This location has consistently been wonderful. The staff are always kind. This review is in reference to my experience this evening in which they went above and beyond. It seems there was a mistake on the website that showed the Valentines heart shaped pizza still available. We thought we ordered a pepperoni, but we did not. We ordered plain cheese on accident. I called to first confirm whether the order was our error. If it was, we of course were happy to keep the heart shaped cheese. They confirmed that we did in fact order the cheese. However, they insisted we come down so they could make the heart shaped pepperoni pizza (mind you, they don't make it after Valentine's Day!) that we thought we ordered. When I arrived, they confirmed what I wanted vs what was actually ordered. After I told them that they didn't need to need to make the special shape, they insisted they would. I did mention that this was for my daughter, but I am positive they would have done it anyway. I requested more than once to pay as this was our error, and they refused to take any money from me. I made sure to tip well, and given the entire experience I still feel it wasn't enough. Once my pizza was ready to take home, I made sure to thank who I think is the manager (or probably owner of the franchise), and he was SO gracious! As was the other man that was there. We used to order from the RT on S. McDowell in the plaza with Safeway, Staples, See's, etc. We nearly always had problems (at one point we ordered 1.5hrs before delivery was unavailable and when we called, they told us they were closed) so were very excited when this location opened as we have a picky eater and sometimes pizza equals a stress free night. They have been so consistent and reliable. It feels silly to rave about a chain pizza place and typically I wouldn't, but these guys are amazing. read more

Came in this evening with my son. There was one person working, Christoper M. This guy was a rock star! He was solo handling multiple take out orders and ours. He remained calm and professional and delivered our order in a timely manner and it was cooked to perfection. I inquired about how to express my experience to management with Manuel when he arrived at a later time. He was extremely helpful and he too has represented this Round Table location as a true professional several times I have eaten there. read more

I previously got a really bad Pizza at a different location yesterday. But Yahir invited me to come by and make it right, even though it wasn't his store or his problem. What a hero! Great service with friendly staff. Got our order quickly. Salad bar was fresh. Pizza was delicious and so were the mozzarella cheese sticks. Someone even came to check on us and make sure we were happy with our food and service which was unexpected for a Round Table Pizza. read more

I just had the absolute best experience at this Round Table Pizza! I work just down the street and had quite a day. On the way to the garage I decided to stop for a pizza to take home. The guys were so welcoming and helpful with my order! They recommended a special I would not have known about and I thankfully took a seat and waited. Well I was so relaxed that when I got home I realized I left a very prized possession in the restaurant and phoned and raced back. Both employees, Manuel and I so wish i got the other gentleman's name, greeted me happily and we had the best conversation! I will be back often. Can in for a pizza at 11pm while we were passing though Petaluma from an event in American Canyon. I like to tip in cash and when I put $0 on the receipt the guy flipped out on us and said "what no tip" very loud and made some other weird noises before I was done signing. I didn't have an opportunity to pull out cash from my pocket. When the pizza came out it was wrong and I felt it was done on purpose. I mentioned this and there was nothing done to correct it, all the pizza maker said is "oh" The cashier was super rude to other customers coming in, greeting them with "what do u want". I called the next day and spoke with the manager, and then later the owner called me back. He offered to give me a free pizza and I told him I would never be back and would just prefer a refund he refused and never called me back to follow up after he took a look at the video footage. The pizza made here isn't even the same as the round tables I frequent in my city and everywhere else I been. It's much thicker and way too much cheese. If you want a horrible experience the this is your place. The only good thing out of this was how nice the Manager was. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and they gave us a full meat pizza. When we called to report this problem, they began arguing with us telling us they were not responsible for "their call center" who messed up our order and aggressively blamed us for ordering a meat pizza, which is outrageous because we did not. They stood by the fact that they were not responsible for a call center associated with their orders...How very bizarre. We used to order their pizzas to support a local shop but this is so unhelpful and ungenerous we will never order from them again. Word to the wise, go somewhere else. Not a real Round Table.. Not even sure why it has the name. I have been going to Round Table's since I was a young child and this is absolutely nothing like the pizza at other round tables. Very disappointed. We called them once we saw our pizza in hopes to get them to remake it and they said this is what the pizza is supposed to look like. This looks like a thin crust pizza to me which I didn't even think round table offered and was not what we requested. It's almost as if they are using a completely different dough. Waste of $45 for our Friday night dinner. Will not be coming back here unfortunately. read more

