John the manager was very nice and informative during the showing process. The indoor facility looked very clean and appeared to be safe. Looking forward to moving my stuff in. read more

I have used many storage places and have most satisfied with this one. Great service and very clean unit.

Check-in update: *I don't have a smart phone but a really dumb phone so I will manually do my check-in update!" I have been a customer at Security Public Storage in Daly City now for 6 months. I want to give my best pimp slap, high-five, props to the property's cleanliness and to the wonderful staff and manager, John & Desiree. You have been a great with your customer service! read more

The cleanest public storage ever! Look for John and he will give you the best rate that caters your storage needs. Highly recommended!!!

Came here recently to rent a storage space, and right when I came through the doors, my friend a I were warmly greeted and felt right at home. The manager, John, was very personable and the paperwork went smoothly. Highly recommended! read more

Facility is ok. However, I'm very suspicious of all the five star reviews here. They raise the rent on a regular basis. These folks are greedy. On the 2nd and 3rd floors, doors are narrow making it very difficult to maneuver. Don't even try to use one of the larger carts above the ground floor! Signs, signs, everywhere signs (in broken English)! "Put cart back where it park", "You are on camera!! DUMPING IS ILLEGAL!!!, etc.. If we were actually on camera, the sign wouldn't be necessary. So many signs, they cancel each other out. Nobody would read them all. Makes me feel like in an inmate rather than a customer. Besides...if you are going to scold me, please do it in proper English! read more

John the manager is the best! So accommodating and professional. I originally thought storage units are scary, sketchy but not here, units are all very clean, airy and 1st and foremost, SECURE. I would definitely recommend this place for your storage needs. Prices are reasonable and the other tenants are not ghetto. read more

Great place, it was clean and spacious. The staff is courteous and helpful. The manager is friendly and pleasant. I have been to other storage facilities that did not care for the renters and it was not a great experience when you are treated like a nuisance. This place has everything I needed with a great staff and beautiful view. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a storage facility. read more

My husband and I have been storing our property at Security Public Storage for the last 4 years. This place is great because it's safe, secure, clean, and is staffed with employees that are friendly and helpful. The building is also well lit and has plenty of dollies and carts to use for transporting your belongings. I like the fact that over the past couple of years the facility has been upgraded with a new front office, diamond plate flooring, and a new keypad box that lets renters punch-in their codes to exit the main gate. Overall, I highly recommend that you check-out Security Public Storage for your storage needs. You won't be disappointed. read more

This is my first experience with using Public Storage, but wow I am very impressed with this place. Very clean, safe, and most of all very helpful staff. John, an employee at the site helped me get started and was very helpful in getting us started with choosing the right storage for our needs. Thanks John! read more

In lite of a few technical difficulties with yelp, this review is a bit late for posting. In any event, I would like to express my gratitude to Security Public Storage and management (John) for being so reliable and flexible. Late on the evening of July 3rd, I was in need of a storage unit. Short notice and 15min before closing the manager John at the Hyde Ct site accommodated me beyond normalcy. He went out of his way going above and beyond his call of duty by making an unusual exception to ensure my needs were met. John stayed passed closing time allowing my family and I to finish unloading and moving into the two last available units that evening. John was highly professional, knowledgeable and performed his job with excellent skill and communication. Taking a risk of being written up by not turning me away and allowing me to finish moving in, shows empathy and just what kind of people this company employs. In addition, the bathroom was very neat, well stocked and clean. Overall the entire site was exceptionally clean and free from any trash or clutter. Unlike many storage facilities, the floors inside are well kept and clean as well. In many casas you get what you pay for, not in this case. The prices are low, discounted and very cheap in comparison to many other low maintenance storage facilities who charge high prices and pay no attention to the grounds. The Hyde Ct. location represents high value and assumption of more expensive rates. When arriving for the first time I was very impressed. After how quickly John processed my transaction and allowing us to finish moving in, there are no words to express how that feels. My sincere apologies for any negativity I may have caused to John from upper management by extending hours of operation that evening. Five stars for Service and for Everything Else!!! read more

Great place to store. Nice, clean, and safe. Friendly staff.

I haven't had a problem with this storage facility. Everyone is super nice and I would suggest this storage facility to others. I have no problems accessing my storage unit and I feel my things are secure and safe. read more

Everyone here was super nice and helpful. They were attentive and answered all my questions completely. I was moving in all my stuff because I had not found a new home yet and they completely understood. JC, the manager, even offered to not book anything yet on the day I went in because I had an open house that same day. He suggested I not book it yet until I was sure I didn't have a home, which I felt was super thoughtful. I would definitely come here again if I needed more storage services. read more

Great storage units, great prices and the staff is amazing. Especially the Manager John. Clean facilities and very safe, I suggest Security Public Storage in Daly City for all your storage needs. read more

Geat staff. Clean and secure facility. I definitely recommend this to store your items...short or long term. I stored my apartment belongings there for a short time during a transition in the summer and when I moved back I went from a large storage to a smaller one to keep seasonal items. I go there whenever I need the extra things I don't want sitting around in my apartment. They worked with the pricing for me and how much I really wanted to spend each month. It's definitely worth it....being a pack rat and now I have a clutter free home. Yay! read more

I met Desiree and she was very personable, kind, helpful, and very sincere. She answered all my questions and even gave suggestion. Most importantly she didn't pressure a sale. She took me for a tour and showed me around the facility and its features. The place looks really clean, ample parking wide access, and very secured with many cameras so I'm quite happy. I don't have to worry about thefts. Thank you Desiree for your professionalism. read more

