I had a good experience at Savvvys (Pasadena). I ordered the Savvvys Special ($7 - 16oz - Iced). It's coffee with agave and cinnamon powder. It's clean, crisp, & chill coffee. I felt awake. I arrived at Savvvys (Pasadena) on Sunday (around 2:20PM). Parking is stressful; it's all paid parking. There's a nearby Parking Garage that says $5 for 24 hours. There's also pay toll machines that charge 25 cents per 12 minutes (2 Hour Time Limit). Staff is polite and professional. Staff is composed and efficient. When asked if they could clean a table, Staff immediately helped. Staff also answered all my questions. My coffee took two minutes and 53 seconds. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Savvvys Special ($7 - 16oz - Iced). It's functional and delicious. I appreciated its strength, and the flavor of fresh coffee & cinnamon is pronounced. The coffee is not bitter nor too sweet; rather, it flowed like silk. TASTY! On ambiance, Savvvys (Pasadena) is lovely. I appreciated the cleanliness, greenery, and displayed artwork. The location has about eight tiny interior tables. And the seats are plush and comfortable. There's also utility at Savvvys (Pasadena). There's customer internet with password; details are written on the counter's transparent display. There's also about seven electrical outlets. WOW! The location is filled with studying/working customers. There's even a self-service water station in the corner. I also appreciated the soft music. Overall, I had a good experience at Savvvys (Pasadena). There's quality and charm at this business. If you're searching for another study/work spot in Pasadena, this is an easy recommendation. 4.7 out of 5

If you're looking for a productive getaway, this cafe offers a beautifully relaxing and peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for knocking out some homework. I spent about two hours here enjoying the quiet vibes before the afternoon rush brought in a wave of other laptop users, turning it into a focused, communal workspace. The Highlight: The absolute standout of my session was the Matcha Baby Blue. It was incredible, balanced, refreshing, and visually stunning. It was so good that I've already decided I'll be back to work my way through all their different matcha combinations. The Verdict: Whether you need a serene spot to start your day or a modern environment to power through some projects, this place hits the mark. Great vibes and even better drinks, the Matcha Baby Blue is a total game-changer!

Came here with my best friend on a Sunday morning. This spot is tucked away in the heart of Old Town Pasadena in an alleyway right across from Edwin Mills by Equator. Lovely little spot with greenery all around. I love me some Ube so I automatically gravitated towards the Boo Berry Crumble. I loved it! It was delicious! I ended up ordered it with oat-milk It was definitely blueberry heavy, which I didn't mind. I enjoyed the texture. Enjoyed the drink and the vibes! Service was excellent, the ladies were sweet! Hot tip: come in the early morning on Sundays. Free street meter parking before 10 or 11am.

Very cute spot in a Pasadena alley, only thing is the parking but otherwise I really like the vibe. You can stay here for a while and chill or walk around on a hot summer day. The drinks were nice and we came here for the SGV passport deal. Overall very nice

What a beautiful coffee and pastry shop! I see the term Instaworthy used a lot these days, but these are one of those places that truly deserve it. More importantly, the drinks and pastries here are good. Full disclosure, I came here, trying to hit up another new pastry spot in the area. But the line was down the block. There was no way I was gonna wait in that line so I found this spot on a quick search. It's almost criminal that there was no one at the shop and it was so close to the other spot. I will say this place doesn't have a lot of visibility from the main street because you'd have to walk in a little bit down, sort of an alleyway with other shops and eateries. The person behind the counter was really, really friendly and helpful. I was able to get my drink (Savvvy's Special) pretty much right away and the Matcha & Pistachio croissant was really delicious. I was on my way to meet up with some friends at their house so I wasn't able to sit here for very long and enjoy the serene and beautiful setting. Definitely a big fan of this place and would love to come back soon.

We came by to redeem the Savvvys promotion from the SGV passport. It was for a BOGO free on any drink purchase. They are located in the Mills Pl alley area. We came by on same Sunday as the Rose Bowl Marathon so it was very busy. The location has spacious dining areas outside and a few tables inside the shop. The staff was very personable and kind to us. She noted customers periodically use the SGV passport from time to time. We decided on the Savvvys Special and Matcha Chaga. Both of them with Oat Milk. They do offer all kinds of milk alternative bases. Our drinks were completed within minutes and we enjoyed them outside in the patio. IMO, both of them were stellar. The perfect blends of sweetness with the proper amount of caffeine to boost you up for the day! Of the two, I enjoyed the Savvvys the most and would order it again. Savvvys is a great place to kick back and enjoy some coffee and matcha! Check em out! ( ^_^)b

I love their cute green cafe environment! Everything was decorated nicely with plants, and there was a decent amount of seating. The entrance is little discreet - it's down an alley. They have a creative and unique selection of drink specials - I got the rosey cheeks, which I think was a rose latte. It was good, but leaned on the sweeter side and the coffee flavor was somewhat less visible.

The shop is so cute and great of photos. Staff is friendly. The drinks were great actually ! They had very unique flavors I haven't seen at other coffee spots. I got the lavender coffee and you can really taste the coffee and it wasn't too sweet. I'm going back there today after I write this review !!

Easy to find, friendly services, great outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. Lady lavender (4/5) tasty and strong Strawberry chocolate scone (2.5/5) I'm not a scone person but this sounded delicious and was hoping it would change my mind but it didn't. Overall, I would come back and try their other drinks and pastries.

