This place is very efficient and has good prices however, the energy in this place is dismal. They do not greet you, smile or talk to you. If you have a question it is a one word answer. I'm fine with not talking, it's just they all frown and look so unhappy, it's such ungrateful feeling, you feel like you are imposing them. Never once has anyone said hi. The owner talks on her watch phone ear thing in Asian but won't say one word to me. Last time I had 4 gel nails that were rippled, Annie said I touched the lights, she did nothing about it, so I left. I've been gettting my gel nails done for 21 years elsewhere and never had a situation like this I know how put my hands carefully in the uv lamp. Fast forward a week my nails are bubbled and peeled off. I googled why this happened, all answers said the uv lamp light not hot enough and needs to replaced or not cured long enough. The only good thing about this place is the prices. Will not be going back. Never have I had so much as a smile from these unhappy sad technicians. I didn't know this was here, but very happy I came across it. It's a small place, but I got right in. They were very accommodating, got me water and got my foot bath ready immediately. Decently priced with great service ... but I wasn't excited about my nails. Had mani and pedi done. The tech cut my finger, which I don't care how nice you are, that is an automatic deduction in tip and stars! The quality wasn't 5 stars and like the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for" definitely applies here. read more

This was my second time coming here. My first time I got a dip full set and it started lifting within a week. I decided to give it a second chance since it's been a few years. I got a dip full set with tips and I'm super super picky about my nails so my expectations were set. The technician was nice. Unfortunately after leaving the salon and taking a closer look at my nails, two of them were bumpy and they were all uneven length plus two were crooked. The nail service and the cosmetic services at5 Tango Nails are all very affordable. Services cost less than I used to pay for services where the technician took phone calls and spoke with other technicians often, and it took an hour for just a (acrylic) fill. I go to Kim who is very gentle and good at what she does. She never tries to sell me other services or ask me loads of questions that are only my business. She takes me within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointments and she does a perfect job in 30 minutes. She does not insist on taking off the acrylic to replace with a whole new set every six months. She removes the application on each nail individually only when it needs it and does not charge extra for that. Elsewhere I have had technicians who insulted me and acted like it was my fault when a nail broke. Elsewhere I have experienced higher charges with insistence that I have a new set of artificial nails done. Some nail salons even charge extra to take the old nails off when they are replacing them. This shop is honest and professional. I would recommend them to everybody. The whole staff are sisters! Nice people doing great work whom you can trust. The unflattering reviews must be for some of the other shops I have visited in the past! read more

This place is nothing but a ripoff. They even charge you for using a credit card and be careful when they ask you to choose the type of pedi that you want, as it could wind up costing a lot. If they did a good job it would be one thing, but the man who gave me my mani, cut my cuticle so bad that it bled and never said sorry or anything else, just kept blotting up the blood. I did not say I wanted my nails cut straight across (and I didn't want that), nor was I ever asked. They always seem to be trying to sell you more things, as the woman doing my pedi told me my eyebrows were bushy and I should get a waxing, which was totally out of the question. There are other places nearby that do a much better job for less and I'd advise anyone looking for a mani/pedi to use one of them. read more

On April 30th I went to Tango for a Gel Manicure and Pedicure. I arrived a few minutes before my 2:00 appointment. The two employees were running behind. Finally Nina went to work on my nails by using cotton drenched with polish remover and wrapped each nail with foil. I was then taken over to the pedicure station where I sat for well over an hour with dripping nails. I noticed that my black shorts were wet but I had no idea that the color was being eaten away. I left the salon at 4:30...2 1/2 hours for a manicure and pedicure. When I got home my shorts did not look right so I washed them. That is when I really noticed the damage as the polish remover really bleached out the color. I went back to Tango this morning May 3rd to show Nina my pants. First she denied that I sat at the pedicure station. Then she said that I should have kept my nails facing down. I had tried that and the foil would fall off. I told her all she had to do was give me a towel for my lap to catch the running polish remover. She then claimed that polish remover would not do that kind of damage and took no responsibility for ruining my favorite shorts. Obviously, they have lost a customer and I told her I would be filing a complaint. read more

My husband and I went for pedicures, and received such excellent service/treatment, that I ended up booking a nail appointment for the following day. I have been getting my nails done since 1999, and it is very difficult to find someone who is truly gifted at doing nails. I am visiting from out of town, and cringe at the idea of having my nails done by someone new. It always makes me sweat. I had a pink and white fill done by Annie, and she did one of the best jobs I have ever had!! My nails are shaped beautifully, there's just the right amount of white, they are the perfect thickness, and there is no gel over hang onto my skin. They are truly remarkable! Their prices are extremely low, but you do not have to give up quality to save money in your pocket. I will come back again every time I am visiting. Great spot!!! read more

I liked this place. I thought the workers were very kind. I walked in on a whim since I wanted to try a nail salon near by my house, looking to get a full acrylic set and a very basic pedicure. Full coffin nail set was $45, $15 for the pedicure. I loved my nails for the first few days but after that I realized they weren't shaped very well at all, very bumpy and rounded. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and I could tell she took her time, but I believe she maybe put too much polish on my nails or she didn't allow them to dry all the way. My toes look pretty good for 15 dollars so no complaints there. I would go back for cheap pedicures but probably not for my acrylics, especially for 45 dollars with a nice tip (like I said I loved my nails when I first got them). read more

Now the only reason why I decide to come to tango nails it's because my nail place was 45 minutes behind they are always packed because they are that good I was in a rush to get my nails done because I was due to have surgery on my hands the next day I sat in that chair for an hour no not 30 minutes an hour and she still could not get the paint right the paint was just pouring off my nails each time I stuck them in the machine to dry I should have realized that paint was no good but my mind was stuck on getting my behind in the bed so I can get up at 5 in the morning to have surgery did she realize that the paint was bad no I woke up the next morning and the paint was pouring off my nails peeling off my nails needless to say I will never go back again after they fix my nails I even gave her a $5 tip after sitting in my behind and that chair for an hour I want my Tip back so now that my hand is sore swollen in terrible pain and stuck in a claw position I need to go get my nails fixed because I am not going to a comedy show tomorrow with my hand looking crazy and also my nails looking jacked up good luck to those who go to tango nails!! read more

This nail salon was just fine early last year.... but not recently. I went there twice for a pedicure and both times received service from the same tech.... which were quite painful. Last time I went, I ended up with a bad infection below the nail and needed to seek medical services and was given antibiotics. When I complained to the Manager of Tango, they did refund the cost of my pedicure, but I ended up eating the medical costs. I won't be going back. read more
