I've been coming here for quite some time and I thoroughly understand when you lose technicians, however, time is valuable that's why you make appointments, I truly do not have time to spare and the last couple of times I have been here I have had to wait 20 to 40 minutes for my "scheduled" appointment. Not to mention this last time, my nails look terrible. The two people I have been going to for several months are no longer there. I feel like if you own a nail shop all of your technicians should know how to do nails and pedicures. It should be standard, especially with the business like that. Looks like I'm finding a new nail place. read more

This is cool! First time getting a pedicure on top of that I got a massage definitely coming back again

My first time stopping in and I wasn't disappointed. The service was quick and efficient. My artist was a younger man wish I remembered his name he was HILARIOUS! I felt like I was talking with one of my good girlfriends and really enjoyed his convo. I was originally doing a French tip, but I loved the color so much I stuck with it. My toes came out perfect and the flower design is beautiful. Thanks for the great service! read more

Saguaro Nails & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

This was my first visit to Saguaro, I absolutely love my nails, the attention to detail was great and it was so nice to have someone listen to what you want! It was a bit pricey in my opinion, but... walking out thrilled means so much and I'll pay for that if it's consistent (I'll need to come back and update because I fail the recall the name of the gal that did my nails and pedicure) I encourage you to walk in with a vision or photo of ideas for your nails and share it! My bet is someone there can do it! I also had a pedicure, which was a nice one. It was not the best I've had but very enjoyable. I realize all people have their own style and preference... I liked that she asked me if the pressure was good and she wanted to have it nice for me. There is a beverage bar (non alcoholic) with sodas, slushes and?? Available. I did ask twice for a Coke and no one seemed to hear or respond... It was a pleasant facility and although big, not necessarily over whelming with noise and chatter. Very enjoyable and I'll be back! I encourage you to give them a try! read more

Very affordable pedicure. Nail tech was very kind and had great chat back and forth. Salon was very clean and had a great aesthetic vibe. Great customer service with being me a walk in read more

I always love coming to Saguaro to feel spoiled! Nathan does an amazing job and everyone is so kind and attentive.

Im never one to leave a review, but this place is hands down the worst nail salon. Came in for pedicure & full new set. Pedicure was ok. Nails though horrible. The girl doing my nails , i think her name was sonia, didnt even attach the acrylic nails to my natural nails. When i had pointed it out she tried convincing me that my nail beds are "curved" . When ive gotten my nails done countless times and no one has ever said this to me. Then had the AUDACITY to take nail glue and pour it between my nails and onto my skin. AS IF THAT WOULD FIX THE GAPPING. Who does that. When i told her no thats insane & that i dont want her to continue because im not having glue poured on my skin like that she started talking shit in a different language with the other nail artists and laughing loudly. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I SEEN SUCH RUDE PEOPLE. The manager tried convincing me to let them redo them but even he saw they were bad. I had another nail salon do my nails and even they were shocked by what they were seeing. Thankfully they fixed them and gave me exactly what i wanted. Never will step foot in this salon again. read more

I am incredibly disappointed with the service at this salon and will not be returning. I have been a loyal customer here for nearly two years, but my time and business are clearly no longer valued.Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident; unreasonable delays keep happening here. I have been extremely patient with this establishment in the past, but today was the final straw. I made an appointment a week in advance, yet I sat waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes past my scheduled time. When I finally checked on the status, I was told it would be at least another 15 minutes minimum. When I brought up the delay, I was simply told they were short-staffed. To make matters worse, I was informed that no one on-site knew how to execute a simple flower design. After two years of patronage, I expect better communication and basic technical competence. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

What a terrible experience I had today and management doesn't even seem to care about it! I had an appointment with "Kate" who I, and my wife and have used since Gabby left. I had an appointment and I when I got there I was told by the receptionist, "she's just finishing up and will be with you in 15 minutes! Well, 35 minutes after I arrived I was taken back to the chair for my "pedi" and from the start, it just seemed like she really didn't care and 15 minutes later she was done! What a rush, not relaxing and this was a birthday present from my wife! Then she said "thank you " and I said what about my manicure? She directed me to sit in the chair at the table and then began to "chat" with her co-worker next to her (nothing bothers me more then this!) and didn't say one word to me while she again, rushed through my manicure! Afterwords I asked to see a manager and that also was useless, she offered me a "gift card" for $10, what an insult that was! I doubt that I'll return and only wish I knew where Gabby went, because this shop couldn't care less about an upset customer, especially on his birthday!!! read more

I went in to get my nails and toes done on January 30th and requested a soak off but I'm guessing they don't do those. They used a tool to shave the gel polish off of my toes. While getting them done it did burn a little but I figured he just cut it a little short or something(getting my nails done at the same time so it was hard to pay attention to both). Left happy but a little sore... I ended up seeing discoloration under the polish and started to pick at it and saw red!! I took off my freshly painted toe nails and finally went to urgent care and the doctors said no fungus but they were definitely way too rough and caused damaged:( so sad read more

Saguaro Nails & Spa - My poor nails... they are pretty thin now too - Nail Salons Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

