Glad we had an 8pm dinner reservation on Saturday night (6/6/26) because the restaurant was busy! We were greeted by the host and other friendly staff members at the restaurant's entrance area and did not have to wait long for our table. The bar and the dining room area appeared very modern and clean. Started our meal with the Gochujang glazed cauliflower wings and they were phenomenal! Beneath the deliciously flavored glaze was a crunchy fried cauliflower that maintained its veggie tenderness! The allium dip was a bonus because it elevated the flavor to another dimension. This was definitely one of our favorite items of the night! The Parker rolls were served with a homemade butter and they were light and airy which made them pair nicely with the fresh golden beet salad. They served a very generous portion of lettuce and added all kinds of goodies in it- the burrata, pumpkin seeds , homemade french bread croutons , tomatoe and beets lightly coated with the balsamic dressing - yum! Moving onto the main entrees: the Lamb Rigatoni was served with al dente pasta in a light lemony cream sauce that combined shredded lamb shank with green peas. Was quite tasty and it was a nice change of pace from eating pasta with beef bolognese . The other entree was the Beef Wellington and it was rich ; the filet was cooked perfectly! We enjoyed every bite of this superb dish. Our meal ended with the chocolate mousse and the panna cotta which were equally delicious! Beautiful Restaurant, Unacceptable Service We made reservations through OpenTable for September 12, 2026, to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first visit to Bijou, and after seeing it highly recommended on both OpenTable and Yelp, we were genuinely looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, what should have been a special anniversary dinner turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. We were seated around 7:05 PM. Our server didn't come to our table for approximately 13 minutes. We were patient and understanding, assuming the restaurant was simply busy. Once our server finally arrived, we ordered drinks, appetizers, and our entrées. Then we waited. And waited. 41 minutes after ordering, our drinks finally arrived. At that point, we had been sitting in the restaurant for nearly an hour without receiving our drinks, let alone our appetizers or food. We had been more than patient, but there comes a point when waiting is no longer reasonable. We decided to leave. For an establishment that presents itself as a higher-end dining experience, this level of service is simply unacceptable. Being busy is understandable. Being understaffed is understandable. What is not understandable is continuing to seat guests when the restaurant clearly cannot provide even the most basic level of service. If you cannot properly serve the tables you already have, stop seating more tables. It's better to disappoint someone at the door than to ruin a special occasion after they've already been seated. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and I'll give them credit for that. Unfortunately, beautiful surroundings mean very little when the service is this poor. I've honestly received better service at a taco shop in Las Vegas at 2:00 AM with a line out the door. What makes it even more disappointing is that our experience apparently wasn't unique. The following day, September 13, we happened to meet a couple at another restaurant nearby. In conversation, they mentioned having a poor experience at Bijou as well, including receiving undercooked food multiple times. We chose Bijou specifically because of its reputation and the positive rankings we saw online. We came in expecting a memorable anniversary dinner and left after nearly an hour with essentially nothing to show for it. A beautiful restaurant with terrible service is ultimately just a beautiful place to wait. We will not be returning, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend Bijou based on our experience. read more

Service was great, the pacing was relaxed. We were there after 6:15 and most tables stayed the night put enjoying their dinner and wine. Food here was outstanding. After seeing the menu, my number one choice was the beef Wellington, second choice would have been the Bijou Burger. My SO wanted the Oxtail, but was thinking of an appetizer that would be just right. so the Trout Dip was chosen. This was a half processed fish and half avacado packed into a bowl. Scooping both halves was the best of both worlds. The dip was smooth and great flavors, I would get this again. Then when the entrees came out, and we started eating, half way throught both items were quite heavy and we started to feeling full. The beef Wellington was cooked to a medium consistency, the crust as still firm and mushroom filing great. The oxtail was so tender, it falls off the bone. A different flavoring but fantastic. We ended up taking the oxtail home as it would be diffcult to reheat beef Wellington. No room for dessert. It felt like mostly repeat locals dining here as they chatted with the wait staff a lot, but feel this deserve the hour drive to get here. Parking is avalaible street parking but there is a multi level parking garage near by. After that big meal, we walked around downtown and there was moderate activing and late night dining still going on. I will have to check out other near by areas in the future read more

