Just updating my review again to say that for a while I have been sold now on this location, specifically Tammy. I will never go to another nail technician. She's the best and literally the only person who does my nails that last! She pays attention to detail and is fast which typically doesn't go well together but she is skilled and knows what she is doing. This used to be be favorite nail place, David does the best pedi ever. But everytime I go, I make an appt but never get seen at that time and have to wait a long time anyways. So today I took my aunt and did not make an appt. When I got there I was turned away because someone had an appt at 11 already and we arrived 5 minutes before that. There was 1 single person being serviced in there and i was refused completely, not even offered if i wanted to wait or anything. Won't be returning and I found an even better salon. My friend and I decided we wanted to do a girls day pedicure and decided to go to Timmy's nails after seeing their positive reviews. We called and asked to get our names on their list but was told there wasn't a wait and that we could just come on in. We let them know we where 10 minutes away and would be right over. We came in and the shop looked nice but everyone inside seemed to be in the middle of a client. We were told to go pick a polish and sit down in the pedi chairs. We sat in the chairs for 30-40 minutes with no water in the tubs before someone came over and asked who wanted to go first. We had my friend go first and then 20 minutes later another worker finished with their client and came to do my pedicure. The pedicure itself was okay. It wasn't the best pedicure but it also wasn't the worst pedicure. The worker was very detailed when it came to trimming up my toenails and pushing back the cuticle but when it came to the polish it wasn't even. If it was just that I wouldn't be leaving this review. The day after my pedicure I noticed my left big toe was a little sore but wrote it off thinking it wasn't a big deal. It's been 3 days since my pedicure and my toe has contribute to hurt so I took a closer look at it and it was red, irritated and when I applied pressure to it a bunch of pus shot out. Plus (and this is minor) compared to the infection) my polish has already chipped which never usually happens with a pedicure. Everything else I can forgive and write off as it was a weekend and places get busy but I cannot forgive giving me an infected toe. My friend and I will definitely not be returning here. read more

Absolutely awful!!!!!! New ownership as of 5/17 apparently. I came here for a pedi based on the good reviews. The chairs are worn, the product must be too. The nail tech cut the side of my toe, I was bleeding for 2 days and it was so painful. I waited 2+ hours to put on shoes and all the polish smudged off. I called and they said come in the morning to fix it. I had my toes repainted, I waited 5+ hours to put on shoes and both my pinky toes got smudged off. Made an appt to come in and see Tammy for a pedicure. My appt was at 9am and was taken right away. I opted for the regular pedi. It included a massage and warm towel. It was very relaxing and did not feel rushed. The pricing is pretty decent at 20.00. Tammy has been my nail tech for over 5 years and has always taken pride in her work. I highly recommend you come see her in her new place. She is the new owner for Timmy's. You will not be disappointed. Tammy has been doing my nails for almost three years now. I found her (THANK GAWD!) when I moved to Goodyear and when I had to move to Mesa (57 miles ONE WAY mind you) I was beside myself! I didn't know what I was going to do! I decided that I was NOT GOING TO CHANCE IT ELSEWHERE! I have been driving back to Goodyear for a year now and not only is Tammy's work worth every penny of what she charges but worth every penny of the tip I leave! She's worth every mile I drive because of the customer service she provides too! It's just like having my best girlfriend doing my nails! I am so PROUD OF HER TOO because now she is the OWNER of Timmy's Nails (thank goodness that her husbands name is Timmy so she didn't have to change it)! She is so concerned about her customers satisfaction and their safety that she has decided to use single use nail files, pumice stones, and other supplies one time only as to ensure that no one picks up anything from anyone else! Went in yesterday to get a pedicure and to have my brows waxed. When doing my brows, they burned me and told me I had sensitive skin. I have never been burned before and I do not have sensitive skin. They are also very uneven. I told him in store and he said they looked fine. I had to go home and fix them.
