I am a big fan of Rubys just NOT this one! Their service gets worse every time I go there. The food is sloppy and unpleasant looking. It almost seems like the management and or owners do not care anymore, so the staff no longer cares. read more

My son was hungry so I went in to Rubys to be greeted by know one. I waited then I walked to the chef and placed my order. A couple minuted later the GM-Betty asked if I had been helped. I told her I ordered with the chef and need to pay for what I ordered-a bacon and egg burrito plain. I was very specific that it needed to be plain for my son and she preceded to tell me what it comes with. I told her, I want the burrito plain with eggs, bacon, and tortilla. She gave me attitude and gave me the price of $9.71. I gave her my card and she gave me a shallow thank you. I will never go to this Ruby's ever. The chef had more people skills and a since of urgency than the unwelcoming GM. read more

Best shakes when you got the craving. They always give you more shake than the glass holds. Usually ends up being 2 glasses full. Their French fries are nice and crispy and their burgers are perfect and juicy. The staff is friendly and attentive. This place is always consistent when I want a nice burger fries and a shake. The other chains cannot compare. read more

I really don't know what happened, someone dropped the ball. Maybe too busy, don't want to make an excuse. I had the shrimp, very hard. Partner had hamburger etc. something was missing. Green beans fried too hard. First time of the year we were looking forward but, disappointed . Waitress could've been better I have the feeling they really didn't care. read more

This Ruby's has very great service and yummy food. I had a guacamole burger minus the tomato and it was cooked perfectly! Definitely kid friendly! My girlfriend and I went with our 2 babies (7 and 10 months). My little guy made a huge mess and the server was great about it. (I did try to pick most of it up, but he told me not to worry). I will definitely come back to this location! read more

More than a solid choice for lunch or dinner... Fried green beans are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good... Guac burger = solid... Cobb burger = solid... Texas grilled cheese = daughter ordered and I wanted... Albacore melt = amazing... Kids hot dog = so good... Our server Abraham was on point... Great service... Good food... Equals more than likely return within the next three weeks...Love the plastic covered booths... Makes it so easy and convenient to slide in and out when necessary... Love the flavored coke options... That is sometimes the decision making options that gets us here... Get a red gum ball and win a free root beer float!!!! read more

I love Ruby's but the service at this location is beyond lacking. We were seated promptly but it took over 20 minutes before I had to ask a bus boy to see if we even had a waitress. A manager came over and rushed us to order and only checked on us once "Maddy" our "waitress" did a whooping refill. There will be no tip. And there will be no returning to this location. I really hope that "MADDY" and the manager "DEAN" get some customer service training from corporate. read more

Ruby's was my favorite childhood spot to come with the family when I was a kid. Now that I've come back when I'm older I can only like it based on the nostalgia. The atmosphere is cool. But $9 for a burger? Are you kidding me. The shakes aren't cheaper either and the food, while above average, doesn't justify what you'll pay. Definitely a place more for kids the more I see it now. read more

Great Service! Great Food and fast and friendly staff! Great Malts and Shakes, I really like the Turkey Cranberry Sandwich.

Our server was McKay. She was fantastic! I got a Cobb salad and it was great. The bf got a burger and he enjoyed it, as well. I love the atmosphere of this place. Overall, a great experience. read more

Very disappointed! Failed to order one meal! Delivered to my husband realized they forgot. Never apologized! One waitress outfit was so dirty it didn't look like it has been cleaned in weeks. Won't be going back for awhile. Food was ok. Never asked if wanted refills on our water. read more

Johnny was my server. My partner and I stopped for lunch while waiting for our client to return home. Staff greeted us and sat us immediately awesome. The server took a while to come by and take our order. Burger I got was good I will give them that. I don't know if my server was new but he messed up my bill and charged me something that I did not order. Bathroom was clean and I might come back a second time if I have time. read more

