I went here based on the reviews. I moved here 2 years ago from NY I had a great nail salons that I went to every 2 wks. Since I've been in Surprise I have yet to find a good salon that I can stick with. I've been using Lee Nails off of Waddell for about a year now and they still act as though they don't know me, some of the techs are very snooty while others are nice bit in a phoney way, probably wanting a good top lol. I first started going to the one by the Walmart Marketplace. I liked them a lot they were funny, clean and really friendly. Left them once she waxed my entire face and tore skin off of me on 2 different areas left there bleeding, and she acted like nothing happened. Never again. Sooooo needing a new place I decided to check out reviews and this place like I said had good reviews. What I read in a few of them was how friendly they are and that it was a fun place. I did not experience that environment at all. I actually felt like I was a burden to be there. Barely a hello, barely any conversation, no water was offered ( I read in one review they were offered water, Lee Nails offers water). On a positive view point I will say the inside was clean, looks much better than the picture on here. I guess there are new owners so they redid the appearance which looks pretty. The Tech I had did do a great job on my nails, did them exactly as I asked. I guess it's all sisters working there which is pretty cool. There is one sister that a customer could not stop raving about her name is Annie or Anna . So if you go I would make an appt. and request her. My girl was good but a bit rough when filing to the point where it felt as though she cut me on few of my figures, but didn't. Not sure if I'm going in 2 wks. I think I want to be brave and try out a few more salons. I just want to find one I Love! read more

Tango Nails - Nails for snowy weather in Flagstaff - Nail Salons Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS NAIL PLACE. I always go here to get French tips. I've never gotten them painted...til today. For pink, and then silver glitter for my ring fingers. The lady at station 5 with the orange tank top, on June 22 around 2pm was amazing. I HAD to give her a $5 tip cause she did an excellent job. I got them oval shaped. GO HERE to get your nails done, you'll thank me later. Will definitely be back, even tho I go here all the time haha. And only $25 ! Well $30 for me cause I tipped her. Keep up the excellent work ladies who work here. read more

This place is very efficient and has good prices however, the energy in this place is dismal. They do not greet you, smile or talk to you. If you have a question it is a one word answer. I'm fine with not talking, it's just they all frown and look so unhappy, it's such ungrateful feeling, you feel like you are imposing them. Never once has anyone said hi. The owner talks on her watch phone ear thing in Asian but won't say one word to me. Last time I had 4 gel nails that were rippled, Annie said I touched the lights, she did nothing about it, so I left. I've been gettting my gel nails done for 21 years elsewhere and never had a situation like this I know how put my hands carefully in the uv lamp. Fast forward a week my nails are bubbled and peeled off. I googled why this happened, all answers said the uv lamp light not hot enough and needs to replaced or not cured long enough. The only good thing about this place is the prices. Will not be going back. Never have I had so much as a smile from these unhappy sad technicians. A lesson in customer service and a smile go a long way read more

I just moved to the area and tried it out based on location and reviews and I'm so glad that I did! Everyone was so kind, services were great, and prices are fantastic! read more

A n excellent nail salon. All the girls take the time to work on your nails. They have nice conversations if you choose it.

I didn't know this was here, but very happy I came across it. It's a small place, but I got right in. They were very accommodating, got me water and got my foot bath ready immediately. The girl worked so hard on perfecting my pedicure and she truly did a great job. I will definitely be coming back. Much better than the place next to Safeway across bell. read more

Jenny is my girl!!! She's so sweet, does a great job and there's never a wait when I go. I've tried a few other area salons and this one is my fave. read more

Annie and her entire staff are wonderful. I always am getting compliments on the designs Annie is able to do on my nails that no one else has been able to. I will continue to go to her. read more

My review is for Jenny. She does an excellent job every time and she does it with a smile no matter how busy or tired she is. She is just very pleasant and thorough with her work! Thank u Jenny!! I will see u tomorrow read more

Decently priced with great service ... but I wasn't excited about my nails. Had mani and pedi done. The tech cut my finger, which I don't care how nice you are, that is an automatic deduction in tip and stars! The quality wasn't 5 stars and like the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for" definitely applies here. read more

Absolutely love this place. I've been here to do dip powder. It lasts long and so pretty. Highly recommended. read more

If you visit ask for Anne, she's the best!!! My nails were perfect and were don't within a half an hour. Other ladies are sloppy and not great. The pedicures there are amazing as well!! Not an amazing atmosphere, but I go just for Anne to do my nails. read more

They did a great job, I was in a hurry and she fit me in and got me out with time to spare!

