A beautiful welcoming small shop. I had an appointment at 3:30 pm to get my nails done for prom, I had arrived early and signed in. Within 2 minutes I had been sat down and the woman started working on my nails. I showed her what I had wanted and she got me the closest thing possible and I love them! She made sure I was comfortable and In no pain while she was doing them. I got a full set and only payed $45.00 (not including the tip). The pricing was super good. After tons of bad nail places, I definitely am making this my go to place. The only problem I had was, I didn't know my woman's name do to there were no name tags being worn. First and last time here. If you like no customer service, this place is for you. No one greets you as you enter. The place was empty, first clue to run. The massage I had was so painful, she was rubbing the top of my leg really hard-there's no muscle there! The pedi itself was terrible, polish is lumpy and she didn't cover all the nails. I always bring my own polish and this one was brand new, so no reason it should be lumpy. You air dry your feet, didn't help me put on my flip flops back on, so I ended up smudging my big toe. The lady doing my nails didn't talk to me the whole appointment, which would be fine if her work was good. Even though I was one of two people in the shop she was rushing and not asking for much input besides color and length. When I tried to communicate that I wanted the shape fixed, she ignored me. My french tips came out very sloppy and she forgot to mention that some services were an upcharge before doing them. I went home and filed, cut, and painted over my nails because they were so bad. The one who seems to be in charge isn't very friendly, borderline rude but they do nice work. Every time she does my nails they last a long time never had one broke. The pedicures are always on point. The prices are fair. If the one with the short hair was nicer this would be an amazing place that deserved 5 stars. read more

0/10 recommend, PLEASE RUN WHILE YOU CAN. I had asked for a pedi with acrylics was denied that even though it's on their menu. I had to constantly repeat myself about the tech removing the prior acrylic on my toes. She decided to ignore me and kept working I now have crooked botched toes. I also had to keep asking her to remove my ingrowns and she kept giving me this irritated look I'm not picky but I do pay for these services with my hard earned money so I do expect satisfaction. The nail tech than did a full set and than botched my nails completely this will be the last time I ever pay for a service I was not satisfied with I didn't even have to say much because my face said it all. I paid 102$ dollars for something that was supposed to make me more confident and now I'm left with hiding my nails and toes and refusing to show people this joke of a service. read more

This is an average salon with average prices. I received a pedicure and it was ok. Not very good, just ok. Which is fine, since it was a basic pedi. The tech was not rude, she was just not friendly at all. You walk in and no one greets/welcomes you. The place was practically empty when I popped in. Found this place for a quick pedi. When I walked in I saw some familiar places. The owner actually worked at a nail shop by Reems and Bell next to Nicks Diner. She is a very good nail tech and looks like she brought some of the other girls with her. This is a very basic place but what sets it apart is how sweet most of the ladies are. They take their time and are super nice. If you want the basic mani and pedi this place is it. I've been to three other places off bell road for my pedicure and they are very rushed and have that mentality of "churn them and turn them". So I end up waiting a long time for a very rushed job. If they are full, they will tell you when to come back and in my honest opinion that is much better than telling me that I will be next in line only to wait 1 hour later. This shop is fairly priced and that is all you can ask for. Good treatment, a fair price and a good job. I took my GF to this place for a full gel French tip Mani/pedi. They didn't use gel polish, they used regular nail polish for the French tips, which after a couple days turned dull and discolored. The gal that could speak English was rude, and the other gals have no clue what you're saying. Or at least they act like they don't know. It was way expensive for getting such a shoddy service, and here we are today and the entire tip flaked off on 3 of her nails! I know gel is supposed to be much more durable and vibrant, that's why it costs extra. I am very unhappy. read more