Great service! Mostly very good food, decent wines by the glass list. Dining room is modern, stark, full of hard surfaces. It gets noisy when it's packed. We went at 7:15 on a slow Saturday evening and after having popped in once or twice before when it was packed, we enjoyed the slower ambience much better. By 7:30 they had sold out of the house specialty, the Beef Wellington. I was fortunate enough to get the last order. Yeah, it was really good. Beautiful presentation, with golden brown pastry, beautiful even pink tenderloin that was well seasoned. Served with a small mixed green salad, dressed in a citrus vinaigrette that really cuts through the rich beef flavors. This entire dish is well balanced and is a stand out. The French onion soup was unfortunately only like warm. The broth was not 'beefy' enough. Shame because I love a good French Onion soup. The wife had a red pepper and tomato bisque which was delightful though. Bright, tangy, and visually stunning topped with an array of bright sauces. Wife ordered the steak frites, and I honestly enjoyed the quality of that cut over the Wellington, but I'm not normally a filet guy to begin with. The disappointment here though was the fries. They were under seasoned. A perfect golden brown on the outside, but inside was too dense, not soft and pillowey the way fries oughta be. There is something about the interior that is a bit bland. I felt this at dinner as well. Came here for brunch. I will say for the price they should have SOMETHING come with the Benedict dish, a little salad, a couple potatoes. Somthing. We had the benny and bijou papa's and everything was great, the inside of the resturant is boring and nothing grabs your attention or excites you to be in there but the food is good. Bijou Restaurant offers an elevated dining experience that is a great idea for date night or special occasion. On the recommendation of a friend, I made my way to Bijou for an early dinner. On the corner of a busy downtown Petaluma street, it is easy to miss. However, once inside, the dining area feels very chic and modern. With the early dinner, I was able to order from the happy hour menu which was quite reasonable! A lot of the main options came available in happy hour sizes at $10, which was a great way to explore their menu. Here is what I tried: Trout Dip (4.5/5): The trout was rich and creamy providing a perfect vessel for the light airy potato chips. Super delicious and would order again! Bijou Slider (4.5/5): A mini version of their Bijou burger which is essentially a smash burger with slices of bacon and generous cheese. Very satisfying bite. Only wished there was something to add a little bit of contrast since it was heavy. Butter Milk Fried Chicken (3.5/5): Rich chicken thigh lightly coated in a mildly spicy sauce. It was good, but not sure I would necessarily need to order again. Little Gem Salad (4/5): Freshly tossed salad which provided the perfect balance to all the rich flavors. Just the right amount of dressing. Boufe En Courte or Beef Wellington (4.5/5): Really enjoyed this! Light flaky crust enclosed in a well cooked beef slice with a mushroom paste to provide that extra saltiness and umami. The sauce was slightly sweet to provide some balance. Pavlova (4/5): The mixture of exotic fruits included just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. In terms of service, it was fairly busy so there was a little bit of a lag. But the servers were friendly and appeared to do their best to check in. Parking is limited in the immediate vicinity so you are likely need to circle around a bit to find something and walk over. Had a date night with hubby at Bijou Restaurant. This was my first time dining here. We had reservations made through OpenTable for an early dinner at 5pm. It wasn't crowded, which was nice. We were greeted by our hospitable server. She shared with us that Happy Hour was until 6pm. It was nice to know they have Happy Hours. She was helpful and attentive, and the service had an upscale feel. I tried the Gem Salad and Cauliflower Bites. They were both delicious. I also tried the fish of the day which was a Branzino. It was crispy and full of flavor. It was made exactly to my liking. The vegetables that were served with the fish were from local farms, which I appreciate. The Opera desert was a nice way to end the course. It had the perfect sweetness. For you chocolate lovers...this is a must try. They change their menu often. The dishes on the menu were different from the prior photos shared on Yelp. This tells me that each visit will be a new adventure. read more

