Pasta king food has always been delicious and fresh. we have been told by many that they are reliable and professional. That is exactly the service and experiance we had when we ordered this pasta to be served on our buffet line. They were friendly, easy to place a order with and had our food ready when we asked. LOL after I posted my last review on Pasta King I went to Town Green in Windsor. Now I give them one star because I cannot leave zero stars. I guess they pick and choose who can have an extra slice of bread at no charge. I saw a lady with two slices of bread. I asked her how much they charged her for the second piece. My dad had told me about this place but this week we finally went and it Was all he had promised. I had the cheese torelllini with a parmesan cream sauce, peas and pancetta and it was DELICIOUS! The garlic bread was also really good. The house garden salad was kind of weak but it was fine just nothing exciting. The people with me ordered the bruschetta, the pesto spaghetti and the spinach salad and said all were delicious. The service was definitely worth mentioning. Luis was our server and he was so attentive and very friendly. I will definitely go back very soon because this place is an overall great experience. read more

Now impressed at all. I should have known when he calls himself the Pasta King. Of What? He may be able to put out a lot of food, that makes it quick and easy for dinner, but at what cost. The ravioli had some indistinguishable stuff inside which did not hit the spot. I also had the pesto sauce which needs to have ingredients added to in order to even taste anything. Salt, lots of it. Great place with great service. Not fancy but classic Italian plus a variety of other foods. Salads are good lots of veggies, bean salad, salami and soups are always great. The pasta and the pizza are the stars. My favorite pizza is the verduno with roasted garlic, onions, artichoke Hearts, tomato and topped with fresh basil. So good. This place is so cool! I have lived up here for a million years and always driven by the Ibleto Pasta King's place, but for reasons unknown to me, I've never stopped in. So, yesterday I did! Set in the middle of horse and cattle ranches, on the outskirts of Cotati, they make all their own pasta and sauces and sell it right out of the production area. I bought a 2lb. meat lasagna, a 2 lb. meat polenta, a package of meat ravioli's and a 15 oz tub of meat sauce. Price? ... $18! Can you GET that!? $6 per meal. That's UNHEARD of!!!! ... and the taste, you ask? Delicious! Mouthwatering. No primping or spicing needed. It's fully cooked and ready to go into the oven. The most endearing part is, no one is usually in the store to take your money. This operation is done on the honor system. The sign on the wall says "We Trust You, Leave Your Money On The Desk. Thank You" So, you calculate your order yourself and leave the money under a post-it note on the desk. Adorable. read more

Pasta King is like a part of your family, except without the cheek squeezing. If you've attended any local fundraisers or the county fair, you've no doubt enjoyed some delicious Pasta King food. I don't care if this sounds cheesy, but I think it's the love that makes the food so hearty and good. It hits the spot and leaves you feeling good. As a younger person, I've been a loyal fan of the meat sauce but this is also how I got my first taste of pesto. I'm now a pesto lover for life. And seeing that Pasta King is present at so many fundraisers and supporting so many great causes just makes me love it all that much more. I thought Pasta King would be closed, pulling in there at 5:15p on a Thursday. Very pleased they weren't as they are well out of my way normally. I learned from the worker there that they are quite often open until 7pm or even later. I expressed my concern that their website said they were open 8am-5pm M-F. He said they haven't updated their website in years. So I asked what I should post their hours on Yelp as, and he said just until 5pm to be safe. M-Sa they open at 7am as they begin cooking. On Sunday they open later, as they don't cook on Sudays. He said to put down 9am to be safe. Be sure to bring exact change for when they are open and unattended. He also said that some people have sent the correct change there by mail. So honor system all the way! They also have garlic bread, minestroni soup and gnocchi here. I spent $40 even for the following: 2lb Meat Lasagne: Pasta is ribbed (good). Meat seems to have fillers (bad). Overall: okay. 2lb Meat Ravioli and 15oz meat sauce: 2lb Polenta with Marinara Sauce: 1 Garlic Bread: Whole loaf of sourdough sliced lengthwise. Garlic-butter slathered on inside. It was simply an accident that I grabbed a pan of Art Ibleto's polenta from the freezer case at Fircrest Market in Sebastopol (I thought I was reaching for his pesto lasagna (which I love)). I wasn't a fan of polenta until last Friday when I tried the Pasta King's version. It's easy to bake and has just the right amount of veggies, garlic, spices, marinara, and cheese - your house will smell delicious and your guests will think you made it from scratch! Each container of pre-made lasagna or polenta that you buy from a store dishes up 4 hearty and savory servings. Here's a tip... if you buy Pasta King products from Fircrest Market in Sebastopol or the Pasta King store on Stoney Point Rd. it will cost you about $3 less than buying from other retail outlets in Sonoma County. What are you gonna do? I was going to abstain. Or rather, that was my plan before I had just enough Bella Sonoma vino to loosen the inhibitions. And then, I saw it... Temptation in a Foil Pan: Garlic Polenta. Paleo backslide, thy name is POLENTA. Who knew it could be so awesome??? Creamy garlic goodness. I had several pieces. (Who am I kidding? I ordered $250.00 worth of food to be ready at 6pm on Dec 23th for my daughters 30th birthday. I was so devastate and wanted to cry. When I arrived to pick the food NOTHING was made. The man knew nothing about it and put a lady on the phone she sounded old and said she remembered the name. BUT NO FOOD. we had made the order a week before pick up and confirmed that day. So we called Union Hotel Restaurant and picked up family size pasta and salad it was so yummy! This is a review for Pasta King's frozen selections sold in major stores. I recently purchased a tin of the Pasta King's polenta with marinara sauce from Raley's in El Sobrante and boy was it tasty - not to mention gluten free and packed full of fresh ingredients with a very small ingredients list! The only thing that would have made this better was if the polenta was topped with a meat sauce instead of a marinara. Ingredients include yellow cornmeal, water, marinara sauce (tomatoes, water, onions, carrots, celery, soya oil, garlic, Italian seasonings, salt and pepper), mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. The only thing that would have made the ingredients list better was if they were organic and olive oil was used instead of soya oil. I'm looking forward to trying out the other polenta dishes offered by Pasta King. I hope my grocer decides to stock them! Yum, yum! read more

It pains me to write this but I think the "Pasta King"is not royalty but, a plain villager now. We have stopped by his quaint homestead 3 times in the last year and tried almost all of his products. They all are very flavorful but, dry when they come out of the oven. I wonder if they sit around in his freezer too long. We love his trusting nature where you walk in the door, nobody there, pull out of the freezer what you want, leave the money. and walk out. He is a GREAT old guy and I hope some people remember me that way too. read more

Had the half-and-half at the fair twice this year. Tried it two different days to make sure, but need to tell you that the red sauce wasn't edible. My friends agreed. Very salty, tasted like it was cooked down way too much and almost burnt. Been eating pasta King for years at the fair and catered. The green was tasty, but the red was just not good this year.
