Monday I get a phone call maybe 10 minutes into my appointment time and I asked "Did you check your voicemail?" Then I was informed with an attitude that they do not work on Sundays. I am sorry that the universe allows emergencies to occur between Sundays and Mondays. Life happens! Then after I hang up they had the audacity to send me an invoice for $50 that WILL not be paid. Even prior to my 1st appointment I had to "pre-pay" which I have never done, not even at high end salons. I can understand if I was a "repeat offender" but just like attorneys, dentists and doctors there are salons everywhere. What a way to keep your client base!!! I do not even do this if a patient does not show up for an appointment at my office. Again, consider the situation?? They didn't ask about the situation it was all about the money. If a repeat offender of course I get it but things happen in life that take more important precedence than a haircut appointment. So if you are new and want to have to pre-pay for your service before even walking thru the door or EVER have an emergency 24 hours prior to your appointment DO NOT GO HERE-find a better salon!!!!!!!!!!

They did not disappoint. First I had a salt scrub followed by a massage with a scalp treatment. John was very professional and good at his trade. After the fabulous massage I was taken to the room next door with zero gravity recliners. Such a nice relaxing room. Then I changed into my swimsuit and sat in the jacuzzi. Then swam laps in the lap pool. Then a shower, with all the vitals included (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). They also have a lot of toiletries such as shower caps, tampons, toothbrushes, hair ties, razors etc). I sat in a quiet meditation room awaiting my facial. Haven was very good and the room so comfy. I would highly recommend for any special occasion or to treat yourself. You can also order lunch by the pool, but I didn't. You can spend the whole day relaxing when you sign up for a service there. The spa isn't worth the cost nor time, and I left feeling ignored, tense, and unrelaxed. Utterly disappointed. The masseuse staff *almost* make up for the dismissive front end. Communicative, responsive, and remarkably skilled in the mudwrap and massage combination. Told us what to expect, where to find soaps to remove the mud, and they paid attention to muscle responses when it got deep. Kudos to the massage team.

The haircut offerings say a shampoo and cut. I don't need a shampoo, so would appreciate a more affordable cut. So, I don't want to shame anyone, so I will simply say the lady that seems in charge did several things that just didn't seem right. First, I had a free haircut card that is stamped with every haircut. There was another stylist's name on it, so she rolled them over to another card with her name on it. Okay, fine. The next time I scheduled, I requested her. Upon arrival, I found that she was getting her hair cut by another stylist during my scheduled time. How rude! I was then assigned a brand new stylist who at least could have used some direction from my scheduled stylist that was getting her hair cut. I was not happy with being stood up for a scheduled appointment. Last, your POS machines default to a minimum of a 30% tip. That is kind of surprising if your not expecting it. In the end, it's a $40.00 visit for a simple men's haircut. I tried Fantastic Sam's because they were convenient, but there are some things that are more important. You will not see me again.