Greeted right away and our servers were attentive throughout the night. 5 stars to the wonderful staff. However the food was a different story. The worst dish of the night was the french onion soup. It was watery; no flavor at all and just so disappointing. The Parker rolls were delicious and paired nicely with the butter provided. We also ordered the Trout Dip which was great! Delicious and paired very well with their house made chips. I just wish the chip to dip ratio was more evenly matched. The steak was good! Not my favorite however but good to share. We also got a pasta but nothing to write home about. Overall, everything was just okay - food wise. Most of it lacked flavor and didn't wow me. For the price point I just wish it was better. March 20th 2026 we made a trip from the Bay Area to Petaluma to dine at Bijou, and it was absolutely worth it. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like guests into someone's home. The atmosphere is calm, inviting, and thoughtfully arranged, with well-spaced tables and a comfortable bar area that makes it an ideal spot for happy hour cocktail--something I especially appreciated since they honor happy hour at the tables as well. Bijou is led by Co-Chefs and Co-Owners Stéphane Saint Louis and Steven Vargas, who have created a truly memorable, approachable French-inspired dining experience. Chef Vargas was present during our visit and took the time to speak with us, which always elevates an evening. He and the entire Bijou team are personable, genuine, and down to earth--you can feel the care they bring to both the food and the hospitality. The menu and décor are understated, but don't mistake that for simplicity. Every dish we had was thoughtfully composed, beautifully plated, and perfectly executed. Flavors were balanced, seasonal, and never overworked--nothing was over-sauced or overthought. Each plate stood confidently on its own, and everything arrived at the proper temperature, which speaks to the kitchen's attention to detail. Our female server was knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations that enhanced the experience. A special shoutout to Dan who clearly takes pride in ensuring guests enjoy their time. His knowledge of spirits and willingness to share his favorites added an extra personal touch. I've seen some comments about pricing, but I found it to be very reasonable given the quality of the food, Crafted Cocktails, service, and overall experience--especially for this level of execution in the Bay Area. I'll let the photos speak for themselves, but Bijou left a lasting impression. It's a place that proves you don't need an elaborate menu or flashy décor to deliver something truly special--just passion, balance, and genuine hospitality. Very good food, ok service. My son (an aspiring chef) found this place while we were visiting. Made a last minute reservation for a Saturday night. When we sat down there was a vibe but I felt like we didn't belong. Anyway, we got the trout dip and parkerhouse rolls to start. Dip was really good. Fried capers were definitely something new. My son got the cacio de pepe and I got the pork chop. Bothe were really good. My dish came with a side of butternut squash that was unfortunately undercooked. Went to Bijou with some friends last week. They've been before and raved about it, and I have to say, it lived up to their hype! We started with their house potato chips and the burrata & fig salad. The chips were light, crunchy, and perfectly salty! The burrata & fig, with that delicious balsamic underneath was amazing. It was served so lovely with toasted crisps. For our mains, our table enjoyed a beef wellington, black cod, and pork chop. All were delicious! I tried a bite of my friends wellington - it was perfectly done and so good! The pork chop was amazing! It came with a creamed corn side dish that was also yummy. We splurged on TWO desserts - a pavlova and a chocolate dessert. Being a lover of TCP, we were super excited to try Bijou! I understand that new restaurants have learning curves, so taking the long wait times for apps/mains out of the review as I am sure that will get better overtime. Decor, sleek and inviting, but not over the top! It is pretty darn loud inside even with the noise dampeners, so something to keep in mind. Space wise, adequate, so no issues on that front. I guess where the review starts to drift is the food sadly. We ordered the Parker Rolls & Cheese Fondue (The latter being the highlight of the meal). The rolls came with several hairs in it, which does not bother me, but definitely bothered my significant other, which we ended up just cutting that piece of the roll off and ate the others. Rolls were okay, but