yes, I want and I got a regular pedicure nothing special just the basic. The girl told me it was $26 so I put five dollars as a Tip... days later I checked my bank account statement rather it says they $33.66 so I called and they said well we're charging the fees that the bank charges you what kind of a place charges their customers and don't even tell them about It about the bank fee so am I paying for all the checks they deposit what kind of BS is this? I've been coming here for years, and they have always done an amazing job. I'm writing this for any yelpers looking here to get their nails done! Don't look down on the low bad reviews from these old Karen's. I was skeptical as-well and boy did they not disappoint! This salon is located in an older population of people and I'd assume is the reason why for the lack of amazing reviews they deserve! I came here was because of my mother and they were popping! How could this place be so busy with only 2 stars? Came to realize their customers are on the older side and why would they use yelp??? Hence why I'm here to write this to younger/yelper people. This salon is dreary and in desperate need of a facelift! The walls are dull, there's nothing interesting or inviting to look at, and it's pretty depressing to sit there, looking around at the dull, drab environment. My lowest - and I mean "lowest" standard for any salon is liners in the pedicure bowls, and as I walked in I saw they had those, so I took off my flips and settled in for what I hoped would be a relaxing pedicure. That's when I started to notice how unkempt and drab the place was. Almost thirty minutes later, (no lie) the gal came back from lunch and slowly got her things together to work on me. A very basic pedicure. Nothing interesting or special. And while I don't need to engage in deep conversations with my pedicurist, I do expect a bit of engagement. Or even, offer me some water on a hot Phoenix day? Overall, a disappointing experience. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Don't Go I approached Lee, the wife and co-owner, softly, calmly, told her I was disappointed that she passed my granddaughter on to another nail lady and it was unprofessional. The appointment was made for Lee and my granddaughter requested her. Lee wanted to excuse her actions but I didn't accept that and told her it was unprofessional. She PUT her Hands on my Shoulder and Back and PUSHED me towards the door. I was SO shocked, I was speechless! I regret not telling her to take her hands off me and saying it loud enough that the other clients would hear. I still Can't believe that she put her hand on me!!! Culture or not it is still no excuse and she had the best English in the shop. Needless to say I will never go back there again! I questioned the color not matching when she started my fingernails. Lee said the color would match when more coats are applied. When that didn't happen, she said sometime the colors don't get mixed right. I'd already been there 2+ hour's and was close to tears. Was told to come back to fix. They didn't offer a refund.. I was so angry by the time I got home. My husband and I called them and they refused a refund. I won't go back. If they had listened to me at the beginning this would have been fixed immediately. I went in for a shellac manicure today. I had to tell my tech more than once that the old gel was not off my nails. If I could feel it/see it, why couldn't she? Then she cut my nails down to different lengths. Even after she filed them, I had to ask her again to file them uniformly. She still didn't get that right. I finally gave up asking. When she was painting them, she not only kept touching the wet nail with her long pinky nail, but also kept trying to get the polish off using the side of her finger which, in turn, touched my wet nails. She just kept adding coats of polish to try and fix it. When she was done, she dripped some oil on my hands and pretended to give me a "massage". HAH! Pathetic attempt. She was in a hurry to get up and get on her phone. I will NEVER go back and suggest you don't ever go there. read more

I had a 1pm appointment on time had me soak warm water, didn't add blue powder till started trim my nails.Terrible trim of nails left with many trim uneven an left to long,never touched big toe. I was a walk in. I was greeted promply, told to expect a twenty minute wait, and only needed to wait 5 minutes. The prices were reasonable and I'm thrilled with how the pink and white acrylic with the gel overlay came out. Was glad I took the advice of one of the girls as this is my nails for my wedding. The people are friendly enough, some more than others. I do not like when they talk in their native language because it feels as if they are talking about us in the salon. I also don't like the fact that after you are done ,they put you under a light to dry but they don't say how long you have to be there. Omg I just had my worst pedicure ever. Although the people were very nice my pedicure was terrible! The water first was so hot I jumped and pulled my feet out, then the top of my ankle started to burn because the callus remover was on my regular skin burning it, then my water was switched to ice cold and I never got any sort of leg massage or anything. I get pedicures every 2 weeks and this was just terrible. I've never had to say a thing before but here I felt like such a complainer. When BE NAILS took over Del Webb Nail Salon, they promoted brand loyalty with a "Buy Ten Manicure/Pedicure - Get the Next One FREE." Essentially, spend $300 (plus tips) at BE NAILS and they'd give you a FREE $30 mani/pedi. NOT SO, they are not honoring the promotion. They tell you upon your tenth visit, "Oh, no, that was a mistake. We give ten dollars off on your next visit." When pressed to explain why FREE is printed on the card, not $10 Off, they tell you, "That is mistake." Why wasn't I told that all the ten times I had my technician fill out my card? FREE is FREE. They were not concerned about losing a customer over this. I walked out, never to return. Let's say at a minimum, another 10 years of at least $300 a year; they watched $3,000 walk out their door. 11/11/13. I showed up to Be Nails for my eleven o'clock appt I had made the month before with the girl who had done my nails and the one who has done my feet. When I got there they showed my appt and told me to have a seat. In a few minutes a man comes to get me and started taking back to his station. Three different times I asked why he was taking me and where was the girl I had an appt with. He completed ignored me!!! I then looked at him and said I am now asking for the fourth time why are you taking me and where is the girl I made the appt with. Again no answer and instead I'm taken over to have my feet done. So this girl comes over to do my feet and again I asked the same question of her. Again I was ignored. She proceeds to throw the blue crystals in the water and they splash up on my pink pants and now I have blue on them. She says nothing. Then she turns on the jet and it comes off and I'm sprayed all over with water. She tries it again and it happens again. By now there is this lady standing next to me, who I realized later was the owner, trying to tell me my appt was at 11:30 and I was a picky customer. Again I asked where were the ones who had a made an appt with and she stands there yelling at me telling me I'm a picky customer. I stated what had happened with the crystals and the jets and politely suggested that they might not want to use that spa. She then proceeded d to go off even more on me. I told the girl to dry my feet that I was leaving.. The owner is yelling at the top of her lungs at me to get out right this minutes you are a horrible customer and picky and don't ever come back in front of the other customer. I am 66 years old and never been kicked out of anywhere but with a owner like this this business will go under. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO RUDELY IN MY LIFE. She blamed me for everthing and I'm the one standing there wet and blue spots on my pants. DONOT GO There. I have since from out she treats her employees the same way.
