    Oxtail eggs benedict
    Ya-Wei W.

The food was great, delicious, decent prices. I will say the meat in the oxtail benedict just tasted like regular pulled beef to me, but it was still overall delicious and amazing presentation. My friends and I shared the lychee French toast and ube pancakes which were also great. I didn't taste the lychee much, but the fruits tasted fresh. The ube pancakes weren't too sweet and portions were solid. I asked if they had mocktail options for brunch, and while they didn't have any on the brunch menu they were able to make me one with a 'fruity' taste on request, so that was nice. Great service, great ambience, would love to go again to check out their dinner menu as well!

So good! We went for brunch on a Friday morning and had the place to ourselves. The lychee French toast was sweet and decadent with a healthy serving of lychee, strawberries, and blueberries. Who knew French toast could taste like a multilayer cake! Also had the Silog - a more traditional Filipino breakfast with eggs, sweet sausage, and garlic grilled rice - yum! Beautiful restaurant with friendly service. A great place for brunch.

Y'all. You want some delicious Filipino brunch? Go here. Garlic rice is freaking delicious. Those pancakes though? THOSE PANCAKES THOUGH?! Delightful. I don't believe very many people could finish an order themselves as they are rich (and this is coming from a sugar fiend). Wife had the Vietnamese coffee and loved it. The only tiny gripe is it took a while to get service (around 10 minutes of sitting) - but once we did it was great. 8/10 will return

This is the go to spot whether you want to have brunch with your friends/family or stop by before you go to climate pledge to watch the game/show. The service here is super fast in delivering food to your table. They have a lots of seating here. If you have any events, then you can call them to reserve space. The staff are all very kind and attentive. You can watch them operate from their open kitchen window. You will definitely make it to your game/show even if you only have 30-45mins. They have a bar you can order drinks from too if you need to pregame with really great prices! I've been here for brunch before too and the ube pancakes here were so yummy and bottom mimosas were worth it! They have special happy hour here too! Signature wings- The mango habanero wings were so delicious! The chicken was so juicy while also having a nice crunchy texture on the outside. Crispy roll- it is lumpia with some sweet and sour sauce. We ate that up sooo fast! It was so yummy! Very fast snack to eat before catching the show.

    Garlic noodles with tocino

The last time my friends and I decided to come here, it was fully booked for a party. This time on a Friday evening around 5pm we got seated immediately since there were still plenty of open seats though they were starting to fill up as time went on. This place is a high-end-like Southeast Asian fusion restaurant with some Vietnamese and Korean influences to name a few. You'll see some lighted up signs of some clever slogans around the walls, and my group of 4 were happy to be able to sit near some of them. This is a bar setting, so it gets really noisy in here and sound vibrates throughout the inside. Menu consists of entrees, appetizers, and a ton of wine and alcohol. I got their garlic noodles with tocino (pork with flavoring and some red coloring) as my meat. This is a dish with a bunch of garlic and other sauces, along with a poached egg. Honestly, without the tocino the noodles are pretty plain, and the garlic wouldn't have been enough. I couldn't taste much soy sauce either on my dish. The real winner was the tocino, which was packed with tons of flavor... and the only thing packed with flavor. It did, however, have so much flavor that it almost made up for the shortcomings of just this one dish. We were provided with fast and great service, especially on water refills and just getting our food, which took only around 10 minutes. My friends enjoed their Woo burger and tofu with black bean sauce, though I did not try those dishes myself. It's not likely that I'll go out of my way to come back here, though.

Aesthetically pleasing! Yummy food! Since moving to Seattle, I've been trying to find a good brunch spot. This one was excellent! It had yummy food options! I love the lychee French toast! It's great that it doesn't have cinnamon in it! The Saigon Palomar was refreshing!

We stopped by on a Saturday around 2pm without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us immediately. Our server was attentive, helpful and friendly. My husband had the mango habanero wings. He liked the flavor - a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I had the Kraken Calamansi Ceviche (Octopus, shrimp, pico de gallo, cucumber) with sinigang rice paper. It was one of the best ceviches I've ever had. The rice paper is slightly spicy and salty. They gave me a sinigang-inspired sauce that elevated the ceviche to a whole new level with ginger and Bird's Eye chili (Prik Kee Nu). It was so spicy it almost made me cry but it was delicious so I couldn't stop eating it. I also had the spicy mule and it was refreshing. The place itself is beautifully decorated. I love the accent walls with fun lighted phrases on them. The restroom has a bunch of plants, making it beautiful. Highly recommend!