Such a cute spot with nice outdoor and indoor seating. The ordering area can be cramped during busy hours but you can easily wait outside after. Ordered the Savvvy Special which basically tastes like a honey cinnamon latte. It wasn't overly sweet which I liked and had a good balance of the espresso. Overall a good spot and I would come again

The blueberry drink was really good! Hard to find seating. They were out of stock for the lavender latte and we tried the mushroom pastry which was just ok.

    Cassidy I.

The space is comfortable and there are a lot of plants, which is nice. The coffee was very expensive, but tasty! Unfortunately, the pastry I got (Nutella croissant) was nasty. There was some sort of filling inside, maybe a cookie butter? I'm not sure, but it had split and was chunky and greasy. There was very little Nutella flavor aside from the zig zag on the top of the pastry. We also got water from the dispenser and there was stuff floating in it.

We arrived just before noon and there was already a wait list and line for a table. When checking in, we were told it would be about a half hour wait or so. It's fine, they take your number and text you to let you know when your table is ready. Also, it's advised to look at the menu beforehand as when your table is ready, you order before being seated. It did take about half an hour or so till we got seated. We originally asked for a table outside but it wasn't available so inside it was. You order before being seated and a number placards is given for the table. Menu, it has a a lot of good dishes to choose from. The last time we were here the meal was great so we knew what to expect again. Started off with some mimosas, which was about 10.00 a glass. Also water was brought out. Every single one of the staff were so friendly which is nice to walk into a place so welcoming. Friendly hi, making sure everyone was taken care of and if anything was needed. Great customer service. Drinks didn't take long to arrive followed by the first item. The cinnamon apple French toast. It was quite nice with the crunch and apple jam. Everything was great when brought out that no extra syrup was needed. Also served with whipped cream. Within a Couple minutes after that, the entrees came out. An order of the kimchi buttered fried chicken Benedict. First off, it was delicious. Two big portions of Benedict, with kimchi added and the chicken had a lot of flavors. It wasn't too powering with the kimchi and worked really well. That came with their potatoes and a side salad. And the Norwegian Benedict with smoked salmon. Basically a smoked salmon Benedict with all the trimmings. The meals were great and the dishes were massive. We've seen a couple of people sharing plates and lots of leftovers. The food was great and delicious. Service didn't take long after ordering and staff were all very friendly. The only waiting was for a table but that's a given during the weekend. They are limited in hours. Mainly breakfast and brunch but the food was great. Until next time. Walking in, it definitely has that California/Pasadena neighborhood café vibe, and I was looking forward to a solid breakfast. I'll start with the positive: Joey, the host, was awesome. Great attitude, welcoming, attentive--exactly how you want to be treated when you walk into a restaurant. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. I ordered bacon medium, and it initially came out crispy. When I mentioned it to the guy bringing out the food, instead of simply saying, "No problem, we'll fix it," I got attitude and a response like, "What is medium?" Second round of bacon was actually good, so obviously it could be done. The biggest disappointment was the chicken fried chicken. The chicken breast was extremely dry. The potatoes were good, the eggs were good, but the main part of the meal just wasn't there. When it was time to pay, Elizabeth brought my check and I politely gave her my feedback. I wasn't asking for anything free. I wasn't trying to get the meal taken off the bill. I paid for my food. I simply explained that the chicken was really dry and asked whether they hear that complaint often. Her response was basically, "Everybody has their own opinion." And that right there killed the experience for me. Of course everybody has an opinion--that's exactly what a review is. But when a paying customer calmly gives you feedback about the food, there's a difference between saying, "I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it, I'll mention it to the kitchen," and basically dismissing them. For a locally known café with this many reviews, I expected more pride in both the food and the customer service. I'm not comparing Millie's to Denny's or some giant chain. I actually expect more from an independent neighborhood café. Joey: great job. Potatoes and eggs: good. Second bacon: good. Chicken fried chicken: dry and disappointing. Handling of customer feedback: terrible. I came in because of the reputation. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to it.

Thirty minutes later, they were still hanging around. We fully understood that this was not by any fault of the restaurant. We continued to wait patiently. It's a cute little cafe with a nice and welcoming interior located in Downtown Pasadena. Service was super friendly, and the owner took the time to explain some of the best dishes to us. Everything just worked together. I've never had anything quite like this, but I would easily get it again. (5/5) Fantasy Crepe - This is your sweet crepe. It's simple but makes for a nice treat. The crepe had a great texture, and nothing was overpowering. Who doesn't love Nutella? Really enjoyable. (4.5/5) Croque Madame - Another simple yet delicious dish. It's basically a ham and cheese sandwich with a runny egg on top. Super simple, but you can really taste the freshness of each ingredient. (5/5) Canele de Bordeaux - This is a MUST GET. I've never had a canele that tasted as good as these. The flavors were perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a crunchy outside and soft interior. Literally perfection! (5/5) Viennois - A fun little way to take a shot of espresso. It's topped with whipped cream, and I was told not to mix it and just drink it all together. It was bomb. (4.5/5) White Tea - I've never had white tea before, so I'm not sure how it's supposed to taste, but this was simple and refreshing. I had it over ice, and it went really well with the meal. (4.5/5) Overall, definitely a must try if you're looking for a simple yet really good French spot in Pasadena. Everything tasted clean, fresh, and well made, and I left feeling very satisfied. Price is a bit higher than other places, but they import ingredients from France, so you're definitely getting the best stuff. A hidden gem indeed! What time do they take their last order? Maybe they should consider adding that information to their Google page, because it would have saved me a walk.
