Food was a 10 Service was a 10 Cleanliness was a 10 I couldn't have asked for a better lunch. Ask for Rafa. He was our server.

Made a reservation for three same day. Walked into a colorful waiting area. The restaurant is beautiful, the colors, tables, small window detailing I haven't seen much like it. I got the capri citrus mocktail and it was so good, the pick lady mocktail was even better. Calamari was perfect it comes with seasonal veggies as well with a side of aoli I believe. I got the Cotoletta as my main. We were still waiting on a salad as we were halfway through and server came to check in and we told her. Seemed like she had forgotten so we just told her to scratch that. The cotoletta does come with salad and the dressing was super flavorful with capers added, the chicken was okay I'll want to try something else next time. Overall pretty good!

This bustling place serves great delicious Italian favorite in a modern setting. It is a very loud restaurant. The help was charming and attentive. Our appetizers were perfect portions. I always appreciate it when something comes three to an order and there are four people, for the waitress to ask if we wanted a fourth meatball. Thoughtful. Silly not to. The Brussels sprouts could have used more char and flavor. The pizza with truffles smelled heavenly. The pizza had plentiful toppings. They serve the tiramisu in an espresso pot. A clever touch.

My family went to L'Oro Di Napoli to celebrate a birthday, the service and the food was amazing. The place looks amazing - great for a celebration, date night, or business dinner. Full disclosure: I wasn't there, but I scored the leftovers. The pistachio pizza is amazing and worth 5/5. The calzone is also rich and filling!

Stopped in for lunch and all the amazing reviews did not disappoint! We ordered the arugula & beet salad, diavola pizza, and prosciutto piadini. Food was authentic and delicious, it's clear they really care about the food and experience. Would 100% recommend!

Delicious pizza and a seriously buzzing atmosphere. Our waiter was attentive and the wines were really tasty. Note: the focaccia is not what you might be thinking of... it's more like a pizza without toppings. Perhaps this is something Americans misunderstand, but I was expecting something more pillowy. This lacked flavor for the most part. Also to note: the bruschetta used pretty flavorless tomatoes. That was surprising during tomato season. They were also logistically difficult to eat since the bread was thick and kinda hard. Otherwise, the calamari and all of the pizzas we ordered were delish.

Finally got to try this spot in downtown Petaluma and what a treat! So glad we made rezzos as it was slammed. It's conveniently located next door to brewsters so come early and grab drinks there before your dinner reservation! The decor was super cute with modern Italian decor and great pics of Italy everywhere. The food was some serious Italian comfort food, with a great wine list and aperol spritz/hugo spritz flowing. The wait staff were so friendly, efficient and attentive. We had the meatballs and the mushroom truffle toast to start and then had the gnocchi and bolognese and ended with the Nonna tarte and tiramisu served in an adorable mokka pot. I wish I had snapped more pics. It was all amazing!!!! I really hope this place sticks around!!!!

Ambiance: This spot seemed popular and newer, so we thought we'd check it out. Restaurant was crowded and loud (just a little too loud for our tastes since we had a hard time hearing each other). Decor was nice and the little lamp and flowers they had at the center of the table was a nice touch. Service: We hadn't made a reservation, but were sat right away. It took about 20 minutes for our waitress to come and take our order. It felt like a long wait and it seemed like the wait staff was stretched thin across the restaurant since I only saw a couple of waiters across the whole place. Fortunately, once our order was taken, the food came out in a more reasonable amount of time. However, in general, our waitress didn't come and check up on us very much throughout our meal and it felt like we needed to go out of our way to get the service we needed like refills and new napkins. Food: Salads were good. Unfortunately, it seemed like all the other dishes we ordered had the same problem - very salty. I thought the calamari was good since it's supposed to be salty and they gave you a good amount of it compared to other restaurants. However, we ordered a couple of pizzas and they were just so salty it was hard to get past. We also ordered the lamb chops and the meat quality just didn't taste quite right. We couldn't really put our finger on what was wrong, but ultimately we had to send it back. Overall, it felt overpriced for the food quality we received.

Insalata della Casa (split plate) at L'Oro Di Napoli in Petaluma.