Found this place by accident. I was dropping off packages to the UPS store & just happened to walk by. Needed my brows cleaned up something fierce & the errands I was running weren't going by my normal place I go to. So happy I found this place! Kim did such a great job that I'm definitely going back. Other places I've gone to rush the whole process but she took the time to make my brows look fab. Left feeling super happy. Thanks Kim! I'll be back girl ‍ read more

This was my second time coming here. My first time I got a dip full set and it started lifting within a week. I decided to give it a second chance since it's been a few years. I got a dip full set with tips and I'm super super picky about my nails so my expectations were set. The technician was nice. Unfortunately after leaving the salon and taking a closer look at my nails, two of them were bumpy and they were all uneven length plus two were crooked. I was really hoping for a better second visit because it's hard to find a good salon. read more

On April 30th I went to Tango for a Gel Manicure and Pedicure. I arrived a few minutes before my 2:00 appointment. The two employees were running behind. Finally Nina went to work on my nails by using cotton drenched with polish remover and wrapped each nail with foil. I was then taken over to the pedicure station where I sat for well over an hour with dripping nails. I noticed that my black shorts were wet but I had no idea that the color was being eaten away. I left the salon at 4:30...2 1/2 hours for a manicure and pedicure. When I got home my shorts did not look right so I washed them. That is when I really noticed the damage as the polish remover really bleached out the color. I went back to Tango this morning May 3rd to show Nina my pants. First she denied that I sat at the pedicure station. Then she said that I should have kept my nails facing down. I had tried that and the foil would fall off. I told her all she had to do was give me a towel for my lap to catch the running polish remover. She then claimed that polish remover would not do that kind of damage and took no responsibility for ruining my favorite shorts. Obviously, they have lost a customer and I told her I would be filing a complaint. read more

I love this nail salon!! Lena, Michael, Kathy are fantastic. I recently moved to Surprise and was anxious about founding a new nail salon. I saw their sign and went in. I've never regretted it. They are all so friendly and it's a fun place. Customer service is their top priority and they go out of their way to make sure you're happy!! I've been going there consistently for a few months now and will not go anywhere else. The salon is clean and comfortable. read more

Loved my experience and will definitely use Tango Nails as my nail spa of choice. Leena and Kathy provided me with a divine day of pampering. read more

The nail service and the cosmetic services at5 Tango Nails are all very affordable. Services cost less than I used to pay for services where the technician took phone calls and spoke with other technicians often, and it took an hour for just a (acrylic) fill. I go to Kim who is very gentle and good at what she does. She never tries to sell me other services or ask me loads of questions that are only my business. She takes me within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointments and she does a perfect job in 30 minutes. She does not insist on taking off the acrylic to replace with a whole new set every six months. She removes the application on each nail individually only when it needs it and does not charge extra for that. Elsewhere I have had technicians who insulted me and acted like it was my fault when a nail broke. Elsewhere I have experienced higher charges with insistence that I have a new set of artificial nails done. Some nail salons even charge extra to take the old nails off when they are replacing them. This shop is honest and professional. I would recommend them to everybody. The whole staff are sisters! Nice people doing great work whom you can trust. The unflattering reviews must be for some of the other shops I have visited in the past! read more

This place is nothing but a ripoff. They even charge you for using a credit card and be careful when they ask you to choose the type of pedi that you want, as it could wind up costing a lot. If they did a good job it would be one thing, but the man who gave me my mani, cut my cuticle so bad that it bled and never said sorry or anything else, just kept blotting up the blood. I did not say I wanted my nails cut straight across (and I didn't want that), nor was I ever asked. They always seem to be trying to sell you more things, as the woman doing my pedi told me my eyebrows were bushy and I should get a waxing, which was totally out of the question. There are other places nearby that do a much better job for less and I'd advise anyone looking for a mani/pedi to use one of them. read more

I always come here for my eye brow and lip waxing. They have always done a great job, they are always very nice. I have become a regular, and will continue to come here. read more