Poor customer service and nail techs have attitudes. Terrible service three times in a row. I've made appointments and have done walk in with this nail shop numerous times. The last three times they said they can't provide service. The first time I wanted nails with a simple word design they said they couldn't do it. I had dip nails. I've never had dip nails taken off with acetone. She also did not completely remove my old nail color, so It shows through under in picture 1. I have tried this salon three times. The pedicure and gel nails were fine. However, I felt like they didn't want me there. Both ladies did not look like they wanted customers. The last time I went in I felt like they were disgusted that I was there. I wasn't there at closing time, I'm not sure why the attitude but I won't go back. The lady did a horrible job taking off the old polish, made 2 of my fingers bleed, cotton fibers from the cotton balls used to remove polish became unwanted "decoration" on the nail...painted over the cuticles, didn't remove the polish on the side of the finger... Should have known better at this point... Polish started bubbling up before I even left... If it was too late in the day and no one wanted to deal with a new client then say so and don't waste people's time or money... I told them to take the polish off and left... Well....... Me and my mother went here to get our nails done. First off they had no body working that could do a regular manicure on my mother's real nails. They could only do fake nails. So I got a full set. It was the most time consuming full set I've ever received and it also was the sloppiest full set too. The staff was completely rude as well. I shouldn't have gone on my birthday. I went to get my nails dipped, but I needed tips put on also. The woman who added my tips put tips on my thumbs that were too small. I immediately got frustrated and asked her to just paint my nails and let me go. Someone who spoke English told me she couldn't put polish on the tips, so I stayed for the whole process. It was very uncomfortable for both of us. In the end, I tipped her 10%, which is half what I usually tip. Then, her boss told me not to come back if I was in a hurry. Her words, "I know your day is important but so is my work." You can't rush my people. I had not rushed her, except I may have sounded angry when she put the wrong size tips on my thumbs. I showed her they were too small. She nodded and started to wrap them in aluminum foil to try and take them off to put new ones on. At that point I said, "just leave them like they are. It's my birthday and I don't want to wait for you to soak them off." She insisted by putting the foil on my fingers anyway. Came to this place on a whim hoping it'd be worth the 4 stars it has... Definitely on the fence.. received a pedicure and manicure. Both were done fairly quickly with not too much attention to detail. My toes look cute but definitely could have been better. Manicure was bubbly and wasn't given enough time to dry. I just recently moved here and I am so happy I found them via Yelp. I was a walk in for a fill from another salon and she was able to match the powders pretty well. That's always a stressful situation when going in between different salons and Annie was so nice and gave me several options. I found this place next to the UPS store, while we were mailing a package home (lightening the load for the plane ride), and I'm so glad I did. I got exactly what I after 8 days of travel: a really good manicure with light polish. The salon is very professional, with autoclave for the clippers, brushes for washing the lotion off, and lots of color choices. Usually I have trouble conveying that I want a thin coat of color, to save the manicure longer, but the salon owner agreed with me, and I walked out very happy. Heidi did my mani/pedi and she was great. She's quick but very thorough and she didn't skimp on my massages. It's been over a week and both feet and hands still look great. I went here based on the reviews. I moved here 2 years ago from NY I had a great nail salons that I went to every 2 wks. Since I've been in Surprise I have yet to find a good salon that I can stick with. I've been using Lee Nails off of Waddell for about a year now and they still act as though they don't know me, some of the techs are very snooty while others are nice bit in a phoney way, probably wanting a good top lol. I first started going to the one by the Walmart Marketplace. I liked them a lot they were funny, clean and really friendly. Left them once she waxed my entire face and tore skin off of me on 2 different areas left there bleeding, and she acted like nothing happened. Never again. Sooooo needing a new place I decided to check out reviews and this place like I said had good reviews. What I read in a few of them was how friendly they are and that it was a fun place. I did not experience that environment at all. I actually felt like I was a burden to be there. Barely a hello, barely any conversation, no water was offered ( I read in one review they were offered water, Lee Nails offers water). On a positive view point I will say the inside was clean, looks much better than the picture on here. I guess there are new owners so they redid the appearance which looks pretty. The Tech I had did do a great job on my nails, did them exactly as I asked. I guess it's all sisters working there which is pretty cool. There is one sister that a customer could not stop raving about her name is Annie or Anna . So if you go I would make an appt. and request her. My girl was good but a bit rough when filing to the point where it felt as though she cut me on few of my figures, but didn't. Not sure if I'm going in 2 wks.
