    Fresh Grilled Salmon
    Calli Y.

Absolutely love their restaurant week menu. For $40, you get an appetizer, entree and dessert. They do take reservations which is great. We waited a bit for our table but then got seated. I enjoy their complimentary chips and salsa. The aquiles was very fresh and light for a hot day. My absolute favorite is their salmon dish!! Love the sauce they use! It's absolutely delicious and I usually get it with all veggies which is also great! This place is always busy! And they always have specials during the week. Must give it a try! SYOY!

Such a great experience and such sweet employees...The most important thing that the kitchen is visible for all and it was crystal clean. The food was good and the drink (tamarind margarita was so delicious). For appetizer, we got guac $11 and ceviche $16 and both great. For first time i tried grilled heart of romaine with grilled shrimps...It was yummy, new and different for $26. Also we got shrimp tacos (3 of them for $18)...For the quality food that we got the pricing was reasonable...I really liked that the waiters were so careful and we never felt the lack of service. 5 stars! And definitely one of the places that itwill be on my want go list.

We've been to The Cha Cha's in Brea, much bigger. Our server was Sofia S, very nice and friendly.. I had the Nachos, quite different than most nachos and I ate them all. My husband had the 3 taco's, said they were OK. I had the large Cadillac margarita, excellent "but" if I had know it was $29, would have gotten a smaller one. Our friends were with us and they also enjoyed their meal as they don't have Mexican restaurants near where they live. She had enchiladas and he had Carnitas..

Delicious Mexican food, a beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service! We were very pleased with our experience. The food was flavorful, and the tacos were especially amazing. On Taco Tuesday, they offered a great deal -- 3 tacos with small sides of rice and beans for only $9. Margaritas were around $24-$25, and beers were about $6. The calamari was excellent, and the ceviche was very good as well.

went for my dad's bday and so glad that all the dishes we had were so good! we got the seafood caldo, 3 enchilada combo, and a weekend special for $29 (appetizer, entree, dessert). the $29 deal included shrimp ceviche, 2 enchiladas, and rice pudding con leche for dessert. my parents are pretty particular about restaurants but they loved all the food! they gave my dad a complimentary bday flan which is very nice. service is friendly and the restaurant has a nice ambiance

This was my first time despite seeing it for years and I was so pleasantly surprised! The meat was cooked perfectly and it was super tender and flavorful. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the outdoor patio area was pleasant to sit at.

I forgot to take a picture of the steak enchilada I ordered haha they had a 3 course special for $29. I have the chicken tinga tostada, steak enchiladas, and vanilla rice pudding. It was a great price for the amount of food you get! I didn't really like the red salsa that came with the steak enchiladas but the steak was delicious and tender. I love the ambiance here and the music they have playing. The bar area was fun! Everyone was so friendly as well. Definitely want to come back to try out more items!

Came for happy hour, joined a group of friends who had already been there a while and who had finished eating but were still drinking. We ordered crispy calamari and shrimp and the steak nachos with a pitcher of sangria. Food was tasty, sangria was especially delicious. Portions are small for the price, even considering it's happy hour. Service was haphazard but seeing as happy hour was limited to the packed and noisy bar area, that's somewhat to be expected. Not expected though was our friends' final order of tequila shots to be downgraded and then to be gaslighted by the staff when the difference was noted. "It looks different because it's been chilled," is not a plausible excuse. Instead of replacing the order immediately, a series of people working there were dispatched to give the runaround. Eventually the shots were replaced but by then the dining experience was soured. Those friends quietly vowed to not return, which is unfortunate because the food and drinks are pretty good but if the customer service experience is frustratingly bad, it's best to take your business elsewhere.

It has been a while since we were last here. We had relatives visiting recently and we all wanted to go out for light dinner and some drinks. There were not a lot of places open then, and a few more about to close & so we ended up here. We ordered flautas, aguachile, clams, enchiladas, empanadas, tacos and ceviche. And we enjoyed them all! Our guests are not fans of Mexican food, but they enjoyed it too! For drinks we had a few of the classic margaritas and flavored ones such as mango & watermelon. Beer and soda. Service was good and prompt. And our waiter was nice and easy to talk to. Place is nice with a good casual vibe. It wasn't too loud that our group was able to have a nice conversation catching up with each other. They do have happy hour, but not that day. So check their happy hour and take advantage of it!