nothing necessarily to write home about. The cheese fondue on the other hand was amazing and honestly the best item of the night for us. Mains, we opted for the Steak & Fish. While the steak was flavorful, the quantity was meh for the price point. As for the fish, the quantity could of been much more and the flavor was pretty bland, and tons of salt added. Our sides for the mains were in the same realm...should have passed on them as they were nothing memorable. As for the drinks, our cocktails were good, but they only offer mainstream spirits, nothing local or unique. The wine list was quite odd and very overpriced for the offerings, not sure what happened here. All and all, not trying to bash one bit, just being honest that coming from TCP to this was a huge let down and really don't see myself recommending or returning sadly due to the quality, quantity, and price point of the food. read more

As with many places in Petaluma, parking is an issue. The restaurant is on the corner of Washington & Kentucky. The decor is modern minimalist, so clean and bright. The menu is sparse, though based on local, available ingredients. I started with the house potato chips, which were very light and crispy. It comes with an Allium (onion) dip. Next was the pumpkin and butternut squash soup, this was creamy with a lot of flavor. The entree was the Cote du Pork with a squash ragout. The pork chop was large and breaded (didn't know about the breading until it arrived). It was good, and had a nice flavor, especially with the sauce. The squash ragout was okay, though a bit one note. I ended the meal with the ice cream cookie. Since moving to Petaluma, this might be the 3rd or 4th restaurant to go into this space. We've been to all of them, but Bijou is by far the best, in terms of food, wines on offer (both BTG and bottle list), and cocktail list. It's expensive, but you're getting TCP quality at a fraction of the price so it won't be a weekly thing for us, but rather an occasional splurge. Highly recommend grabbing a reservation. The bar is first come first served, but with only 6 seats, it'll be quite tough to get a seat without a decent wait unless you come right when they open. Most nights, I've seen openings around 8:30pm but if you want those prime hours, I didn't see anything available 2-3 weeks out for Friday or Saturday. The new space feels quite different to Easy Rider, which we always found a bit dark and really crowded. Bijou feels more open and much brighter - an improvement in my book. We sat at the bar - thankfully, a couple got up and left 5 mins after we checked in - and started with a Negroni. I mean it's pretty standard and the price isn't terrible ($14) for the Sipsmith gin. The peel cut into a parallelogram looks neat, but aromatically, since it was likely cut during prep, was a bit lacking. We started with a side of pommes frites ($8) and house ranch. They were soft and creamy on the interior, though not that crisp on the exterior. The house ranch is delicious - love the allium kick - but would've preferred just a simple aioli. The tortelli were delicious and the chicken jus "brodo" was so rich, complex in flavor, and full of umami. I think the farce was a mix of ricotta and some vegetables. Simple, but really delicious. The cannettes (duck - $38) came with slices of duck breast that were a perfect medium. The reduced jus was super tasty and the cherries added some nice acidity. The only thing that would've improved the dish would've been to have the fat cap on the duck rendered more and slightly more crispy. Not pictured were the accompaniments of potato dauphinois, which were so rich and creamy with a nice crispy cheese crust, and a delicious seasonal green salad. This paired brilliantly with their BTG Pinot Noir from Bennett Valley ($20), which had nice fruit but was quite different than the fruit bombs you'd see from Russian River. It was a bit more savory and had a really nice backbone of acid. You don't see too many Pinots these days at 12.1% abv. To close out the meal, we had the millefeuille ($12), which was insanely delicious and not too sweet. The pastry cream was nice and cool, smooth, and had a nice vanilla flavor and the caramel was perfectly salty. This was honestly super amazing and we'd come back just to get this again. Overall, a week into opening and yes there are some kinks they're still working out, but the food is killer and service (at least at the bar) is exceptional. All in with tip, this meal set us back $175. Still quite expensive for a week night meal, but the quality is there IMO. P.S., if you love oysters on the half shell, you can't beat the prices here. 1 dozen for $30 is unheard of these days and this isn't a happy hour price. Most places are pushing $4+/oyster so to have an option that is $2.50/ea is pretty great. They did run out pretty quickly so go early if that's your jam. read more

