I've supported this salon since it opened. I've brought friends and family, referred people constantly, tipped well, and overlooked things like being accidentally cut during services because I wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, my last visit changed my opinion completely. When I asked about a nail design, the manager gave me a look that made me feel judged and unwelcome, as if I couldn't afford the service I was requesting. As one of the very few Mexican customers I've seen in the salon, the experience left me wondering if I was being treated differently. Whether that was the intention or not, that's exactly how it felt. I've spent years and thousands of dollars on self-care services and have never left a salon feeling so judged. They were great at first opening but now three pedicures in a row , does not listen to what I'm asking for. Cuts and buffs nails unevenly then gets upset when I ask to fix the nails to be buffed evenly. This third time was it. I will not return. I was a regular here for awhile but after this week, I won't go back. The pictures show the initial horrible paint job and red toe from an overly aggressive pedicure. The manicurist basically just plopped the paint on my nails. It was thick and bumpy and when I told him, he just put more top coat on. I emailed the owner, Vin, and he agreed to fix my hands for free. Awesome, right? Nope. He was so rough on my hands that all the cuticles are red. Then he broke the nail on my right ring finger. I asked him to cut the rest of my nails to make them all the same length. He said no and it would grow back. By this point I was over arguing. The paint job is much better but now my hands are sore and irritated. Plus, look at my toe a few days after the initial pedicure. I paid $90 for this service (and tipped! and it's just awful. The worst part though is that the man and lady who did the initial work were talking about me! When I called them out on it, they got awkwardly silent. By that time I was embarrassed and so I just sat there silently trying not to make a scene. I told Vin and he didn't care. Made an appointment a week ago for my anniversary on 1/2 @11am. Drove 30 mins for there cool experience posted online. Very disorganized, checked in with no acknowledgment from staff, after they took multiple people before us, I asked about my appointment and was meet with confusion like they didn't know what I was saying. Received multiple text confirming my appt. All they could say was I'm sorry. That's what I get for trying something new. Pro tip- Don't accept appointments online if you are not going to hold people for the service otherwise what is the point. Just do walk-ins only. read more

Azcona Nail spa is a TOTAL RIP OFF. All I had done were my cuticles and I was charged $25 !! I told them when I arrived that was all I wanted. when I went to pay and explained this they would not adjust the price: $25 for ONLY my cuticles. The guy asked if she did a hand massage, I said yes and he said that was part of the price. I do not live here and I always pay $16 for my cuticles. and that includes a hand massage. So if you don't want to get ripped off definitely find another place if the rating had no stars I would give it a zero. read more

Wonderful, clean, great staff salon! We moved from Northern California almost a year ago and needed a new nail place for both my fills and pedicures for myself and husband. Kathy takes care of all my needs, my nails look amazing when I leave and they last a good 4 weeks! I know this because my next appointment is always 4 weeks. My husband sees Kim and he is so satisfied with her he really won't see anyone else. They have beautiful color selections and packages, I bought my husband one of the pedicure packages and he was in heaven! My review is for the nail tech named John. I got a mani pedi and he rushed both and skipped many steps that were supposed to be included with each package I chose. He was also very rough scrubbing my feet and I now have a cut on one of my toes and he didn't cut my cuticles good on my fingers. I made an appointment, showed up 10 minutes before my scheduled time, sat for 25 minutes, and finally left because they had so many standing around waiting. Returned the following week. The technicians were good, checkout was not so good. My girlfriend and I have visited this salon three times now and for some reason they ALWAYS FORGET to take the 10% off our bill. There's a large sign directly next to their checkout area that clearly states 10% off Monday-Wednesday for seniors 60+. I mentioned this as I inserted my credit card, yet my charges were still not showing the 10% discount. I was told they could not credit my card after it had already been charged..... REALLY? You can charge my card, but you're not able to credit my card?? I realize it is not a huge deduction, but after three visits that amount adds up. AND we have always given the technicians decent tips. After I got home I thought more about it, so I called and was told the manager was not in to speak with me, however promised he would return my call the following day. That never happened. Unfortunately this spa is a huge disappointment. After having twins 10 months ago, I really haven't had time to get out but finally I decided to treat myself to a pedi and full set of builder gel. Cindy was really nice and fast with my mani but after she was done I inspected and 2 nails are cooked and one is bumpy after asking the design to be fixed. The gel and color never went all the way to my cuticle so they looked grown out after walking out of the salon. Fast forward to 5 days after they started to lift, one nail popped off and a second popped off yesterday. I got them done on the 20th. I'll put a pic of what they looked like on the 25th.. and then today. I could've said something before leaving the salon but I got twins at home and stuff to do lol. I was just trying to not obsess over them but $80 for the pedi and $80 for the mani... should've left with perfect nail without saying anything. read more

Was so excited to get my nails done before my concert but sadly was disappointed with the work I saw and was mean mugged and talked shit on by the horrible staff that work in that shitty nail salon. I walk in just before 9:30 and they don't have anyone designated to run the desk so there was no one there to greet me or check me in. Every single tech currently had a customer.
