I feel kinda bad coming through and dropping their rating but my last three pedis have been awful and it sucks because I want to love them! They are such nice people but I just don't feel like they go above and beyond anymore For starters, there are only two people there doing manis pedía and nails. They tell you they can schedule an appointment but the last few times I sit on a massage chair with hot water and by the time they get to me it's cold. I'm not even kidding. Then someone walks in and next thing you know they're like "ok honay! You're done! $$47! I'm like wtf!? " This last time I came out with callus (because he didn't do it) and some dry toes. I asked to borrow lotion and they straight told me I already put lotion. I was like, umm no you didn't. You washed it off with the dirty water and wiped it off with the hot towel. The lady told the guy who was helping me and he gave me the dirtiest look and handed me the lotion. When I walked out I told my sister that I was never going back. So one of my co workers recommended this place to me. Later on I found out that now it has new management and employees. I was trying to get my birthday nails done and was very excited. Michael the owner and my nail tech was doing my Nails. He told me that several concepts that I had picked where "not possible" even tho I had them done at several other nail salons. He rushed thought the entire process and gave me some of the worse nails I've ever had. Pictures below. I didn't speak up about my nails there and then but as soon as I was driving back I could just see the horror of my nails. They were bumpy because of too much nail polish and he went off the design. So I decided to call and I was being as respectful as possible but I wanted either a refund to go to a different saloon or someone else to do the nails for me. I called late on a Sunday and was able to get an appt for a pedicure. They put fresh fruit in the water basin which is seems to be normal out west. The woman did a thorough job and took her time thru each step of the callus pedicure I got. There are a few different kinds of pedicures you can get. Tip: Call in advance and make an appointment. We both agreed that we received excellent service also because we came during the week at 2 pm. Nice environment. The entryway is super cute. The manicure stations and the pedicure spas were all in good condition. I love the beige, purple and white color scheme. Welcoming. We arrived early, they got us in immediately. My daughter got the Classic Pedicure $22, and I got the $29 Callus Pedicure. They had me at the rose petal and grapefruit in the spa. The aroma was so refreshing. Then, when I slid my feet into the bath, the bath salts they use were luxurious. I started my chair massage immediately. My pedicurist threw in an extra grapefruit slice before getting started. Both technicians that worked with my daughter and I were pleasant and polite, quietly asking after my daughter and my family. Clean and sanitary. The tools they used to trim our nails were in sterilized packs. The bath had a plastic liner. The technicians used gloves. Tip: Be sure to ask for latex free if you have a latex allergy. I had no fear of contracting an infection or fungus. Quality foot and leg massage. Our whole experience lasted a little more than an hour. A good portion of the time was scrubbing with pumice stones, lathering with cleansers, massaging with mango body lotions. They even massage using the grapefruit slices. Then, they bring hot towels, wrap and press on your calves and soles of your feet. I was on Cloud 9! After that, they carry in two medium size hot stones. They massaged our feet and calves again with more lotion. Detailed.The callus removal treatment was neatly done and with great care. When they add polish, they use a paint brush to remove any stray polish. I felt pampered and cared for. Great price! These ladies provided us the best pedicure experience ever! For the standard price of a spa pedicure elsewhere, you received an hour of pampering that is heads and shoulders above other salons. I can't wait to come back. read more