My husband and I were super excited to try Bijou because we love Table Culture Provisions. For food, we ordered the following: Petite croque - it was like a mini croque monster, delicious and creamy with truffle Cheese fondant- loved how it was in a bread bowl to eat with the cheese and the croutons were so tasty and crunchy. Canette- duck was cooked perfectly, but missing a little bit of flavor Pork Milanese- very crispy and enjoyed the side of creamy corn soup. Nice touch! The food was delicious, but I have to subtract a star due to an incident. My husband ordered an alcoholic drink, Gimme the Smoke, and I ordered a non-alcoholic drink, Ruby Rosette. When we got our drinks, my husband commented on how his tasted like juice and it was yellow. I tried it and told him that it had no alcohol in it. We alerted our waitress and she apologized because it was the bartender's first night, and the bar manager brought out a new one, which was a different color and actually tasted like it had mezcal like it was supposed to. When I tried my drink, it had a strong Smoky taste, and I'm positive it was mezcal because I hate mezcal, and the hubby thought so too. We told our waitress again, and my concern was I was breastfeeding and have been alcohol free for almost a year. The bar manager brought out a new drink and confirmed both original drinks were non alcoholic and what I was tasting was shio koji. I tasted my drink again and it tasted different, which confirmed it yet again that mezcal was put in my original drink. I didn't want to cause a scene so i just let it go since they gave me a new drink and a sip of mezcal wasn't going to kill me. I thought they would comp our drinks because they messed it up, but they didn't. I was pretty upset because I got alcohol in my drink, and they insisted there wasn't. That's a very huge mistake in my opinion with no accountability. I know the difference between mezcal and shio koji being Asian. Unfortunately, our experience left a bad taste in my mouth, but the food was really good. I hope they will be able to improve their service in the future. read more

Then ending up having couple appetizers and desserts. Everything was tasty and I would definitely want to come back to try their main dishes. I was so disappointed in Bijou. From the unfriendly host, blah food and poor service. When a table of 4 girlfriends sits down, and order cocktails and a few appetizers, you should probably not wait another 45 minutes to return to get their dinner order and more drinks. We left after appetizers and went to another restaurant within walking distance where we were greeted with positive vibes and served an amazing meal. As a lover of TCP I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. Unfortunately the food here will be really hard to recommend to people unless Certain things are changed. Starting with the positives the service and servers were amazing! very kind very attentive and took great care of us! Another positive the bread rolls and trout dip were delicious! Was not that big into trout but the presentation and the taste were very good. only wish it came with more chips. The dessert was also really good. And the interior of the restaurant was very clean and inviting. While some dishes weren't to my liking they all exceeded in presentation. every dish looks like art. For the negatives the biggest offender was the French onion soup. I've had many in my lifetime and this is by far the worst. so much so that im chalking it up as a mistake because I just can't believe a French onion soup would be sent out like this. The best way to describe it was like drinking onion water. like you boiled onion in water for a minute then sent it out. the cheese on top was just as watery the entire dish lacked any flavor. It's the only time in my life I've ever thought about sending a dish back because I truly belive this was a mistake cause it was just that bad. The cowboy steak was also not very impressive. The meat was rather tough. And the cacio e pepe pasta was also disappointing tasting most of water than anything else. it felt like like someone made the dish and then dropped it in a bowl of water then served it. I feel like we just had a bad cook that day I would definitely give it another chance but going to wait a bit till they get more sorted out. while my experience may not have been great it probably won't be like that for everyone if you're interested make sure to go and try for yourself my experience may have just been a one off. read more

