Super Nails & Spa is located in a strip mall off of Grand Avenue in Surprise, AZ. It's a small venue with more than half the space for pedicures and the remaining area for manicures, the front desk, waiting area, and product displays. They have done way with all of the OPI product line and are using a new brand that I can't remember the name of. It seemed to offer the same wide range of colors and the product is still on my nails nearly a month later. The pedicure chairs seem to be new. They have the remote control built into the arm rest for a relaxing back massage. I like that you can control this yourself. They start with the pedicure and then move you to a desk like table where you get your manicure. Afterwards, you are directed to a drying table for both your toes and fingernails. I always wish that they would do my manicure first so that my fingernails have time to dry while I'm getting my pedicure. I'm much more likely to ruin my fingernails upon leaving than I am my toenails. Prices here are reasonable and they have a menu that you can peruse to find the combination of services that will meet your needs. Most include a light massage. I would definitely return. I do recommend booking appointment in advance so that you are seen right away, especially if you have more than one person in your party. They will take walk-ins, but you may have to wait for service. read more

I rarely give 5 stars but Helen gave me the most thorough pedicure I have ever had. She treated my feet, toes, nails and legs with great care! Her attention to detail meant that it took extra time but I enjoyed every minute! I gave her the biggest tip I have every given as well. They were busy and I didn't have an appointment but I only waited 10 minutes or so. They Use Apple Pay or Zelle for payment so be prepared. It's not super fancy but is clean. read more

First time here. last minute decided to get a pedi before I met family for dinner. Pros: women ar counter was very nice, salon was clean and tons of polish colors to choose from. Once I was in a chair a tech came over after about 5 minutes. She said something, but with her mask on, I couldn't understand what she said, and then she left for another five minutes. When she came back, she turned on the water, soaked my feet for another five minutes then she came back, sat down, she seemed upset or bothered by something but again she had a mask on, and I couldn't understand what she said. She asked me to pick a pedicure package, I was short on time to meet my family for dinner so I selected the Basic which was $30. She did the usual pedicure things then asked if I had regular or gel polish on. I told her it was gel and then she asked if I wanted to put on regular or gel polish. I told her I selected a gel color and I thought she said because she was taking off gel and putting on a gel I wouldn't have to pay extra for the gel removal. However, when I went to pay, she said it was $45 not $30 because apparently they charge $15 on top of the regular package you select, to remove gel polish. I wasn't happy that I was paying half of the price of the total pedicure package just to remove the gel polish, I was running late. I had to leave so I paid the bill and headed out. So just a warning if you have gel polish on, they will charge you an additional $15 to remove it. I've been wearing gel polish forever, the most I've been charged to remove it was $5, so $15 seems quite excessive to me. I will to be looking for another salon. Cons: additional $15 to remove gel polish, polish application was sloppy. read more

As I sat down and began with a pedicure I realized this is the same place I had gotten my nails done last year and it was a horrible experience ending with the man yelling at me and throwing down the file when I asked for a different shape. This time the experience was just ok. I asked for a French tip and she cut my nails down so short and rounded that the white tip had very little space to actually look like a French tip. Made a note of this place and will not be back. read more

I was visiting from out of state and needed an acrylic fill with gel polish desperately so I called the closest nail place one morning not knowing what to expect and reluctant to try walking in. Got an appointment that afternoon. The place was clean, busy, efficient and nicely decorated. I was assigned to Kathy and was very pleased. She did a great job matching my color, fixing a broken nail with a tip and sending me out in Wayyyyy better shape than I came in. Prices were in line with my usual salon back home. Found we had several things in common to talk about. A very enjoyable experience and I would return for sure! read more

Seriously thank you for such a wonderful experience! My sister was amazing & found this place so that her and I could go get our manicures for my wedding, and then so that 6 of us ladies in my family could get our pedicures done at the same time. They were super accommodating, pleasant, friendly. I loved my wedding nails and toes! It was so wonderful that all of us were able to get our pedicures done at the same time. I got a full set done today, and Serina never disappoints, the quality of the nails are amazing and they usually hold up for at least 3 weeks. Could be more but I go every 3 weeks to get a new set haha! The vibe there is super welcoming and they're always making sure you're happy with their work before you leave the chair. ! When a pedicure customer says "ouch" it's generally an indication that whatever you're doing hurts. It's best at that point to stop, or at least ask the customer in the chair if it's ok to proceed. After 3 "ouches" on my certainly not overly tender toes, I knew this would not be a nail salon I'd return to. read more

