New to the area, trying to find nearby services. I was a walk-in on a Friday. The salon is tiny, dingy, smells like cigarette smoke, and is uncomfortably hot. The pedi chairs looked like they came from Temu and were as uncomfortable as they looked. I looked around as I waited in the chair for the next tech. The salon is dusty and dirty. The nail tech came over immediately after finishing with another client, set her box down and proceeded to try and use all the same tools she just used on the previous client. I don't believe they use proper sterilization techniques here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was very nice and friendly[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but I don't care how cheap their prices are, their practices are dangerous to public health. I have been going to AP Nails now for almost a year and I can honestly say they do a really good job on my dip nails and I always get a pedicure. They have a nice selection of colors to choose from and everybody is so friendly ! I was reading other reviews and I don't know about Rita what she said about a mom and a dad and a young child. A good value pedicure! This is a small and clean salon with five nail stations and five pedicure chairs. One of the things I appreciated was the fact that the workers paid attention to their clients and didn't speak a foreign language with each other the entire visit. I don't think I heard a different language once. My friend and I both got pedicures. The lady working on my friend's toes didn't like how the nail polish appeared (much too light) so she got up and grabbed about three to four other polishes in the same color code but darker, for my friend to choose from. I thought that was awesome. The worker clearly took pride in what she was doing and wanted my friend to be happy too. We both had ordered the mid range pedi that includes a hot stone massage. My gal forgot the stone massage but I did get the hot towel rub down and paraffin wax. The cheese grater type of tool she used for the dry skin on my heels was bigger than normal so a lot of dry skin was taken off. Maybe a little too much because for two to three days after it felt like my heels were cracking. Overall we were both really happy and will return. read more

I've bounced from salon to salon for the last six months like Goldilocks...too thin, too thick, too expensive, too far, too rude! And finally thought I'd try this quiet little salon just 2 blocks away. Started with a pedicure by Peter--loved it! He was gentle, he listened, he took his time. Callus removal & gel polish $40. Next date returned for an acrylic fill, French manicure gel polish with Annie. She, too, was so sweet, nice, listened and did a gorgeous job, exactly what I wanted for $30. The salon is neat and by appointment only for Covid so not too many people are there at one time. I think I may have finally found my permanent salon! read more

Came in for dip nails and a pedicure. Had almost no prep done to my finger nails. The dip and my nail shape were both uneven and bumpy. Dip was left all around my nails. My cuticles actually looked worse then when I came in. The pedicure was rushed. Polish was also uneven and left on my skin. The whole service felt extremely rushed. Would not come back. I'm an average guy that does not do pedicures except for when there is a special occasion and my feet are in bad shape from a lot of running and swimming. AP Nails was perfect. They had no problem with doing a pedicure for a guy. I was able to get an appointment easily for the following morning, and when I showed up, there was a nice staff member there ready for me. It wasn't over the top feminine in there and I felt comfortable the whole time. Everything looked very clean and sterilized. No issues the whole time and my feet felt great afterwards. They were nice enough to say that my feet weren't that bad, but I really have no frame of reference. Price was straight forward and I thought a great deal for the service.
