My daughter and I stopped in for a manicure and pedicure. This was our first visit and won't be our last. The staff was very nice. The woman who did my pedicure had excellent attention to detail in polishing my toes perfectly. The man my daughter had gave her a great manicure with designs. The place was very clean and I would definitely recommend them!

Just updating my review again to say that for a while I have been sold now on this location, specifically Tammy. I will never go to another nail technician. She's the best and literally the only person who does my nails that last! She pays attention to detail and is fast which typically doesn't go well together but she is skilled and knows what she is doing. I hate going to the nail salon and being there for an hour or more only to have nails that don't look amazing. Tammy is a dream come true! Highly recommend her!

My friend and I decided we wanted to do a girls day pedicure and decided to go to Timmy's nails after seeing their positive reviews. We called and asked to get our names on their list but was told there wasn't a wait and that we could just come on in. We let them know we where 10 minutes away and would be right over. We came in and the shop looked nice but everyone inside seemed to be in the middle of a client. We were told to go pick a polish and sit down in the pedi chairs. We sat in the chairs for 30-40 minutes with no water in the tubs before someone came over and asked who wanted to go first. We had my friend go first and then 20 minutes later another worker finished with their client and came to do my pedicure. The pedicure itself was okay. It wasn't the best pedicure but it also wasn't the worst pedicure. The worker was very detailed when it came to trimming up my toenails and pushing back the cuticle but when it came to the polish it wasn't even. If it was just that I wouldn't be leaving this review. The day after my pedicure I noticed my left big toe was a little sore but wrote it off thinking it wasn't a big deal. It's been 3 days since my pedicure and my toe has contribute to hurt so I took a closer look at it and it was red, irritated and when I applied pressure to it a bunch of pus shot out. Plus (and this is minor) compared to the infection) my polish has already chipped which never usually happens with a pedicure. Everything else I can forgive and write off as it was a weekend and places get busy but I cannot forgive giving me an infected toe. My friend and I will definitely not be returning here.

Tammy did a great job on my nails! My regular nail tech was out of town so i looked up timmy's nail salon on a whim and im so glad i did! Tammy is the new owner! Not only did she do a great job but she made my experience great too! She was so sweet! She had so many new colors available and more coming too! Overall 5 stars!

I looked at a lot of reviews because my girls wanted to get there nails done but didn't have a lot of money they are 12 and 13 yrs old.i found this place. They are affordable and have great customer service. Not only did they treat my girls good but also gave them advice in regards to maintain there nails. They close at 5 and didn't rush themout. We left at 520. Tammys nails thanks for wonderful experience for my girls.

I was a walk-in to Timmy's Nail salon two years ago and I have not found any one better. I was just there again today and the service is just superb. My mani-pedi is gorgeous and very, very well done. I strongly urge you to try Timmy's. It is a bit out of the way but you will not regret it!! read more

Love their pedicures! My daughter and I always make an appointment and have never had a problem. Comfortable chairs, relaxing leg massage, and long lasting pedicures keep us coming back. Prices are competitive and they give a discount for cash. Love Timmy's!! read more

This used to be be favorite nail place, David does the best pedi ever. But everytime I go, I make an appt but never get seen at that time and have to wait a long time anyways. So today I took my aunt and did not make an appt. When I got there I was turned away because someone had an appt at 11 already and we arrived 5 minutes before that. There was 1 single person being serviced in there and i was refused completely, not even offered if i wanted to wait or anything. Won't be returning and I found an even better salon. Before I moved down here I visited and needed my nails done. I read all the reviews and they were all right! This place is amazing! My mom even switched her nail Salon because she liked this place. Absolutely awful!!!!!! New ownership as of 5/17 apparently. I came here for a pedi based on the good reviews. The chairs are worn, the product must be too. The nail tech cut the side of my toe, I was bleeding for 2 days and it was so painful. I waited 2+ hours to put on shoes and all the polish smudged off. I called and they said come in the morning to fix it. I had my toes repainted, I waited 5+ hours to put on shoes and both my pinky toes got smudged off. I have never experienced such a low quality pedicure. read more

I wanted to wait to give a good review. It was hard to find this place off the back. I waited a little bit to start my nails the lady was nice and gentle with my nails. I just don't love the work they did especially for the price. 50$ for the matt top coat to chip in a couple of days. The nails weren't even filed that well so it looks funny up close. Over all the service was nice due to customer service being really good. I just wish my nails came out better. read more

First time I came here I got my eyebrows waxed & a full set. I usually break out when I get my eyebrows waxed, but they didn't break out after I got them done! My full set was cute & simple just how I like it! Also had my first dip powder for the first time & keep coming back to get them done. I hardly have to wait a long time, I've had basically all the nail techs & don't have 1 bad thing to say about any of them! Thank you all! read more

Love this place. I get ideas from pinterest. I showed them a summer look I wanted and they copied it. They didn't tell me no we xant do that like some places. They used my real nails. They took the ingrown nail off for me my big toe, feel great. They specailize in nail art. So if you want design, 3rd art, or diamonds they can do that. read more