Cha Cha's was a pleasant surprise. We sat on the outside side of the bar. It would be great to see this place in the summer when the walls are all open. The bartender was quick to take our order and get some margaritas in front of us. The large was a great size for dinner and conversation! We got some guac to go with the chips and salsa. It was good, but we had to get some limes to juice up the flavor a little. The salsa verde was a highlight for me, it was fresh and flavorful. We ordered the crispy shrimp and calamari. It was a big platter, there were only three shrimp and I think it was heavy on the fried vegetables. It was tasty, but the sauces were a little bland. The venue is great and the service was good. Good service, good food, cool location.

Came in for their Sunday $20 lunch OC restaurant special which included a Caesar salad or pozole and an entree of your choice. I went with the shrimp and crab enchiladas and the Caesar salad and my dad ordered the chicken tostada salad. Our server Kim was super nice, attentive, and friendly. For starters the Caesar salad was yummy but lacking in dressing. The enchiladas, beans and rice were just okay. Ended up biting into a piece of shell from the crab and thought the rice had no flavor. The crème brûlée I ordered at the end was yummy, I would have preferred a scoop of ice cream vs this cream that came with it. Overall I found the flavors here to just be mediocre at best.

Stumbled upon Chas Cha's on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. Greeted quickly, the host was friendly. Our group of four were seated next to the kitchen which we were able to view. Our waiter was awesome! Very attentive and friendly, refilled anything we needed etc... The food, the green salsa, was so good I could drink it! The tacos, flautas and enchiladas and black beans were tasty. Their prices are reasonable, offering HH and deals such as two for $14. The owner or manager came to check and chat with us, which is rare these days. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We will be back if we're ever in the area again. Random Fact: The Cha Cha is known as a fun, lively, and flirtatious Latin dance

This is a bit of a more upscale Mexican place that seems very popular for social gatherings. There are some families but it seems more an adult place. We started with drinks with chips and guacamole. The guacamole was obviously very fresh with big chunks of avocado -- I love it that way. My wife mixed in a little bit of the salsa on her side for a little more kick. I had the tacos and they were very good. The steak was well cooked -- still juicy despite being cut up in small pieces. My wife had the shrimp and crab enchiladas and they were delicious -- you could really taste the crab. Service was excellent. The manager came by to ask if everything was ok. Our server noticed that I was running low on my soda and proactively provided a refill.

All their food is tasty, made fresh. All bursting with flavor. Salsa bar is probably one of my favorites having literally a salsa made for every kind of taste bud. Don't let the small restaurant deceive you. Small restaraunt but with bit flavors. The tortilla made with the quesadilla is nice and soft but with a good chew to it. Tastes like a homemade corn tortilla versus flour. The cheese is rich and has a wonderful pull to it. The lengua is extremely tender, little skimpy on meat portion, but overall good taco. The jarocho taco which is basically a shrimp taco on a cheese crusted tortilla is excellent. Service is what you would expect at a ma and pop shop. The cashier was patient enough to explain to me what a jarocho taco was and also spoke English which was nice for me. El Habanero is that kind of spot  the ultimate hidden gem. You walk in expecting a quick bite and somehow leave feeling like you discovered a secret the city has been quietly protecting. I ordered the carne asada torta and immediately realized this wasn't just a sandwich  this was architecture. The bread? Perfectly toasted, soft inside with just enough crisp to hold the universe together. It cradles everything like it knows how important its job is. Then the carne asada shows up  tender, juicy, smoky, and seasoned like someone's abuela personally supervised the grill. Every bite releases layers: char, citrus, salt, and warmth all hitting at once. The toppings don't just sit there either they collaborate. Creamy, fresh, bright, and balanced so the meat stays the star while everything else plays the perfect supporting role. The sauces? I'm convinced they bend time, because the torta disappears way faster than logic allows. This isn't just food  it's the kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite and look around to see if anyone else realizes what just happened. El Habanero didn't just make a torta... they made a reason to come back.