If you're pretty you better not go to this nail salon. The owner John so nice and has very good service! But his wife will sit and watch you getting your nails done and talk shit the entire time about you thinking you don't understand. She is so insecure it's very uncomfortable , she will make smart comments about you going there over and over again! She literally asked me why I keep going back and why I can't find something closer to my house lol literally telling me leave but I never really cared because you know haters will hate! I just can't believe someone can be this rude and have such low self esteem, she fought with the husband many times in front of me every time he does my nails, until one time he said I can't do it for you anymore, taught a new guy to do them for me, because I like my nails long. Then the guy quits, I make an appointment today with him guess what? he's magically not there, I go she makes me wait half an hour for a pedi when I have an appointment and let the walk ins take the available pedi techs thinking that I didn't see what was happening. Hate will eat you alive, must be so hard lol. Anyway if you're cute, tall, or pretty or you have a nice body you will get the short end of the stick in the salon. What's all I can say. Good luck! I rather spend my headends on places who have respect for me! read more

I've been going to Saguaro Nails & Spa for about a year. I see Trish and she has always done great work on my pedicures. I'm not very kind to my feet. I walk barefoot a lot and have a tile floor in my home. I'm trying to be better about wearing socks and slippers, but I'm so glad Trish is great at removing calluses. She is so nice, great to talk to, and really listens to your concerns and answers your questions. I'm very fortunate to have found this nail salon. The front desk staff is always nice and welcoming and the salon is clean, organized, and so chic. I also like that you can schedule your appointment on their website. So easy! I will always go to this nail salon as long as Trish is there. She's the best nail technician I've ever seen. read more

Loooooove this place!!! First time here and thank god me and my mom made an appointment because it was packed as soon as they opened! Stopped by and asked for a walk-in pedicure. It was Saturday so I wasn't surprised that it was a long wait. The man working the front desk suggested I try another day and make an appointment. Totally understandable! So, a few weeks later I made an appointment for a pedicure and went in. My appointment time was 11am. I, admittedly, was about 10min late. No problem, so about 11:20 or so I was taken back. Immediately what sticks out about this place is the customer service. From on the phone, to the front desk, to the techs. It was so refreshing compared to local salons these days!! However, I'm still not sure I will return. Why? Well, the pedicure I received just wasn't that great above others I've received. The massage- fantastic- they set timers so you know you get the full promised time. The polish application? Eh, so-so, for the price I paid. Nail services are a luxury service, they aren't cheap. So I don't expect to leave with a cheap application. So what's more important? The experience while you're in the chair or the product you leave the salon with? I'm in between on this one! read more

Came into business a month prior to appointment, and was quoted $20 total for a simple nail design (just polish, not gel, on natural nails). Arrive on day of appointment (they never scheduled the appointment apparently so I am waiting for a bit) and they tell me that they can only do it with gel polish, and they don't tell me a price (my fault for not asking). The gal starts painting my nails and it looks WAY worse than the pic I'm providing so we change to an EVEN SIMPLER design. I ask multiple times for a solid color base so you can't see the white part of the nail by the cuticle. They keep refusing just put more and mor clear coat that has a pink-ish hue. Finally after all of this is done they tell me my total is $50! What a scam!! This operation is misleading and unhelpful in every way possible. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! read more

Nathan is incredible! He pays attention to detail super well and takes his time to ensure perfection. Will definitely be coming back.

I was really excited when they opened a Saguaro location here because I didn't want to keep driving all the way to Westgate. Since I live nearby, I started coming here--but I never get what I ask for. I've tried multiple nail techs, and they never seem to get it right. I always ask for a deep French tip, and even after explaining it multiple times, they don't listen. I came in for a fill and somehow ended up paying more than I did for a full set, even though I got the same style--just a different color. The place itself is beautiful, but the quality of work is disappointing. At this point, I'd rather drive back to Westgate to get decent results than keep wasting money here. read more

The salon itself is nice. There are ample pedicure stations and manicure stations; and the place seemed clean. Everyone working there was very nice and friendly too. The pedicure I received, however, was VERY disappointing. I went with a friend of mine and we got the same $30 pedicure package. Our pedicures started at the same time, but mine was finished a good 15 minutes before my friend's pedicure. The woman I had tried to uncharge me with additional services. My friend didn't get solicited that way and she hadn't had a pedicure in over 3 months; whereas I had one somewhere else 2 weeks prior. One of the suggested services was a 'callous remover'. First off, I don't have callouses. Second, she didn't even touch the bottom of my right foot...so what good would a callouses remover have done? She also didn't properly remove the color from my previous pedicure. So now my nails have a darker ring around the nail from my current color where the old color was. Also on my right foot, she completely missed the tip of one of my nails, so the toe looks like it chipped or missing color in one spot. My friends pedicure looked great. This woman who did my pedicure was not good, leaving me feel like I was ripped off. Update - After having the tires replaced, our car felt "off". After driving 100 miles, I couldn't stop the nagging feeling that something was wrong. Took my car someplace else and was told the tires weren't balanced correctly. I specifically asked about this when I purchased the tires at Firestone. Just another reason to AVOID this place! read more

