    Sourdough Pasta

Came back again a year later, and omg wow! Food is just as amazing as last time, and I ventured to try different dishes too!! Love their sourdough pasta. Loved even more their seafood stew. And love that they stay open pretty late (most places close ~9pm). Vons 1000 is a Seattle-must!

I ordered takeout dinner from Von's 1000 Spirits in Seattle and I was honestly really excited to try it because I've heard a lot of hype about this place. I got the Tuscan chicken pasta and waited about 15-20 minutes for it. When I say it was good... it was a 10/10 for me. Super flavorful, creamy, and just really well done overall. Definitely one of those meals that makes you want to come back and try more dishes. The ambiance inside (and even what I could see outside) felt really lively. It seems like a popular spot with a good energy, like people are actually enjoying being there and not just eating and leaving. Overall, I would definitely go back. Next time I want to sit down and try something different on the menu.

The best food in Seattle, but the service is a total coin flip. This has been my favorite spot for food quality since 2022, but I always hesitate to bring guests here because the service is so inconsistent. The Food (10/10): The sourdough pasta has a great texture. My absolute go-to is the Original Mac and 4 Cheeses ($25) with added Braised Pork ($5.50). It's an artisan twist on a classic. The jalapeño and pork give it a subtle Mexican vibe that cuts through the richness. I also highly recommend the Spiced Fig, Prosciutto, and Arugula Pizza ($26). The sourdough crust is excellent, and the arugula/fig combo creates that perfect sweet-and-salty balance that feels surprisingly fresh. The Service (Hit or Miss): Unfortunately, the hospitality doesn't always match the kitchen. I brought my family here once, and our server seemed to be having the worst day of their life and decided to take it out on us. It was uncomfortable enough that the food couldn't save the experience. They still remember it as a bad meal. I still come back for the food, but it does make me hesitate before bringing guests. Pro-Tips: * Local Perk: They offer a 25% discount during weekday lunch if you have a Washington State ID. * Hidden Fee: Keep an eye on the fine print. There is a "5% Discretionary Cooks Commission" added to every bill.

I don't know if I'm the only one who daydreams about how good the food is going to be in Heaven. If you've ever thought about it...Go to Von's 1000 Spirits. Olga our server was the best. Her energy, kindness and menu suggestions made this place one of my favorite places to eat when traveling to Seattle. The ambiance, crowd, location and vibe was everything! I'd love to own a place like this.

Not sure where to start. Best meal I had in Seattle. Spent a full day walking around, seeing the touristy spots and bars. Came here for a late night dinner Thursday night without a reservation but were seated right away. The place was lively with patrons but our table felt cozy. Our server was welcoming and very attentive. The drinks were delicious (forgot exactly what we ordered, but all the cocktails looked great on the menu). The fish & chips hit the spot but it was almost too much food for us as we could not get over the king salmon pasta. Maybe it's because I've never had salmon in my pasta, or maybe I've never experienced sourdough pasta. Whatever it was, this dish is a star and I need to come back to eat this again. I'm salivating just writing this. The location is perfect if you're near the waterfront or Pike Market. Can't wait to return!

Vibes, Food, Location, Ambiance... everything was fantastic! I've always wanted to try sourdough pasta and pizza because that is literally my favorite type of bread, so when on business trip, I found this place close to my hotel that sells those, and sure enough I had to come try!! Tellicherry Chicken and smoked gouda pasta $28 - 9/10 - omg their pasta is handcrafted and you can tell by each shape and how they are not all even, which gives it its charm. the garlic, creamy sauce coats so well in the pasta and the chicken was delicious and juicy. the individual pasta noodles are chewy, a little thick, but pairs so well with the sauce Quatre Viande (4 Meat) $26 1000/10 - yeah, I can never have regular pizza ever again. the crisp on this pizza was on point and the sauce was bold with good tomato flavor. They drizzled oil on top and that made it super juicy with each bite. Skillet Cookie ($14) 8.5/10 - you really cant go wrong with a good pazookie. Warm cookie with a cold vanilla scoop, perf way to end a meal. Thanks to the amazing staff for this! we were waiting a while for our cocktail and they gave us a free dessert to make up for it This might have been one of my favorite restaurants I've had in Seattle, def a restaurant I don't mind coming back to on my next trip!

