Cindy did the best pedicure I have ever had in my LIFE. I am so particular when it comes to my self-care time because it can be so expensive. She took every single minute of the pedicure I paid for and made it worth every single penny. I asked for pink round nails. She said I was too old I wanted shorter rounded nails and she gave me long thick Square nails. Never again!

I-U nails is fantastic. I used to go every month but thanks to inflation my visits have decreased recently. Regardless of the number of months between visits, the staff know me, they know what I like and they provide high quality service. They ask me about the friends and family I've brought along on each visit. They tell me to say hello each time. The quality of their nail (and other services) are top notch. They offer full sets, partial sets, dipping powder, gel or shellac. They have full service pedicures with many different options to choose from. My favorite is the Summer package which gives you a great scrub, soak, massage, callous removal and paraffin treatment. They're super accommodating on schedules. If you're in a hurry, they'll do your manicure while you're getting a pedicure to help you get in and out quickly! They just upgraded their pedicure chairs recently and they're super comfy with a great massage feature built in. Highly recommend this place to everyone. They have a lot of male customers too! I used to like going here and chose it over nearby salons because of the service, but that was pre-COVID. Back then it seemed that Nancy ran the place with care and honestly, she did a great job on my nails and was attentive to details and worked with me to get the desired look and results for my nails. But the last two times I've been there I've had a bad experience. I don't know the manager's name but she seems to have taken charge over Nancy and unfortunately, she did my nails today. I wasn't going to write and I thought about just calling but felt it was a lost cause and I'm very upset with the service so I feel the need to share. This place is really good at taking walk-ins and last minute bookings. They rarely turn anyone away but today I realized that it's to the detriment of customer service. I called in and was willing to come in later in the day but they offered me a spot within 40 minutes. I went in for a fill with design and a pedicure. I was looking to treat myself with some relaxation because I have been experiencing some hard times and extreme stress (ladies, you know how it is when you treat yourself) They started my pedicure and I told the lady that I had some acrylic on my big toe and I wanted it replaced so I could see if my injured toenail had healed well. Then the manager lady comes to my pedicure chair and starts doing the fill on my hands. I've never been a fan of getting my nails done at the pedicure chair - who is? You are paying for relaxation and a spa experience and now you're forced into discomfort. I get that they want to get as much business as possible and utilize their time, but ask people if they are OK with doubling up first. I wasn't in a rush and I would have been happy to wait after my feet were done. I was focused on what was happening on my hands so I didn't notice that the woman at my feet had completely ignored my request for the acrylic to be removed. (I would have paid extra for the service). She was almost done painting my toenails by the time I realized it. I brought in a photo inspo for the design on my acrylics, it was a simple modified French with an eye on the index finger - I asked for square instead of oval and didn't need it to look exact, but I did need it to be worth my money. When she was doing my fill I told her that I didn't need gel on my acrylics, I was fine with regular polish- I did this a lot back in the early 2000s and the nail designs always stayed fresh because they were on acrylics. I KNOW it doesn't have to be done with gel to look clean. I also KNOW that more than one top layer of clear nail polish is needed to achieve this effect. The manager lady tried to use the gold glitter on my feet for the gold line in my hand design which I already told her I didn't want. Then she yelled at me and gave me an attitude for not bringing in the colors I wanted. Ummmm, every nail salon should have gold shimmer nail polish. I have never asked them for an absurdly abnormal color. My guess is that they focus so much on dip powder and have not invested in regular nail polish colors, BUT I asked for very basic colors that are not out of the ordinary for a nail salon. She was able to locate a gold color only after taking my payment. I didn't tip great but it wasn't terrible, I planned to add to the tip after the whole service was done. I didn't end up tipping more because of the sloppy rushed job and poor service. You can see in my photos she had no interest in cleaning up or ensuring there were any clean lines. $100 out of my pocket and I'm still upset about it. If she had an issue with me being OK with using regular polish she could have consulted me to use gel. When she was 'done' doing my nail design she essentially pushed me to the corner to dry, did not set me up with a fan or anything. Didn't say goodbye to me when I said bye either. Turns out she was rushing because her next appointment was waiting for over 30 minutes. She should have known not to squeeze me in based on what I was asking for, I wasn't in a rush! I should also mention, she only put one clear top coat on my nails and she didn't clean up under my nails to freshen me up during my fill either. I never write reviews but I just really think people should be warned before going here and/or management needs to adjust their ways back to pre-COVID. A last minute appointment isn't worth the upset. If you want powder or gel you'll probably be fine but in my experience, this isn't the place to go to for nail extensions and/or designs. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years so I know a good nail tech when I see them. Nancy is good, can't say that for the other lady - and if she's in charge, good luck expecting valuable service. read more

