From the moment my wife and I stepped into Saint & Second, we knew we were in for something special. Nestled in the heart of Manhattan Village, the restaurant strikes a perfect balance between upscale sophistication and relaxed California cool. The ambience is warm and inviting, modern yet cozy, with thoughtful design touches like soft lighting, natural textures, and an open layout that fosters conversation without compromising intimacy. The decor deserves its own round of applause. Every detail, from the handcrafted wood accents to the ambient lighting and sleek yet comfortable seating, reflects a clear vision of approachable elegance. It's the kind of space that makes you want to linger. But what truly sets Saint & Second apart is the service. From the runner who brought out our dishes with genuine pride, to the server who offered detailed descriptions of each item with an infectious enthusiasm, there was a clear throughline of passion and knowledge across the entire team. Every staff member seemed invested in our experience. The star of the evening, however, was Adam, the General Manager, whose hospitality transformed a great night into an unforgettable one. Adam didn't just check in he connected with us. His warm demeanor, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of the menu and wine list made us feel like more than just guests; he made us feel like part of the Saint & Second family. He even took the time to personalize our evening with thoughtful recommendations that were spot-on, showing a level of care that's all too rare. As for the food it was flawless. Every dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. The seasonal ingredients shone through, and you could taste the thoughtfulness in every bite. From appetizers to dessert, nothing missed the mark. Saint & Second isn't just a restaurant...it's an experience, and one that we'll be returning to soon. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself to a night out, this place delivers on every level. Special thanks to Adam and his team for making our evening so memorable. read more

Brunch dreams do come true - and they come with whipped cream. Love Saint & Second! They have a different weekend brunch menu in addition to the regular one, which feels like a secret club for those who love to brunch. I usually go for the gluten-free pancakes, which come with homemade whipped cream that's so good I'd take down a toddler for the last bite (and I brought one with me, so that's saying something). The maple syrup is also homemade, and the portion size is gloriously generous - bless them. The breakfast tacos are another fav - fresh eggs, great flavor, and basically begging to be paired with a mimosa (or two, depending on how the night before went). There's a park just outside that the outdoor patio overlooks, which makes this place perfect for a weekend brunch or a fun daytime outing. Grab a great meal and then wander around - there's plenty of great shopping nearby to turn it into a mini day trip. It's giving "Sunday Funday, but elevated." Bonus points: there is a changing station in the women's bathroom, which you don't always get at nicer places like this one. As a mom of a 1.5-year-old, this was a game-changer. Everyone on staff was also so kind and welcoming. And just when I think I've tried everything, boom - new seasonal menu items. Like a surprise party for my taste buds. Definitely one of my go-to spots. If I could give it more stars, I would (but Yelp won't let me, and that's not their fault). read more

I want to take a moment to give a huge thank you to the incredible team that made my dining experience unforgettable on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. First, my server Michael Santiago deserves the highest praise. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely courteous from start to finish. He carried himself with such grace and made sure every detail of my dining experience was perfect. It's rare to find servers who not only take care of their tables but also make you feel truly valued as a guest, Michael did just that. Next, I have to give flowers to Bree, the bartender. The drinks were absolutely on point, balanced, flavorful, and crafted with skill. Bree brought both professionalism and personality behind the bar, and it showed in every sip. And last but certainly not least, chef's kisses to the kitchen team! ‍ Every dish was executed beautifully, from flavor to presentation. You could taste the care and teamwork coming out of that kitchen. Together, Michael, Bree, and the kitchen staff created a dining experience that went above and beyond. I left not only satisfied but also grateful for the level of service and quality that was delivered. This team deserves recognition for a job exceptionally well done. I will definitely be back! read more

The service is top-notch--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed or intrusive. The food is nothing short of exceptional. Each dish is crafted with care and creativity, highlighting fresh, seasonal ingredients and bold flavors. Whether you're indulging in one of their signature cocktails, savoring a perfectly cooked steak, or enjoying their fresh seafood offerings, every bite feels thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. What truly elevates the experience is the ambiance. With its stylish decor, softly lit interiors, and a rooftop patio that offers stunning views of Long Beach, Saint & Second creates the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. This is a restaurant that delivers on every level--service, cuisine, and setting! read more

I can't say enough great things about Janise! -- she's the definition of what makes a night out unforgettable. From the moment you sit down, you're greeted with genuine warmth, an easygoing charm, and a deep knowledge of the craft that's second to none. Every drink Janise makes is a masterpiece. Whether it's a classic cocktail or something totally off-menu, she somehow always knows exactly what you're in the mood for -- it's like she can read your taste buds. Their attention to detail is incredible, from perfect pours to flawless garnishes, and she makes it all look effortless. But what truly sets Janise apart is their ability to create an atmosphere. The bar becomes more than a place to drink -- it becomes a place to be. They keep conversations flowing, remember your name and favorite drink, and make newcomers feel like regulars. read more

I've been looking forward to this opening for years, and I was so excited to finally check it out tonight. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere, food, and drinks were all fantastic! Our server, Simone, was an absolute standout. She had such a beautiful spirit and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Even though the restaurant was busy, she never made us feel rushed or overlooked. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, but it was her genuine smile and positive attitude that truly made the experience special. If you're lucky, you'll get to sit in her section. Thank you, Simone! read more

Loved my visit to Saint & Second in Manhattan Beach! The vibe is stylish but laid-back, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a date night. The food was fresh and flavorful--especially the small plates, which are great for sharing. Their cocktails are a highlight (definitely worth trying at least one). Huge shoutout to Janise, who was super helpful and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot that feels both trendy and welcoming read more

Food was honestly not great. We found hair in one of my dishes. The steak wasn't great quality. Fries were too oily. Drinks took as long as our appetizer. I ordered a beer and a whiskey. I'm disappointed because I heard good things of the Long Beach location. Our server was sweet she tried. But the bartender was behind and it wasn't even busy and the food did not make up for it. We should have waited the hour for Joeys next door. Which we went too after. read more

We had an awesome dinner at Saint & Second last week and our server, Michael Santiago, really made the night. He was super friendly, checked in on us, and made sure everything was perfect. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the steak tartare he recommended were to die for! Overall, the food and service was exceptional and we never once felt rushed. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! :) read more

Decided to stop by while I was waiting for a friend to join me for a night out and I absolutely did not regret it. The drinks were amazing, the staff was friendly and despite just being there to grab a few quick drinks, Janise took the time to make sure to curate a proper experience! The designer smoke was so good and the vibe was great. Absolutely would go back for the vibe but will keep going back for Janise! read more

Dinner and drinks were absolutely wonderful. We sat at the inside bar and had Janise as our bartender. She was incredible & so knowledgeable about all of the spirits they offered. Amongst the 5 of us we ordered a bunch of different entrees but each one was delicious. The Parker rolls were to die for, and the meatballs will be a new staple for us. Couldn't recommend more! read more

I was really disappointed with the Spicy Tuna Arancini -- the tuna-to-arancini ratio was completely off, leaving the dish unbalanced. Prices were outrageous: one cocktail and three tiny pieces of arancini came out to $46.50. On top of that, the vibe was underwhelming for a place charging $29 for arancini. Definitely not worth it. Won't be back. read more
