Broiled scallops and corn
Jenn K.

Hole in the wall place with a wait! Love that. I recommend the fried food because it was pretty darn good. I got the broiled scallops and they forgot to bring one of my sides. Do not recommend the crab stew. It's just clam chowder and they say they put crab in it, but I didn't see any and you can't taste it.

Lunch fried shrimp comes with two sides.

Another great lunch at Seafood Kitchen. Love their food and they have an excellent staff. I had the lunch fried shrimp with coleslaw baked potato and comes with hush puppies. Wife had deviled crab. Sorry no photos. Plenty of parking out front. Great food love to support a local small business.

Combo for two. A LOT of food.

Good food at reasonable prices and big portions. My wife and I really could have shared the combo platter for one instead of the two we bought.

Not bad!
Miranda R.

We go to this place every time we are in St. Augustine. The service is always amazing. Very fairly priced. Best hush puppies I've ever had. Really enjoyed my crab legs. Restaurant is large and spacious. We've always been seated right away. Sides go crazy, they give you so much food.

Wellllll, the service was excellent. Waitress was kind and attentive. Atmosphere was okay but no nice view of anything and outdoor seating seemed dull. The fish was delicious (fried "triple tail"). The salad was kind of mehhh. The key lime pie was pretty bad but waitress gladly took it off the receipt.

Blackened shrimp and mahi

We have been here twice in about a week. Both times for lunch. We had the fish/shrimp special both times. Blackened shrimp and fish. First time was Mahi and the second time Wahoo. Sweet potato and coleslaw for sides. Amazing taste of the fish and shrimp.

Oysters, mahi, shrimp, clams, deviled crab, potato, corn,

The combination platter was over the top good! Fresh fish. Great flavors. A very busy restaurant

Best seafood we ever had. We ate here 3 times during our week long stay. It was that good folks.

It's tucked away in a strip mall, so it definitely wasn't what we expected, but don't let the location fool you, this place is a hidden gem. The inside has a fun, laid-back beach vibe, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Our server was super friendly, attentive, and took great care of us. We ordered the redfish special, which was blackened Redfish, topped with crawfish étouffée, served over a grit cake. Everything on the plate worked together perfectly, and the fish was cooked just right. We also had the homemade chips with salsa and beer queso. The queso isn't your typical Mexican-style queso, so don't go in expecting that. It's a rich, flavorful beer queso, and I actually really enjoyed the different twist. It paired perfectly with the fresh, crispy chips. They also have a cute little bar that looked like a great place to grab a drink. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu. If you're in the St. Augustine Beach area, this spot is absolutely worth checking out!

The burger I ordered "Medium"- came out pretty much well done. FF were barely warm. Appears they use frozen &/or old ground beef. As it was very dry & didn't taste fresh. Perhaps just an off day for the cook. we won't be back- too many other food choices in the area.

The inside is just as impressive with it's "oil and gas" theme, it's rather small but we were able to get seated without a wait even though it was nearly filled. The staff here was very inviting and attentive, the menu is also themed and fairly priced, we ordered "The Ford Galaxie" two eggs your way, a choice of meats, choice of toast or biscuits and home fries or grit - although the winner here in my opinion is the coffee it's delicious, strong and robust. Unfortunately everything here wasn't perfect the "West Creek Whipped Spread Butter Blend" is an abomination, it ruined everything we put it on, my bad for not asking for real butter after applying it to my toast, my grits and the English Muffin we ordered, it was inedible to the point we left everything on the plate this stuff touched it wasn't refrigerated as suggested on the label I'm guessing. I usually eat only real butter so what was I thinking - so my dilemma is how do I review this place fairly based on that stuff and the fact it ruined our food since we loved everything else. Well I guess they'll get three stars for now and I'll return and maybe bring my own butter because this place is a place you really want to love...

Our server was attentive at the start--she took drink orders as each portion of our group arrived and kept things moving smoothly. As we got closer to closing time (2:00 PM), service shifted a bit. About 15 minutes before closing, as we were wrapping up, our server stopped checking in. This was our first visit, though friends in our group had been once before and described it as "just okay," which felt accurate to us as well. We always like supporting local spots, and this was an easy meeting location, so we were hopeful. It's also worth noting they currently hold a strong 4.5 rating, and it seems like many locals really enjoy this place. That said, the biggest drawback for us was the portion size compared to the pricing. One person in our group ordered a Reuben, and the meat didn't even cover the bottom slice of bread--with not enough to redistribute. The fries portion was very small (more like a kids' serving), and the plate was around $13. That seemed to be the general theme--nothing tasted bad, but nothing stood out, and portions felt light across the board. Atmosphere-wise, it's what you'd expect from a diner--casual, relaxed, and easygoing. We'd consider going back for convenience, but it's not a place we'd go out of our way for. With a few adjustments--especially around portion sizes--this could easily match the reputation it already seems to have with locals.

I also tried some of the shrimp and lobster bisque, and one of the specials--braised pork shank with sautéed cabbage, broccoli and mashed potatoes. OMG. The mashed potatoes had some sort of apple butter gravy that was so good. Finally, the inside is very well decorated, with some extra seating outside. I would definitely recommend a reservation. The venue is on A1A, right by St Augustine Beach. This was our first time there. They serve food but we had dinner beforehand, so we only had drinks. It's a nice little venue though. The show itself was awesome and Mick was so nice to meet afterwards! Why am I giving a 5 star review when we didn't even try their food? I'm at fortunate to know a few people that many would consider to be famous in the world of music. I have tagged along with them when they've done meet & greets at venues of various sizes from hundreds of fans to thousands of fans. Many, MANY venues handle these things very poorly. It ends up leaving fans feel as if the artist doesn't care about them when it's actual the venue that is unprepared and/or is treating the fans that dirt. That was absolutley NOT the case at Cafe Eleven. Every person we encountered from the staff seemed genuinely concerned with making sure the fans had a good experience. For us, this started a week prior when they took the time to email us to double check something about our order because our order was a bit odd. My wife paid for part of the order and our friends paid for the other half. The venue actually took the time to reach out to make sure we knew everything needed to match up. We did know that ahead of time but the fact that they even bothered was a touch I don't think I've ever heard of another venue taking the time to do. Well done Cafe Eleven! Based on that alone, I wouldn't think twice about driving down from Jacksonville next time there's an event at Cafe Eleven that I'm interested in.
