Food was delicious and fresh but unfortunately there was an error on our takeout order (which we didn't notice until getting back home) and we received pinto beans instead of black beans on two of orders.

Let me just say this has nothing to do with the food this has to do with employees I usually go to Wahoo's after the lunch rush usually after 2:00 then I like to go in there and it's not so crowded and it's just nicer but it seems like the employees here use the slow Time after the lunch rush to not do much I walked in stood in front of the counter and couldn't believe what a ghost town it was there was nobody in the kitchen whatsoever there was nobody of course at the counter so I just stood there quietly to see how long it would take for them to acknowledge I'm standing there and it took long enough where I was pretty shocked and when the girl finally came out from the back I asked what was going on I got really no answer she just proceeded to talk fast and that's what I wanted of course with attitude at that point like I did something wrong so I sat down the food showed up I enjoyed my lunch like I said this is nothing to do with the food the food's always great it's the employees but I wonder if she ever thought what if I was a Wahoo's executive or the franchise owner or whatever do you think if they got the same experience she wouldn't be giving this girl a talking to and the man who was supposed to be in the kitchen makes you think it sucks because I usually have very good experiences when I come eat at Wahoos of course I'm remaining a loyal customer I just wish the employees would see things the way they should seeing they got their 20 dollars a hour.

My correct order faster than I could finish a great local beer!

This Wahoo's has some of the best costumer service! The staff is amazing, friendly and quick with togo orders! They double check each order, to make sure it's correct! The restaurant is always clean. Overall they provide quality service, clean restaurant and quality wahoos food! They make Tustin proud, and keep us coming to wahoos! Doesn't hurt they have a nice little bar with 2 TVs live time games or quality surf videos!

    Mango Margarita!

I've always liked Wahoo's. Let me rephrase... I've always liked Wahoo's of Old Towne Orange. Love the ambiance, outdoor seating, the patio fireplace, the live band on the weekends.... My faves... the Margaritas.... the Citrus Slaw Crispy Fish Tacos and Citrus Slaw Shrimp Tacos! Carnitas Tacos are great too! So while walking around beautiful Old Towne Orange... give Wahoo's a visit! Check out my You Tube Short on Wahoo's @socalweekendwalkarounds https://youtube.com/shorts/yvqTmEp9ptk?feature=share

The drive through can take a bit , but it's not fast food so that has never bothered me. My one gripe, and it's enough for me to knock 2 stars, is their stinginess with salsa. Only Mexican restaurant I've ever been where they are vehemently stingy with their salsa. Order chips and pay close to $5 after tax and you get a solid amount of chips, but they only allow you 2 salsa and half the time they barely fill the salsa containers (honestly sometimes like 1/4 full which is less than an ounce of salsa). Again, it's literally the only Mexican food restaurant I've ever been to that limits you on salsa and it's not even reasonable. And this last time I went finally sent me over the edge because they charged me extra for salsa because I wanted more and I finally agreed to just pay up only to get home and realize half the containers were less than half full. Honestly unacceptable. And on top of that I'm a frequent customer that will tip a few bucks every time even though I'm not dining in and I continuously get screwed on the salsa.

It's all chopped. I do prefer fuller pieces, but the flavor and so much meat I was absolutely impressed. Everything tasted fresh. The shrimp was crunchy. Perfect amount of rice and beans. Great flavor and very authentic tasting was her comment. Now the street tacos flavor was good. But the chop meat was so fine I felt like a baby being fed steak. Bigger bites people! Having said that the flavor was still good. And wrap them so they don't fall apart in the packaging. Overall five stars! Super friendly service. Proving is fair for what I'm getting. I'd pay 15.00 for that surf/turf burrito. Well done Chico tacos. Oh and they have a lovely stone sitting outdoor area to enjoy your meal. Or inside is great too. See you tomorrow! The horchata paired well after having the tacos and fries. The customer service was good. The lady helping me was super nice and patient. I couldn't decide on a drink, and she let me sample everything before I picked the horchata which I really appreciated.

