The ambiance is really nice well-decorated with a great vibe. The staff is super friendly and quick, which makes the experience even better. They recently added a nihari quesadilla, and it was amazing definitely the standout. We also tried the chicken quesadilla, but it wasn't as good as the nihari one. The nihari bowl was a bit on the watery side, but still flavorful. The halwa puri thali was also good. The qeema sandwich, however, wasn't my favorite it was pretty oily and hard to eat. On the plus side, the fries are always solid. The chai isn't really karak it's a bit watered down but still enjoyable. The mint black tea was really good though. The hookah was also great, and the person preparing it was attentive and fast. Overall, a good spot with some standout items I'd definitely come back for.

This desi american fusion spot was so unique! the mango burn burger had so many spice elements that didn't skimp on flavors/fillings. if you love spicy, that one's for you. The katakat chopped cheese (spiced beef on hoagie roll) had a soft bread and also similarly spiced juicy ground beef. Loaded fries use the best kind of fries, double battered. I believe this spot doubles as a hookah lounge and is open late at night so its a great spot to hang out with friends (:

Burns Road is such a cool restaurant, they serve American and South Asian fusion food that are filled with exciting spices! It turns into a hookah lounge in the evening, it's honestly a good spot to hang due to all the available seating spaces, variety of food, and the option to enjoy hookah depending on the time of day someone visits. We got to try a lot of their food as well and will be back, they have a really sick lunch BOGO deal on their classic burgers! Definitely worth it!

Newly opened, Burns Road is a South Asian-American inspired restaurant and Hookah Lounge. They take American dishes such as the classic burger, chicken sandwich, and chopped cheese but add bold South Asian flavors and spices. Burns Road also has Pakistani/Indian Parantha Rolls and Weekend Nashta. The staff are friendly and there is a lively atmosphere inside (there's even a giant 4 screen tv!). Mango Lassi: refreshing and smooth, not too sweet, perfect! 10/10 Qeema Paratha Thali: comes with Qeema, Cholay, Aloo, Onion Pickle, Paratha. I've never eaten something like this before, but it was delicious. I love how each side has its own unique flavor and the paratha comes out piping hot! 10/10 The Katakat Chopped Cheese: one of my favorites out of what I ordered. The bread is so soft and the meat is cooked perfectly. You won't be disappointed with this one 9.5/10 Chicken Burn with Masala Fries: the sandwich was actually really spicy for me. I asked for level 2 as it comes as level 3. Even with the spice, the flavor was delicious. It has a bit of a sweet tang to the classic chicken sandwich flavor. The fries were crispy with the right amount of seasoning 9/10 Honey Ginger Burn Chicken Wings: sweet and tangy- classic wings! 8/10 Overall, I definitely recommend trying Burns Road to experience how they've reinvisioned classic American dishes.

This is THE SPOT. This place absolutely blew my socks off! Such a phenomenal spread of unique flavors that were simply out of this world. Seating is comfortable and spacious, with a wonderful outdoor patio area as well. Service was so friendly and inviting. It's so hard to find places where people seem like they are enjoying being at work, so this alone really stood out for me to see happy employees! But let's get to the star of the show: THE FOOD. If you can handle spicy, you NEED to try the Mango Burn. Raita on a burger was the combination I didn't know I needed!! Be sure to pair it with a lassi, this one definitely has a kick to it. The Burns Loaded Fries were another must-try. I swear these flavor combinations are unreal...in the best way! Don't forget to try something classic like the Halwa Poori Thali as well. You simply can't go wrong here. Even if you aren't feeling adventurous, something classic like the Mushroom and Swiss Cheese Burger was one of the best I've ever had as well. They also serve hookah in evenings on the patio, and are open until 2am on Friday and Saturdays. Such a great spot to grab some good food and hang out with friends. I love the vision, and the food!!! I'd highly recommend this spot, you won't be disappointed. We need more gems like this in South OC.

I have been wanting to go to Burns road for a while, but I was hesitant after reading at the reviews. Went yesterday on a Saturday as was craving Halwa puri nashta. We went at an odd time around 3 . The place was all Empty. We ordered nihari , halwa puri ,omellete and a crispy chicken burger. Halwa poor was Very very average, it lacked the spices and flavor. Nihari tasted and looked a bit weird. The burger had weird taste as well. Only thing bearable was the omelette. Wouldn't be going back. They need to up their game big time. Service was excellent though.

Great experience. American fast food with a desi take. We had 1) the classic, 2) burns road chicken tikka, 3) the roadside (nihari beef burger), 4) mango burn, and 5) nihari and naan plate. The food took a little while to come out but it was very tasty when it came and was clearly freshly made to order. Quality and cooking of the beef was very good in all 4 meat items. Also the guava lassi was amazing and def helped to ease the heat (would def recommend it if you go for a 3 chili level item). Nice ambiance overall - it was a little quiet for a Saturday evening which was surprising given the food was so good. Service was friendly and helpful - Steve helped us decide on our order and later came out to check on us. Overall great experience and look forward to returning.

