All of the workers there are family, I think, and they're always very warm and welcoming. December 29th I made it back for a mani and pedi. I've been to Angel before for pedicures and eyebrow wax. Life gets hectic and so many things take up time. Since getting my first gel manicure I've been consistent because it maintains my nails and I'm worth the self care. There's a salons minutes from me but the one person who did the pedi was not good. I'll go back there for a gel manicure if necessary. Kathy is great! But this review is about somewhere else. When I've gone previously, it was pre-pandemic and they stayed crowded. When I went the week before New Years I saw Angie and she did both my pedi and gel manicure. She is great! Not harsh/too rough and I appreciate that. My nails are still looking good. I'll certainly go back to her. It's pretty much the family working there. I like that they support each other. I wish them well and will take to 10-minute drive (longer if I miss the entrance lol) to enjoy a little pampering. Oh, the restroom is presentable and has soap. (Another salon further up Bell Rd I visited didn't have soap. Who does that? But I digress.) I love that they're close enough to home. read more

I was a walk-in for an SNS manicure and my fiancé had a mani and pedi done. His mani pedi was great and the prices are fair as well. They are also doing a great job setting up the salon for social distancing. I didn't give them a higher rating because my dip powder manicure was a bit sloppy, see pics. He rushed through and finished in about 30 minutes and didn't have me wash my hands or apply oil/lotion at the end. I pulled a bottle of lotion out of my purse and did it myself but there were still crusty parts on my hand from the filing, etc. read more

I would give this place one star if I had gone by myself but my niece had a pedicure as well and it came out pretty well so I'll give them another star. The young lady that did my nails did an extremely poor job. I paid for the VIP package and should have gotten the cheapest package they had. I try to give businesses an opportunity to make it right and showed her her my nails and how the my looked lumpy and the edges weren't even cleaned up. She globbed more nail polish on and made it worse. I eventually asked her to remove the polish and then took a closer look at my feet to find that the whole pedicure was trash. The man that I am assuming was the owner tried to redo them on my way out, however, we were already late for a previous arrangement. I appreciate the gesture, but at this point you are just continuing to inconvenience me and take up more of my time. The dad "John" is the man! I have horrible hands and nails - biting them 40 years will do that... This man had the ability for the first time in my life to put a full set on without - without hurting me once and more importantly when I went home there are not a one digging in the sides. Thought I give them a second chance for Pedicure, well got John again and my toes look like crap and he forgot to add Topcoat! If you come here and get "dipped" nails do not get them done with randy . He literally did the dips in like 5 minutes. They are all so bumpy and awful. My mother in laws are the same . WHe gave us 10% off his service and a half ass apology. Came here yesterday to try this place again but just for a pedicure and manicure. Pedicure was great and it said add manicure for $10. They convinced me to get gel and I was thinking gel would be maybe $5 more at most making the pedicure 15$ but I paid $27 for manicure. Also, my mother in law had them do her toes and manicure the same exact color but polish on toes gel on nails and it came out red for toes and fuchsia pink for nails. She asked what had happened and they blamed it on a bad batch of polish. Randy, the owner, gave her 10% off her next visit, she couldn't even use it this visit. I went here to get my nails done for a pool party I would be going to the next day. The wait wasnt long to get me into a chair. As soon as I sat down I waited half an hour in the chair until a person came to me. I had come with another person and her pedicure was almost done by the time I started. I got a gel pedicure and it took about another 45/50 minutes to get this done. I picked one of the specials that added on a manicure for $10. When I ended up paying after a little over 2 hours here the price had gone up for the manicure, even though I picked the package that had the manicure. Angel Nails is pretty decent, it's like any other standard Asian owned nail salon in any cookie cutter shopping center. I sometimes visit here for a pedicure with a friend, the wait time can vary without an appointment, sometimes a long wait and sometimes a few minutes. I wasn't too impressed with the gel manicure, it started peeling off a little over a week later. Not sure if it was the product they used or curing time. I've had many gel nails that have lasted nicely over 3+ weeks. The staff are nice. read more