Back at bijou again! I learned to ask for a booth when reserving a table so much more intimate. The service brings my rating down. Marjorie or something that begins with an M was polite but rarely came by to see how things were going. The appetizers came out 10 minutes apart, honey battered cauliflower and trout dip. The trout dip was uneven this time. The trout was pushed to the side at the bottom of the dip which made trying to get it on your potato chip a treasure hunt. The cauliflower was a perfect blend of flavors. Would have been nice to have them come out at the same or in close proximity to one another. Now they have fine wine list but if you bring something special that will cost you $30! At that price you would expect them to keep wine in your glass. I had to ask her to pour the second time and I had to pour my guests and myself the last pour because I couldn't get her attention. It's insulting to the server in my opinion to pour your own wine but I'm old school and paid for the service. We had the beef Wellington which I have previously reviewed **** and the Oxtail . The oxtail was perfect, melt in your mouth delicious, my guests found it a little bland but they tend to like heavily spiced foods. A tip on the Wellington. We were anxious to try Bijou after dining at TCP. We ordered wine and appetizers including the trout and croquettes. Both were excellent. My husband had the duck which was perfectly prepared. I had the sea bass and it was delicious. The Parker House rolls were excellent. For dessert, we had the strawberry tart. Another winner. Service was very attentive. Table culture provisions is an amazing restaurant. The only downside was not being able to justify going more often than for the occasional celebration. Now Bijou offers the opportunity to get the same quality and equally delicious experience with a more flexible menu. Plus lovely cocktail options! A more airy, softer, and quieter vibe than the restaurant before it. Recommend getting reservations but was able to snag a spot at the bar on a busy Saturday night - thanks to the helpful and attentive staff. Can't wait to come back. read more

Fantastic experience on our first visit! Great wine list with many European options (kind of a rarity in Sonoma county) and an extensive spirits list. We started with the trout dip, seasoned so lightly it tasted like the ocean; the potato chips with it added just a hint of salt. For the entree we chose the Branzino, one of the three menu items prepared for two; it comes with sides of potatoes, vegetables, green salad and Parkerhouse rolls. The fish was lush with a nice crispy skin they prepare on a yakitori grill. The sides were equally delicious - really like the concept of this menu option. The service could not have been more efficient, professional and friendly. Despite all the hard surfaces in the space we found it easy to hold a conversation without having to shout. Delicious! So happy a great restaurant opened in the old Easy Rider spot. It was busy for a Sunday. We were able to get a table at 8:30pm. Right away we were greeted warmly and seated. The menu is small and everything we ordered was amazing. Service was attentive and friendly. We started with the duck, salad, and fondant. Entrees were the beef Wellington and risotto. Our favorite was the risotto. We shared it. I should've ordered my own. :) My boyfriend loved his duck sandwich. The salad was bright, perfectly dressed, and just enough of all components. The fondant was SO good. If you like crusty bread and gooey cheese, it's a must. Wellington was perfectly cooked and came with a side of whipped potatoes and salad. My husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding anniversary at Bijou, Petaluma's newest addition to the dining scene, and what a stunning experience it was. We were also toasting to the opening of this beautifully remodeled space, which strikes a perfect balance between elegant and casual, warm and refined. I usually like to give a new restaurant a few months to find its rhythm, but Bijou is already hitting every note with precision. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly welcoming host. The entire team, waitstaff, bus staff, bar crew, chefs, and cooks, was flawless in their service, timing, and kindness. We started with a glass of red wine and fresh oysters (SO fresh and beautifully presented), followed by the most decadent petite croque that melted in our mouths. Service was pleasant, but slow. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was egg, bacon, and cheddar. There's also a sauce that isn't listed on the menu, looked like spicy mayo but not sure what it was. My sandwich had ham, not bacon, and the ham they serve is listed as "black forest ham" but in reality is processed ham, closer to bologna. (CROQUE MONSIEUR fans, beware!) The sandwich included salad and potatoes, I got the salad, no potatoes, by the time the waitress came around again I was half done, and did not want to wait for the potatoes. She did take 1/2 the price off the sandwich, and comped us something else, I can't remember what. All in all, I have to say, for all the fanfare, nothing special here. We loved Bijou! It was a bit of a splurge as we had just moved from Novato to Petaluma and were celebrating. Everything we ate was incredible, but