TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I called early in the morning to make an appointment with the girl that did my nails here before. Set the appointment and went in. When I arrived I was told "she doesn't work today" why make the appointment then?! Being my only day off, I decided to have the other girl do my nails... By far the worst set I've ever had! I asked three times for the lady to fix them. The other girls were giving each other pedicures and the manager left! I called immediately after and was told he would return later that evening. The acrylic was over laid on my fingers causing pain, the shape was horrendous, they were thick and lumpy!! Had to have them repaired elsewhere since they hurt and no manager was available. Update: Due to the dissatisfaction along with the pain my daughter was in from last night's visit we returned today to address the issues to see what could be done to correct the matter. I am pleased to report that we were made whole. The gifted Annie saved the day with her gentle process,listend and made sure it was what my daughter wanted for her 1st ever set of acrylic nails. They came out perfect! Her skin around them is still obviously sore/cut and brused from the night before but at least she is completely satisfied with the look and feel of the nails themselves. I appreciate Shawn and Anni in this matter, making things right! God is Good! Normally love this place and the tecs are generally really nice and have the ability to do a great job. However this evening I took my daughter in to get a few services for the 1st time and told them it was her 1st time and for her birthday. We got there around 4pm and didnt get out till after 7pm. Was only two tecs so we had to wait a while.The main issues was not listing to what was requested and the up sale of a service without informing the customer of the cost difference from what they asked for as if there is no difference in cost. Unprofessional and uncool.A $25 up sale. The tec also cut her fingers and now she is in pain every time she wets her hands. She hates her nails(not what she wanted but a teen whom didnt understand the tec clearly and had not the confidence to speak up). Thanks for a bad experience.I should have let them know the tip went to dishonest pushy upsale. I also was frustrated with the cost of gel being $15 extra but my toe nail is lacking coverage even after requesting it be addressed on the sides. Not pleased this trip at all! The eyebrow waxing was the only thing satisfactory. I pay their higher prices and expect to get what I request and pay for. My daughter doesnt even want to return to have them fix and cut her fingers up more and spending and excessive amount of time there again. I absolutely love my nails here!! I play a lot of sports and am extremely active. So happy that my nails always withstand it. Sean does an amazing job with my fullsets and they always end up looking amazing. I drive all the way from Tempe and it's definitely worth it. If you want to get your nails done I recommend really calling in before hand. I usually do that instead of a walk in. Apart from that my acrylic sets always lasting around 3 weeks and I get so many compliments from that. This is definitely my go-to nail salon in Surprise. Unfortunately I'm rather disappointed with my nails, I saw some reviews about how this place was pretty decent, it's probably one of the best in surprise, usually I go to new moon in Mesa and they do amazing, I spent an hour filing my nails so that they would have a good base for the shape I wanted, my nails are literally peeling off they did like 8 coats on my fill. Hate to rate them so low, bc the 1st time was fine, and the 2nd time I went in there and got the best pedicure I've ever had from a man, maybe in his 30's or early 40's-I didn't get his name unfortunately. They are also the most reasonably priced I've found in Surprise. So the next time I came back. there was only an older woman and her husband-maybe the owners, not sure. She waxed my upper lip and I got a horrible infection that lasted weeks-I ended up going to 2 dermatologists--a 2nd one after it didn't go away for a month. I've had many lip waxes and nothing like this ever happened. So I have to really downgrade them for it. Prior to that I really liked it. I have been going to Natural Touch for about four years. It has changed hands a couple times and was originally called Katlyn Nails. As of a few months ago, it changed hands again. Now there are three WONDERFUL ladies that run the place--Nancy, Kim and Kelly. Honestly, as far as nail salons go, this is the most LOVELY little secret in Surprise! I always have Nancy do my mani's/pedi's but Kim does an amazing job on my brows. What makes this salon so different from the others? Its the SMILE and POSITIVITY these ladies exude! They are SO incredibly pleasant and sweet. Not like some of the other salons where they spend the entire two hours you are there talking to each other. (and when they do speak to you, they aren't super friendly) At Natural Touch, the ladies know you are coming in to RELAX and unwind so they let you be.