He's good but if he tolerates this type of behavior, I'll look elsewhere! They had the nerve to give my scheduled appointment away to a walk in. Why schedule if you're going to have me drive as far as I did to give away my appointment to a walk in?! What makes it so bad is the receptionist told me " Well we got busy and Tony was available at the time so we gave your spot away" and had the nerve to tell me to come back 2 hours later. Absolutely in love with this place. I've had a hard time finding a good nail salon, that stays consistent. My first experience here was a pedicure with my mom and my girls. This place is the absolute worst!! I received a gift certificate for this place and I should of ran out of there! I got a man by the name of Don. He was extremely unsanitary and used his nails to dig in my nail bed to clean it! Gross! Then he used the same utensils he used on my feet!? Only after letting them soak in the wood square that was puddled with dirty water. After watching him for 10 minutes I knew he had no business doing nails. I wanted to run out but I was too ashamed to. I know... and it was too late to have someone else to do it! So I decided to come back the next day... only because their brochure says " Its guaranteed that your service will be the best quality available".... Worst mistake ever! Since the nail polish was chunky I requested to have it completely taken off. From my feet and hands. That was a quick no! The wanted to charge me for a polish change. Heck no. So then the mgr Joe was called and he said that he would do my toes but my manicure was in good condition..??? Ummmm.... so I said what happened to best quality? Then he was arguing with me and said... "You hands look good, no change! Feet bad... hands ok!". So the man who did a terrible job on my toes did a great job on my mani? Strange?! So I was not going to let that go. No way. I said... I'm not happy with the quality and I'm not happy with the service if you think this is good then you are dead wrong. I showed him his brochure and pointed to the best quality part/guarantee and so he started to yell. " Job good! Toes not ok! But I stand behind job on hands!". I said I highly doubt he was licensed to practice so if you don't mind I want a copy or a his license number he said "No! You don't complain unle you have blood, cut or infection!" "You have cut?!". I said I don't need to have a cut to report you. He also asked me to take a picture of my hands so if he did have to go to court he could defend himself with pictures. Of course I said No... anyway. I came in on a Saturday night and they took in my family of 4 right away! They did any amazing job on our toes for only $22! I decided to come back the next day on the Sunday morning to get a full gell set and I loved them! These nails only cost me $37 compared to other places I've been too which cost me $45+. I recommend if in the Surprise area all employees are very nice. I bite my nails so that's just my skin on index finger but they did an amazing job and they're my fav set that I've ever gotten! read more

I will never go back to this salon! I tried it for the first time on 3/24/22. I entered and they asked if I had an appointment and I said yes and sat down. They all speak English well and they never said a word to me and I waited for 1/2 hour before I was even approached. What good does a appointment even do? They seemed understaffed and no one seems to care whats going on and the owner standing in the back of the place talking on the phone. The overweight lady who started my pedicure was not friendly. I was so annoyed because she was on her phone 90% of the pedicure. Ive never experienced that before. In the middle of the pedicure I asked to use the restroom and she was very Irritated with me. I have been going to Angel Nails since they opened and had great experience for the first few years until about a years ago. I have several comments to make. First, the owners have become unappreciative of their employees and clients. The turn over is huge. Luckily I have a great person that takes great pride in his/her work. Secondly, and most disappointing is the fact that you make an appointment because you have time restraints.I have waited up to 30 to 40 minutes on most appointments. I think this is extremely RUDE and inconsiderate to both the employees and the clients. The employees can't control there appointments that owners set and don't communicate. That is poor management for their employees and clients. I even ask when making an appointment, "if I should call ahead to be sure the employee is on schedule", I am told, "no you don't have to do that, they will be on schedule". Figure out the concept of appointments. We are talking a nail salon not a doctors office where emergency situation arise. I feel bad more so for the employees because they are losing clients that they have worked so hard to keep. read more