We stopped by here a few times during our trip in 2023 and absolutely loved the food, the bloody merry, the ambience and the customer service. Their pizzas are delicious, my husband loved their fish and chips, we enjoyed their calamari, and overall we thought it was a great spots! One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle! Will's definitely be back

Von's has been repeated several times by referral from many colleagues of mine. I've heard so many raves and reviews about it numerously yet this was my first experience trying it out with a group of colleagues I've hung out with and wanted to keep the chemistry going. Von's is conveniently located in Downtown Seattle at 1225 1st Avenue. Me a a few others visited during early dinner hours, perfect setting for a relaxing time to end the day. Our friendly server introduced himself and pointed out that Happy Hour runs until 6pm. Maybe have the table order from the HH Menu, while the other half ordered from the regular menu. Highly recommend trying out anything that has sourdough in it whether it's pizza, pasta, or just bread on the side. They are known for their sourdough as it is made fresh daily. I ordered the Spicy Fennel Meatballs with Lusty Lady Marinara. On my next visit, I would like to try the Best Classic Hamburger and french fries and skip an appetizer. Von's also has martinis for $7.99! While we didn't drive from our hotel to the restaurant, they don't have designated parking, but there is lot of parking nearby. Street parking around the area and a bunch of parking garages around downtown Seattle. Ride share it back if you've had a few extra adult bevy's. Overall, a wonderful spot for great food, drinks, and views, also great customer service. For now, Food was 4 out of 5. Service I'd give 5 out of 5. Atmosphere also 4 out of 5.

I had a really good experience here recently, when my friend and I came for dinner and drinks before a concert nearby. The servers were so friendly and helpful! For our main dish my friend and I shared the vegan pasta because we can't have dairy, but we added on chicken. It was soo good. I loved the dried tomatoes and the sourdough pasta texture. It was cooked perfectly. We also shared an order of the meatball appetizers. The sauce was delicious and the meatballs were so tender and flavorful too. It was just the right amount of food to share. For drinks my friend had the matcha with cherry blossom foam and she loved it. Its a mocktail. I had the Gin based cocktail "Ginger Blossom", which had a very nice balance of ginger and cherry juice. I would definitely come here again, although it was a bit crowded. Good idea to make a reservation, even on a weeknight.

Definitely on my list to come back and try more menu items again! Came here in a Thursday night and it was definitely busy. Make a reservation so you're not waiting long. Since I had made a reservation or table was ready fairly quickly. Our waiter did take a lonnnng time to get to us and take our order. That was a bit annoying especially since we were really hungry. We got some drinks, pasta, and pizza. The mushroom pizza with hot honey and their spicy sauce was AMAZING!! I would order that again next time. Their chicken pasta was just meh. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor or taste. Maybe I'll try another pasta dish next time. Overall, food was good!

the bacon burger: prime beef, bacon, American cheese + mayo = $18.00
    Trung N.

Von's stays open late and they take walk-ins, so perfect if you're in need of a late night meal. You can get lit on a budget. Order a Scratch Manhattans ($8.99) or Martinis ($7.99). At these prices, they're basically giving them away for free. For food, we shared the following: -crispy Alaskan cod tacos ($16.75): white corn tortillas, crisp slaw, pickled red onion, Von's hot pickled peppers + cilantro & guacamole -the bacon burger ($18.00): prime beef, thick-cut applewood bacon, American cheese + mayo We obviously missed the memo and failed to order anything sourdough ie pizza + pasta, but everything we chose was delish. I loved that they used cod for the fish tacos - it's meaty and withstands any taco topping pressure. The burger was v solid. No complaints there. Given the proximity to downtown, Von's a really good option for late night eating and drinking.

This restaurant stood out for its large selection of alcoholic beverages on display. The ambiance was well suited for its menu and theme, and our waiter was friendly. We really enjoyed the sourdough pizza and we were even given a complimentary burger. We recommend parking near the Pikes garage and walking over since street parking is hard to find. Food came out fast and everything tasted delicious.

Friends were in town and they said that this place is always a must visit when they are in seattle. They are well known for their sour- doughed menu items Came in on a saturday night for dinner around 7pm and the wait was about 30 mins. If you drove, then street parking is the way to go as there is no garage around here. Inside was pretty dim and more spacious then i though since they have an entire back area. Inside the front is where the kitchen and wall of spirits are. Food wise, we ordered the clam and pork confit fries for apps; for the mains, we order the king salmon pasta, bolognese pasta, and the chicken pizza. Everything was great! I think the king salmon was everyone's favorite but i also really enjoyed the clams and bolognese. I just wished the clam appetizer came with more bread and the bolognese pasta sauce was more saucier. We could have passed on the fries though. Oh i also got the porn star cocktail and that was pretty tasty. Overall, a solid place. Would def come back here again. They sell their pasta dried so you can buy and take it home. I think on the weekend, they have 25% off if you show your WA license between 11-2 or something like that