I'm new to the area but I had broke a nail and also I needed a fill really bad. I scheduled my appointment for 11:30 am but I was done with my errands sooner so I stopped in just in case they could get me in. The place was busy but an appointment hadn't showed up yet so I was able to jump right in. Since it was close to Christmas, I wanted to add a touch of Christmas and gave my nail tech a description of exactly what I had wanted. Customer Service: Was good, you told them what you wanted and that's exactly what you get. Quality: Quality was very great, my acrylic nails were strong, the gel polish did not peel or discolor. As you can see from my picture, my nails were done almost 4 weeks ago and although I need to go back in for a fill, they still look good. Price: Pricing was fair and what I would've expected to pay. I only gave it a 4 star because I think the employees could be a little bit more welcoming. If you want to go to a place where you can have good conversations, this wouldn't be it. Otherwise, if you want to have your nails done right for a fair price and just be silent the whole time, this is a place for you. Overall, I was happy with everything & will definitely be going back! read more

I saw this lady's nails and they were beautiful. I asked where she had them done, and she told me Serena at Super Nails. I was looking for a new place because I just wasn't happy with the place I was going, my nails were not done correctly . I made a appointment with Serena and I was amazed at the great a job she did. I will definitely be returning to her going forward . Hint, make a appointment when you want a service, they are very busy at this shop, that speaks volumes in itself. First off, I'm here visiting my grandma who I never see, so we decided to have a family nail day. I was going to leave a review yesterday because I was dissatisfied with our services, but decided against it because I've worked in the service/tip industry for a large portion of my career, and don't like to make waves for people who live off tips, but this is ridiculous and I'm even more so dissatisfied now (my polish has chipped at least 25% off, and as I said I'm on vacation, I haven't scrubbed a single dish). 2 of the 3 nail techs that helped my party of 3 were rude, didn't talk to us AT ALL, made me feel uncomfortable for not wanting gel, and honestly didn't provide adequate services for what I paid. I even had to trim up the skin around my fingers today after my mani (less than 24 hours later). COVID has nothing to do with hospitality if you choose to work in this industry, then I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry. You go into work so that you can work! Not treat your customers who PAY YOU (and tip, which I now regret) like you're an inconvenience. (I will give credit where credit is due and say the young nursing student who helped my sister was AMAZING and she had ZERO complaints when I let her know I was submitting a negative review, thought that was worth adding) 100% do not recommend read more

This is the only place I go for manicures and pedicures. Their coconut pedicure is to die for, although their green tea pedicure is pretty amazing as well!!! Stephen does the best gel manicure and Helen is amazing at pedicures. They have all the COVID precautions in place. They're fast. Affordable. Friendly. Professional. And their manicures/pedicures have lasting power too. No chipped polish or broken nails before my next appointment. 10/10 absolutely do recommend. read more

Yesterday, I went here to get my nails done for my birthday. And I got to say, these are the best nails I've ever gotten!! This is the first time I ever got my nails this glammed out. I got the dip powder and the nail tech went above and beyond to make my nails perfect for my birthday. She always asked for my opinion and made sure that they met my standards. She even gave me ideas and recommendations for when I wasn't sure with decorations. She was super sweet the whole time. I couldn't stop staring and smiling at my nails after they were done. I woke up today and still had the same reaction as yesterday. because of how beautiful they are!! I definitely recommend this salon. The owners are amazing and very kind. The staff is really great too. I'm definitely coming back here again and I highly recommend this place. read more

I made an appointment at noon yesterday, was quoted $41.00 for a french Manicure, and waited for 20 minutes. Then I showed them my nails & I wanted the same thing, language was an issue here. Then Selena took me, She seemed to be in a Rush, she didn't take of my cuticles or anything special & rushed through everything since obviously, she had a client at 1 pm. I then was charged $56.00 instead of the quoted $41.00, no special service whats so ever. This is an outrageous price, I could have gone to Scottsdale with top-quality service!!! I have told my friends & they too were aghast at the price & service. Obviously, I will never return & will spread the word. read more

