Cute little cafe located on the main strip of old town Tustin. It's not full service, so you do have to order at the counter, choose your own table and then they bring you the food. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The lady that greeted us at the door, the girls who were behind the counter and the servers were all incredibly polite, friendly and really made you feel welcome. I had the chilaquiles rojos and they were absolutely delicious, best ones I've ever had. It is a very generous portion too, with rice and refried beans as sides. I also ordered a dirty horchata which was equally tasty. The ambience and patio are cute, we opted to sit inside since it was kinda chilly. Overall a great brunch spot!

Wonderful, cozy breakfast spot on a sunday morning. We tried coming here once before and got totally caught in a chili-cookoff instead. Finally, 1 year later, we made it!! We came totally starving and ready to wait, but the food came out SO fast. You pay ebfore you sit, and walk away from the counter with your drinks. I got their cafe de olla (delicious, syrup made in-house!) and boy got the horchata. Sat down and were almost immediately served our food. My only complaint is the beans - they seemed a little watery and unseasoned. But the salsa more than made up for that :) The inside is tiny, and theres limited outdoor seating. But it's cozy and homey and all the employees were incredibly kind. I forgot my purse when we left and a woman pretty much ran down the sidewalk to get it back to me. Thank you!!!!

Came here for brunch with my cousins a few weeks ago and I'm still thinking about this dish! I ordered the Enchiladas Suizas and OMG it was delicious! The cream sauce was unlike any other I've had with enchiladas and they were stuffed with a good amount of cheese! I added carnitas on top because I wanted a protein with it. This was a filling breakfast for sure! I also ordered an iced dirty horchata which I think next time I will order it to go so I can enjoy it later. The people behind the counter were so nice and helpful! Really want to come back to this place soon!

Came here for breakfast and was wondering why I've never been here before! El Camino Cafe sits at the tail end of El Camino in Old Town Tustin away from all the hustle and bustle, so parking is easier to find. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. You go up and order and then take your seat, and they are quick with preparing your food. Service was great, everyone was super friendly and quick to address any additional requests. I ordered the meat scramble and my wife got the huevos rancheros, and both tasted great. You could tell everything was freshly made, and the salsas provided were solid. The rice & beans were also good and well seasoned. It was a little odd they didn't provide complimentary water, but otherwise this was a solid, reasonably priced meal. I definitely want to come back and try their breakfast burrito next time, and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick breakfast in Tustin!

Came here for brunch with the whole family. There was a line out the door but I guess that is standard for a Saturday morning. You order before getting seated and there is a host that helps get you a seat. There were 6 of us so it took a little longer. The place itself is clean, cute but small. The food here was good, I liked my albondigas and was happy that I got to try it. It was a seasonal item. Although the overall experience was good, to be completely honest there is nothing special on their menu that I want to come back for. I would eat here again if invited but I wouldn't personally pick it.

This place is fantastic! I got the Chilaquiles with asada, fresh OJ and a bottle of prosecco. Betsy was so helpful, making sure I got the best first time meal and now I can't wait to be back. Love the vibe of this place. Especially hers.

I've had El Camino Cafe bookmarked for years and finally got the chance to visit with some friends. First off, the team is SUPER nice and welcoming. Everyone welcomed us and asked if we had any questions about the menu. The gentleman at the register was super cool and gave some good recommendations. Make sure to order your drinks (water included) at the register so you can pay for them at time of purchase. Once we sat down the food came out pretty quickly! The chilaquiles rojos were delicious with a great depth of flavor. We did the egg overhard and added avocado. Presentation was great and flavors were on point. The place is designed well and has a cool ambiance in Old Town Tustin. Can't wait to come back to try the breakfast burrito! Thanks for the great food and awesome service!

Came here bc I was in the area and wanted a breakfast burrito. I added beans (2$) to the breakfast burrito ($14) and got a side of chips and salsa ($5). The burrito did the job but wasn't remarkable. Service was pretty fast. I think overall there could've been more flavor in the burrito and salsa. Beautiful location and cool ambiance but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, for the price point you can find better food.

After dental visit around the corner I located this awesome Mexican food eatery .. Wow , Alex , Shiloh , Betsy blessed me.

Nice little hidden gem in Old Town Tustin. Phenomenal breakfast! Now I may call this a hidden gem but be prepared for lines! However, the staff is very efficient and courteous with arranging seating. It's the perfect spot to enjoy nice quiet Sunday morning breakfast when you eat outside on their patio. Highly recommend on all accounts!

My sister introduced me to this place and I'm so glad she did. The food is so good, tastes like a homemade Mexican breakfast that my grandma would make. In addition to it, I love the vibrancy and homelike feel that the place has, it feels like you're walking into someone's home rather than a restaurant. It helps even more that the owner and workers are so welcoming and friendly with their guests. Despite the space being somewhat small, they were accommodating of the baby stroller I had which I greatly appreciated. I had their red chilaquiles and added avocado and sour cream to it. 10/10! Really great flavor. Their dirty horchata was equally delicious!

