My mom has been getting peels for years (different type) and recommended this spa. She's seen great results. I scheduled a skin peel here with Theresa a few days ago. She was very friendly, explained what was going to happen (my first time) and offered me an excellent "black Friday" deal. Not really knowing what to expect, I'm not sure the peel worked as I had hoped. I'm 72 hours out and my skin is dry and a bit flakey but I see no major change. The process was quick and painless. Over in less than 30. Nothing fancy, very medical which is what you'd expect here. I have been using the kit you're required to purchase for after care. It includes face wash, sun screen, collagen hydrator, rebalance and a CliniCalm (for irritation or itchy) if needed. I will give it a few more days but I think facials are the way to go, at least for my skin. read more

Then they stick the tip machine where you have no choice but to tip them as they stare at you your tip out of 1,000 $2,000 is a few hundred dollars that's insane . It's been nearly a year since my first visit and I have gone back three times between then and now for my treatment. I wanted to wait to update my initial review until I was a lot further along in the process. I still have 1 follow up treatment to do. Teresa is heaven sent and I'm so lucky to have found her (through Yelp once again!). She is incredibly skilled, talented, and knowledgeable in her craft and genuinely cares for all of her clients. She is the kind of person that won't do something if you will leave unhappy. Her clients' happiness is of the utmost importance and is something you will walk away knowing. Her office has a Facebook page and many of the before and after corrections of clients can be found there if you want to look for research. I went to forever young aesthetics for micro-needling with PRP and did not receive that service, but I received micro-channeling with plasma spread all over my face and ended up with two bruises one on my eye and one on my chin. I was new to this type of service and feel I was very much taken advantage of. When I went back two weeks later to show them my results and said I didn't see much difference their was nothing done. I will never go back and tell everyone I know at the resort to never go there. read more

Just got my third laser tattoo removal treatment in an attempt to remove the overly dark ink that was unnecessarily implanted into skin. My brows are still not faded enough to begin the correction process. :( So far, fixing this mess has cost an additional $375 on top of the almost $400 I paid Theresa Baldwin, who in my opinion worsened my situation. This is also the opinion of two permanent makeup artists and a laser removal technician. I sure hope she does not do this to anyone else's face. read more

I went in for a consultation, and sat uncomfortably on the table while Teresa talked and talked for 40 minutes. She talked about all her theories on COVID and many skin procedures I wasn't interested in. She told me multiple times how bad Lavenders Day Spa was, saying how Forever Young does a much better job. Honestly, I was willing to chalk it up to her being a chatterbox and let it go as an annoying experience. She booked me while I was in the office for a facial with someone else. I waited three weeks for my appointment and showed up to find out she never put it on their books. What a complete waste of my time! Such a discouraging experience. Five weeks invested in getting a consultation and facial for nothing. Interestingly, I have been to Lavender's many times over the last 8 years and have never had a bad experience. Came here for a Botox consult. The nurse was super friendly and seems knowledgeable and honest. I ended up going ahead with the prescribed 20 units between my eyebrows. She told me what to expect and it was very accurate. Not painful, I could feel a bit of a pinch and some crunchy feeling. I have noticed that my normal 11's between my eyes are more relaxed. It was not cheap. I can't remember the exact amount, but it was just over $200 for the 20 units. I plan to go back again. read more

So many people compliment my lashes. I have had lash extensions since Feb of this year. I went and had a new fresh set applied last month. She has great attention to detail and is a professional perfectionist. I absolutely love my lashes now more than I ever had. My makeup routine is quick and simple because I can simply go light and not worry about eyeliners and mascaras. They last several weeks too! I got my eyelash extensions here by Theresa. She is an excellent aesthetician, very educational as she spent 30 min on the phone explaining the process to me and answering my questions. The place is in the Moda Solons building suitr 107 but don't be surprised its not a suite really just a small room. When I went in she explained everything as she was doing it an is a really great person, great conversation. She made it all relaxing and I didn't feel a thing. New to this area and needed to find hair removal, discovered FYA and Amber by accident, but so glad I did. Everyone is so nice and everything is clean and welcoming. Amber is new but she is amazing at what she does, I have been getting a Brazilian for 7 years and all trouble I have had during that time I felt I was done and looking for laser, but Amber proved the wax was not the problem, it was the service. Immediately I noticed a very different result, I had very little to no ingrown hairs, she told me what to do to heal my skin from the butchering it had gone through prior to finding Amber and the treatment was something simple that no one had ever mentioned before. I have now seen Amber many times and I am still just as happy, my skin feels better. I liked my experience so much that now Amber waxes my teen girls too. read more

I literally never use yelp, but I am so disappointed with my facial. I paid $100 this morning for a facial with dermaplain and all they did during my facial was the dermaplain. They did one other hydrating lotion on my face and that was IT!!! I paid $100 for a less then 30 minute facial. I am so disappointed and feel like I completely got ripped off. I tried this place for a peel. I tried the "gentle" one after discussion with them. My face felt good the next day but after that it really made no difference on my skin. They sell a kit to take care of your skin after the peel. That was a rip off. I did not need it as the peel made no difference. A regular facial might have had more impact.