Made an appt to come in and see Tammy for a pedicure. My appt was at 9am and was taken right away. I opted for the regular pedi. It included a massage and warm towel. It was very relaxing and did not feel rushed. The pricing is pretty decent at 20.00. Tammy has been my nail tech for over 5 years and has always taken pride in her work. I highly recommend you come see her in her new place. She is the new owner for Timmy's. You will not be disappointed. I always recommend everyone make an appt or call ahead as she is very busy. read more

Tammy has been doing my nails for almost three years now. I found her (THANK GAWD!) when I moved to Goodyear and when I had to move to Mesa (57 miles ONE WAY mind you) I was beside myself! I didn't know what I was going to do! I decided that I was NOT GOING TO CHANCE IT ELSEWHERE! I have been driving back to Goodyear for a year now and not only is Tammy's work worth every penny of what she charges but worth every penny of the tip I leave! She's worth every mile I drive because of the customer service she provides too! It's just like having my best girlfriend doing my nails! I am so PROUD OF HER TOO because now she is the OWNER of Timmy's Nails (thank goodness that her husbands name is Timmy so she didn't have to change it)! She is so concerned about her customers satisfaction and their safety that she has decided to use single use nail files, pumice stones, and other supplies one time only as to ensure that no one picks up anything from anyone else! So when I say that she and her shop are worth it... she's WORTH IT! Time, money, and miles! As long as she is in business I will be a customer! She even managed to make my ugly teradactle toes look cute! read more

Went in yesterday to get a pedicure and to have my brows waxed. When doing my brows, they burned me and told me I had sensitive skin. I have never been burned before and I do not have sensitive skin. They are also very uneven. I told him in store and he said they looked fine. I had to go home and fix them. I have family pictures today and it hurts to touch the burns, let alone put make-up on them. read more

Alright girls (and gents), just don't come to this place. Please take my word for it. I got the worst manicure yesterday. So bad that I barley noticed this morning I still had top coat from my PREVIOUS manicure, considering they didn't even do good enough to take that off. Are you fuc*king kidding me?! If you're even considering going here, please let ME charge you 12 to dip your hands in some cold water and act like I know wtf I'm doing cause that's what happened at this place. I walked out so disappointed and I told Timmy himself. Hello, I’m owned from Timmys Nails. I’ve been doing nails more than 15+ years Ca and Arizona. I moved from California to Arizona in 2019 and have been working the same place since. Now I have my own business located at 319 N Litchfield Rd #106, Goodyear AZ 85338. Feel free to check it out and I will do my best to service you. You said you want gold!" I asked to see the book so I could switch my design and lo and behold I found the gold sticker. I pointed it out and she scoffed and proceeded to use more pressure on my nails to the point it hurt. Despite all this I wanted to give it another shot because I loved her work and scheduled a fill. When she saw it was me she gave me a cold look and walked away. The receptionist then told me Stella is refusing service and another tech would assist me. I was paying ~$120 + tip each visit and to have this type of treatment and embarrass me was hurtful.

I arrived around 11:06, and when I walked in, I overheard one of the nail techs say that I was scheduled for 11:15, which was confusing because that was not the time I was given through text. I then sat and waited for about 30-40 minutes with absolutely no communication about the delay. I completely understand that salons get busy, and I would have been totally fine waiting 15-20 minutes if someone had simply communicated that to me. The frustrating part was being told I had an 11:00 appointment, then waiting 30-40 minutes for two broken nails to be fixed without anyone letting me know what was going on or how much longer it would be. I'm disappointed because I genuinely love this salon and have had great experiences here before. I just think communication could have made this situation much better. If you're running behind, please let your clients know instead of scheduling them for a time when they may end up waiting much longer. I had other plans today, and spending 40 minutes waiting without any explanation was frustrating.

Then after continuing to do my nails, she decided that it was time to update some of their books (tracking who was doing what service). I'm very patient and really did not mind waiting even though it was getting slightly annoying. Once I could tell they were almost done, I noticed that the nails looked very, very thick after she was doing the final step...which was exactly what I was trying to avoid and so I asked politely if she could please file them down a bit more to make them thinner, and she said she couldn't file them down too much for some reason I couldn't understand. So I said I just want them to look more natural. So then she proceeds to be very aggressive for the rest of my time there, even when brushing off the dust. That was extremely unprofessional and rude! My nails turned out quite thick even after asking to thin them out. I'm generally easy to please, and don't ever complain or leave bad reviews, but I felt I had to after all that. To top it all off I was overcharged! I asked if she could add $10 to the $60 total so I could pay a tip. So she did put a $10 charge on there plus an additional $10 charge for acrylic removal even though I did not have acrylic begin with. When I asked if she added the $10 tip on there she said that they don't do tips on the machine and that I needed to pay cash for the tip. So I'm baffled as to what the extra $10 x 2 was for. I didn't want to make a scene and so I did end up paying another tip, but I probably shouldn't have at that point. I went in wanting thin natural gel colored nails which probably wouldn't have cost no more than $50 bucks and wound up paying over $100 after all was said and done.
