited over an hour to be helped and than in the end I went home and I noticed it was off like completely. My nail was so much shorter than my other hand. I will not be going back, I understand it was busy but take you time and pay attention to detail! Also the polish was horrible it was all half fast! if I could give 0 stars I would. this was my first time here. my cousin brought me for my birthday. we told them exactly what we wanted and they sat us to wait. they took my cousin back within minutes.
