What? A big burly tattooed man can't get mani/pedis with the wifey? Well, this one does!…read more My wife convinced me to start taking better care of my hands and feet. Her reasoning? "You'll get to touch me more." I am just but a simple male. My wife and I have been seeing Lisa and Mery for years now. In fact, we've followed them from nail spa to nail spa because they're just that good. They remember us, they remember our children, and every visit begins with them asking how the family is doing. They genuinely care about the people sitting in their chairs, and it shows. Every appointment leaves me feeling refreshed, smooth, and occasionally even pretty after letting my daughters pick my nail colors. Dad life. Not many places can make a grown, tattooed man feel comfortable enough to enjoy a manicure and pedicure without feeling out of place. Some days I walk in feeling like an '80s action hero. Other days I'm perfectly content sitting in a massage chair while someone makes my feet look socially acceptable again. Either way, Lisa and Mery have created an environment where everyone feels welcome. Their work is excellent, their personalities are even better, and they're a big reason my wife and I keep coming back. Treat yo'self! Your feet deserve better than you've been giving them.

This has happened to me twice with two different nail techs, and someone I went with is having the same issue after seeing a third technician. At this point, it doesn't seem like an isolated problem. I understand that occasional lifting can happen, but builder gel peeling this soon after multiple appointments is really disappointing. I can't say whether the issue is the products, prep, or application process, but after experiencing it more than once, I don't feel confident in the longevity of the service.

I have been well treated everytime I come in. I do RECOMMEND THIS SALON. It is also the only salon I have been to since I moved here that gives a punch card! VERY COOL! Before coming here I was a nail dipper. I found a color at a closer salon that was perfect. I dumped the extensions to make it simple. But the price was $12 more than I ever paid in WA State. I couldn't afford that kind of cost every 2-3 weeks! Seriously, to this minute, I don't understand why dipping the bare nail to get a smooth coat is now overpriced Then I want to leave a tip and feel embarrassed when I can't! I can't repeat this every 2 weeks! TWICE for feet and hands! Hey! Isn't every one here retired? Doing acrylic nails that bring length and shape is truly an artisan craft that takes training, talent, knowledge and time. When dipping was introduced it was SO SIMPLE, I was amazed. So, Shouldn't a person on a budget get a choice to lower a price at least by the amount of trouble it takes to put on? There is far less craft to dip a nail, no extension to place and no real artistry to knocking off the excess. At Volez Vous, I was reasonably charged, plus I got a punch card. Now I can give a tip, have my nails and not feel ripped off by the kind of greed that says, "I charge that much because I can, and people just pay it! If the people who can't, life is tough!" Thanks V V I am truly grateful. It is strange that here is only one review that is less than 7 years old on this sight. I think the tech that is there is the owner and he is a character! Give him some grace and go try his expertise in nails. He uses only a gel on my nails and I swear it takes a powerful tool to get that stuff off! It stays well and my nails grow out! Honestly, the worst nail experience me and my friend went in to get our nails done During my…read moreappointment, the product they were using burned my hand and caused a wound. Even after I was hurt, they continued spraying alcohol directly onto the wound, which was extremely painful and uncomfortable. Both my friend and I also had our fingers cut during our appointments. On top of that, they did not put a topcoat on my nails. I asked for one, but they refused to put it on, so I had to leave the salon and go home to apply my own topcoat. We went in expecting to have a good experience and leave happy with our homecoming nails, but unfortunately that was not the case. The combination of being cut, having my hand burned by the product, having alcohol sprayed onto the wound, and then not having a topcoat applied made this a very disappointing experience. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and makes sure customers are treated with more care and attention in the future.

I really wanted to like this salon, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing from the…read moremoment I walked in. The salon was practically empty there were only 2-3 customers being serviced. Since it's a newer salon, I assumed they accepted walk-ins. I told the receptionist three separate times which services I wanted, and her first response was, "Did you make an appointment?" I said no and asked if one was required. She replied, "Yeah, actually we're really busy." I looked around and could clearly see nail technicians without clients. She then had me sign in at a kiosk and select my own services. As a first-time customer, I had no idea which options to choose, and instead of helping, she left me to figure it out myself. Ironically, the moment I finished signing in, she immediately took me back for my full set so apparently they weren't too busy after all. I requested a kids manicure and gel pedicure for my 5-year-old daughter, along with a full set and pedicure for myself. During my daughter's manicure, the technician added glitter without asking my permission. Normally that wouldn't bother me, but it's frustrating when extra services are added for a 5-year-old who changes her mind every five seconds. Then, during her pedicure, I clearly requested one color for both her nails and toes. While I was getting my nails done, I noticed two different employees starting and stopping her pedicure. After about 20 minutes, they finally finished painting her toes but they were red and blue. No one asked me if that was okay, even though I had specifically requested one color. Now for my full set... The nail technician started filing with the e-file, and it was incredibly painful. She filed so aggressively around my cuticles that they were torn up and bleeding before she even started trimming them. When she applied the dehydrator, my fingers immediately felt like they were on fire. The burning sensation was so intense it traveled from my fingertips up my arm. I've had acrylic nails many times before, and I have never experienced pain like that. To make matters worse, the finished nails were uneven. Nearly every nail is a different length and shape. As I'm writing this review the next day, my fingertips are still sore. By that point, after everything that happened with my daughter's services and the painful full set, I decided to skip my own pedicure altogether. I didn't trust that I would have a better experience, and I wasn't about to risk having my toes hurting on top of my fingers. Overall, this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I've had. Between the poor customer service, lack of communication, unauthorized add-ons, inconsistent work, and the physical pain I experienced, I can't recommend this salon. I hope they improve their customer service, communication, and technique because no one should leave a nail "appointment" still in pain the following day.