This place is an absolute fusion bomb. The food was great, I had the chicken burn and they even put the chilis on the side for me. Honestly cannot pick which dipping side was the best. Just get them all! The lemon mint drink was so good I needed seconds which they gave me on the house. Super friendly service. Definitely coming back for more

Clean and bright inside with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and they were friendly. The food was just mediocre. Nothing stood out. I was expecting spiciness but that was not was given. The tenders were a bit more spicy than the burger and the sandwich.

    Roadside burger $16.50

Burns Roads is a casual Pakistani restaurant named after a popular foodie street in Karachi. All the food served here is HALAL. Their non-breakfast items consist of an assortment of burger options and chicken tenders. Breakfast items are served on the weekend and include halwa, qeema, omelet, and various thalis. Roadside ($16.50) - This consisted of a beef patty seasoned with spices that are common to ones used in nihari (i.e. cardamon, cumin, cloves, coriander, chilis, etc). Fresno chilis, tomato, house slaw, red onions, watermelon radish, and a house aioli rounded out the burger. The burger was tender, had a lot of heat as well as spice to it. To be honest, the burger should have costed half as much. Halwa ($10) - This was made with semolina, sugar, ghee, water, and saffron. The a la carte portion is a good size, but the amount of saffron utilized was too over powering and it didn't taste as good as Bundoo Khan's offering in Fullerton. Parata ($4) - This is a flaky whole wheat flat bread layered with ghee. I found it to be just ok, and not as crispy and flaky. Puri ($2) - This is a deep-fried bread made from unleavened whole-wheat flour, known for its puffy, crisp texture and often served with halwa. Qeema ($14) - The a la carte portion of this ground beef dish was plentiful and seasoned so well. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of this dish and would definitely get this again. Burns road parata ($13) - This was by far my favorite dish here and it came with a parata and an omelet made with eggs, onions, tomatoes, green chilies, and a blend of spices like turmeric, chili, and coriander powder. Overall, I found the burgers here to be overpriced and some of the dishes didn't meet expectations. However I was impressed with the qeema and the Burns road parata and would be back for that. I did sample some mango lassi and found that to be refreshing.

This place recently replaced what was Hotspot Grill. They have been actively posting on IG and so we have had them on our list since opening. The inside was updated a little but with the rain coming down yesterday, we did notice the roof leaking water behind the counter area where food was being prepared. I docked a star for that! The food was decent. I had the Mango burn. I enjoyed the spice level and meat to toppings ratio in my burger. It had a unique taste to it. The roadside did promise a nihari taste to it. Which I felt was there, but that burger was not as good as the Mango burn. The different sauces also all had unique tastes to them. The disappointment came when I had a bite of the qeema thali. The paratha size has decreased and both the qeema and cholay lacked flavor/spice. Overall it was a positive experience with the place looking a lot more lively than before.

A True Gem in Orange County -- My New Favorite Spot!…read more Fanous Mediterranean Grill is absolutely exceptional -- hands down one of my favorite places in all of Orange County. From the moment you walk in, you're met with the most vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The music is fun and lively, the energy is amazing, and the entire place just feels like a celebration of culture and incredible food. Let's talk about the food... WOW. Every dish tastes unbelievably fresh -- you can literally feel how high-quality the ingredients are with every bite. The flavors are bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced. Whether you're ordering a classic dish or trying something new, everything is cooked to perfection. Their beverages deserve their own shoutout. They offer everything from refreshing, crisp juices to beautifully brewed Middle Eastern teas that warm your soul. It's rare to find a place where the drinks stand out just as much as the food, but Fanous nails it. The hookah? Amazing. Their flavored hookah is smooth, full, and clearly made with care -- perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. And the staff... truly some of the nicest, most attentive people you'll ever meet. They make you feel like family from the moment you sit down. And finally -- the kenefeh. I don't even know how to do it justice. It's rich, perfectly sweet, warm, cheesy, crispy... just absolutely heavenly. Easily one of the best desserts I've ever had. Fanous Mediterranean Grill is a rare combination of fantastic food, great ambiance, and incredible service. If you haven't been yet, you are genuinely missing out. This place deserves all the spotlight -- and more.

I do like Mediterranean food and actually had a delicious Mediterranean lunch the day before at Villa Haven in Tustin. I ordered Chicken Shawarma which came with rice and pita bread. For my drink I asked for water. The water came in a bottle, which they charged me for, the rice was tasteless and the chicken I'll give a 4 out of 10. The waiter never came back to check on me or to ask if everything was okay. In honesty the only reason I'm even writing this review is in visiting the co-ed bathroom on the way out and once watering my hands the soap dispenser had no soap and the paper towel holder on the wall was empty so I had to leave with wet hands. I don't know if they have a separate bathroom in the kitchen for the cooks and staff but anyone using this bathroom had no soap or paper towel either.

They were having karaoke night which was fun to watch! There were only a couple servers working, and one was training, so it was a bit slow but they were super nice. We tried a few different salads and kebabs, they were all delicious! Tried the chicken Shirazi, Caesar, and Greek salads. All were good and worth trying. We also got chicken koobideh, beef/lamb koobideh, filet mignon skewer, and chicken skewer. I love koobideh, theirs was very tasty and tender.