I like coming here but lately they don't keep the appointments you make and take walkins even tho an appointment has been made. Either that or they just give everyone the same appt time. Not to pleased today. read more

Detailed review: This place was a beautiful surprise! My husband and I went for pedicures, and received such excellent service/treatment, that I ended up booking a nail appointment for the following day. I have been getting my nails done since 1999, and it is very difficult to find someone who is truly gifted at doing nails. I am visiting from out of town, and cringe at the idea of having my nails done by someone new. It always makes me sweat. I had a pink and white fill done by Annie, and she did one of the best jobs I have ever had!! My nails are shaped beautifully, there's just the right amount of white, they are the perfect thickness, and there is no gel over hang onto my skin. They are truly remarkable! Their prices are extremely low, but you do not have to give up quality to save money in your pocket. I will come back again every time I am visiting. Great spot!!! read more

In town for Spring Training games. Desperate for a mani/pedi and came across Tango. Very nice super service.

Went for a random pedicure two weeks ago with the soon-to-be hubby. Pleasant staff, fun atmosphere. Customers were engaging with each other, lots of laughter. Prices are what you'd expect, would easily go back. Have already recommended a customer. read more

I liked this place. I thought the workers were very kind. I walked in on a whim since I wanted to try a nail salon near by my house, looking to get a full acrylic set and a very basic pedicure. Full coffin nail set was $45, $15 for the pedicure. I loved my nails for the first few days but after that I realized they weren't shaped very well at all, very bumpy and rounded. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and I could tell she took her time, but I believe she maybe put too much polish on my nails or she didn't allow them to dry all the way. My toes look pretty good for 15 dollars so no complaints there. I would go back for cheap pedicures but probably not for my acrylics, especially for 45 dollars with a nice tip (like I said I loved my nails when I first got them). read more

I got the dip nails for the first At this nail salon. Not impressed. 2 of nails look super crappy. Very bummed. I won't go back.

I tried to get my nails done and get a pedicure on two different occasions. Both times I was told to come back because they were busy. You have lost my business. read more

Now the only reason why I decide to come to tango nails it's because my nail place was 45 minutes behind they are always packed because they are that good I was in a rush to get my nails done because I was due to have surgery on my hands the next day I sat in that chair for an hour no not 30 minutes an hour and she still could not get the paint right the paint was just pouring off my nails each time I stuck them in the machine to dry I should have realized that paint was no good but my mind was stuck on getting my behind in the bed so I can get up at 5 in the morning to have surgery did she realize that the paint was bad no I woke up the next morning and the paint was pouring off my nails peeling off my nails needless to say I will never go back again after they fix my nails I even gave her a $5 tip after sitting in my behind and that chair for an hour I want my Tip back so now that my hand is sore swollen in terrible pain and stuck in a claw position I need to go get my nails fixed because I am not going to a comedy show tomorrow with my hand looking crazy and also my nails looking jacked up good luck to those who go to tango nails!! read more

This nail salon was just fine early last year.... but not recently. I went there twice for a pedicure and both times received service from the same tech.... which were quite painful. Last time I went, I ended up with a bad infection below the nail and needed to seek medical services and was given antibiotics. When I complained to the Manager of Tango, they did refund the cost of my pedicure, but I ended up eating the medical costs. I won't be going back. read more

I came to get my nails done and honestly what I got done wasnt what they charged me I got this done before and no where near did I get charged almost $50 so confused as to why I got charged so much I had gone here because last time I loved the service the price and the results this time felt so different mind you i got the samething done....just disappointed read more

The best place for nail care hands down! Make an appointment as the shop is run by mom and daughter team providing GENTLE and very professional nail care. I have been to several in this area over the past 4 years and always had cuts and very uncomfortable first sets and fills. Not only is this my last stop for sure but I will be smart and make a standing appointment. No wait at all and always well cared for. read more

Wonderful experience!! Michael did a beautiful job on my Dip Nails. I will definitely be coming back to try the Luxury Pedicure.

Walked In Today and asked for a fill. The lady told me there was an extremely long wait. There was only one other person in the chair and she was already being worked on and insinuates I should leave. I left. If you don't want my business, I certainly won't give it to you. Went to another salon and had to wait, I don't mind having to wait at all, it was the tone that was used. read more
