Katakat Chopped Cheese, Burns Load Fries, The Mango Burn, Lemon Mint Drink

This desi american fusion spot was so unique! the mango burn burger had so many spice elements that didn't skimp on flavors/fillings. if you love spicy, that one's for you. The katakat chopped cheese (spiced beef on hoagie roll) had a soft bread and also similarly spiced juicy ground beef. Loaded fries use the best kind of fries, double battered. I believe this spot doubles as a hookah lounge and is open late at night so its a great spot to hang out with friends (:

Such a fantastic hidden gem in Tustin! The food is some of the best I've had in OC -- Pakistani flavors with fusion concepts. Service was friendly and the ambiance was great. They also serve as a hookah bar and have a ton of outdoor seating with heaters for you to enjoy a relaxing time. They also have TVs for you to watch games if you're interested. We ordered so many things - mango lassi 5/5 - mint lemonade 4/5. Could use more mint - burns loaded fries 5/5. Great use of sauce - nihari quesadilla 5/5 amazing flavors - mango burn burger 3/5 not a fan of the sweetness - chopped cheese 5/5 no notes - mango kulfi 5/5 unique texture and flavor. Also made in house! Overall had a great time and will be coming back :)

Burns Road is such a cool restaurant, they serve American and South Asian fusion food that are filled with exciting spices! It turns into a hookah lounge in the evening, it's honestly a good spot to hang due to all the available seating spaces, variety of food, and the option to enjoy hookah depending on the time of day someone visits. We got to try a lot of their food as well and will be back, they have a really sick lunch BOGO deal on their classic burgers! Definitely worth it!

The ambiance is really nice well-decorated with a great vibe. The staff is super friendly and quick, which makes the experience even better. They recently added a nihari quesadilla, and it was amazing definitely the standout. We also tried the chicken quesadilla, but it wasn't as good as the nihari one. The nihari bowl was a bit on the watery side, but still flavorful. The halwa puri thali was also good. The qeema sandwich, however, wasn't my favorite it was pretty oily and hard to eat. On the plus side, the fries are always solid. The chai isn't really karak it's a bit watered down but still enjoyable. The mint black tea was really good though. The hookah was also great, and the person preparing it was attentive and fast. Overall, a good spot with some standout items I'd definitely come back for.

Mushroom + swiss cheese: solid and a classic with more of a brioche bun Halwa poori: first time trying this and loved the flavors - flaky airy bread that pairs well with the chickpea curry. halwa was fairly spiced and starchy Signature Chicken wings - in house, fried to order honey ginger burn is a unique twist on hot honey Drinks + Dessert Lemon mint frosty: very sweet but refreshing Monsoon Mango lassi: not overly sweet and liked this over the island guava Island guava lassi: too sweet for my taste but makes a great dessert drink Churros: def a classic sweet treat when eaten hot and crispy. with two sauces - chocolate and custard-like

We are so happy that we decided to try this place! The restaurant is very spacious and clean. We ordered a variety of things and it was served to us very quickly. The food here is AMAZING! We ordered the aloo paratha roll (potato curry), a classic burger and fries, nihari with naan, katakat chopped cheese. we also got a lemonade slushie which was very refreshing. Everything was so flavorful! My favorite was the chopped cheese and nihari. The nihari is like a beef stew and the meat was so tender. I also saw that they turn it into a hookah lounge at night!! 10/10

This is THE SPOT. This place absolutely blew my socks off! Such a phenomenal spread of unique flavors that were simply out of this world. Seating is comfortable and spacious, with a wonderful outdoor patio area as well. Service was so friendly and inviting. It's so hard to find places where people seem like they are enjoying being at work, so this alone really stood out for me to see happy employees! But let's get to the star of the show: THE FOOD. If you can handle spicy, you NEED to try the Mango Burn. Raita on a burger was the combination I didn't know I needed!! Be sure to pair it with a lassi, this one definitely has a kick to it. The Burns Loaded Fries were another must-try. I swear these flavor combinations are unreal...in the best way! Don't forget to try something classic like the Halwa Poori Thali as well. You simply can't go wrong here. Even if you aren't feeling adventurous, something classic like the Mushroom and Swiss Cheese Burger was one of the best I've ever had as well. They also serve hookah in evenings on the patio, and are open until 2am on Friday and Saturdays. Such a great spot to grab some good food and hang out with friends. I love the vision, and the food!!! I'd highly recommend this spot, you won't be disappointed. We need more gems like this in South OC.

I have been wanting to go to Burns road for a while, but I was hesitant after reading at the reviews. Went yesterday on a Saturday as was craving Halwa puri nashta. We went at an odd time around 3 . The place was all Empty. We ordered nihari , halwa puri ,omellete and a crispy chicken burger. Halwa poor was Very very average, it lacked the spices and flavor. Nihari tasted and looked a bit weird. The burger had weird taste as well. Only thing bearable was the omelette. Wouldn't be going back. They need to up their game big time. Service was excellent though.

