I needed to get my nails (I got the TAP hybrid full set and a silver pedicure) done last minute for a wedding I was attending and this was the closest salon to me. I called and made an appointment so I could get my services done. The salon is cute and clean with a pleasant vibe upon arrival. I was greeted and sat fairly quickly which was nice. The pedicure was enjoyable but she cut too much on my cuticles on my big toes (you'll see the scabs on my cuticles in the photo) which was pretty painful but it wasn't a lot nor severe. I loved the shape and the color so overall it didn't dampen my experience too much. After my pedicure was finished I thought I would be sat immediately for my nails but when I asked the woman who serviced my pedicure she told her colleagues something and then told me Id be sat in a moment and to just wait and relax in the chair. They sat down two other women before they finally sat me down (I waited a total of around 35 minutes after my pedi) which I found very unprofessional. The woman that I was sat with for my nails was in front of me and throughout my pedicure service I had watched her complete a full set with intricate design and jewels. Really the nails were quite lovely and so as you can imagine when I was sat with her, I was excited to have her complete my very basic set. I wanted short/medium almond shape with a French tip. As soon as she put the tips on I knew it was going to be an awful experience. When she asked me the length I had her adjust it a couple times to get to my preferred length and she was rude from then on and her customer service and quality of work drastically declined as she continued.. She pre shaped my nails using nail clippers to get a "rough draft" of the almond shape and asked me if I liked them, I asked her is this just the initial shape and will the shape look cleaner (more even) when we get closer to putting on the TAP gel. She yelled at me HUH and after I repeated myself she looked at me like she didn't understand and then said yeah very curt. After that, every time she had me check anything on my nails she would rudely throw my hand at me and if I would ask her to change something she would rudely and loudly yell at me HUH. I wish I would've just had her remove the tips in the beginning the first time she was rude and paid for my pedicure and left. But because I didn't do that I paid $140 ($150 after tip bc yes I tipped and mainly it was for the pedi - that woman was lovely and she shouldn't suffer bc of her rude ass colleague) to be treated very poorly, yelled at, and left with very poor quality nails that are uneven and misshapen and on my right thumb literally missing the left side of the tip because she filed it down so much. Hindsight is 20/20 and if I could go back I would've left or just gotten the gel X where the shape is already done and all they need to do is adhere it and put the design. I've added photos of my nails, both hands and my feet so you could see for yourself the quality of that woman's work. They're kinda like smoky mirrors. From afar you don't or won't see the problem but if you zoom in or really look at them you'll see how uneven not only the shape is but also the French tip design. Now are they atrocious? No. I've had worse nail shape and design wise. Is it worth the price paid for them? H3ll no. If you do try this place, I do NOT recommend the nail tech who handled my TAP gel service. I didn't get her name but she was the one who sat right behind the front desk. There's 2 tech tables on the left hand side when you walk in. Hers was the one on the right. If you're in a pinch like I was it's an eh spot. Given how I was treated and the quality of my nails AND the price. I wouldn't recommend it. I'd rather spend the same amount or more money at a salon I'm treated respectfully and kindly at and my nails are even and done beautifully without me requesting them to be fixed. read more

I've been coming here for almost 2 years now, I always will make my appointments with Chloe "owner/manager" my experience has always been decent nothing to complaint about usually. However the last appointment I had I would have to say was the last draw for me. Got my nails done on a Sunday they were busier then usually so Chloe of course rushed the whole fill that she has did for me. My nails came out some longer than orhers. Nail polish was not painted all the way and bumps on the nails from the uneven top coat that was put on. I messaged Chloe directly to explain that I want these fixed? I'm going a trip she told me to come in to get them fixed so I did, I then also decided to get my toes done as well! Since I felt bad she had to fixed them. When I came to ask how much for my toes she told me it was $60? For my color changed on my Toes!!! I'm at this point in disgust and disbelief that I had to pay for her to FIX HER OWN MISTAKE? I've been dreading getting my nails done recently because my last few experiences have not been great at other salons. I decided to give this salon a try and had the best experience I have had in such a long time. I was able to make an early morning appointment the night before on their website. I went in for a simple manicure and pedicure. I was greeted and sat right away. I was never pressured to upgrade or made to feel like I was wasting their time for requesting the basics. The lady who took care of me did an amazing job. She was sweet, she was fast, she never nipped me or anything. I am actually looking forward to coming back. I have been going here often and on for years and usually it is a very positive and friendly experience. However, there is a nail tech technician who is so mean who works there and I've had her before and if you don't like your job, get a job somewhere else like Costco, where everybody is happy.. it cost more than it used to for a full set of nails and she was extremely rude because I didn't want to use the UV light and get gel. My fingers are sensitive so I can't go without option.. She was so rude in the beginning before we even started. I almost walked out, and I regret that I did not.. other people who worked there are friendly, but I will never go back to the salon because of her. read more

