First visit so I was a bit confused about how to get to the correct suite in the complex. I just parked and entered then the signs helped. This is a single owner/operator space. Pudge was excellent about listening to my specific cut requests and did an excellent job. I liked it that she didn't argue with my requests and that she didn't wash my hair. Too many times my hair is washed and then it has to be dried to an artificial "straight" hang which messes with the way my hair naturally hangs. I have been very happy with the cut from last month and can't wait for another cut and fresh color next month. I only let her take off an inch the first time in case I wasn't happy. 2-3 inches off in December!! Yay!! read more

I had intended to make an appointment a year ago but just never did. I have been growing my hair out for about 10 months, about three weeks ago I went to a hair salon to get layers. Needless to say not everyone is good at flawless layers. I have been wearing my hair up because I was embarrassed of my hair. I went to see paige several times and thought she did a great job on my hair. I was not thrilled with the small space and having so many clients in at one time but I thought the quality of service was worth the annoyance. Until what came to be my final visit. When she was done she must have noticed the confused look on my face and she said oh yeah I tried a different color on you today. WHAT! Isn't that something we should have discussed? UPDATE: This morning I received a message from a complete stranger asking me to please consider taking down my review or editing a photo. I actually felt bad and told her I would. I go on the page to see that "Mike" aka Paige posted a review calling me a troll and saying that I wanted a hand out. Please, as a last ditch effort Paige did offer a full refund which I refused. I don't care about the $120, At this point I want to move on but her harassment doesn't stop. She isn't sorry at all. And is digging herself deeper. Thanks for the confirmation. I wasn't going to leave a review but I think Paige earned one. Rough start to even get in to see her. Called for two weeks, left 3 messages, probably called about 10-12 times. No response. Emailed, no response. Then some one left a one star review and she thought it was me so she texted me and said that she was sorry but had an emergency. I'm assuming her emergency lasted 2 weeks? Needless to say she seemed cool, offered to see me and take me. I met her and we did a color consult. She was sweet, bubbly, upbeat and made me feel good about seeing her. She took the time to explain what she thought was best for my hair. She seemed great! I went in August 7th 2017 at 10:30 am and we did some color and a trim. It wasn't what I envisioned but the brown color she chose was lovely! After the first day I noticed a very small amount of orange in the front of my bangs. No biggie. My hair is dark and tends to pull orange at times. I messaged her; told her I was flying out of the country but asked if I could come back for a quick fix and maybe throw some brown on top instead. Then the next day on the way to the airport I noticed my bangs were really green too. I thought it was the lighting but it looked green like I had put green in it on purpose and it had washed out. I messaged her again because I thought it was strange and wanted to show her. Never once did I blame her, I figured my dark hair was reacting funny. I told her I would message her when I got back. I got back and messaged her, took her a few days to reply. No big deal right? She mentioned having issues with messages etc. but this time she was being incredibly rude, interrogating me and asking me what I did to cause this, calling me a liar, accusing me of having toned my hair myself. I was shocked and trying to enjoy the eclipse at our local library. Her messages were so rude I was shaking and became upset and cried. I assumed it was going to be an easy fix to come in and out but then she accuses me of bad mouthing her to people which is completely untrue. Her work was good, I thought, her behavior towards me was disgusting. She lashed out at me and said I was a "hair phenomenon" and that hair doesn't tone itself. Then said I was telling her two different stories, and which one was it?! When I told her I was upset and crying and I apologized if I hurt her feelings she basically told me that I was joke! Telling me that me crying was a joke. She then threw very personal things that I disclosed to her in my face saying that I was going to see a physical therapist at the expense of an elderly man that hit me. That was personal and also untrue. It's called insurance honey, look it up. She had ZERO compassion, and sent low blows. It's not even about the hair. It's about how she treated me. Saying I've been through multiple hairstylist this year, that's a complete LIE. I've used one person since I moved back to Arizona TWO years ago but she is far and I was looking for some one who was local. I genuinely thought it was just a miscommunication and initially really liked Paige but her low blows and behavior is insane. I wanted to go down that street too and say some pretty hurtful things but I chose not to. Hair: 3 stars, customer service: ZERO. If you choose to use her, do not tell her anything cause she tucks it away and uses it as ammo against you if anything goes wrong. God forbid hair react a certain way to color or it be her fault (which no one said it was) but she seems to think so. I will attach screen shots of her response and pictures of my hair. You be the judge. I've never been treated like this in my life. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a legit compassionate caring person and I do not lie to take advantage of people. For her to react this way and treat me like dirt was unacceptable. Never will I go back and after the way she talked to me. At this point anything she says in response will only further support her behavior. She's delusional if she thinks she handled it well. Low blowing is not what I would consider professional. I have blocked her from texts; I spent the entire eclipse responding and apologizing to her accusations. Never will I go back. Never would I trust anyone to disclose personal information to her. I feel sorry for her that she has to tear people down to make herself feel better, she really doesn't need to be that way. A little compassion and kindness goes a long way. read more

I didnt think someone could be as wonderful and glowing as all of these reviews make her out to be. I almost went in to my first appointment looking for something "wrong" with her. Nope. Shes as good with hair as sge is kind and friendly. She knows the latest trends, doesnt take forever, is very inexpensive ($26 For the first cut!) I went to her because i had just gone to a different older lady who gave me an old school outdated hair cut. Yuck. Less than 10 minutes and Paige had added beautiful layers and made me look amazing. Just moved here and have found my new stylist! I came with my 2 kids and she seemed delighted they were there. I also locked my baby in the car and she came out and helped me and acted like a sister or mom would have! I told her I could reschedule since i was eating up my app. Time. She said, "you stop that!" Paige's talents are insane! Not a skillset easy to find on this side of town (or outside of a major city, period). I am super high maintenance when it comes to my color and hair needs and not only did she come in to my first appointment with a confident plan, she had such a "challenge accepted" attitude that I can't even wait to return. SO refreshing after being told by others they were too scared to try or didn't know where to start. She is incredibly knowledgeable about cuts, color, and needs for special hair types (like my silver-platinum, over processed hair). She forgot to cut my bangs, and when I pointed out the frizz on the top of my head, she used some type of hair spray - just made the frizz stay in place, didn't get rid of it. Paige assured me when I made my appt. that shehad started using very natural products. So when I got there, someone was sitting waiting for her color to take - an unpleasant smell in her small room, and afterwards she told me none of her products she used were natural. I hadn't even thought to ask again in person. She even defended her chemicals saying a little chemical wouldn't hurt anyone. An hour later my scalp started to burn from whatever products she used. And during my hair cut, she proceeded to chat with the lady sitting with tin foil in her hair about obscene topics. Very offensive. Won't be back. read more