Brisket Benedict + Lychee French Toast

Woo Bar has a ton of potential but they may be impacted by the economic turn more than anything. For brunch the had one front of house staff waiting tables, bartending, and serving during my time. The lychee french toast was tasty but had so much more potential if it would have come with the lychee and jackfruit as mention in the description. The space is beautiful and modern fitting but missing a few things.

This review is based solely on the cocktails I tried, as I didn't have the chance to sample the food. The ambiance was bright and relaxed, making it a perfect spot to chill after walking over from the Space Needle. We stopped by for some cocktails and were pleasantly surprised by the two drinks we tried. They were both incredibly tasty and enjoyable. Although it was a mid-week afternoon and the place was quite empty, probably busier weekends and for dinner. I would definitely return for their drinks.

Overall: A // 5 stars Asion fusion restaurant near the Space Needle area serving up very intriguing Southeast Asian flavors. The restaurant is large, spacious, aesthetic and doubles with a bar area; even when short staffed, our server was proactively helpful and consistently checked in, which is a difficult feat not to be understated. Very pleasant meal with new flavors that is a welcome addition to Seattle. (Tamarind Wings: D) - Great concept that should work well; unfortunately, I found them just a tad dry and underseasoned. The sauce is really delightful and I wish there was more. (Steak and Watercress: B) - Flavor development here is immaculate; the chimichurri brings so much flavor to the steak, which is reasonably tender; the watercress, pickled onion, and crunchy garlic combo also is self fulfilling with bright acidity and sweetness. If the presentation were improved, as well as using less thick watercress, this would be a home run. (Dark Knight: B) - More vibrant take on a drink from the old fashioned family; the citrus and kahlua help bring levity to the drink without making it watery. I do think there was missed potential for elevated presentation such as an espresso rim. (Ly to Me: A) - Lychee-based palette friendly cocktail that has an impressive command on fruit; the additional citrus notes help give structure to the drink so it tastes well constructed. Food: +1 Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: +1 Service: +1 Menu: +1 Overall: 5 stars Insta/Yelp/Beli/TikTok: @amei_eats

    Ube espresso martini

Stopped by before hitting a concert at Climate Pledge. Super friendly service. Yummy speciality cocktails. I didn't order food but did have the classic margarita which was delicious. A friend had the ube espresso martini and gave me a sip. Looked beautiful but a bit thick for my taste. Several beers on tap available and few bottles too. The bathroom was actually really cute and I had to take photos. Super clean and decorative. A few blocks from the Seattle center. The entire staff was helpful and the whole vibe here cool. I liked that it wasn't super packed. Great atmosphere.

Pardon some of the pictures, we forgot to snap them before we started digging in. My boyfriend and I have been eyeing Woo Bar since they opened, and finally decided to stop by during Happy Hour. We were sat immediately and the hostess/waitress was super nice. We ordered a Sapporo, the house fries, the Philippines sliders, and the garlic noodles. Everything came out hot, quick, and delicious. The sliders were really flavorful and definitely our favorite dish we ordered. The garlic noodles were pretty light, we wish there was a bit more depth and more incorporation of Asian flavors, but not bad. The fries also came out hot and super crispy, but could have used more salt and some other seasonings. The decor here is honestly pretty representative of our overall thoughts on Woo Bar, which is that it has potential but it really needs to find their identity. There was a mix of furniture that looked sleek and high end, but also neon signs that looked like they'd be in the bedroom of a teenage girl in 2017. There were lantern lights and plants that felt Mexican inspired, but also baseball games and burgers on the menu. Overall, Woo Bar has potential. The food was cooked well, just needed more depth. The menu needs to be edited for more cohesion, and the decor needs a revamp, but we still enjoyed our meal there.

Over all a 4.5 star place for brunch! The food was filling but definitely on the higher end of prices. They have a blend of south East Asian breakfast dishes. Tried the silog with sausage and the crab Benedict. Both and with generous sides. Service was attentive and filled out coffees! The ube espresso martini was a bit of a let down because all you taste was the alcohol. I do feel like that after some good marketing they will have this place poppin for brunches! On the menu they do have mimosas!!! Will definitely need to come back with the girls!!