Literally just got lunch there for a couple of us in our office and the bbq chicken pizza was probably the worst one we've ever had. The amount of bbq sauce literally made it unedible. Been having this pizza for years and never had it like this before. It was made so horribly and sloppy that the inside tasted uncooked because it was overloaded with the toppings. Firstly, as a downtown business owner, I'm BLOWN AWAY that they were even allowed to open in downtown Petaluma as it's always been a point that NO CORPORATE BUSINESS should be allowed to open their doors in the downtown area. Secondly, the one and only time I've ever now eaten here, they quoted me a 30 minute pickup time. 1 hour later, my pizza STILL HADN'T BEEN MADE. None of the pizza makers wore gloves, and the people working were unprofessional. The teen who I paid for my pizza told me it'd be another half hour because they were "kinda behind". Three more patrons came in after me and they were all told their orders weren't ready. When they questioned the hostess as to why they'd also been misquoted time, she said "I'm sorry, we are kinda behind, I don't know what to tell you. Could be another 20-30 minutes." No attempt at offering a discount or free beverage while we all waited was made. In fact, the guy making the pizza has his mask down UNDER HIS CHIN, no gloves on and kept cursing every time the phone rang with an incoming order. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, extremely UNSANITARY and absolutely NO effort was made or apologies given to alleviate the situations. I'll never be back and I should've just given my money to Old Chicago, since they ARE a downtown pizza place with excellent pizza. read more

I have ordered pizza from here (way) in advance twice in the last two months and both times when I got there my pizza wasn't done and had to wait 10+ min for them to make it. The first time the pizza was BOMB and hot so it was worth the wait! Tonight is was cold and had no sauce on the pizza and the parm twists tasted so bland... not sure how it could be cold when I had to wait for it ... very inconsistent taste and not sure why there is a wait when I ordered ahead ? Love their pizza and the customer service is spot on! The owner is so friendly and always remembers my name and my order. One of these days I'll have to change my order and mix things up but in the meantime I am sticking to mushroom, olive, and onion. My pizza arrived cold and dry. The delivery driver was not very friendly. Won't do it again. Edit: after posting the review I got the same lame response from the management. Late review, but well earned. I threw my daughter a movie/pizza birthday party on Memorial Day. We walked over from the theatre to perfectly set up pizza party outside on the patio for 12+ 9-10 yr old hungry girls. My husband had the wonderful help of the one employee that was working that day! He went above and beyond to provide everything needed (plates, utensils, cups, napkins, pitchers of drinks, even a lighter for our candle)! Brought our pizzas out 5mins after arriving and they were perfect! we ordered more and didn't wait long for the additional pizzas to come out, considering he was all alone. Owners are not friendly there demeanor towards locals at the butter and eggs event was rude and unprofessional. The pizza was soggy and almost felt not fully cooked for the price i guess you get what you get. I was shocked to watch the owners tell customers who just spent hard earned money with them to not stand on the sidewalk after eating there food. A public sidewalk. This location is closer to my house than that other Round Table Pizza across town, but unfortunately I'm going to have to keep driving the extra distance because this one isn't good. They don't put sauce on the pizza. I was hoping it was a fluke and ordered again a few months later and ordered extra sauce, but there was nothing between the bread and the cheese. It wasn't a fluke. I've been to probably 20+ Round Table Pizza locations in my life, so I know it's not normal protocol to not put sauce on the pizza. read more