I don't think I would come here again. They were able to see me right away, which I really appreciated. And their prices are reasonable. However, the lady who did my pedicure had extremely long nails that made the pedicure and massage extremely uncomfortable; constant scratching and sharp digging with her long nails into my arch made it pretty unpleasant to be massaged. I thought she did a poor job with the callus remover and polish application. I had a little bit of black on my heel from my black flip flops and even after the callus remover was applied, there was still black residue on parts of my heel; clearly, she wasn't very thorough. She only let the callus remover sit for maybe 30 seconds and then began to manually exfoliate for about a minute or two. I also had nail polish on my skin and despite needing a touch-up on the pink polish (there were spots that didn't have enough coverage and you could still see the nail), she didn't go back and make the polish uniform. My final gripe is simply regarding rudeness. I like to keep my nails shorter because it's uncomfortable for me to have long nails when I wear closed-toe shoes. The nail tech I got went on and on about how short my nails were. Then she talked to other techs about how short my nails were. Obviously, because she was speaking another language, I cannot prove she was actually doing it. However, it seemed pretty apparent that she was doing just that, since she was pointing at my nails and sighing loudly as she spoke to another nail tech. I have seen this kind of behavior before at a lot of other nail salons and I genuinely think it's cultural, not personal. I've gotten to the point where I just ignore it now, but I still think people should know when it happens, since it is pretty rude. One other item of note: their idea of a citrus scrub is taking actual citrus fruit and rubbing your legs and feet with it. It isn't a traditional salt or sugar scrub that smells like citrus. I thought it was weird because I was expecting a typical scrub for skin exfoliation. I was little disappointed that I didn't get the exfoliation, but it still felt nice. Overall, the place is clean and as I said, the prices are reasonable. I just don't think this place prioritizes attention-to-detail. I plan to spend my money elsewhere in the future. read more

This was my go to place when it was LK. Stopped in yesterday, realized it was under new owners. Worst mani pedi I've ever had. No cuticle remover was used, gel is peeling around the nail beds, it's been less than 12 hours. I keep my nails short, every nail had gel gluing to my finger tip. I asked him to fix it, he told me to just wash my hands, it'll come off eventually. So now I have dried gel flaking off every finger. I haven't had my nails done in over a year...so I knew there'd be a lot of cuticle removed....zero. This guy just pretended to cut away at the cuticle. Loved this place!! Their prices are great. We got the classic pedis for $22 and I Feel like anywhere else they would have started at about $30. None of the techs rushed through and for once I actually felt like they were really nice. Haha I don't always get that impression. The inside is pretty classy with nice decor. They had plenty of techs on hand to do my party of 4 and additional walk-ins so no one waited. And the massage chairs were really great too. This is our new favorite spot. Use to be LK Nails but is now LA Nails & Spa. Just got worst pedicure. Had a male do my pedicure, he did everything as if he was shown once how to do it and then made up his own process instead of asking. I knew it was trouble when he wouldn't let me put my feet in water at beginning of pedicure. Then he cut all my nails so low that I could see my nail bed. I got a sorry from manager. This was my second time coming here and it was just as phenomenal as the first. I worked with Cindy this time and did the $40 pedicure and $12 manicure. She was great. Pedicure included: callus removal, honey sugar scrub, grapefruit scrub (with actual grapefruit halves- amazing), mint mask, paraffin wrap, lotion massage, hot stone, hot towel and polish. If I could afford a pedicure a day, I would. It's that good! I used to come here at least once a month while I was pregnant for some much needed relaxation and it was always great. Before I start, I'd like to say that I've been getting my nails done for 14 years and I'm opening up my own salon where all the workers will speak ENGLISH, are FRIENDLY, and will make their customers feel relaxed, not STRESSED OUT. Rachel the witch with the bleached hair rushed us when we were choosing our colors. We were there for about two minutes and she said, "Are you guys ready yet?" Versus take your time (which is what she should've said). Mind you there were only 2 other customers there. THEY WERE NOT BUSY LMAO. I've never had anyone rush us. Rachel kept pushing for me to get gel nails (they just want the money because gel nails cost more) and I told her no twice. Then she starts talking crap in Vietnamese to her coworkers and they all laughed. She made me bleed when she was plucking my cuticles then put acetone on it. It stung like crazy. She also rushed on my Polish change and rushed on my calf massage. She looks like she hates her life and hates her job. Take my word for it and stay away from this nail salon. Also I'm