My experience was not just disappointing -- it was unsafe and completely mishandled. I went in for a routine pedicure and left with chemical burns. This is a serious health and safety issue that should never happen in a professional salon. I was initially promised a full refund due to the injury, but that promise has not been honored. Instead, I received a call from someone identifying herself as "Jenny," who stated she is the owner, asking me to come back in because "she also does hair." That response was both confusing and concerning. After being injured during a basic pedicure, why would I feel comfortable returning for any additional services? It felt dismissive and completely missed the seriousness of the situation. On top of that, instead of resolving the issue, I was sent step-by-step instructions on how to file a complaint with the state board -- as if my injury was something to pass off rather than take responsibility for. That alone shows a lack of accountability and concern for customer safety. Being injured is unacceptable. Being dismissed afterward is even worse. A business that causes harm and then avoids responsibility should not be trusted. I will be escalating this through my bank and reporting to the appropriate authorities. I stopped by today with my mom to get our nails done. This would be our first time here and the reason why we stopped by is due to finding them through Groupon (first time using Groupon) so we had a deal on our services. I got a Honey Pedicure and a french tip acrylic set and my mom just got a sweet pedicure. Our experience I would say was alright. Still questionable. The owner Vince did my acrylic set and he is nice do not get me wrong, and the staff is super friendly! Tina did my pedicure and she was awesome and Sunny did my mother's. However, I have a few things that I'm unsure of and this is the reason behind the 3 star rating. 1.) It would be for my nail set I wanted to do a french tip acrylic short. For my tip it was done straight across rather than curving with my nail. (I was not aware of the different ways for a french tip due to my salon I normally go to always has done the curve) maybe I should have specified but the picture I showed him of the nails I want had the curved french tip so I thought that's what would have been done. 2.) My mother's experience with Sunny was not the best, she advised she told sunny maybe 6-7 times she wanted her toe nails trimmed and Sunny kept filing and not cutting them - My mother also explained she had an ingrown toenail and she was not able to assist - Tina had to come in and assist to trim my moms toe nails and remove the ingrown nail. My mother also has callus on the back of her heel after her pedicure, it was missed. My mom also has cuts on her toe from Sunny and Tina had to put some green stuff on it. 3.) Then lastly, they did not have any paper towels or napkins by the sink to dry your hands after you washed them or in the bathroom. They had tissues in replacement for now, but it was a bit odd to dry my hands with tissue. A few customers were complaining about it as well that I heard while being there. They did advise they are waiting on the shipment for it. 4.) This one I'm a bit questionable on - I do not believe my mother or myself received new tools when our pedicure was being done it seemed like the tools were being taken out of their own little carriers they have in their carts individually. Just a bit iffy on that. They also charge $15.00 to do french tip with curve. I thought French tip is French tip... but with curve it is an extra $5.00. The owner did waive this for me this time however so that was cool of him and I appreciate it!! So all in all - the staff is super friendly! Loved that! I generously gave my card for a $10 tip only to be charged $80 later. I do not recommend anybody use these services. I chose this nailshop to experience the volcano pedicure $100.00. I'm from California and was in Arizona for my mother's surgery. Since the surgery was gonna be 6 hrs I decided to go relax and try to keep my mind off of the surgery. I was tired and exhausted. I arrived after driving 20 miles and was greeted by Vince who was not friendly at all! The nail tech that handles my services was Toni. For my colors I chose a manicure and design set from their website, but wanted the colors on my toes. Once Toni finished it it looked nothing like what was on the site. I asked are you going to do the design and he replied "you want that?" ummmm yes. I was so disappointed in the whole look that I just didn't care anymore. If you have a design on your website then you should be able to deliver if a customer wants it. I will never ever come to this nail shop again. I wasted $100.00 on rudeness and no talent. I also want to add that Toni was also very heavy handed. He would snatch my foot and aggressively put it under the UV Led lamp. Just an overall terrible experience. Do not go here. This was the dirtiest salon I've ever seen, had horrible treatment, and significantly overcharged. Their groupon for a volcano pedicure, says the original price is $130 and that they were offering a 30% off coupon on groupon for it only be $91. However, the sign on their wall says that volcano pedicure only costs $65. I didn't notice this until after, when we were checking out. When I asked the manager, he said that they don't set their prices on Groupon, that Groupon chooses the prices for them, which is not how Groupon works. He then told me if I had wanted the normal price, I should have booked it directly through them and not through the "discount" on Groupon and that their prices on groupon are consistently changing and won't align with the actual price of the service. The pedicure itself was horrendous. I took my mother for mother's day. Her chair was duct taped together and my chair was rocking. If I leaned back, the chair wanted to flip backward. They then had issues with the tub of water that I was using, and were consistently going from touching other people's feet to dipping their hands into my water to try to fix it while I waited my turn, because the jet wasn't working right. Then going from having their hands in the water that my feet were in, back to touching other customers' feet without rinsing their hands off or washing them. At one point, the guy working on my mother next to me, who was using gloves, then came over and