I get my manicures and pedicures done here by Yen. She is always amazing. I have to get fake toenails on my big toes cause my own won't grow. Yen makes them look so natural. The nail tech, Ruby, forgot the color I chose and painted them the wrong color. Because I was rushing to another appointment, she told me to come back the very next day and she would fix it. When I called to schedule the correction, Ruby wasn't there, so I made an appointment for 9:00 AM the following morning. Today, I arrived on time and waited over 30 minutes because she was late. During that time, the owner/manager came over, looked at my toes, took photos, and explained they had already been having issues with Ruby. Because I had already been inconvenienced by having to return for a mistake that was not mine, take additional time away from work, and then wait over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment, I asked the owner if acrylic could be added to my big toenails at no charge as a gesture of goodwill for everything I had been put through. The owner agreed and instructed Ruby to do it. That is when the situation escalated. Instead of accepting the owner's decision and taking accountability for the original mistake, Ruby became argumentative and confrontational with me. At that point, my frustration was no longer about the color itself. It was about the repeated inconvenience, lack of professionalism, being late to a scheduled appointment, and being met with resistance and excuses rather than a sincere effort to correct the situation. The issue could have been resolved professionally, but Ruby's attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility turned a simple correction into an unnecessarily negative experience. I also want to be fair in my review. I previously had my fingernails done by Austin, and I will absolutely give credit where it is due his nail work is beautiful, and I was always happy with the quality of his services. However, I did have an experience where I felt he was unnecessarily rude to both my mother and me, and that interaction ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can acknowledge the quality of his work, customer service and professionalism are equally important to me as a paying customer.( Fortunate for me I do have this whole encounter voice recorded so that I was able to go back ACCURATELY create this HORRIBLE review! ) The salon itself is clean, well-maintained, and organized. The workstations, floors, and overall appearance of the shop were consistently kept neat during my visits. Cleanliness was never an issue, and I appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a professional environment for customers. Stylist Review for Ruby: Ruby was the original technician who did my pedicure and unfortunately my experience with her was disappointing. She painted my toes SUPER SLOPPY the wrong color after I had clearly selected a different one and asked me to come back the next day to correct her mistake. SHE Never showed up the day she told me to come in to correct her mistake . When I returned for my scheduled appointment, she arrived over 30 minutes late. What was most frustrating was that instead of taking accountability for the inconvenience and mistake, she became argumentative when the situation was being addressed. Everyone makes mistakes, but professionalism is measured by how those mistakes are handled, and unfortunately that was lacking during my experience. Review for the Owner/Manager: I appreciate that the owner ultimately tried to make the situation right. At first, there seemed to be some hesitation when I requested acrylic on my big toes as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience of having to return, missing work time, and waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time. However, after reviewing the situation and recognizing everything that had occurred, the owner reconsidered and approved the request. While the experience should never have reached that point, I do appreciate that management eventually listened to my concerns and attempted to provide a reasonable resolution. Review for Austin: Austin is very talented when it comes to nails, and I want to give him full credit for the quality of his work. My fingernails always looked great, and I was consistently happy with the results. Unfortunately, I had an experience where I felt he was rude and dismissive toward both my mother and me, which ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can't fault his skills as a nail technician, customer service is just as important as the service itself. If professionalism and communication had matched the quality of his work, I would likely still be a client today.

I waited 15 minutes before they sat me down and put my feet in the water to sit around for another 15 minutes. By now I realized that I wouldn't be able to get both services completed before I needed to leave. During this time, two other ladies walked in and were also waiting, but I found out later they were walk-ins. Another lady walked in after I had been waiting for 30 minutes, looking to be a walk-in, but they said it was gonna be a while because there were people waiting, so she was trying to schedule an appointment for later that afternoon. I ended up getting up and gathering my stuff and told the lady that she could have my appointment since I had been sitting around for 30 minutes with nothing happening. I looked at the lady who had scheduled my appointment the day before and who had checked me in the day of and she gave me no response. I went out to my car and the lady ended up making an appointment and following me out. Just asked what happened and I explained the situation and she had told me that most people were walk-ins for this establishment.Also the other two women that were waiting left shortly after I did and I asked if they had an appointment, but they said that they were also walk-ins. I don't understand why you would take an appointment and not honor it. There is a reason for appointment, mainly so we can keep our schedules for the day. After seeing the empty books and being told that most people are walk-ins, I believe the two ladies they helped before me were also walk-ins (not verified), and ended up taking my reserved time. It's very frustrating at the lack of professionalism with businesses nowadays. Nothing was done to honor my appointment, nothing was said when I voiced that I had been waiting for 30 minutes, and nothing will be done because I am just one person. I am not telling you, whether you should or should not use this company for any service, I am just providing a rating of my experience. I have a place that I normally go to, but it is 30 minutes away and they are fantastic. Looks like I need to go on here and give them a rating too to show how much I appreciate the service I received from them. Looking forward to a reply.

I, personally, added on reflexology for 10 minutes at $15. It was such a nice and relaxing treatment and really invigorated my feet. I will be back for additional reflexology sessions in the near future. I finished with a regular manicure. Again, I received a hot towel and lotion before having manicure completed. Price was $20. I will probably upgrade to gel next time I'm in. Overall, this place is very clean and staff super friendly. I will be back very soon and love all the options. I liked the idea of picking my color from my spa chair and having to go to a wall to look at all the colors as in salons past. I'm including pictures of the pretty pink color for both feet and hands. I have swelling in my feet and legs, and he gave me very careful attention to protect my skin. And he made my feet smooth, pretty, and sandal ready again! Then I told him how my fingernails were so weak, and I had chewed them on the drive down, with my husband at the wheel. He gave me a beautiful natural looking dip to make my nails super strong. All of this great care was in a clean, beautiful salon with classic love songs playing in the background. I will be back!
