After dealing with mild/moderate acne for quite some time, I can say I've pretty much tried it all. From everything the drugstores have to offer, to acne.org, oral antibiotics, topicals, different diets, tazorac, and a bunch of different "at home remedies". All of these products only made my skin a complete mess. I was inflamed, congested, red, and very very self conscious. When I about had enough, my dermatologist told me "there's nothing left but accutane". There was no way I was going to go that route so I was left with no hope, especially if those "medical professionals" looked me in the eyes and said there's just no cure. Everyday people would ask me about my skin and how bumpy it was. I lost all confidence and felt like I had to have a mask of makeup on every second. BUT then a friend of mine recommended Andreea. She was convinced she would help me and get me back where I need to be. I never even considered facials as a solution to my acne. At my first appointment, I agreed to stop all of my acne products, and let her local and nature based products work their magic. Skin Skript is amazing and she recommends the products best for MY skin. I can't even express how much of a blessing this has been for me. People tell me all the time how impressed they are with my skin now and I can't stop recommending people to her. And once they see for themselves they understand my joy! He also was intentional about the products he recommended for my concerns while not pushing me to change my whole skin care routine which I greatly appreciated (a common experience I've had at other places). I booked the appointment, received a confirmation text, and planned my entire day around it. The appointment was then canceled on their end. When we reached out to understand what happened and see if there was a solution, management was harsh and defensive. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience, I was left feeling like I was the problem for trying to resolve a scheduling issue that wasn't my fault. I completely understand that this was a free promotional service, but that doesn't mean a customer's time has no value. If a business chooses to offer complimentary services for training, they should honor confirmed appointments or at the very least handle cancellations professionally and with empathy. Simply dismissing the situation because "it was free anyway" is not good customer service. The issue was never that the service was free it was that a confirmed appointment was canceled after I had planned my day around it, and the situation was handled poorly. If the business wasn't prepared to honor these appointments, they shouldn't have offered them in the first place.

My original esthetician was great overall, but she accidentally missed a very small section on one side during my Brazilian. Mistakes happen, so I called and was told coming back to fix it would be complimentary. When I returned, a different esthetician saw me. The fix literally took maybe 3 minutes total, but instead of simply correcting the issue, she insisted the hair was still there because that area "isn't included" in a Brazilian service. I've been getting Brazilians for over 12 years and have never once had that tiny section intentionally left untouched..... just on ONE SIDE MIND YOU...so the explanation honestly felt dismissive and gaslighting....actually it didn't feel that way. It WAS that way. What made the experience worse was that after fixing maybe 10 hairs, she tried charging me $25 for a "touch-up" that was clearly correcting an honest mistake from the original appointment. The employee I saw around 1 PM on Saturday the 23rd of May seriously needs better customer service training. Customers come back when businesses handle small issues professionally and respectfully -- not when they're made to feel like they're wrong for pointing out a missed spot. Really disappointing experience this time. Train your employees how to handle this better and take accountability.