Rustic authentic Italian cuisine served in the heart of downtown Petaluma, L'Oro Di Napoli and their impact on the dining scene in Sonoma County is just being felt as this is their second location and first in the city of Petaluma. Located on a busy intersection of Petaluma Boulevard North and East Washington Streets, L'Oro Di Napoli comes from partners Domenico De Angelis and Roberto Sbaraglia, who came together to share their ancestral cuisine with those in wine country. With their first location in downtown Santa Rosa making waves in such a short amount of time, it was only logical that a second even larger location would open in the heart of Petaluma replacing the long standing Lemongrass Thai Noodle. What brought a friend and I here for a quick dinner on a chilly weekend evening was the fact that Petaluma was bustling with activity that no matter where we went, every place had a room filled with customers. Thankfully when we happened upon L'Oro Di Napoli they had just opened for dinner service, and neither of their two bar areas that they conveniently have, were filled with diners just yet. Getting two seats at the bar was just some of our luck, as their dining room too would be filled with diners the longer we stayed in our seats. The dinner menu at L'Oro Di Napoli is separated into categories including Antipasti E Fritti, which was their appetizer and salad menu; Bruschette or bruschetta menu; Paste & Main or pastas and main courses; Le Pizze or pizzas; Contorni or sides, in addition to their wine and non alcoholic beverages; and their dessert menu. There were a lot of enticing menu items to choose from and our bartender / server Karla recommended their signature pizzas on their menu with their Boscaiola and their Manca Style being top sellers. Their Manca Style pizza was topped with sliced roasted potatoes, marinated cherry tomatoes, onions, Fior di Latte, basil and parmigiano. After learning that this pizza would only be available for a limited time, we both decided to order to share a couple of slices. To start our meal, we split their Insalata della Casa, which featured a mix of green salad topped with artichokes, marinated onions, dried tomatoes and a lemon mustard dressing. Our meal began with our salads and the biggest surprise was the fact that they were nice enough to split them into two salad entrées at no additional cost. These two salads served with extra pepper ground from a mill on top were the nicest salads that I have enjoyed in quite some time. Fresh with an abundance of vegetables with just the right amount of salt and seasoning, it was a great way to start our meal. While waiting for our freshly made, handmade pizza to arrive, we had the chance to take in all the lively activity of this new restaurant. The space is essentially two dining rooms separated by a wall, which helps keep the sound well-contained, so even with a full house, we never had to raise our voices to hear one another. It made for a comfortable and enjoyable dining atmosphere. Our pizza would arrive, and it was a delicious and unexpected way to enjoy fresh toppings on pizza. When adding in their accompaniments, including one of the spiciest hot oils that I have tasted, it only enhanced our meal. Being able to save a slice for takeout was an extra bonus. With extra room to consider dessert, it was recommended that their tiramisu was their handcrafted signature dessert, and we were sold. A traditional dessert filled with espresso soaked ladyfingers, with mascarpone cheese in between and topped with cocoa powder, what wasn't expected was the fact that this chilled dessert was served in an Italian stainless steel espresso maker. With our dessert finished and all the fun that came with it, our perfect meal at the perfect restaurant felt complete. Our final bill came to $54.02 which, for three courses shared between two people, I consider very reasonably priced. I'd happily return to L'Oro Di Napoli anytime I'm strolling through Petaluma. Diners here embark on a true culinary odyssey that celebrates the authentic flavors of Italy, thanks to their commitment to crafting each dish with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients, ensuring every bite is a symphony of flavor.

I remember when the Santa Rosa location opened up, and I tried a couple of their pizzas. I'm happy they got a Petaluma location since I've moved back there. I tried it with my aunt (who's a picky eater) and my cousin. Started with the bruschetta which was very refreshing. Tomato's were firm and juicy. Great and simple starter. We got two pizzas, but the pistachio one was our agreed favorite.. I thought it would be too complicated for my aunt, but she enjoyed it. The server was super friendly and helpful. She recommended the pistachio cake which we all absolutely loved. My cousin got some vanilla ice-cream with espresso, which he enjoyed too. Great looking restaurant. Very cosy. We sat next to the bar area. There was a cool projector displaying an old school film on the brick wall. Music playing was nice. All in all good ambiance. Glad we got to try it. Definitely a place worth eating there and enjoying. I don't think take out pizza would be the same. Gotta have it nice and fresh. Definitely will try their pasta dishes and other appetizers next time I visit.

Decided to try this new establishment that recently opened, great renovation and decor, ambience very nice as well as the decor-great looking bar. Place was busy and food was coming out steadily, being as we could get seated earlier we decided to eat small plates and was very happy with our choices. We also enjoyed an order of the house made focaccia with our salad. Service was witty and entertaining though very busy with other tables. We saw a lot of delicious dishes go by and decided we need to come back and continue "grazing" the menu. Well done my fellow paisans tutti delizioso! A presto!

The table itself was gorgeously set with candles, flowers, and all the little details that made it feel really special. They even customized the menus to say "Happy Birthday Taylor," which was such a fun touch. The food was incredible, and there was SO much of it, no one left hungry. The wine was flowing, the vibes were perfect, and our servers were great. It felt special without being stuffy at all. They also sent us home with fresh pasta, which was the cherry on top. A quick look at some other reviews showed me others have complained about the spicy bolognese. Bolognese is not normally spicy so it's definitely a bold choice of this restaurant to throw those in without warning. So, BE AWARE of that!! I'm still giving 5 stars because our server was super friendly, the restaurant was clean, comfy, and great location. And our food was tasty! They made it a point to mention several times that the Bolognese had nutmeg in the sauce (NOT cinnamon as someone else posted. That would be very different.) and made sure it was okay with us. When the Bolognese came out, we discovered that they had red pepper flakes on them. My son doesn't like spicy, so we had them make another one without (took only a few minutes and we brought the other one home). It was delicious and you can definitely taste the nutmeg.