started touching my feet with product on his gloves that he had just been rubbing directly on her feet. Then after touching her feet with the product, touching my feet, he went right back to her feet. During the pedicure, when she did the callous remover on the bottom, I flinched a couple times because I'm ticklish, and she very angrily scolded me to not move. In addition to how dirty the place was and all of the broken equipment, they were pulling out tools like a massage gun, their clippers, and a callous grater that were dirty. She was using her hands to wipe off chunks of wax, lotion, and callus from other people before using it on me. With the cuticle trimmers, the nail clippers and the tools she used to push the cuticles back, she was very rough and aggressive, and it hurt. She then put them right back into the tool kit without cleaning them. The hot towels they used were shredded and noticeably dirty, not only did it leave stuff on my legs and feet when she got done, wiping them, but one of my legs and feet broke out in hives after she used it. And the whole time the person in the chair next to me was talking to the person she came with, and my girl could not control her facial expressions and kept turning and giving the girl next to me a nasty glare, and then talking to the nail tech next to her in a different language. They would both then turn and stare at the girl telling the story with dirty looks, very obviously talking shit. On top of how unhygienic, unprofessional, and what a rip-off It was, they had an egg roll station sitting up front with food sitting out at unsafe temperatures, waiting to go in the warmer, and then a warmer of egg rolls that had been sitting there for at least the hour that we were there untouched. Went in for a gel pedicure and dipping powder set. Gel pedicure was fine. The tech asked what i had on my nails and i said it was dipping powder. She asked multiple times which gave me the impression she wasn't familiar. I decided to ask for a manicure instead and it's the worst manicure I've ever seen. They are running Groupon scams. In addition to being overpriced the full set is glueing tbe plastic clear nail on and painting it which leaves it bendable and unstable. If you get a Groupon they will force you to buy $60-100 worth of gift cards depending on what service you had with no 50% off as the Groupon states. This is in addition to already paying for your service on Groupon. Overpriced and unprofessional staff. My nail technician was also wiping her runny nose the entire time with no mask. In addition my nails are different length. Also a child's mani and pedi are $25 each which constituted only of cutting and painting the nails. I've been coming to this shop for awhile now and up until recently never had an issue. The last two times, literally the day after, I have had to return to the shop for the owner to fix my nails. I am not sure if it is the nail tech who has been working on my nails (as she is the common denominator in all of this) the dry equipment or or poor quality polish being used on my nails. While I appreciate the owner fixing my nails and the staff is always nice, I spend too much money on my nails to be inconvenienced and have to drive out of my way 17 mins one way to have my nails fixed literally one day after getting them done. My dipped nails looked like teeth, my cuticles were not done and I lost 3 nails in 48 hours. Thank goodness they offer a warranty! :) Kim totally saved the day! She removed the dip (I wish I could upload the video) clipped my cuticles and brought my hands to life! looking and feeling clean. I would have appreciated an apology and not treated like I was just am complaining customer. The service provided on Saturday was horrible!! This "spa" uses dirty equipment and dirty towels. They used boiling hot wax and burned me on the tops of my feet. Not only was the equipment dirty, the pedicurist applied lotion to my legs, then without washing or changing gloves, worked on another customer's legs, then back to mine. He was in such a rush, that he jabbed me several times with the metal tools. The pedicurist next to me had a massager that was caked with lotion and who knows what, and barely wiped it with a towel before using it on my daughter. They are also selling egg rolls to go, but I do not think they have a license for that, and are NOT using safe food prep procedures. When we arrived, they had a display of egg rolls in a warmer and more on the table, not refrigerated. They did not make more and throw any away while we were there, so they had to be old and unsafe. My chair was duct taped and my daughter's was so loose, if she leaned back, the chair seemed like it was going to fall over. I went to this nail salon after being with the same nail tech for a couple of years. My nail tech has become in a very big hurry and was cutting my often with the drill. This place was VERY refreshing!! A nice calm environment with calming music playing and lots of other patrons relaxing while receiving services. The techs were honest with me. I came in for a full but left with a full set because my previous set was lifting and causing a problem with my natural nails. The techs here are kind, careful and listen to what you would like. They all seem very well educated in their business, and the place is spotless and clean. I absolutely will be back in 2 weeks for my fill! This is going to be longest and worst review I have ever written. I am the easiest going, don't sweat the small stuff person so you know my experience was a nightmare for me to even take the time to type and post this saga online. Im not even joking when I say I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to come out and tell me I am being 'Punked' for 30 min strait. First, this place was dead when I called 4 salons prior that were all booked for whole day. That tells us that despite all these positive reviews on Google, people know to avoid this salon. I was cut 3-4 times during pedi, all my nails were filed in different slanted shapes, no ingrown or cuticle cutting, but folks, that's not even the bad parts. I came in with gel and chrome on my nails, but I wanted regular polish today. I must have spent half the appointment arguing with the nail tech (presumably the owner) on how I please just want regular polish as gel tends to give me ingrowns. She literally puts gel on my