What happened to our beloved Rubys? A family favorite since I was a kid, then taking my own kids there. Lots of memories but oh my how it has changed. It has been our "go to" with the kids for 8 years now. Sadly we wont be back. I said that to myself, my husband, mom, and kids the last time we went 2 weeks ago. This time, I am sticking to it. We were seated by a gal who eneded up being our waitress but I wouldn't have known that because it took a good 15 min for her,or anyone for that matter, to come to our table to get our drink order. Then another 15 min to get our actual drinks, then over 30 min for our food. Kudos to our two very hungry and thirsty kids (8 &5yrs old) for hanging in there as long as they did. Finally get our food, well not ours, theirs. "Something" was wrong with my meal that needed fixing. 5 min later I got my meal. We ate, food was fine..but had to ask and flag someone down for refills on drinks. Then my son needed more water and seeing how slow it took for everything else, I just got up and asked the waiter who thankfully was at the drink stand. 10 more min go by..still waitress doesn't come by to check on us. My mom had to do big arms in the air to get her attention and mouth "check please" so we could get out of there. Not that I needed a free meal but there was nothing said or done about the late meal or poor service. Maybe a few $ off or coupon for a shake? So..adios Ruby's. Off to find another restaurant that gives their customers attention. read more

I just love to get the turkey sandwich w/garlic fries & a Peanut butter cup malt. Nikita likes the burgers or breakfast anytime too. Larry likes the burgers and breakfasts too. Larry loves the malts, her tries all different ones. read more

I've always had a pleasant experience at this particular Ruby's. The service is prompt, attentive, they get your order right the first time, we even came kinda late one time and the staff was still super courteous even though it was near closing time. They didn't treat us any differently or rush us so they could close up. read more

Came here this afternoon because my aunt was visiting and wanted a salad she has always liked at Rubys. The hostess wasn't particularly friendly and didn't really make eye contact. It was an off time after lunch and before dinner so they weren't super busy. The menus were on the table...they don't have the chicken finger salad any more. My food was ok. The service was a bit slow and not overly friendly. I guess I realized why I hadn't been to Rubys in awhile and won't be back. That was an expensive, not good lunch. I hope the people with kids and old folks got a kick out of the train. It just doesn't do it for me. read more

I had the Cobb Burger it was ok nothing extra ordinary I actually think I red robin clue cheese burger is better. My garlic fries was saggy and cold. I asked for new fries and my friend got hers first and I had to remind the waitress for my fries. Upon paying I know why my fries were good there are 4 servers and the diner is busy I saw many orders waiting on their counter to be pick up and deliver to the tables. I understand when the restaurant is busy but you would hope that the server will move much faster and the manager would be nicer. read more

Had the apple oatmeal and a hard boiled egg for breakfast. Breakfast here is a hidden gem. There aren't a lot of options in the area and this hits the spot. Francisco was hands down the best server I've had here. My boyfriend and I come in far too often and the service is usually alright. Sometimes a little slow, but never bad. Francisco happily accommodated all the strange modifications to the order I made and politely informed me of which ones couldn't be done because of the way the dish was made. He also figured out how to get me a hard boiled al carte egg. I didn't see it on the menu, so I was anticipating being told I couldn't have it. However, he was extremely kind and didn't think twice about it. He also came by to check on me and make sure my food was the way I wanted and even made a bit of small talk. I love a server who knows how to talk just enough to put you at ease while dining alone and doesn't intrude. The food is spot on, considering the kind of place this. I actually enjoyed my oatmeal quite a bit. However, I think service is where restaurants in this tier can stand out. Francisco made my dining experience from me mediocre to awesome. Btw, he just brought me a fresh cup of coffee because they just finished another brew. He's seriously awesome. read more

Asked for a water, did not receive one. The slim thicc waitress was chill. I mixed n matched shake flavors and not gonna lie, it tasted a little funky. The noise level was unsatisfactory, too many preteens. Overall I had a swell meal, I would def come again. Update, came again on a Saturday and it strangely was not poppin. Got some shady looks as I walked in but whatever I'm used to it. Mixed n matched shake flavors once again, it was dank. There was confusion concerning my companions sesame seed allergy. Therefore, the not so thicc waitress became quite salty. There were no catchy tunes playing and the tiny trains that the preteens of Tustin so dearly love and enjoy were not even moving! This made my dinner unsatisfactory. Did a line of sugar in the booth so overall I would def come again. read more

