Came here with a group of 14 people and only had to wait about 15-20 minutes around lunch time, which isn't bad. We were able to to get seated in their back room which was nice and spacious. With our amount of people, we decided to just order several different pizzas and share. I had the opportunity to try the Margherita pizza and their potato and rosemary pizza. Both of the pizzas had good flavor. I personally think that the pizzas themselves are just okay. I think it's the style of pizza because they come out in an oval shape and each slice is very thin. Their crust style is the burnt firewood type of pizza, which isn't my favorite. I'm definitely more of a classic triangle NY pizza style person. Some of the best pizza I have ever had! Normally, I'm highly suspicious of "wood fired pizza". Many places over-char the crust or the toppings are undercooked. But this was perfection! The pizza was gently kissed by the fire, not smothered by it. I took a photo of the crust so you can see what I mean. Personally, I always go for the Margharita Pizza - this was the BEST I have ever had! Simple, clean, fresh basil, delicious sauce. My wife is not always a fan of the margarita pizza, but she went to town on this one! The fennel sausage was tasty and the roasted peppers balanced the sausage nicely. Saw all of the great reviews and decided to try this spot out for a quick lunch. There wasn't a wait when we arrived during lunch time on a Sunday. We ordered the Sweet Fennel Sausage Pizza and the Mixed Baby Greens Salad. The food came out pretty quick which was nice! The portions for both were a little smaller than we'd hoped, but it was all really good! The pizza toppings were really good and the pizza wasn't overly greasy. The mushroom truffle pizza was the best since they use juicy mushrooms and the truffle wasn't overpowering. Crust was incredible fluffy as well. Buffalo mozzarella pizza reminded me more of a margherita style and it was pretty good. Each pizza is roughly a personal size although we were starving so split 3 pizzas among 2 people. I always go to Yelp for advice on food, and this time was ! I ordered 3 awesome pies! Their service was not up to par, however! We kept getting passed around to the point where we almost walked. I understand places get busy, but you must have a strategy to take care of the customer. We were told the waiting list was 1hr+ but couldn't put us on the list because the person that handled the list wasn't available. We opted to do carry out but also couldn't get anyone to take our order. When we finally ordered, we got our order within 20 min as promised! We rushed out of our hotel for Happy Hour as the menu was posted by a Yelper. Come to find out that they discontinued HH. The host (who could have been the owner) mentioned that they moved into a new space five days ago, overhead was expensive, and they are trying to stay "afloat" and that one of the changes they made to make more revenue by cutting HH. Not really something I want to hear as a customer. I know you need to make money but keep the revenue stuff to yourself! We ordered the sweet fennel sausage pizza. It was mediocre, nothing spectacular. Crust was good but I've had better elsewhere. Maybe I'm a pizza snob. Also I took a couple of bites in and tasted what I thought was sanitizer. I had my bf taste it. He didn't taste it, however, he did notify the waiter. The waiter was taken aback about our comment. We let it go since the bf didn't taste what I tasted. Here's the kicker... after we were finished with the pizza, he didn't even offer to ask us if we wanted dessert. It was as if he just wanted us out of the space so he doesn't have to deal with us anymore. I guess as someone who deals in customer service, that's when you need to ask more questions, be more congenial, and get chatty. Not shy away from service! If you are so concerned with revenue, maybe you could have upsold us on dessert. One of the reasons why I picked this place was for the desserts! We visited this place on a late Sunday afternoon so we didn't have to wait for a table which was nice. The restaurant wasn't that crowded since it was an off time, however we did wait a bit long for our food. We ordered the oyster mushroom truffle cheese pizza and the special they had that day which was the eggplant pancetta pizza. Both were really good and would recommend each one! Serious Pie is going down in my book as the best pizza I've ever had. Hands down. There is no place that I have been (and I've eaten a lot of pizza) with pizza as good as this. We went twice during our stay in Seattle and I got two different types of pizza and loved them both. My ONLY drawback with this place is how outrageously expensive it is. It was $37 for me to have a pizza and a soda. That's absolutely wild. They charge a 20% gratuity fee to all bills, and the soda I had was $6!!!! It's a fine balancing act between the value of the best pizza I've had, and knowing I could get two meals at a good restaurant somewhere else for the same price. It's crazy how good their pizza is in this area! I was visiting Seattle this weekend and remember coming here before a long time back, so decided to give this place a try again. I got the Margherita, and it's amazing how good they were able to make that! The crust is really thin but had an awesome crunch to it. They had the right cheese to sauce ratio. And they added some other seasoning to the pizza which was a little peppery spiced, and when that was there at the edge of the crust oh boy that was so tasty! I loved every bite of it. The only thing I have to say is that it is a bit expensive for the pizza you are getting, but it is definitely worth giving it a try. It is definitely meant to feed one person! These pies were delicious! First off I appreciate that there were so many non-typical topping options. The pizza topping combinations are so creative. We had five people so we got 4 pizzas. It was a perfect cool summer night so we decided to pick up the pizzas and eat them on our friend's patio around the fire table. You know a pizza is top of the line when. You can take it to go and it is mouth watering a little cooler than it would be when you eat it in the restaurant. I personally cannot arrest to how good the sausage pizza was since I did not try it but the meat eaters loved it. The crust is so crispy, chewy, and salty that it brings out the the toppings so well. I had a hard time picking a favorite of the veggie pizzas but for me the specialty pizza with chelan cherries, roasted fennel, gorgonzola was my flavorite! The toppings were so unique and combined so well to create a new pizza experience. Don't get me wrong the mushroom and Buffalo mozzarella were also delectable, but the other was so out-of-the-box thinking that it won over my taste buds. Maybe next time I'm in town I will dine-in. We saw that this place had thousands of good reviews, so we called ahead and ordered, asked them if we could get one of their most popular pizzas, and they even timed it so that the pizza would be ready right when we got there. As soon as we opened the box, the aroma was just fantastic. And the pizza was just as good as it smelled!! I'm usually really picky with thinner crusted pizza, but this was seriously so delicious and I actually enjoyed the crust! The flavors mixed really well and there wasn't too much of anything. I shared one pizza with my boyfriend but if I was hungrier, I think I could've eaten a lot more.