Newly opened, Burns Road is a South Asian-American inspired restaurant and Hookah Lounge. They take American dishes such as the classic burger, chicken sandwich, and chopped cheese but add bold South Asian flavors and spices. Burns Road also has Pakistani/Indian Parantha Rolls and Weekend Nashta. The staff are friendly and there is a lively atmosphere inside (there's even a giant 4 screen tv!). Mango Lassi: refreshing and smooth, not too sweet, perfect! 10/10 Qeema Paratha Thali: comes with Qeema, Cholay, Aloo, Onion Pickle, Paratha. I've never eaten something like this before, but it was delicious. I love how each side has its own unique flavor and the paratha comes out piping hot! 10/10 The Katakat Chopped Cheese: one of my favorites out of what I ordered. The bread is so soft and the meat is cooked perfectly. You won't be disappointed with this one 9.5/10 Chicken Burn with Masala Fries: the sandwich was actually really spicy for me. I asked for level 2 as it comes as level 3. Even with the spice, the flavor was delicious. It has a bit of a sweet tang to the classic chicken sandwich flavor. The fries were crispy with the right amount of seasoning 9/10 Honey Ginger Burn Chicken Wings: sweet and tangy- classic wings! 8/10 Overall, I definitely recommend trying Burns Road to experience how they've reinvisioned classic American dishes.

Great experience. American fast food with a desi take. We had 1) the classic, 2) burns road chicken tikka, 3) the roadside (nihari beef burger), 4) mango burn, and 5) nihari and naan plate. The food took a little while to come out but it was very tasty when it came and was clearly freshly made to order. Quality and cooking of the beef was very good in all 4 meat items. Also the guava lassi was amazing and def helped to ease the heat (would def recommend it if you go for a 3 chili level item). Nice ambiance overall - it was a little quiet for a Saturday evening which was surprising given the food was so good. Service was friendly and helpful - Steve helped us decide on our order and later came out to check on us. Overall great experience and look forward to returning.

    New menu

Didn't love the customer service. Burgers were pretty good, however, the naan and alo tikki were cold. They changed their menu and the items we were excited to try per advertised were discontinued. Overall mid experience; didn't feel like authentic Karachi food.

The decor of the place looks exactly the same as before withe a very similar menu, full of American food but they did add some Mediterranean Items. They do also host events like live musical performances or rent out the entire space for private events from the sign. We came recently to watch a World Cup game on the multiple TV's near the bar area. They do have one large TV mounted on the side which is a combination of like 9 TVs but the picture quality was OK since the screens were abit dated with washed out colors with some dead pixels. We did get a full spread of food and drinks including beers and cocktails. They do have a wide variety of beers on tap BUT a majority are sold out so do ask or have a backup choice! The cocktails were tasty and standard for a sports bar. Our favor was the strawberry margarita but you can't really go wrong with any of the margaritas since they were standard recipes and flavors. They are slightly on the stronger side too! The food we got was a very pretty good for a sport bar: Hawawshi - Stuffed Pita Bread: grilled Pita bread stuffed with seasoned ground beef with onion and jalapenos served with tahini sauce. This is very tasty with the well seasoned ground beef paired with the tahini sauce and great for sharing. Shawarma Chicken Sandwich - This one was unexpected since it was wrapped in a tortilla wrap instead of the usual Pita bread so was more like a chicken burrito? The flavor was good with very tender sliced chicken paired with the garlic sauce, tomato, onions and tzatiki sauce too. Shawarma Fries: fries topped with beef or chicken shawarma , tomato , onion, parsley, feta cheese , cheddar cheese and tahini sauce. We got the beef and this was definitely the favorite of the table. This takes all the flavors of shawarma and puts it on some thick crispy fries and goes perfect with beers/cocktails. The one big issue at this place is the service is very slow since they are very short staffed! So everything from ordering, to drink to food delivery is extremely slow especially on a packed day like a World Cup game day. We waited a good 20-30 minutes before our first round of beers came and about 30 minutes for the food. It was obvious on the timing since it was way pass the first hydration break almost till halftime before we even started drinking! Overall, an OK place to hangout with friends to watch a sporting event but just don't expect fast service. They need to either hire more servers or they will lose repeat customers for future events.

Items such as bolani, koobideh, and other menu offerings are more commonly associated with Afghan and Persian culinary traditions. Although the menu also includes Mediterranean staples such as falafel, shawarma, and hummus, those dishes seem to represent a smaller portion of the overall selection. The mint lemonade was not very sweet, which is a matter of personal preference. I also found the color unusually vibrant, and after sitting for a while, the drink began to separate, which I found somewhat unexpected. The pizza was disappointing. It reminded me of a typical store-bought pizza, and I have had frozen pizzas that offered better flavor and quality. The beef koobideh and beef kebab were decent and enjoyable, but they did not particularly stand out compared to similar dishes available at other local restaurants. Service was somewhat disappointing during our visit. The hostess/server appeared to be managing a large number of tables on her own and seemed genuinely overwhelmed at times. While the overall service experience was not as attentive as I would have liked, it appeared to be more a matter of staffing or workload than a lack of effort on her part. The highlight of the experience was the patio. It is a pleasant space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea, and spend time outdoors. For me, the atmosphere was stronger than the food itself.
