She did not cut the cuticles and when she put my flip flops on she smudged my nail and didn't fix it. I gave her a $10 tip and she stood there looking at the $10. Before they started my nails I showed them the design I wanted and I asked if they could do it, they assured me they could... well as we're finishing up she told me she could not. I was already upset then I told her fine just do French tips..she left my nails without any design!!! Been going here for years. Mostly for pedicures. However my last visit I requested a mani/pedi. The pedicure was a motion of doing each step. The manicure, this was a joke. No soapy warm water, cold bowl of water, dunk my hand, no cuticle remover, just move the nail nippers around. The polish did not cover my entire nail, I have globs of polish on the end of my nails. Scam. I'll explain and document. I wanted mani/pedi. Was told 10 minute wait. After 20 minutes I was seated. 1. This is my second visit. The first was great. 2. They give you a list of options for pedicures I chose the $48 version. The most expensive was $53. The only difference was the type of lotion...I couldn't understand her bcuz she had 2 masks on! Maybe the CO2 build upwas damaging her brain. 3. The woman was the worst massage, kept poking my toes horribly and turned ON the massage chair after I turned it OFF bcuz it hurt. 4. I am allergic to polish and gel etc. I asked for buff only. 5. She mumbled something about cucumber lotion and I said sure. No clue what she said due to the ultra mask issue! 6. Then she said something about buff or shine. Finally someone without a mask said. " clear coat or buff shine?" I said I'm allergic to polish; just buff shine. She said...that's $5.00 extra. . Wait, polish costs you money. Buff shine doesn't! But you want more money? The first time I was there, less than 3 weeks ago...this wasn't a topic of discussion. Apparently there is a big scam going on. I'm reporting them to the health commission and the attorney general for fraud. Hiding costs and fees is ILLEGAL. I have been a customer since they opened and with COVID restrictions in 2020 most business would work with you with gift certificates. My daughter went in 2 days past the expiration date and they would not honor the gift certificate---after all these years as a customer. This place was great and right around the corner from where we were. I got a full set and a pedicure. The pedicure was amazing and the nail polish is lasting well, however I asked for the pink and white ombré nails and this is what I got in the picture. I'm not super happy with how they came out but I didn't have time for her to redo them at that moment. I honestly don't think the lady I had understood what I was asking for, she should have asked for a photo or something. I would go back for a pedicure but not for my nails again. Very unprofessional. The lady took the gel nail polish off and shaped my nails and afterwards asked me to pay prior to getting polish put on. The gold glitter polish went on clumpy like and uneven. Great prices but you get what you pay for. Thus, one star for affordability. Now let me tell you why I will NEVER come back. First, they do not listen. I asked to keep my original nail and keep acrylic overlay thick due to my thin nails and she straight up said NO. That it would "look betta" and started chopping away. Second, be prepared to get hurt. They are extremely hard on your nails and WILL make you bleed. I honestly almost cried and this is coming from a girl with her body 50% tattooed. Pain is typically not an issue for me. I wish she would have listened on keep my original nail and just filing down the old acrylic. Third, I was there for 3 hours. Once she knew I was upset she started working on other clients. Like come on lady , I am not leaving till you make me look presentable for my date. I was not about to leave with my nails all chopped up and bloody. Fourth, they are extremely rude. Her friend said, "hunny we not try to hurt you but yo nail is so tin" Then they would laugh. Look lady, I know my nails are thin, hence the acrylic overlay, but my girl in Cali hooks it up with no issues. Its called talent, learn to perfect your craft. lastly, my nails no joke, started breaking the next day! The product was cheap and her technique was obviously sloppy. Also, my nails straight throbbed for 3 days straight. This is the first time in my life i did not tip. I come here with my mom all the time. This is the only place we will get our nails done! They do a great job and it's reasonably priced. Today I paid $20 for a standard pedicure and $30 for a gel manicure. They have a lot of colors for gel. It's also nice because they always remember who you are. I am majorly displeased with the honesty of this nail salon, I have been a client for over 4 years and had one person (Tracy) who would always do my nails. The owners know that and failed to tell me that she was "going on vacation" for multiple weeks in the mean time they also knew I am getting married and would be upset if I had to have anyone else do them. $45 + tip for SNS dip gel. I've gotten SNS elsewhere and it was smooth and looked like gel. The top coat she put on my nails is all bubbly and lumpy and makes my GEL nails look dull, as of there was a matte coat full of air bubbles. She had me dry my hands in front of the fan, other places didn't make me do this. Tracy did my nails. Will not go back for $50+ dollars to have my nails messed up, my friends lied, this place SUCKS.