The quality of how they do nails here is good (shape, last awhile) however they do not have good customer service. I always make an appointment and always have to wait 15 -20min at least. Last time i was getting my birthday nails plus i was going to be in a wedding that weekend. My nails turned out nothing like the reference photo, I mentioned that i just really wasn't a fan of the color (they looked gray). Anyways when I came back they said they were only going to paint over it with gel? I had just paid $60 for dip and chrome and they said to even add chrome again i would have to pay for again with a 20% discount. Just doesn't sit right with me. Usually I love coming here butI had a bad experience my last visit. I came in for a scheduled full set and a pedicure, they had me sit down with a young man to get started on mg nails which he had rushed through and ended up shaping my nails very wrong and all different lengths and while prepping he cut my cuticle hard too. After my nails they then had my pedicure done by an older man which took forever for the basic! i was in that seat for an hour n some change which in the end two got smudged which I had him redo. I am so glad I went to this place. I used to go to a different place down the road from here but the customer service has gone down hill with other things as well. Long story short I had an appointment at my other nail salon , I showed up the tech I had cancelled on me without letting me know. I am very particular who does my nails , so I went looking on Yelp for another spot I seen nice work here I decided to give it a chance. Lee did my nails , he put so much work into these nails , did not rush and just made sure I had perfect nails. Not only was Lee amazing at what he does he has the best customer service and did not make me feel like a burden for wanting to see different colors before I chose this one which he actually recommended. Came here because of all of the positive reviews but left very disappointed. Went in to ask for a french manicure and showed an inspo photo. The lady who did my nails was very sweet but did an awful job. The polish was chunky and not evenly done. I felt like I was also being constantly upcharged for things I've never been charged for before at salons before; ex: the "curve" in French tips was an additional $5 to the already added $10. I'm not sure what curve was being referred to. I wanted to love this place and the people are sweet but unfortunately won't be returning. read more

I just moved to North Phoenix after living in the East Valley. Was super sad to be leaving my nail place I have been going to a long time. Tried this place out after trying 2 nail places on this side and being disappointed with both pricing and quality of service. T & K Nails has comparable pricing to my salon in the East Valley and Lee did a great job. The shape is on point and he was very thorough with doing my nails while also being very efficient. You can tell he's been doing nails for a long time. I also liked the relaxing piano music they had playing, sometimes these nail salons are booming pop and house music that gets a bit too much for me. Was a more calming environment for sure. I do wish the tv had something interesting on to watch but that's subjective. I think I may have found my new nail salon and I will be back. read more

Because I moved on the area, I decided to try this place based off reviews. My son went with me because he wanted a pedicure as well (basically a nail trim and massage). The service was so great. I honestly had probably the best pedicure I have ever had by Rachel! I will definitely go back specifically to have her. She was so good and sweet. I came here with my daughter on a Sunday and just wanted to take off my gel polish and get a manicure they told me $30 dollars. That's more than a gel polish manicure the last time I came in. Then, I said just take of the gel polish and polish them no manicure, then the price was $25...haha "like let's make a deal"! $10 to take off my gel polish and $15 to paint my nails. No thank you and I sat there and waited for my daughter to be done. Honestly, ridiculous. If they think they can get more money out of you they will try and take it. They are shady and be prepared to pay some random price depending on the day and the time. Fast Forward an hour later (after I left my daughter there, who is 23, to run across the street to get my gel polish taken off and my nails painted for $12) come to find out the owner (the same guy who quoted me my nail price) read the review I wrote and proceed to harassed my daughter while she was finishing up her nails told everyone in the nail salon . Some of the women were saying stuff about me to her out loud. Shame on the professionalism of this nail place and the women who decided to put my "paying" daughter in the middle.