not the first person to experience this horrific place. What the other customers have complained about is true. She didn't even know what the word "transparent" means. Rachel also has a bad temper and as soon as I sat down demanded for the colors I chose. She yelled, "Give me the nail polish. GIVE ME THE NAIL POLISH!!" Hands down! Here lies the best pedicure in the valley. By far the best. The chairs are extremely comfortable. They use fresh grapefruit in your water and on your feet. The location is well maintained. Floors are clean and the salon doesn't smell heavily of nail products. Its a simple salon with 10 pedicure chairs and 8 manicure stations. The first time I came as a walk-in with a friend and she wanted someone specific so we had to come back a bit later in the day. Both ladies did a great job on our nails. I got a gel manicure and it has lasted over 3 weeks with no chips or lifted areas. The girl did a good job shaping my nails and the coverage of polish was clean and even. All of the tools were individually wrapped and clean. The nail stations wrre well maintained and kept organized. Polish wise they have a ton of OPI and Esse colours with a couple of other brands as well. Their gel selection is great! I decided to come back for a full service kind of day. This time I scheduled an appointment. Luxury Spa pedicure Wooooow. It felt amazing. The clay mask was excellent followed by a scrub massage and half an orange to rinse (thats right, she used an orange to rinse my legs and it was wonderful). Next came the paraffin wax and another leg massage with lotion this time. These people (because there is a gentleman that works here) really know how to do a massage. It was long and thorough. They actually give you a massage not just lightly fondle you. French tip gel manicure Once again my nails are shaped well. The manicure did NOT hurt at all. Cuticles tackled with precision. I don't bother making an appointment anymore at any of these places because it seems like you get in faster if you don't. They use grapefruit in their pedicures (yaaaaas) which is so refreshing! Prices average for these services. Not a great deal, but its generally quiet and somewhat relaxing. She had to redo my acrylic polish because it bubbled under the heat lamp. Today I went in and of course they are talking shit in their language and one lady literally came over and told me to told me to come back another day because they didn't have enough staff. My nails were done by David. I regret ever stepping foot in there. The only reason they are getting two stars is because they are a clean location and got me in quickly. Plus, in the past, I had great experience My appointment was for 5:30. I walked in at 5:15. You would have thought I did the rudest thing In the entire world by showing up 15 minutes early with the way David acted. He sighed and huffed over me arriving there early. He was so incredibly rough on my hands. In fact, three of my nails broke off and had to be reapplied because he was buffing them so hard. He didn't listen at all about what I wanted for my nails. I wanted rounded, natural looking. He didn't even attempt it. He cut every single finger and then made comments about me being too tense. I'm too tense because you keep cutting my fingers! He didn't want to paint my nails white and made comments over that. One of my nails has a hair in the coat and he wouldn't fix it. He changed prices on me when we got to the register. I have lived around Bell and 43rd for a good 15 years, and FINALLY, I found LK Hand and Foot Spa! (Thanks to Yelp) My mom and I walked in at 430 on a Tuesday evening. A young lady at the front desk helped us sign in, pick colors and decide what we wanted to do. We were seated in super nice, brand new Message Foot Spa seats. The tub you put your feet in is covered in new plastic for every new customer. They perfect temperature water with floating citrus and flower pedals. There are 2 large chandeliers that hang from the ceiling, and a few more small ones through out. That paired with the Royal Purple curtains and walls makes you feel like you are in a modern Queens Den of luxury. The 2 ladies we had were very nice, professional, and SUPER detailed to everything they were doing. Any kind of tool they took out was wrapped in plastic, used once, and put away to be re-sanitized and put back in new plastic. The prices are just right. Very reasonable. 18 for basic Pedicure, 20 for set of Gel, 25 for Gel Manicure, ect... And this place is the CLEANEST nail salon I have ever been in. Not even a spec of dust could I detect. I can't believe this place has been located walking distance from my house for over a year and I just found out about them. I'm so happy I did.