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I underestimated the attractiveness of Happy Hour where many drinks are $1 to $3 off. The place was full and became even fuller (and louder) by the end of our meal. This bar is hopping with many regulars, alcohol-filled, with multiple screens televising sports. When we went in October, the food menu says the food is discounted 25% off during certain late hours. The current online menu doesn't say that anymore. Not sure if that deal is still available. Our server was easygoing. Note they charge 3% for credit card use. The Food: SRB Burger, $22 - 3 Stars Menu: Painted Hills beef, burrata mozzarella, basil aioli, arugula, pickled onions, hand cut fries Per the menu description, this burger sounded great. Unfortunately for hubby, this burger has the exact pet peeve that he dislikes the most - where the patty is small and tall (he calls it ball shape) compared to the bun. The patty diameter is significantly smaller than the bun. He literally hates that. I had to tilt the camera much lower to see the patty inside. On the plus side, the fries are great. Grilled Shrimp Club, $24 - 3.5 Stars Menu: bacon, lettuce, tomato, house made guacamole, roasted chipotle aioli, hand cut fries This club sandwich is very good except for the one thing that the menu didn't specify - the bun. They use ciabatta bread, which I find doughy, thick, and overwhelms a sandwich. That is my pet peeve for a sandwich. Neither of us is betting well on this night. They are probably more of a 3.5 Stars overall. We find their prices to be high, especially since they additionally charge a credit card fee. When we went, the cost was $21, $23 respectively. The prices are now $22 and $24 per online menu. I would not return for food only. I would return for a bar vibe.

I would love to have a nice bar to patronize, but the bar food menu doesn't match bar food vibe. I am curious what dinner would be like here. Whoever owns this bar and whoever is curating this menu is absolutely a music head. No debate. And here's your gentle PSA: please pass that love of music AND hip-hop history to your waitstaff. Because what happened to me... was personal. There are three drinks on the menu that basically scream, "someone in here grew up on hip-hop and never emotionally left the 90s." We've got: ATLiens Aquemini 2 ____ a Butterfly (fill in the blank, but if you know, you KNOW Kendrick Lamar, 2015) Now listen this is not "aqua-mini." This is Outkast. Andre 3000. Big Boi. Southern rap royalty. It is pronounced Ah-kwim-in-eye The waitress looks me dead in my soul and says, "Oh, you mean the Aqua-mini." I was transported out of my body. Now here's the issue: I would've let it go...if a Kendrick Lamar song wasn't also on the menu. Because why are we confidently mispronouncing Outkast while casually referencing Pulitzer-level rap on the same drink list? At that point I realized I was surrounded by people under 34 who had never had to wait for TRL, decode a CD booklet, or defend Southern rap. No one in my group shared my emotional breakdown. Not one gasp. Prices & Drinks (important part): Let's talk about the $18 drink situation. I paid $18 for an Aquemini and received...vibes. Not buzz. At $18, I expect at least a whisper of alcohol. Instead, I got decorative hydration. My husband's Blueberry Smash? Better. More flavor. More personality. So now I'm sitting there thinking: I paid premium pricing for a drink I had to defend and pronounce correctly myself... and still left sober. Food: I was a little hungry and ordered fried shrimp (not on the online menu) The shrimp was fine. Just fine. The dipping sauce tried its best, and I respect that effort. Why is everything either wagyu, mussels, duck, or something you need a culinary degree to pronounce like gruyere but I can't just get a basic bar plate? Wagyu sliders, chicken bites would have been nice because I don't usually go out thinking, "Tonight feels like Wagyu and mussels at the bar." Service: I'm from Los Angeles, so I'm familiar with urban sketchy with a side of vibes. The activities near the parking spaces was very sketch. I was with a group of 8, including my husband so I felt protected by numbers. Inside, it was a Friday night but surprisingly empty. The music was loud enough to feel like a party, but quiet enough that you could still hear each other. We tried to rearrange seating to accommodate our group and the waitress said "I'm not walking around you, so keep this aisle clear." Which was fair, but also, there are gentler ways to say "I need this walkway." Or tell us the better way to set up seating in the empty bar. I didn't have a second drink frankly because I was never asked. Most places I go the waitress will come and ask if I want another drink. I don't live in Seattle, so this was my intro to night time bar life in the city. Sleepless in Seattle? I think in 2026 it's more like Sleepy in Seattle by looking at the emptiness.
