Glazed, Blueberry Cake, and Buttermilk donuts. YUM
Anola S.

Been her a few times and the associates are so friendly! Classic donut shop vibes, and amazing donuts. Coast+ to use your debit card. The buttermilk donut almost had a coconut flavor to me (which I loved). So fresh and dangerous its next to my house

Out of towner here. Craving some Vietnamese coffee and Sk's Donuts Iced Coffee did not disappoint. Also their Breakfast sandwiches are Top Notch!!

Couldn't even wait to pull out of the parking lot! Everything bagel with egg and cheese! Hot and made to order!

I can only LOVE this place more and more every visit! Always fresh and stocked up with everything you could desire. The price is just right for breakfast treats! The bagel sandwiches are loaded with meat, cheese, and egg! They are so filling! PLUS, SK's Donuts is a LUCKY LOTTO spot! So if you like to play the California lottery, their scratchers are Hot Hot Hot! I always win at least my money back or pay for my donuts! There is nowhere else I would go! Support local and you will not regret it!

I'm from out of town but stay in Oceanside about 3-4 times a year. I always go to SK Donuts when I'm in town. They have the best donuts & the friendliest staff! Today I grabbed donuts for the kids and a ham, cheese & jalapeño croissant for myself. It was delicious!! Don't skip this place!

I even…read morestopped someone who was bringing a box back to our hotel to ask about them, and they raved that the donuts were incredibly soft--almost like a croissant. They were absolutely right! They have a massive selection to choose from, and I ended up trying the French Toast donut. It had that exact light, pillowy, croissant-like texture the other guest mentioned. I also loved that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet like donuts from other shops can be. It was so light that I enjoyed it in the morning and still had plenty of room for breakfast afterward. My only regret is that I didn't have a bigger group with me--I wish I could have ordered a bunch of different flavors to share. I'll definitely be back for more!

My fiancée & I had seen Parlor Doughnuts numerous times after the Oceanside Sunset Market. & every single 1 of those times, we were already too full from grazing at all the food stands by then to give it a try. So on a Saturday afternoon, when we just happened to be nearby, we popped in for some impulse buy doughnuts. With a staggering variety of delicious looking toppings/ flavors, the possibilities looked enticingly intriguing. Staff behind the counter was friendly attentive, & helpful. Although there are some savory options available, which seemed to me like pizza toppings on doughnuts, we stuck with sweet: maple bacon & bourbon caramel. Tried & true flavor combinations, both. But the dough, whoa. For starters, the 2 doughnuts we got didn't have holes. That actually makes a difference in how the doughnut cooks. Secondly, the dough ate more like bread dough than a doughnut. Doughnuts have a hole for a reason. You see, it's physics, son. When you consider how thermodynamics affects an oblate spheroid vs. a toroidal sphere, it becomes evident that a doughnut without a hole will not cook evenly throughout inside. In fact, this was specifically proven on MasterChef Canada Season 8, Episode 8 during a doughnut pressure test. In that episode, Andres forgot to put holes in his doughnuts & they were undercooked in the center. Hey, I did start this review with admitting I'm a nerd who watches too many cooking competition shows. Uniform doneness aside, there was also the breadiness. If I'd been told these doughnuts were some kind of new take on Pan Dulce, maybe I would've liked them more. But given the expectation of a doughnut, what I tried at Parlor Doughnuts just wasn't it. The staff was great, & the toppings were fine. But with the word "dough" literally in the name of the product, to come up short there leaves something to be desired.

I assume they make a certain amount and when they're gone they close and that's probably the way most places do it. Donuts were good, not greasy. I'm not a big donut person so they were ok and comparable to most places that don't have a greasy donut that leaves that oily taste in your mouth. What I really came for was the ham and cheese croissant but it was a little disappointing. Prices were actually much higher than I was expecting. We paid almost $20 for a ham and cheese croissant, blueberry cheese danish and 6 donuts including a cinnamon twist thing that I assume was supposed to be more than the others but I can't wrap my head around $18.30 for what we ordered. I legit think she charged me for 15 donuts instead of 5 cuz I saw something ring up as 15. Based off that I can confidently say I won't return. Items werent worth what I paid and if it was an error charge, the employee should have known that what I ordered was not close to $20 so I cant recommend this place

Entering: Never greeted let alone not acknowledged until it became barely. As someone who has worked all types of jobs, going as far back as when I was a teen myself - this is important. The two youngest ladies, at the register, were deep in their gossip that I doubt they noticed we walked in; only customers. I tried to get their attention but to no avail until I walked over and stood in front on them where their conversation had to be cut short. One of the young girls look a smidgen annoyed while the other was trying to rush to get my order. Quality of goods: I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, to share later with my girls and orders sometime raspberry for my teen son that he could enjoy later on break. The cookie was huge, yes, but nothing that beats the moist and chewy cookies I make myself at home, which I can't currently do since my kitchen is beinf remodeled. I asked my son on his bougie donut, later in the day, and he did the so-so hand and gave it an ok and dry. At end: we will stick to SK for service and quality.

The cashier let me know that the apple fritters I was looking at were fresh out of the oven and still warm, so I had to try those and they were the best apple fritters I've ever had! But we also tried their blueberry cake donuts, maple bars, glazed old fashions, and a few others and all were very soft, luscious, and just a perfect version of that type of donut. I have high standards for baked goods and it only took touching one of their classic sugar covered donuts and feeling just how pillowy soft it was to know they have an amazing rise and fantastic quality. I will be returning here from now on for all my donuts!! The shop is cute inside too. They have small tables for eating your purchase afterwards and offer coffee and tea.