After posting my review I was contacted by a manager from Ruby's who thanked me for my feedback and told me that he would be passing it on to the restaurant manager and the regional manager. I respect and appreciate a business that stays on top of what customers say on various websites and use that to make improvements. I'm very impressed with Ruby's response. I would recommend them to friends and family based on how they handled my review. read more

Well I have been to Ruby's many times. This particular day we went for my niece's bday lunch. I got there warly and had to leave earlier then everyone, due to work. When i sat down a waiter came over to me and asked about my drink preference and went to retrieve it. Once he set down my drink, i didn't see him until the rest of my party got there.....15 minutes later! Now, i had gotten there a little early so i could order my food and not be late for work. Besides that issue, the food was good. I had the caeser salad and a cup of chili. I enjoyed the chili because it was shredded beef instead of beans and chuncks of beef. I left before everyone else was done with their meals, but they seemed to enjoy it. read more

The "guacamole" was terrible! Or maybe just rancid.. Not sure but I have an upset stomach now.. Great service and friendly staff..

My wife and I love this place and we eat here almost every weekend. The breakfasts are good and so are the burgers. They have gluten free English muffins for your breakfast and gluten free buns for you burgers. They even have real Malts! Ask for Tanya she is our favorite waitress. read more

Great service. Great atmosphere . Best burgers and shakes in town . Great value for your money .

Walked into the place and already had a warm welcome! food was amazing and Manny was a great server! i will definitely be coming back

Our server was wonderful. She was attentive and very sweet. The woman who sat us seemed like there were hundreds of other places she'd rather have been than work. The food was great and came to our table quickly. The issue I have is with the number of flies in the restaurant. It kind of squashed our appetites since we were waving our hands in the air to keep the flies from our food. read more

Wow! This restaurant has exceptional service, everything is spotless, and you can't beat the price. It's super family friendly! Don't go here if you can't handle a little noise from all the kids having a great time. Special shout out to Carlos our server....he was FAST, FRIENDLY, and FANTASTIC! read more

This was my first visit to this location. Our waiter was fine, food was brought out promptly and tasted fine, but the hostess was a zombie. It looked like it was a major effort on her part to smile, say good morning, and take us to our table. Definitely not how I care to be greeted when I enter a restaurant. read more

Nevr been to rubys before until my father in law took me there. I ordered the cinnamon roll french toast it was amazing. So I gave it 4 stars I would have gave it 5 but the waitress seemed very annoyed. I didn't like her attitude towards us. But other then that I would go to Ruby's again. read more

Slowest service ever! You will wait for a table forever and then wait for a server forever, then wait to just get your drinks forever.

Just had a great salad here. I enjoy the waiters and waitresses. Always so friendly.

Had a great time at this location. The wait never seems very long and the staff is always enjoyable. The food is nothing amazing, but it is very good. I only with I could give this 0 points. I ordered through their website. It said the food would be ready in 13 minutes, at 12:35. I drove up and called. I was put on hold for 4 minutes. A worker ran an order out to someone. I called back. Was told they never received the order, which was already charged to my account and had sent an email receipt. They asked me to come in. I had ordered curbside so I wouldn't enter. I looked through the window and saw people without masks. I am over 65 and at risk, do I explained I could not come in. The manager said he couldn't hear me. I spoke loud to be heard through the mask. He said I was yelling so he could not help me. I drove home and called the corporate office. Only could leave a message. I called the restaurant back to get a refund. Manager refused. Said he had already cooked the food. Worst experience ever. Plus, this establishment saw nothing wrong in endangering my health. read more

Arrived at Ruby's dinner at 12:01 on thanksgiving day. There were plenty of people in the restaurant ordering from waiters as we walked to the front door. To my suprise the doors were locked. I knocked on the door to get a explanation. The hostest saw me at the door and ignored me and went on with her buisness. From outside I could clearly see people sitting down and ordering drinks and lunch. Several other people arrived and also had the same reaction with no luck. There was no sign posted of hours of operation or anything of that nature. I have been going there for years and this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I do not plan on returning soon. Don't eat at places that have bad management and even worse sutomer service. Roll damn Tide read more