When we got there, I let the server know but it didn't seem to matter because he didn't ask my name or time, he just seated us. That works for me! Glad we didn't have to wait, we had to make it a fast meal! We waited about 5 minutes before we were greeted by our waitress. I had seen they had just started serving the soft serve margaritas on their IG and I was SUPER excited to order one! I asked our waitress (Rosie) what flavors were available and she had to ask someone else. Ok, no worries, they had mango and strawberry. I asked for a swirl. My husband ordered a shot of patron anejo sherry cask. She did not seem to understand what he was asking for even though it was an item listed on the menu. He repeated himself a couple times and even pointed to it on the menu before she said "I'll have to check with the bar" she took the rest of our order which consisted of another cocktail, the empanadas, and an order of enchiladas. She left for a bit and came back saying they had his tequila. Then another waitress came back a few moments later asking how he wanted his tequila. After our order was in, we received our chips and salsa. The salsa was delicious! Not too long after, my empanadas came out and they were overdone. Burnt. The pastry was bitter, but not just because it was overcooked, but because it seems like the oil was old. The filling wasn't what I was expecting, but it was tasty. My husband's enchiladas were good. I had one bite. After our meal, husband ordered one more cocktail and the dessert chimichanga. Same bitter oil taste on the chimichanga, I wasn't a fan. When we were brought the check, it turns out we were overcharged for the tequila. We brought it up to the waitress and she told him he ordered a different one when he had repeated "patron anejo sherry cask" to her multiple times. I don't even know if there's more than one sherry cask tequila on the menu! Anyway, she was able to adjust the bill to charge us for the correct tequila but the husband still didn't get to drink the tequila he wanted. Oh well.

HOW THEY FIX MISTAKES AND MADE THINGS RIGHT…read more I eat here from time to time and the food is excellent as well as the customer service which is second to none. I ordered the garlic chicken to go. However, when I got to work I realized they accidently have me two boxes of rice and and beans. I gave them a call, told them about it, and it was no big deal. I totally understand the lunch rush and all the boxes look the same. We're all human. This isn't the zombie apocalypse. I'll survive . That being said it was it was really how well they handled the situation. I returned there after work and we had a good laugh about it. Not only did they gave me the full correct order but also realized I like that lemony flavor of Cuba, but they also have a me a really nice dinner to go for me evening. And yes the lemony pork was absolutely delicious. There was no hesitation, no dispute, just all smiles acne appreciation from both of us. So to sum it up it really wasn't the mistake. It was HOW THEY MAKE YOU FEEL and how they take care of you as a customer. a now loyal custom for years to come.

I have not visited this center all that often. I never really noticed this Cuban restaurant before. Fortunately, my co-worker requested to go to a Cuban restaurant for her birthday lunch. It's a medium size restaurant with plenty of tables. There's outdated hodgepodge decor, but that's not a big deal. The portions here are great for the lunch specials. Our meals started off with buttery slices of baked garlic toast. Lunch also included a bowl of black beans in a flavorful broth and huge portion of white rice. Plantains also come with our lunch entree. I was debating between the classic shredded beef or classic pork. Since I've had shredded beef at another Cuban restaurant years ago, I opted for the pork. This dish also came with a lot of onions and I didn't care for these since I was going to be in the office the rest of the day. It would be nice to be able to substitute with a small side salad instead. Note, your protein selection is the most important choice for your overall experience at Bella Cuba. I tasted my coworkers, shredded beef and I enjoyed that bite more than my own dish, the pork. I enjoyed the tender pork in the beginning, but after a few bites, the sourness or acidity of the seasoning was overwhelming. That wasn't for me. I wish I would've chosen the shredded beef or possibly another protein. I think I would've been better off choosing the quarter chicken or even the calamari steak. I will return with my family for other entrees next time!

We never heard it called, though we clearly heard other numbers and saw employees actively delivering food to other tables. After 15 minutes, I went inside to check on our food. Our order was just sitting on the counter. When I checked the tacos, the meat wasn't just lukewarm--it was completely cold to the touch. When I caught the cashier's eye, he just gave me a thumbs-up. When I told him the food was cold, the cashier, Irvin, immediately got defensive and told me with an attitude, 'I called the number twice.' I explained that we didn't hear it, and pointed out that staff had been bringing food out to everyone else anyway. Instead of offering a solution, he doubled down, saying, 'I heard my voice over the speakers,' giving me a 'too bad, so sad' look. When I asked him to remake the food, he completely refused, repeating that he'd called the number. Unwilling to argue with someone that unprofessional, I told him to keep the cold food and just give me a refund. He refunded the money and we left. Absolutely terrible service from Irvin--we won't be back."