Do they charge for water??I had heard this, hoping it's a rumor. Also, Why are all the one star reviews filtered out? Seems sus to me.

They refuse to give tap when you ask. The guy says, "it's not possible." If you don't order any drink, you get an attitude. The food is expensive and isn't even good. Pass on the abuse.

What are the vegan options? :)

    None

    Do they take reservations?

No. You also have to order first before you can take a seat.

    Is there barbacoa?

Yes but depends on if they have the meat

Smiling, she said, "Let's celebrate with Spanish tapas." So the beautiful day began with milk tea and chocolate before we headed to the newly opened restaurant Fat of the Land for their Mother's Day brunch, conveniently located on North Main Street in Santa Ana. I later found out it was a special Sunday brunch created just for Mother's Day. Thanks to my daughter's reservation, we were seated right away. The menu selection was smaller than usual, probably because of the special brunch menu, but every tapas dish sounded delicious. We ordered the Castelvetrano olives, Galician smoked paprika octopus, French steak tartare, and Basque cheesecake, paired with a Fiero Spritz and Red Sangria. Both the octopus and steak tartare were outstanding. The Galician smoked paprika octopus was tender, flavorful, and carried just the right hint of spice. The French steak tartare was served on crispy toasted bread with cheese sprinkled on top -- a creative and delicious twist on a classic dish. Fat of the Land truly feels like a hidden gem, and I had such a wonderful time celebrating Mother's Day with my daughter there.

The sangria was super delicious, not overly sweet, which we liked. We ordered the arepo plate which was devoured instantly. - good appetizer to start. Over the sangria, arepo plate and pork peppers were the best thing of the night. Staff was very friendly, the setting was intimate. Overall good dinner.

The pictures and reviews of the French omelette with caviar and sourdough pancakes sold us! When we arrived, the parking situation was seamless and easy to find a spot. The place isn't big but the aesthetic is clean and simple. You go up to the register to get seated. There was a wait list since this is a cozy spot but they had chairs available outside of the entrance. The time waiting was little longer than promised but not too bad. Once we were called to our table, we had iced water cups on the table with the menus and table settings. We already knew what we wanted - a horchata iced latte and a steak breakfast burrito for me and a black strap molasses iced latte and crispy chicken sando for my bestie. We also got sourdough pancakes and the cinnamon roll to share. The coffee came first then food was pretty quickly after and presentation was beautiful. The breakfast burrito was so delicious. The scrambled eggs in the burrito were cooked perfectly and they had a perfect amount of steak pieces. They brought a strawberry haberno hot sauce for the table and it made it even tastier. I preferred that sauce over the side of green sauce. I then tried a bite of the chicken sando and wow the flavor you get in the bite was also so, so good. We also enjoyed the sourdough pancakes with the crispy edges and the cinnamon roll had the perfect amount of cinnamon! This cinnamon roll had pistachio pieces on top and it wasn't too overwhelming. As for the iced lattes, I preferred my bestie's latte more than the horchata one. The horchata one had a burnt aftertaste. Other than that, food and service was TOP NOTCH! We were greeted and treated with the best hospitality from Alex. Thank you so much! Their menu consist of breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, dinner, Mexican, salads, sides, kids, and beverages. Frisco burger has a beef patty with bacon, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and 1000 Island dressing, served on grilled Parmesan cheese bread. The burger was decent, it didn't quite blow me away. The ingredients were fresh, and the combination was enjoyable, but I felt it was missing a little something to make it truly memorable. If you're looking for a solid burger experience, it's worth a try, but it may not be my first choice for next time. the burger was decent, it didn't quite blow me away. I would rate the Frisco burger a solid 3 out of 5. It was decent, but I expected a bit more to make it truly stand out. My boyfriend would rate it a 4/5 since it was okay for him. French fries were crispy and well-cooked, with a nice golden-brown color. They had a satisfying crunch on the outside, while remaining fluffy on the inside. I would have appreciated some dipping sauces or seasoning options on the side to enhance them a bit more. I would give the French fries a 3/5. They were decent but didn't quite wow me. Horchata was refreshing and creamy, with a lovely balance of sweetness and cinnamon spice. The texture was smooth, providing a comforting drink that complemented my meal well. I would rate the horchata a 4/5 since I have to mix mine to get the horchata flavor. Carne asada nacho fries were crispy and golden, providing the perfect foundation for all the amazing toppings. Generously layered with tender, seasoned carne asada, each bite was a wonderful blend of savory beef and crunchy fries. The melted cheese added a rich creaminess that brought everything together, while the pico de gallo contributed a refreshing burst of flavor. I love the chop chilies personally. The finishing touches of guacamole and sour cream added just the right amount of creaminess and zest. This is absolutely my favorite meal. My boyfriend and I would rate the carne asada nacho fries a perfect 5/5--an outstanding fusion of flavors and textures. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is plenty of parking. I'm only giving it a 4 because of the burger. I would definitely come back here to try their other food alternatives.