it was a few weeks ago and my memory dims a bit. I KNOW the beef Wellington was incredible and my husband and I split everything. I do have a distinct recollection of the Parker House rolls, a salad with burrata and a yummy dessert. But make your own choices and I don't think you will go wrong here! Our waitress was a delight - very experienced, too, but I don't remember her name. Oh and no tablecloths do not too fancy. Unfortunately very disappointed in a lot of aspects of this restaurant and usually don't write reviews of a brand new spot or a first timer but this was necessary. Food: -Sapphire Dream (a signature cocktail) was good 3/5, pretty pink color+ coconut forward. -Trout Dip with Homemade Chips 4/5, personally too much guacamole in comparison to trout, but had flavor and chips were subtle touch. -Caio De Pepe 3/5, noodles too thick and serving size was on smaller size, only filled half the plate. -Steak & Frites + side salad 3.5/5, nothing to write home about, steak was cooked to perfection (5 slices) and fries were thick cut with a distinct flavor. Not worth the price. -Wine selection 3/5, all over the place and not many French wines. **to feel full, you are looking at a 3-course meal- appetizer and/or dessert, plus dinner +drink*** Issues: -Not Accommodating- Amongst arriving, placed at the table for 2- the chairs sit back and due to back issues noticed a bench seating open that would be more comfortable, when asked to switch, I got attitude about moving and that it was a very busy night and need to make sure it would still flow. I've worked in restaurants and it's not hard to just swap a table (even with diff servers). This took 5 min no water. And as I watched the night unravel in the next hour, the restaurant was clearing out and no issue with having no seats. -Sleek decor but No AC?- it was very very uncomfortable and hot inside. I was actually using a menu to fan myself off. They have open concept kitchen and no fans in dining area. Plus it was hot outside. I am pretty sure when it was easy rider, there was more of a cool feeling when inside, so there is a AC unit?? -Poor Time Management -got to the new table and another 5 min before water, took our cocktail + app order. Our app got to the table before our cocktails. Server then didn't check in on us until dinner was almost gone. -Unknowledgeable Server (not going to name names)- when ordering a dirty martini and server asked with what type of vodka- Grey Goose was requested and server didn't mention that the specific vodka ordered wasn't on the menu and ended up getting a regular martini w/Kettle one (not dirty+ not grey goose as they didn't have on the shelf which isn't the issue any vodka is good, more that the server wasn't comprehending correctly ) ended up sending that back with someone else, who took care of it and he then heard, and in fact charged for another (again, being in the restaurant that's your mistake and just get it remade not charge to get it remade) so check the bill before you check out!! Because I didn't find out until afterwards then had to get credit reran. The hostess who helped, did in fact with all issues, take off both which was very kind and accommodating. -Others Patrons- as we sat down, they also commented on how mediocre the food was from flavor to portion size (but the pork chop was an ENTIRE plate size!!!!!) they made a comment about not having a lot of things, including NO ICED TEA???!!! I ended up checking this place out because there was an article about there being affordable eggs Benedict's here. And while that may be true, it is because the portions here are really small. The meal comes with a very small green salad on the side, but could really use something else. If you eat minimally, I suppose it would be fine for you, but I personally felt that you need to order sides on top of it. This averages out to be around the same price as eggs Benedict's at other restaurants if I'm being honest. Their specialty cocktails are also $15, so don't think you're saving money by going here. However, it was tasty and the waiters were nice. A downside though was that my friend ordered ice tea and didn't get it until halfway through her meal, but it was comped, which was nice of them. Not sure I'd drive down from Santa Rosa just to go here, but not bad. read more

First time in since the change from Easy Rider...which was a favorite. Hostess was off-putting, had a bit of an attitude for being the greeter... Was told we had to sit at the bar because we walked in with no reservations...no issue since we were there for snacks and cocktails, however as we sat at the bar, three other parties walked in with no reservations and were seated at a table...hmmmm Bartender, Sebastian, was engaging, friendly and made an excellent cocktail. Appetizers were fresh,, flavorful & very enjoyable. The interior is clean and comfortable, calming colors, but is very loud.
