Great spot for some hearty, comforting 국밥, deliciously paired with their refreshing 깍두기! The 순대 is also pretty popular, from Ma Youngae which is also sold in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Was craving some stews and decided to come here for lunch. We ordered Yook gae jang & soondae guk. Everything was good including the side dishes. Service was great. I believe they speak limited English.

My family and I came here on a bitterly cold day craving nourishing Korean bone broth stews, and Seoul Ttukbaegi absolutely delivered. The doganitang was deeply rich, comforting, and just as satisfying as the longtime spots known for their giant vats of stew. Portions were very generous, served in large ttukbaegis that stayed piping hot. The bossam was another highlight -- tender, warm pork paired with ice-cold radish salad heaping with fresh oysters. Wrapped in napa leaves, the contrast of temperatures and textures worked beautifully. The sundae was fresh and beautifully-seasoned too. Highly recommend if you're craving warmth, comfort, and true Korean jeong. Will definitely be back.

Came here for lunch and the food was delicious, fresh, and enjoyable. Ordered a soup which was tasty and the broth was natural refreshing and little to no taste of msg. Also ordered blood sausage and it was well made and on spot. Really enjoyed it! Like any other Korean restaurants, this place offers complimentary small appetizers with unlimited potato and green leek refilling

Seoul Ttukbaegi has officially become our favorite spot for seollongtang and similar bone broths! I'm very much sticking by my previous review of it being hearty, homey, and delicious. The oxtail soup here is my favorite - it's piping hot, deeply savory, and already well seasoned. I love adding a few scoops of the scallions (provided to you to add to your liking), as well as a bit of black pepper and the spicy paste. The extra $7 compared to the sulleongtang is actually really worth it - they don't skimp on the oxtail pieces (I got 6!). It also comes with glass noodles, whereas the seollongtang has wheat flour noodles. Both are equally delicious - just depends on what you're feeling. The radish & kimchi here are so good - as expected of any seollongtang restaurant. And the best part is having the extra radish refills right next to you! Service is always wonderful here - attentive & kind without being overbearing. The restaurant is always clean and cozy. Prices are super reasonable, and portions are generous.

Very authentic korean comfort food. Oxtail soup is sooo good. Large portion with low price. Highly recommended !

Delicious food, friendly staff (although there will be a small language barrier if you don't speak Korean), Clean and hospitable/homey environment. The side dishes we were served were Radish kimchi and Napa kimchi, both of which were delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and would ask us if we wanted refills, cutting the kimchi at our table or scooping more radish out of a jar for us. We ordered soondae (blood sausage) which came with a few other cuts of meat. I'm not personally a fan of soondae, but the people I went with enjoyed it. There are condiments at the table that you can have with your soondae. We also had a seafood pancake which was crispy and filled with green onions and squid, with sauce on the side. I ordered the Dogani-tang (Ox knee bone soup) which is one of my favorite dishes. You season this soup yourself with salt, green onions, and pepper provided at the table. The soup came with plenty of tendons/meat, more generous than a lot of places I've tried in the area. My friends ordered the Samgye-tang (chicken soup) and the Ggogal-tang (oxtail + galbi soup) and everyone absolutely loved their dishes. This is a restaurant I see myself returning to again and again. :)

Ate here today for lunch before going to work seasonally at the US Open with my mom to try this place out for the first time. We both shared and tried 2 different types of soups together which was the chicken soup and ox bone and beef knee soup. Overall, it had tasted really good and delicious that the soup was savory and rich. The service there was also attentive and great. We couldn't agree more. Finally, I definitely would eat and come back again next time.