Jason did my birthday nails so close to perfect He (along with all the other staff!) was so kind and always made sure I was comfortable and that none of the filing down hurt + checked in frequently to make sure I liked the design. The interior is chic and clean, and everyone's vibe was so lovely. The pricing is more than fair, as well! So happy to have found this place in AZ while visiting family, and will definitely be back!! (I've been previously, for winter nails, and they were also great. Added pictures of this set in my review, as well!) read more

Each time I have gone to this nail salon there is very minimal wait time which is nice. Now some of them are not so talkative or friendly but they do a great job . Every time I give them an inspo picture they nail it. This last time I went I had Lisa do my pedicure. Im not sure of the nail techs name. Lisa was amazing! She took care of my toes and was gentle while giving them a wonderful massage. They are always busy or steady but again, the longest I have waited was maybe 10 mins. They always have music playing as well. Very relaxing atmosphere read more

Been coming here for awhile and today was the most disappointing. Was told it would be 15-20 minutes for a pedi and waited for over an hour. They seated individuals that came in after me (no appts). Technician provided a massage while my nails were still wet (I think he completely forgot about it). So my feet didn't even get a massage. I brought this up when checking out and did receive $10 off the service. Undecided if I'll be back. read more

I had the most painful experience getting the gel X removed from my nails at the salon. The technician practically filed my nail off and snagged the side of my fingers continuously. It was so bad that the technician next to us tried to offer his help by recommending a softer file for her Dremel. She refused his recommendation and probably said something pretty nasty about the fact that I flinched three different times because it was so painful. I originally wanted her to give me a manicure. I ended up asking her just to stop after she was done removing the gel. I did not want that woman coming anywhere near me with clippers at this point. When I went to pay, I explained to the front desk person that this was the most painful experience and my nails looked and felt awful. All he had to say was "sorry" and told me it would be $15. I have never in my life, walked out of a nail salon and not tipped, but this time was different. There was no way in hell I was gonna give this salon any more of my money. I've come here several times because it's close to my home, to be honest , i've never walked out of there in love with my nails. This time it was painful! So I will never return and I highly recommend going to one of the other salons nearby. read more

So I work in the trades and need my nails done often. This was my first time coming to Saguaro Nails & Spa. I got what I always get... powder dipped French tip manicure. I came straight from work so my nails were wrecked. I prefer to pay $60 to have a professional clean and dip them than for me to dip them at home. At the end, I asked "hey can you clean my nails and cut my cuticles?..." they said it would be $6 then another guy said $10 extra. I was like... wait, what did I just agree to $60 for? I thought I was getting my nails done. This is my first time ever experiencing "getting my nails done" but not really getting them done. They just dipped my nails without cleaning them. Just dip and used the little drill to shave around... there is now dirt under the dip around my cuticles...lol. Umm... I came to this salon bc it's closer to my house than the other salon I typically go to that charges $55 to DO MY NAILS. Anyway, if you ask for French tips, or acrylics or powder dip which I thought all fall under a type of manicure... know that they won't clean them. Apparently a "manicure" is different from getting your nails dipped. I thought, THANK GOODNESS I washed my hands before he started... LOL bc coming from work, my hands were pretty dirty and all of that would've been under the powder dip. Go to Happy Nails and Spa off dysart in Avondale. Regardless of what you want done to your nails, they will give you a manicure all included in the price they tell you it'll cost for whatever you ask. They charge only $55 for a powder dipped French tip MANICURE. Lol I almost got a pedicure after my nails but I was like "WAIT... what is a pedicure here????!!" Bc clearly, it ain't what you might think it is. Clipping your nails may be extra with "getting your nails did" here. read more

Sad to say, this is why I stopped paying good money for mani pedis. I paid for the pedicure that had the callus removal. The place is new and clean. But I requested and made clear that I wanted all my toes and fingernails as short as possible and square and even, I even asked him to fix the one big toe because it was round,, it's still round. All nails are uneven. I still have hangnails and my cuticle are not pushed back or removed. I feel like I could have done a way better job, and I'm not good at it at all :( read more

The staff was incredibly friendly, however the older gentleman that did my gel set, did not do what I requested. I told him multiple times and showed the picture of a light pink French tip gel. FINALLY!! Picky girls, look no more. I have been doing my own nails for years, because I am a perfectionist and am SO PICKY. I almost always end up going home after a nail appointment and "fixing my nails". This past year my career has taken off and I simply don't have the time to do my own nails anymore. I have been searching for the perfect tech for months! Trying new places, reading reviews, it's been a journey. I always found that I either loved the tech but hated the vibe, or hated both. NOT HERE. My tech, Bea actually listened to what I wanted and came up with a solution to get me there. I keep my nails the same always.. and I finally feel like someone was able to do them the way I used to. It also helps that the salon is well designed (I'm an interior designer) and the staff was so welcoming and nice! I will absolutely be back. If you're a picky girl like me just book the appointment with Bea (hands) and Jenni (feet). You won't be disappointed. read more
