The nail tech, Ruby, forgot the color I chose and painted them the wrong color. Because I was rushing to another appointment, she told me to come back the very next day and she would fix it. When I called to schedule the correction, Ruby wasn't there, so I made an appointment for 9:00 AM the following morning. Today, I arrived on time and waited over 30 minutes because she was late. During that time, the owner/manager came over, looked at my toes, took photos, and explained they had already been having issues with Ruby. Because I had already been inconvenienced by having to return for a mistake that was not mine, take additional time away from work, and then wait over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment, I asked the owner if acrylic could be added to my big toenails at no charge as a gesture of goodwill for everything I had been put through. The owner agreed and instructed Ruby to do it. That is when the situation escalated. Instead of accepting the owner's decision and taking accountability for the original mistake, Ruby became argumentative and confrontational with me. At that point, my frustration was no longer about the color itself. It was about the repeated inconvenience, lack of professionalism, being late to a scheduled appointment, and being met with resistance and excuses rather than a sincere effort to correct the situation. The issue could have been resolved professionally, but Ruby's attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility turned a simple correction into an unnecessarily negative experience. I also want to be fair in my review. I previously had my fingernails done by Austin, and I will absolutely give credit where it is due his nail work is beautiful, and I was always happy with the quality of his services. However, I did have an experience where I felt he was unnecessarily rude to both my mother and me, and that interaction ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can acknowledge the quality of his work, customer service and professionalism are equally important to me as a paying customer.( Fortunate for me I do have this whole encounter voice recorded so that I was able to go back ACCURATELY create this HORRIBLE review! ) The salon itself is clean, well-maintained, and organized. The workstations, floors, and overall appearance of the shop were consistently kept neat during my visits. Cleanliness was never an issue, and I appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a professional environment for customers. Stylist Review for Ruby: Ruby was the original technician who did my pedicure and unfortunately my experience with her was disappointing. She painted my toes SUPER SLOPPY the wrong color after I had clearly selected a different one and asked me to come back the next day to correct her mistake. SHE Never showed up the day she told me to come in to correct her mistake . When I returned for my scheduled appointment, she arrived over 30 minutes late. What was most frustrating was that instead of taking accountability for the inconvenience and mistake, she became argumentative when the situation was being addressed. Everyone makes mistakes, but professionalism is measured by how those mistakes are handled, and unfortunately that was lacking during my experience. Review for the Owner/Manager: I appreciate that the owner ultimately tried to make the situation right. At first, there seemed to be some hesitation when I requested acrylic on my big toes as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience of having to return, missing work time, and waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time. However, after reviewing the situation and recognizing everything that had occurred, the owner reconsidered and approved the request. While the experience should never have reached that point, I do appreciate that management eventually listened to my concerns and attempted to provide a reasonable resolution. Review for Austin: Austin is very talented when it comes to nails, and I want to give him full credit for the quality of his work. My fingernails always looked great, and I was consistently happy with the results. Unfortunately, I had an experience where I felt he was rude and dismissive toward both my mother and me, which ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can't fault his skills as a nail technician, customer service is just as important as the service itself. If professionalism and communication had matched the quality of his work, I would likely still be a client today.

When we reached out to understand what happened and see if there was a solution, management was harsh and defensive. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience, I was left feeling like I was the problem for trying to resolve a scheduling issue that wasn't my fault. I completely understand that this was a free promotional service, but that doesn't mean a customer's time has no value. If a business chooses to offer complimentary services for training, they should honor confirmed appointments or at the very least handle cancellations professionally and with empathy. Simply dismissing the situation because "it was free anyway" is not good customer service. The issue was never that the service was free it was that a confirmed appointment was canceled after I had planned my day around it, and the situation was handled poorly. If the business wasn't prepared to honor these appointments, they shouldn't have offered them in the first place.

My original esthetician was great overall, but she accidentally missed a very small section on one side during my Brazilian. Mistakes happen, so I called and was told coming back to fix it would be complimentary. When I returned, a different esthetician saw me. The fix literally took maybe 3 minutes total, but instead of simply correcting the issue, she insisted the hair was still there because that area "isn't included" in a Brazilian service. I've been getting Brazilians for over 12 years and have never once had that tiny section intentionally left untouched..... just on ONE SIDE MIND YOU...so the explanation honestly felt dismissive and gaslighting....actually it didn't feel that way. It WAS that way. What made the experience worse was that after fixing maybe 10 hairs, she tried charging me $25 for a "touch-up" that was clearly correcting an honest mistake from the original appointment. The employee I saw around 1 PM on Saturday the 23rd of May seriously needs better customer service training. Customers come back when businesses handle small issues professionally and respectfully -- not when they're made to feel like they're wrong for pointing out a missed spot. Really disappointing experience this time. Train your employees how to handle this better and take accountability.

Their business is called Hair Revival with three main hair stylists. They have a website/Facebook/Instagram too so I definitely would recommend to check their social media platforms for their work! I've been going to Kim Slater for a few years now. My mom especially because she has short colored hair. She does an amazing job with hair too. She definitely knows her stuff too. I do very minimal with my hair but lately I've been getting into volumizing hair. Kim taught me how curl my hair and demonstrated the right products for my hair products. She cuts and colors my hair for a fair price (she does wedding and other events as well!) My hair is super thin because it's asian hair and I think she know what's she doing. I went from pitch black hair to super blonde before with Kim. Love every session I have with her. Kim is a super sweetheart too! She also makes me feel very confident and comfortable with her. With my last visit I had a hair trim with some styling it to my shoulders ($36) and with caramel brown balayage ($130). I love it!

She listens every time to what my concerns may be and always has recommendations for styling as well as products. Jess is the only one to bring color and scissors near my head as well as my daughters. We love Jessie and will always be a return client!