First time here and was desperate to get a pedicure for a last minute event. I asked for my toenails to be trimmed-- they're so short that they look like a toddlers toenail. No toe separators - they use paper towel in between your toes! Of course I smudged one getting out of the chair, and all she did was glob more Polish on top of it. 2 hours later, the polish peeled off because it was so thick on that nail. I asked for the classic pedicure ($28), however I get to the counter to pay and it was $33. They charge $5 extra to take off gel-- which she didn't soak them, she drilled off the Polish. Any establishment that bribes customers for good reviews (they have signs up that say "get a free add on with a 5 star Yelp review) is a HUGE, HUGE red flag. read more

First time in today trying a salon in the neighborhood. I had a wonderful deluxe pedicure with Lisa. Great attention to detail. The products used were very rich and fragrant. Very dissatisfied with the quality of their service AND their inferior customer service. I won't be back - ever! I took my granddaughter for a new set of acrylic nails. $60 down the drain! They didn't even last a week! She's a high school student, so it's not like she's working excessively with her hands and her nails are under strenuous circumstances. They just kept popping off until within four days they were ALL off. But the real kicker was when I took her back in with the hopes that the staff at I-U Nails might be willing to work with a dissatisfied customer who had a bad experience - the manager was completely indifferent and offered no resolution. The facility uses plastic liners in the foot bath so it's added protection for sanitary reasons. All of the techs are nice and both my husband and I had a relaxing experience. Absolutely will never go here again the lady that did my nails got mouthy with me because I said I didn't like the shape because why would I pay for something I don't like right just common sense I thought. She ended up charging me 60$ for nails that look like horrendous they aren't even shaped right either and I just love to top it off that my nails aren't the same length each hand is different. I've been systematically trying all the nail salons in the area. My gel manicure here was beautiful and lasted ages and ages without chipping. One of the better sets I've had in a very long time. I came back to have a new gel set out on and they only had two girls working so they were unable to take walk ins. Bummer. I had a time constraint so couldn't come back at the time they had open and ended up at another salon that did an awful job :( in still bitter. Not their fault. I would suggest they staff more employees... the salon I went to had staff for days and about 30 people getting a service. The man who did my gel set initially was awesome.. Had a 3:30 appointment for my daughter's first ever pedi (she's 5)! They made us wait 30 minutes after our pre-set time. Then finally walked us back to the chairs. We waited longer and they never even turned on the water. My daughter was super sad and super bored. Finally, after sitting for a bit with our feet in empty spas, a gal came over (we thought she was turning on our water)...she walked right PAST us and turned on the water of a lady who had been sitting there since BEFORE we got there. That poor woman was sitting there with her feet in an empty spa for over 40 minutes! Wow. Still didn't turn on our water and we just sat there. So uncomfortable. I feel like they were discriminating because I had a little girl with me. Why did they need to walk right past us?? There weren't that many customers in there so maybe they need to figure out their services and plan better. Oh well. We will get her first pedi elsewhere. Not returning to this place. Disappointing. We went to Walgreens instead to buy a bunch of nail polishes. I gave her a special pedicure at our home instead. read more

A friend and I came here to get manicures before our respective trips. She had been here before but it was my first time since it's kind of out of the way from where I live. But overall, the drive was worth it and I had a great experience. I came in with a dip set from a different salon. The nail tech (Mindy) removed the color, filed it down, and put on a new color and it looked like a whole new set! I've gotten so many compliments already and am so happy with the result! Very impressed by this place. They are welcoming when you walk in the door and work fast to get you serviced even if there is a small wait. They even thanked me for waiting when they started my pedicure. The prices are really good aswell. $22 for a classic pedicure that includes hot rocks and an 8 minute massage. right before a function out of the country I went in to get a Mani and Pedi. I picked a color that they said they had a match for which was great because of the coordination I had to have. Only to have them do the whole pedicure and not have a match for the nails that needed to match the outfit for the function. It was soooo off matched and very disappointing and they would not fix it. She saw my disappointment and insisted the colors were "close enough"... a pink and a orange! I had no time to get corrected elsewhere. The first day three nails broke just lifting light bag. I will not go back here very disappointing to have three chipped off nails through my whole function out the gate. The service was less than par as well. Make sure they show you the color match if that is something you're really needing. I obviously forgot about the review I posted here five years ago. :( read more