toes and I stop her and say no thank you. I don't want gel. Unfortunately, if I wear gel for too long, I have had to literally have surgeries to remove them so its just not worth it and I can't do gel back to back. I then explain this has been the worst pedi I have had and my toes are throbbing from all the cuts and I really just want my regular polish and to go at this point. She has employees come and sit on the side of me by the door as security I guess and everyone pretends not to hear me say that this has been a negative experience and I please, please, please cannot have gel. She literally puts the gel on anyways and everyone is surrounding me dead silent. I booked my appt online through Booksy and the service was $32 before gel. I was charged $55. They said I can't pay wjth a card because their employee needs to run my card and hes gone and I need to wait for him to return. You must be kidding. I say I will pay over zelle or venmo. She literally watches me login to my bank and do entire transaction and I show her it was complete and for the amount etc and she makes me wait until she gets the email. Again, I dont worry about the little things, but I was treated so disrespectfully, was being surrounded, was forced into gel no matter what I said, and was charged pricing that was different from what was discussed. First time coming here July 23rd 2019 because my friend wanted to try out this nail salon and get pedis! I live on the east side and my friend lives on the west side. I just so happened to be on her side of town and we decided to check it out. Friendly workers, an abundance of colors to choose from, and we were able to just walk right in and no wait. Decided to also try gel polish on my toes since my friend says it lasts a long time. Massage chairs were nice, spa packages deals were reasonable and I even decided to treat myself since its been months since I've gotten a pedicure. I got the orange oasis - includes callous remover, orange scrub, hot rocks, nice massage. Not bad right? $31 then extra for gel. It's been a long time since I've gotten a pedicure too and my nail lady did a great job on polish, getting my nails cut nice, massage was nice, however was a little too hard with the callous remover. So hard the side of my left big toe got scrapped hard and started bleeding. It was more than just the dead skin..my nice skin I did let the guy know when I paid when he asked how the service was. He apologized and my nail lady apologized many times. They cleaned my cut up and I got a bandaid with neosporin. I was able to get their 10% off deal from their website, but $42 is still kinda pricey to me in the end. Then leaving a tip, which I paid cash. Hence, I hardly get pedicures. I used to come to this salon all the time but today I came in and I was not treated well. I got a pedi with acrylic and the man performing the services was unable to perform the job. After complaining to Vince multiple times about my pedi I was ignored. My pedi came out okay... yes just okay , but the way my foot was shoved in the led light to dry was so upsetting. Also when it was time to pay i was searching for the additional cash I had, and Vince tried to make it as if I was trying to cheat them out of 5 dollars , when I was counting my dollar bills. When I first walked in it was nice enough. I sat down and they began asking me what kind of nail shape I wanted, I said duck nails. They looked at my nails and then me and made a face. They started doing my nails and they were incredibly rough. When they finished the shaping my nails were most definitely NOT duck nails. They were awful looking almond nails. Then they asked what shade I wanted and I said orange. The person glared at me with disgust and muttered something about stupid privileged high schoolers (I am 23) and said that they only did blue nails. I said I would like a bright blue and they pulled out a PRETTY shade of blue that was exactly what I asked for and began painting my nails. They put on the top coat and all was well. This manicure ended up working out really well since I had a baby shower to attend and the baby ended up being a boy. Overall it was cheap and not very pricey I just did not get exactly what I asked for but I still ended up loving the manicure! I came into Spa-Tastic yesterday to get my nails done. The gentleman that did my nails was very respectful and took his time with me. This was the first time getting my nails done here and I have no cuts and my nails do not hurt, which is a first! I don't typically get my nails done because I'm very picky and I prefer to do them myself. As far as how my service goes It was okay. I give this place a 3 star because they give great pedicures and the gentleman who did my nails was somewhat decent. I know how important Reviews are and maybe I just got someone who wasn't as comfortable with nail art as I was hoping. One thing that I learned is that it's okay to make mistakes, it's good for reviews so nail techs can learn and grow. I really tried to give the gentleman the benefit of doubt but I spent way too much money to not be satisfied. I kept thinking "it doesn't look that bad, just don't look too close." All I asked for was simple nail art. I paid $55 and tipped him $10. I'm not happy with how the nail art turned out. I didn't even notice until I got into my car that the flowers are not pretty. I tried giving him the benefit of doubt until a number of my friends told me how crazy I was to have paid $65 on nails for them to turn out like this. The nails look great except for the nail art. I was a loyal customer, but after my last visit I have decided I don't like to be laughed at when I don't tip enough and I don't want to settle for subpar service....I requested a pedicure with Jennifer, but she decided that she would lie to me about a hair appt, instead she decided to sit around and eat and watch tv on her phone....the fact they routinely don't speak english when they know 98% of their clientele speaks english is rude and leaves me wondering.....too bad they had to ruin our relationship....bye forever! read more

I took my sons Fiancé there for her birthday. They did a good job with the pedicure and it was reasonably priced. These nails however are ridiculous. They charged her $75 for her nails. They cut her multiple places, her pinky nail sticks way up. So for nails I would say skip it. read more