This place has excellent customer service. I've been an active customer here for a while and there has been no problem whatsoever every time I come here to take cate of business. Great management team! I went to the unit after begin away for several years overseas and my key didn't work on the lock. The management team did a great job making it easy for me to get in again and put on a new lock. Really nice people. I liked to new look of the office too. read more

i managed my storage unit from nyc for five years. i've had to call up a few times, but overall, i had little to no interaction with the team at sps. not a bad thing -- i just never had an issue or needed to call them. all that changed last week when i was finally ready to clear out my storage unit. i showed up with keys to my unit and that was it. didn't know my access code, unit number, or anything. both evelyn and john were there to help and they were great! i was in and out over the next few days donating, recycling and hauling junk -- they were always friendly and ready to answer any questions i had. if you need storage, this is the place to go. it's an incredibly well-maintained and clean facility. and as secure as it can be -- everyone has a personalized code that links to their unit. looking back, i was *very* lucky i chose this facility. no complaints and i almost wish i had more stuff to store...almost! read more

I rarely write reviews & felt this place definitely warranted one. The customer service & response time is very professional. This is a really great storage place & always offers great deals!! The location is convenient & very private. The staff is exceptionally helpful & friendly. It's very well run & managed John is the manager there & he and Desiree are awesome! I actually forgot to fully lock my unit's lock & they were kind enough to replace my lock & notify me of unit not being fully locked. I really appreciate this as I could have lost valuable items. I would recommend this place anytime to anyone looking for a great professional place, well managed & great deal. read more

I was lucky enough to find this storage facility not far from my house three years ago. In all that time, my things have been safe and secure. A reliable place to store your belongings! read more

This is my second review for a 5% reduction in this month's rent. I'm pleased to have a storage so near to where I am living (across the street) and I am so pleased to live without feeling cramped by "stuff". The hours of operation are convenient with entry by code until 7 PM nightly, slightly earlier on weekends. The facility is cleaned and well-maintained. I appreciate the consistency of service. read more

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? All the comments below are true! John the manager takes customer satisfaction to a new level. He took care of all my concerns, worked out a great deal for me. I also needed to up grade to a larger unit once I arrived with my movers and all my things, and he was all smiles during the entire process. Miguel and John helped me get everything taken care of in minutes. John even shared some of his lunch with me! How awesome is that! Moving days can be so stressful they made it a pleasant experience for sure! I feel with the security and location of this storage facility all my antique furniture will be fully secure and taken care of. I really lucked out finding this place. If you have things to store this is the place. Oh and I also found out that they have FREE trucks the renters can use to transport their belongings to one of their storage facilities. Yet another perk of this company. No complaints at all. Five stars all around!!! read more

First off, this place is near home so its a big plus. When they say security, they mean it! security is monitored 24/7 which is great because i don't have to worry about my stuff getting tampered with. The place is very spacious, wide hallways to get around the facility easily and they always have carts available for use. The staff couldn't be better because they're always there to help! Great prices and they sell all your moving needs in the front office. read more

I was pressed for time in finding a Public Storage Unit, so when searching, I fell upon Security Public Storage, being it was located VERY close, it was my first option, plus the reviews were a "push" for me to check it out. I met Evelyn and asked about a certain size unit, luckily, they had one left over, booked!!! She was very helpful and accommodating to my needs. The area is VERY clean, the unit as well, I highly recommend this place!!!!! read more

Great staff and great location. Always clean and well kept. Plenty of parking, hand carts and vending machines. Fantatstic service and nice specials. I could not be happier with my first storage rental experience at public security storage in Daly City (99 Hyde ct) read more

Great location and staff! I have been here for several months and believe it's a secure and safe place for my personals. Close to my old apartment and appreciate the wonderful customer service! Great prices and discounts available to new and continuing customers! Whatever you do, do not take your things to Public Storage on King Drive if you are considering it...got stuck in elevator and there was no staff available to assist! Plus the elevator permit posted in the elevator was expired!!! Go see Josh or any of the staff at this Security Public Storage location today and ask for any special offers for new customers! read more

I've been really happy with my decision to get my storage unit with Security Public Storage in Daly City. The facility is very secure and the move-in was easy. The facility is well maintained and easy to access and the staff were extremely friendly and made the move in process pain-free. It was one of the best priced units I could find and they offer great incentives and discounts to their renters. If you need a storage unit I highly recommend this business. read more

I kept some of my things in storage here for over a year, and I had nothing but a positive experience. The site is secure and accessible from 280 or 380. I never had trouble getting in or out of the premises. The staff was always on hand, friendly and helpful. They send you an electronic invoice each month, even if you set it up for your card to be charged automatically. The rates were reasonable given the area, but seemed totally worth it once I consider the facility's security and accessibility as well as the helpfulness of the staff. I highly recommend considering this business for storage needs. read more

So secure you'll get locked in after 6:30pm. The place is clean and has many dolleys for you to use to move things in and out which is convenient. The staff I met John is very nice and courteous. Each storage unit is armed with an alarm if you don't open the gate with your own code as an added security measure. The price is definitely a bit higher than other places but you can get a good discount for the 1st month and 10% off 2nd if you write a review. read more

The facility has never been crowded and the storage areas and surroundings are well lit and neat and clean. You can't visit your belongings late at night which is something I desire. Once I entered the facility near closing only to be locked in and no one from SPS was available. There was no mechanism to get out other than calling the fire department. I almost never see any employees. There are no garbage containers should you need to get rid of anything nor are there any curtesy carts to move heavy items. read more

Well kept facility with excellent attentive staff. First time self storage user and am fortunate this location was so convenient. Carts are always available, there are two spacious elevators, plenty of accessibility to actually maneuver a loaded cart through the halls (and more importantly, doorways), and both Evelyn and John are professional and helpful in answering any questions. read more