They have the huitalacoche (corn fungus) quesadilla that I really enjoy as well as their pupusa loroco y queso. Trying out their Lengua taco and taco jaracho which I have been eyeing for a while. All their food is tasty, made fresh. All bursting with flavor. Salsa bar is probably one of my favorites having literally a salsa made for every kind of taste bud. Don't let the small restaurant deceive you. Small restaraunt but with bit flavors. The tortilla made with the quesadilla is nice and soft but with a good chew to it. Tastes like a homemade corn tortilla versus flour. The cheese is rich and has a wonderful pull to it. The lengua is extremely tender, little skimpy on meat portion, but overall good taco. The jarocho taco which is basically a shrimp taco on a cheese crusted tortilla is excellent. Service is what you would expect at a ma and pop shop. The cashier was patient enough to explain to me what a jarocho taco was and also spoke English which was nice for me. El Habanero is that kind of spot  the ultimate hidden gem. You walk in expecting a quick bite and somehow leave feeling like you discovered a secret the city has been quietly protecting. I ordered the carne asada torta and immediately realized this wasn't just a sandwich  this was architecture. The bread? Perfectly toasted, soft inside with just enough crisp to hold the universe together. It cradles everything like it knows how important its job is. Then the carne asada shows up  tender, juicy, smoky, and seasoned like someone's abuela personally supervised the grill. Every bite releases layers: char, citrus, salt, and warmth all hitting at once. The toppings don't just sit there either they collaborate. Creamy, fresh, bright, and balanced so the meat stays the star while everything else plays the perfect supporting role. The sauces? I'm convinced they bend time, because the torta disappears way faster than logic allows. This isn't just food  it's the kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite and look around to see if anyone else realizes what just happened. El Habanero didn't just make a torta... they made a reason to come back.

How have I never been here?!…read more I think Rubio's is a little better, but they are much more expensive than Hole Mole... so the next time I have a craving for a taco or burrito, I'll go here instead. A few of my friends have been telling me about them for years. We placed our order online for pick up. Unfortunately, their tablet wasn't working properly. The manager came out and wrote our order down so we did have to wait about 10 minutes... but they did their best and we appreciated the excellent service. We ordered a BRISKET BOWL $10.29, al pastor taco $2.29, Ensenada fish taco $2.89, asada taco $2.50, FISH BURRITO $11.80 + 1.50 extra for guac ~$13.50, and French fries $3. We were stuffed and our meal was only $35! The brisket bowl was surprisingly good- 4.5 stars. It was nice and smoky, and came with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. We got the flour, but once I unwrapped it from the foil, it was quite dry. The al pastor taco was okay, but very dry- 2.5 stars. The asada taco was not bad- a little dry but flavorful- 3.5 stars. The fish taco was good but not crispy. I would get it again for Taco Tuesday, but Rubio's is much better. The best item was the FISH BURRITO- 5 stars. The fish was tender and the filling was seasoned perfectly, and the added guac gave it soo much FLAVOR! I've got to try their other burritos. We also got French fries and they were pretty good- 4 stars. Huge portion- probable enough for 3-4 people! We were so hungry I forgot to take a picture lol. Would get again. Looking forward to their WAVE WED: Baja fish tacos $2 Baja shrimp tacos $2.50 Shrimp ceviche $8 They also have POZOLE on the weekends. First visit: red chilaquiles. Crispy tortillas soaked in a bold salsa roja, topped perfectly--no soggy mess, just layers of flavor with that careful hand you feel in every bite. Menudo sealed it: deep, comforting, slow-simmered depth that only comes from real care. Every dish screamed high-quality ingredients and thoughtful prep. No shortcuts here--it's crafted like someone's abuelita still runs the kitchen. But reality hits: portions run modest for the price tag. In this nice-area location, expect to pay premium. You get what you pay for in quality, not quantity. Lines move fast though--staff hustles, friendly faces seat you quick, no endless wait.
