I initially would have given this place 5 stars, but I can't now .. they do NOT answer their phone / or have major phone issues. I tell them all the time that phone is unreachable . Out of a 100 tried phone calls , you will be lucky if you get 1 that goes through . I have to randomly walk in and hope my guy is working . I don't know how you can run a successful business with no phone. My pedicure guy Ben is the BEST pedicure you will ever have . I have been going to him for over 20 years! He is phenomenal, but has nothing to do with them not fixing the phone issues. Ben is 5 The fact they have been told about the phone issues and won't do anything to fix it or make it right , gives them a 2 star. That's just crazy. I don't know how they stay in business. ?? Let me start by saying that I have terrible feet. After years in the military, my poor dogs have been left beaten and over-worked. My nail tech (I didn't catch his name, I'm sorry!) didn't hesitate at the state of my terrible feet, he just worked his magic and now I can wear sandals for the summer. Giving stars because nails turned out ok. Deducting stars because I asked for gel take off & cut down. Told the tech I wanted to have completely natural nails for a couple of weeks and not have any paint or anything. She asked me if I wanted them "shiny buffed" and I asked what that was. After she described, I said no thanks. I just want the original service. Well, I ended up charged for shiny buff? I was of course confused but apparently that was the last step she did. They're fine. It's not like they look bad but that's not the service I requested. Idk. There wasn't really any harm done other than paying for an additional service. One of the worst experiences I've ever had was at this salon Mind you I work down the road so I wanted to try it out as my normal place was closed today 4/25 First of all I get there and there's two men sleeping in the chairs for pedicures and then there's two ladies getting their nails done place was pretty dead. I get seated and one of the gentlemen come over and start my pedicure. He asked me if I wanted gel again I said no and he got rude with me. Then started to clip my nails and cuticles and CUT ME ignored the fact I was bleeding and kept going which blew my mind. He rushed through the entire pedicure, not once did I complain other than when he cut me granted. But I stayed quiet. Finishing up (we are about 15 minutes in) He asks what color I want and I show him a blue French tip and he huffs and signs and says something to one of the sleeping men Gets up grabs tissue shoves it in between my toes and starts. After that an older lady comes in and she gets a pedicure. He takes about 10 minutes on her and I felt bad. It took her awhile to even walk in the building and he rushed her service she paid good money for. A few minutes go by and I'm finally dry so I get up to leave. I pay and the guy who did my nails said something snarky to the guy who checked me out. Overall. There was just something about the experience between the men sleeping in the pedicure chairs and the way I was treated and the people around me is wild. The lady didn't understand me and painted my nail all one color when I just wanted the tip painted. When asked to fix it, her and the owner started yelling, "What you want?! I really enjoyed this nail salon. It had walk in service and they allowed my friend that was not getting any services to tag along with me ! The nail tech was also very understanding that I had a few phone calls to make and was able to complete my nails without asking me to get off the phone. It was pretty busy so if I hadn't called I wouldn't know how long of a wait I would have had. Ben was my tech and took the time to see how I liked the shape and length as he worked. I liked that I could ask for him to adjust something and he would accommodate without making me feel I was being too picky. The foot massage was great after a hike up and back from Queens Bath in Kauai on Sunday 10/17/21. The price is comparable to every where else. I was in today and got a dip manicure done, after picking the color I wanted we started. I normally am not one to complain, but I have two very dip cuts on my left hand. My pinky finger and middle finger both started to bleed and she continued to use the same file on me(I hope she threw it away after I left, because there was definitely blood on it). Then when doing the color, I had picked a black and when doing the top coat she dipped my nails in a pink coat leaving the black looking faded and with it looking speckled. I don't think I can give a rating. I have been going here for a bout 3 1/2 years. Well I just got back home here and went to see Francis. I don't know who owns this place but I always pick out my gel polish. He came out of the back about 3:10 my appointment was 3:00 no problem. But I want you to know I was done by 3:30 fastest ever he did my nails but he didn't shape them or buff them. It was like he didn't care because all he talked about to make my nails strong was I needed acrylic nails. Now mind you he has never brought this up to me before but insisted that he always did on my nails. I said no I stopped that along time ago it ruined my nails. He was working on my nails and I think he was mad that I didn't want acrylic but people were coming in for that and last year I never heard that in this salon. So when we were walking to the register I casually asked what the cost was for acrylic and he gave me the price I said I would think about it. Later that night one of my nails just broke at the quick and then another. I have not had this happen before I called him next day and told him and asked him if he could fix them? He was yelling at me and I asked him to calm down and quit yelling at me he said it was my fault because I said I couldn't afford acrylic nails. He said he can't fix them and hung up. All around my finger nails are cuts. I normally get SNS and had it previously on my nails. He used many different drill heads that kept scraping my fingers. Even when I would say ouch or pull away he wouldn't be any more gentle. I didn't have a good experience here and in fact decided to not get a pedicure because I was scared of that also not being a good experience. Even when I was bleeding at one point he just used the base coat and put the brush back in after using it on my bleeding finger. read more

Three of us getting pedicures took 2 hours, because there was only one gal working on all three of us. They aren't very well staffed for during week day hours. Very nice staff and good work. Clean place and tools. They don't charge extra for a buff, which I appreciate because those tiny buff pads don't cost more than the cost of the OPI polish they put on you and a lot of places will charge you an extra $5. Call ahead, make an appointment to make sure you have attendants available to get you done, otherwise, you could be waiting a long time. read more
