I showed up as a walk in and they were empty. That should have been my first warning because I had just been turned away by another salon less than a mile away who had every single seat full for mother's day, and said they couldn't take anyone else right now, but this salon was completely empty. Most of the their stations were being used for storage. There pedicure stations were covered with stuff, the basins overflowing with junk. it was messy, cluttered and dirty looking. They had stuff covering all of the finger nail stations too, and she had to move stuff to make room for me even though no one was there. They didn't have a single station open to be used. Where were they expecting customers to go??? She was not prepared, she didn't have anything she needed at the station, kept getting up and walking around, but was mostly ON HER PHONE instead of doing my nails, she kept texting and telling me, "One moment. Just wait, one moment." I asked for a manicure with gel polish - French tip with the nails square round. She did not shape them. She did not trim them. She just jumped into painting them and my fingers. When I told her I didn't like the tips, that I preferred them smaller, she said "No. No. I do them like this. It is easier for me." I said, "I like them a little smaller." She again told me "No. To make the line, I do them like this. You don't like them, you tell me now. You tell me now if you don't like them!! Tell me now!" .... I JUST DID. So, me being on a time crunch and not wanting to deal with a woman snapping at me, I said, "It's fine." She then continued. At one point, I told her she missed half of my thumb nail, and she said "No. It's fine. Don't worry about it." I said, "Half of the nail doesn't even have polish." So she fixed it. Then she got gel polish all over my fingers and didn't bother to clean it up, until the end after it had cured. She cleaned it up by getting out her cuticle trimmers and just cutting the paint off my skin and some of my skin (see the picture of my ring finger). They look awful too, not shaped, bubbly, and just horrible. She then told me that she used to work at a different location and they let her go in 2018... I can see why. AVOID this place. read more

Had the worst manicure here. They were nice but everything was strange. No music or sound. The lady would wash her hands and come back with wet hands and touch mine with them, she took off my gel polish aggressively, and the paint job had so many lumps and bumps and was on my fingers. One of my nails was so thin it split in half a few days after. read more

I've been coming to Nail Depot off and on for about 8 years now. We have so many nail shops in the arrowhead area but I just come back to here it's just super convenient you can't beat the prices. You are always able to get in whenever ur needed. It's always quite when you come in it's not over crowded with chairs there is enough room That you aren't on top of someone while getting ur nails done. This place charges too much. I went in for a dip manicure and the owner tried to pressure me into a pedicure as well for a "good deal." When I said no, she continued to try to sell it $20 off. I still declined but did get the dip manicure. She began taking the old off before giving me the color choices. Then while my fingers were soaking asked me what color I wanted still before giving me the samples. In the end, the color I ended up with needed to have other stuff added after the dip to look like the sample I picked from the start and the quality of the work was poor. I now have a couple little cuts around some of my nails and rough edges of dip that I'm either picking off or filing myself to fix on just about each finger. Additionally, when another patron came in, the owner also pulled the pedicure stunt on her. She too said no but she must have changed her mind during the manicure because when she was done, she escorted her to the pedi chair. Though this is close to home, I will not be coming back. On a positive note, they do give the hand massage at the end. That used to be standard but so many places around her don't do that. It was the best part of the service! read more

DO NOT recommend. Received a terrible pedicure. Nail tech cut the bottom of my toe and didn't say anything. Originally thought it was tender from the callus remover, but she rubbed my toe raw and took off a layer of skin. It's painful to walk. She also left some color in my skin and cut my nails so short some of them hurt and look funny. They are so super pushy with their services. read more

Initially, I was bribed with 10% to write a positive yelp review, but decided to write a review after numerous chances of giving them the benefit of the doubt. I've had enough with bleeding, infected cuts surrounding my cuticles; specifically from the nail technician, Tina. Not to mention, all the bubbles she leaves on my nails and the leftover polish on my skin. They are so hungry for business that they are willing to squeeze you in and make you wait, just to rush the job. Thank you for making me feel like you have time to squeeze me in, but please don't waste my money or time with a rushed, poor quality service. Although they are unable to fix my cuts, they are willing to fix your nails, but it also gets exhausting constantly asking them to fix their mistakes. They also make it all about you to maintain their customers, but then question why you never expressed what you wanted even though you did. For instance, when I requested another technician to fix my nails since Tina always hurts, they told me that I would need the same technician and questioned why I don't tell Tina about my cuts. Umm... every time I would say, "Ow, please be careful. You're cutting me." If this isn't expressing myself then I don't know what is. Myself and a friend came here and although the staff was friendly, we would not come back (even if we were promised free services for life). Bluntly, we both left bleeding with more gel on our skin surrounding our nails than our nails. My cut on my toe was bleeding significantly and the first aid was a frightening experience. The bleeding aside, both of our nails and toes will be redone at a different salon tomorrow. Even though it does hurt to write this review, as all three of then women are very nice- this was genuinely such a bad experience it was laughable.
