I wish I could give zero stars. I came in with a Pinterest design I wanted for my engagement nails, but the results were nothing like what I asked for. The technician (an older woman) mentioned it would look a little different, but I didn't expect it to look like a child had drawn on my nails with mismatched background colors. When I asked to have it removed, the entire staff came over and tried to convince me it looked good, saying things like, "Everyone will compliment you." I felt pressured, paid $54, and left completely disappointed. As soon as I showed my friends, they were shocked and told me to get it redone. Even my fiancé couldn't believe I had paid for what they called "nail art." I ended up going to a different salon, where the nail tech recreated the exact design I originally wanted and only charged me a small fee bc she felt bad for the amount I spent on this "nail art" Another major concern is their lack of hygiene. The technician did not use sterile tools, instead, she pulled them out of a drawer, wiped them down with the towel that was used for me, and then put them back. That's completely unsanitary and unacceptable especially after she cut me. Absolutely would not recommend this place. read more

The facility is beyond gorgeous. It's very modern and clean. Mindy is the best nail technician I've ever had. She does things in her process that I've never seen any other technician do, and they use the highest quality products and she takes the time to discuss nail care and health. Ive followed her for 3 years and my natural long nails are in the best shape they have ever been! THEY CARE & take the time to make sure you're getting what you came for. I always get dip over my natural nails, I've even sent pics to her and she "nails" it everytime! The pedicures here are beyond heaven... they use several products on your skin to include a scrub, a minty mask, hot rocks and lotion and it extends the massage (which is why we really get pedicures right?!) Impeccable customer service, the owners make you feel as if you are family going over & beyond. My husband and I came in for just pedicures. The experience was lovely. My feet and legs feel so nice and my heels have less calluses. My DH has diabetes and we have to be careful with his feet. First time in 2 years I treated myself to getting my nails done again. Yah the lady was really nice but said she was a perfectionist and what I was left with was short of perfection. Uneven, way too thick, lumpy and bumpy, and I was cut several times. At first glance I thought they looked nice but after getting home and really looking that's when I started to notice all the mishaps. Unless you know they are properly licensed don't go. Took my daughter here for her 16th birthday, as I had a great experience here with her a few years ago on my birthday. There was only one other customer in the shop, I informed them that I had a party of 5 and we are waiting for the last two to arrive. The man at the front desk was very pushy and rushing us to pick out our colors and get to the chair. Told us to do so multiple times as we were trying to select our choices. I let them know again we are waiting for the rest of our party. We were told they only had 3 techs to provide the service. We sat down and grabbed the brochure for the selections of services, the tec wasn't trying to answer my Mother's questions so she could make an educated selection of service. Again with the pushiness. It just made us uncomfortable. So we left. I let them know why, and they didn't apologize or try to change it. Just straight up bad attitude. I paid for the water and towels we used. They didn't ask me to pay anything, however I appreciate the warm water that we used and towels used to dry off with. The atmosphere in the facility was dark and gloomy and the attitudes of the service wasn't any better. When we came previously it was the wonderful past nail techs demeanor and attitude that brightened the place up. When you get your nails done you shouldn't have to rush or be rushed unless that's the customers request for fast service. Pushy is never cool. So their nail skills at this time is still in questions. However we have no desire to find out and I do not recommend. It doesn't cost to be polite, but could have saved them 5 customers and a better review. They did NOT have my basic sparkle red color I get everywhere else either. Went to "Natural Touch Nails & Spa" on 13761 W Bell Rd, Surprise AZ after. Had a great time, our nails look good and they had my sparkle red and a great selectionof regular and gel.Sean and his lovely sisters, were a pleasur. The family used to own Serafina Nails but have relocated to VHT Nails and they once again are all together running a great nail salon! Meh....my girlfriend and I went in for dips and pedis. She got Tony who is also the manager. He was super friendly, nice conversation and she said he did the best pedicure she ever had. He did her dip too and she was very pleased. I had someone I think was called Henry (his English wasn't very good and he talked really low) he did a decent pedicure (not life changing like my friends but it was good). The dips were another story. I think he would have done a good job with a solid color but a French manicure with dip is NOT his thing. Every nail is bumpy at the transition. Unfortunately you don't know that they are bumpy until they're completely done. I didn't have time to stay to have him try and fix them. I am going to try and smooth them out myself and add some gel polish on top and cross my fingers. read more

If I could zero stars I would ! I had the most unpleasant experience ever ! I tried to give them benefit of doubt. I'm normally one to Complain but it was one thing after another, we had freezing cold water for our pedicures, but I didn't care until it came to my attention that I had been burnt by the towel being way to hot ( I still had the burn mark 30 minutes after my service ) my nail polish was lumpy the corners were not even painted. I had returned to express my feelings most places would fix the issue instead they turned me away and told me there was nothing they could do I already paid. My nails are already chipping. I'm so upset I don't not recommend this place. There's other great places out there that truly care for the customers this one is just not it ! read more

Always such an amazing experience every time my daughter and I come. We didn't have an appointment today and they were able to get us both in right away. Good thing we came right when they opened because they filled up very quickly. My daughter got her usual coffin nails and I did the mani pedi combo, but upgraded to get the organic coconut pedicure which includes Coconut Sugar Scrub, Coconut mask, Coconut lotion, Coconut massage oil, Callus treatment, CND cucumber heel treatment, 10 minute hot stone massage w/botanical dip skin candle oil lotion. It felt so amazing, and the best part is they just lowered the price to $37. I'm not to into acrylics and typically get a basic manicure which is only $15. Pedicure appt. I showed up about 40mins early, half expecting to wait until appt time. No problem. I arrived, seated me right away. Water was cold when she filled the foot tub. She didn't ask how the temp was. She walked away to be on her phone while it filled up. Scared me as I thought for sure it would overflow, but that would be on her. My gal was nice and courteous until she wasn't. I asked for the Hawaiian pro. Basically, the works for a Pedi. She was great, didn't feel anything when tending to trimming nails & cuticles. I noticed that while applying the paraffin to my feet and hot towel wrap, the "hot" stones were sitting out. So after "10min" massage, she grabbed the stones & as I thought, not so "hot" stones. When I said they were cold, she looked up at me and handed me the stone saying "they're hot, they burn my hands". She handed the stone to me & I held it for quite a time, not hot barely warm. She dropped the stones, grabbed 2 more, & immediately applied to my legs. It was better & they were pretty warm, not scorching. BUT she had to very fast & rough rub my legs with the stones tossing it back & forth between her hands. Yep, she was mad. Now, mind you, I asked about getting my brows done. She said she could do it and told me the cost, asked if I wanted & I had said yes. I am now having second thoughts about her doing them but not to worry as she she didn't even say a word about it. She rang me up and enough said from her. I asked about making an appt to get my brows done, just to see if she says "oh I forgot," or so & so can do them. NOPE, I was told I could make an appt. when would I like to make it. I said I would have to think about it. I've been going here since it was Estrella Nails 2012. This wasn't terrible but when you are going to pay for a deal and it says "hot" stones you're not wanting cold stones. She could've just said, let me get someone to help you because I can't hold the hot stones. I would understand. Not the cold shoulder tossing things around amd start speaking her language at the gal who sat in the chair next to me and laughing. I know they talk about their customers, whatever but at least make it not that obvious. read more

I requested a gel french manicure. I wear my nails square at an active length. I have been to this salon before, but this was the first time I was extremely dissatisfied. My nails were cut extremely short, and actually hurt. The white tips are uneven and thin. When I tried to ask for thicker white, the manicurist put on another coat, and made the white tip smaller. My nails are different shapes! I will not be back. read more