We came here for dinner on a Sunday night and were immediately seated wherever we liked because there was no one else there at that point although the restaurant did fill up as the night went on. My friend and I ordered the oxtail soup and seollontang with a side of seafood pancake and steamed dumplings... everything was DELICIOUS. We inhaled all of it eventhough we were so full by the end, it truly reminded me of traditional home cooked Korean food. I love that they have spices on the table and bring you a whole bowl of scallions to customize to your liking. Will definitely be coming back and craving this all the time as someone who loves soup :) The service was also really good but I did come with a Korean friend so most of the exchange was in Korean. The restaurant itself is clean and no frills but definitely a hidden gem in Flushing and worth checking out!

a whole bowl of scallions for us to add to our liking

Whenever it's raining and cold, soup comes to mind. And if we're talking Korean food, a good solleongtang (ox bone soup) shall heal all. We found this on the whim, so I didn't expect the nice local ambiance. I always take it means the food is going to be good! The service was very friendly. For banchan, they give a whole bowl of the radishes. Their kimchi was very spicy, signs of authenticness. The Seollangtang ($15.99) was served bland, for you to add in seasoning and scallions to your liking. Note there was no ox bone in this soup, just thin slices of dry beef unfortunately. It also did not come with rice. The Kimchi Jeon ($17.99) was not the best I had. Their soy sauce had some wasabi alongside it, which could be an interesting medley of flavors. There was a lot of kimchi to this jeon, and I don't think I'm a fan of bigger sliced kimchi in my pancake. Lastly, the Seoul Bossam ($34.99) was a big dish, with tons of meat. But the bossam was so absolutely bland and unseasoned, you just can't eat this on your own. Adding the radish and cabbage in a wrap completely upgraded the taste. I was really enjoying this flavorful fresh tasting combo, until I started noticing a fishiness. And that's when I discovered the raw oysters in the radish. That was my first time having oyster radish salad, and given the fishiness, that will be my last. Personally, as much as a warm nutritious soup was what I needed, the prices didn't justify the meal.

The food is great. The menu is on the smaller side. There aren't much service but it's easy to get their attention when needed. The place is clean and very minimal.

There's 2 waitresses and one busser, but I felt only one of the waitress was pulling the weight, while the other (maybe she's the owner?) mostly chatted with one of the table customers. I felt bad for our waitress she was so busy with fulfilling takeouts + dine ins and the dishes require a lot of servicing table side. She couldn't catch 1 second of break :( Food wise, we got their 2 person combo of spicy pork gamja tang and spicy rice cake which came with the steamed egg. Everything was so good, egg was extra fluffy, rice cake was delicious and the meat came right off the bones. They take a good variety of side dishes. My partner wasn't a fan of the gamja tang but due to feeling it's a hassle to eat meat with bones, so those who fee sim may agree. We also asked for the fried rice after we finished the gamja tang, for 2 servings I think it was $4.75 or something. I really enjoyed it but I guess I like scorched rice, also something my partner doesn't enjoy so those we feel sim just note. Environment feels very old school, well worn. Feels cozy. It can get loud very quickly on a Saturday night as this place seems to be a hit for large parties. Since the wait staff is short handed, expect a bit of a wait for things. Don't come if you're in a rush.

Geo Si Gi is highly known for their signature gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup). Ordered the Gamjatang & Grilled Mackerel Set - $52.95 (for 2) The gamjatang is perfectly spiced - bold and warming without overwhelming heat (and trust me, my spice tolerance is low!). Instead of the usual red kimchi, they load it with long strips of green napa cabbage, cut right before your eyes before serving. Some bean sprouts, watercress on top, with tender potatoes, chewy rice cakes, and massive pork bones that fall right off - so meaty and flavorful. Served with a side of sweet mustard sauce. Pure comfort on a cold day. The grilled mackerel was enormous and incredibly plump - way bigger than expected! As an oily fish, it's rich and satisfying, but we barely made it through a third. If you're a mackerel fan like me, it's a must-order. . Banchan were simple and homey: nothing flashy, just solid classics. Bonus: it comes with fluffy steamed egg (jjim) that rounds out the meal perfectly. I can eat an entire bowl of rice with just the steamed egg . This set was massive for two - we left with about 1/4 of the soup and 2/3 of the fish! Pro tip: Save some broth and ask them to make fried rice with it at the end. Game-changer. . Highly recommend for hearty, soul-warming Korean food in Flushing!

She was stressing about cooking the food and some of it was getting overcooked but also our banchan didn't get refilled because of it.
