Man, this is definitely delicious !

Forgive me, late post. We had dinner here back on Father's Day, Sunday and believe me, I was very Satisfied. We all started with sangria, so REFRESHING which was prepared by Debbie and her service was awesome! I ordered the grilled octopus that was sooo good and ordered the shareable Spanish paella and Hamburger. And to top it off, churros baby ! We left very happy and full. We like the ambiance, especially the floor and the swing for pix. Definitely a BE BACK AGAIN restaurant !

Paella de mariscos octopus added

The place is very nice, beautifully organized and well put together. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, and he knew every single dish in detail, which I really appreciated. The waitress wasn't quite as warm as the waiter, but she was okay. About the food: Calamari: Very disappointing. It was oily, the breading wasn't very good, and honestly, it tasted more like a cheap supermarket version than something I would expect from this restaurant. Paella de Mariscos with added octopus: For the price, I was expecting much more flavor. It is beautifully presented. Unfortunately, it was very bland and excessively oily. When you eat everything together, the combination tastes good, but if you eat just one piece of seafood by itself, it barely has any flavor. The rice itself was flavorful, but again, way too oily. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful and the service was good, but unfortunately, the food didn't live up to my expectations, especially considering the prices.

We had a great dinner here. Also, the owner is very approachable to all customers. Highly recommended this place.

Highly recommended this restaurant. The food is really good. The owner is very accommodating to all customers.

Omg this restaurant, the owner Deb and the food is incredible!!! Such a GEM! My husband and I are visiting Petaluma for the first time and are big fans of Spain. This is legit Spanish cuisine! Couldn't believe how good it was and the owner Deb was the sweetest! They have flamenco nights every 2 months that we plan on coming back for!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVED!!!

This weekend we made our way over to Petaluma and found the cutest little spot right on the water--Taps on the River. We grabbed a table outside, and goodness, it was just so peaceful. A nice breeze, pretty views, and some of the friendliest service you could ask for. We started with the Shishito Peppers and the Peach Salad, and they were both absolutely wonderful. I had the Korean Short Ribs, and my hubby ordered the Squash Burger. Bless their hearts..... they sure know how to cook! Every bite was delicious. I also treated myself to a Dunkel beer, which is mighty hard to find, and I just loved it! We'll most definitely be making our way back to Taps on the River. If you find yourself over in Petaluma, I'd sure recommend stopping by. It's one of those places that just makes you want to sit a spell, enjoy the view, and savor a good meal.

I started with the Westmalle (Belgian) Tripel beer. It was the best part of my meal. I ordered the Sasquash burger which is a burger with bacon and a squash ring. Our server recommended it. It was okay (3 stars). I'm not sure that a thick piece of squash on a burger really works. One of my dining partners ordered the fish and chips (3 stars). She said it was okay. Her favorite fish and chips is at Finnegan's in Novato. My daughter ordered the caesar wrap. I tried it. It was the best meal on the table (4.5 stars). Our server was very good (5 stars). I wish this place was better. I might come back again. I like the selection of beers. I would be willing to give it another try.

Jason is a hoot - he's super friendly and of course knowledgeable about wines, no matter the occasion. I've not had a single bad wine from his shop, and he's actually turned us on to many lesser known varietals/regions that often are exceptional values. His wine club is a great value at $38/month for your choice of two wines ($19/bottle) between two red and two white wine offers, for which he emails very detailed notes, along with Petaluma's best dry humor, once per month. On top of that, you can buy as many bottles as you want at the club price if you want more, you get 15% off any other bottle in the shop, and you get discounted by-the-glass wines if you ever feel like popping in for a drink. Now that we've amassed a large collection of wine, we've had to cancel all of our wine clubs, but not this one - it's too good of a value. What I love about the shop is that you can find some cult classics and high end wines (I think I saw a '16 Mouton Rothschild sitting on a rack), but also wines from small producers, many local. Speak to Jason and tell him what you're looking for and he'll find you something exceptional in your price range, whether it's for every day drinking, a special occasion, or a gift.

In my role leading client engagement for a national company, I have the privilege of meeting some…read moreof the most interesting, talented, and creative people. Every so often, a chance encounter turns into something truly special. That is exactly how my relationship with Stockhome began. While exploring the Bay Area in preparation for the opening of our new San Francisco showroom, I happened to meet Andrea at a bar. We struck up a conversation, and she mentioned that her husband was a chef. She began showing me photographs of his culinary creations, and I was immediately captivated. These weren't simply beautifully presented dishes; they were genuine works of art. The creativity, attention to detail, and craftsmanship were extraordinary. Fast-forward four months, and our showroom was preparing to open. I remembered that conversation and asked our Marketing team to arrange a private tasting at Stockhome in Petaluma. From the moment we arrived, I knew we had discovered something special. The experience was absolutely phenomenal. Every savory and sweet bite was thoughtfully composed, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The wine pairings were equally impressive, complementing each course perfectly. The entire experience demonstrated an exceptional understanding of food, hospitality, and the art of entertaining. I was so impressed that I hired them on the spot! For our grand opening, the Stockhome team delivered an unforgettable culinary experience. Their potato cake and caviar station was a standout, while the elevated charcuterie and crudités were as visually stunning as they were delicious. Every detail felt intentional, sophisticated, and effortlessly elegant. Our guests were thoroughly impressed, and the food became one of the highlights of the evening. But what truly sets Stockhome apart is the people behind the experience. Working with Roberth, Ashton, and the entire team has been an absolute pleasure. They are talented, gracious, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful human beings. Their warmth and authenticity are every bit as remarkable as their culinary abilities. They don't simply provide exceptional food; they care deeply about the experience they create and the people they serve. Since that first event, Stockhome has become one of my trusted partners for corporate gatherings and elevated client experiences. When you're responsible for creating memorable moments for others, finding a team that consistently delivers this level of creativity, quality, and genuine hospitality is invaluable. What began as a chance conversation has turned into a wonderful professional relationship and a genuine appreciation for the people behind Stockhome. If you have the opportunity to experience Stockhome, take it. Whether you're dining at their restaurant in Petaluma or considering them for a special event, you're in for something extraordinary. Five stars simply aren't enough. Thank you, Andrea, Roberth, Ashton, and the entire Stockhome team. You are truly exceptional!

Seemed to have a chill vibe with indoor and outdoor seating...plus they were open. The food was incredible. We started with wings, then went on to the foghorn pizza (think that's the name of it). Our waiter, Arthur then asked if we wanted dessert. We were stuffed but everything was amazing up to that point, so we opted for carrot cake. It was the right decision. Looking for a reason to get back to Petaluma so I can visit again. Next time I'll try to take photos before eating...it was so good I had to stop mid-bite so I could share on yelp.

Definitely on point for the Wild Goat bistro so thoroughly enjoyed that. The seats were super comfy because there was leather bench seating that had a nice cushion. The service was ok, but I feel like it would've been nicer to have my kid's pizza come out first before our appetizers since toddlers tend to get restless quickly and the coloring pages only distract them for a short while. Usually servers prioritize kids meals, but the waitress missed the mark. Drinks were so yummy: definitely try the ginger lemonade or the pineapple mint tonic! So good!! Unfortunately I can't rave too much about the food. We weren't too hungry so we thought we would just try a bunch of appetizers. * We ordered the Hot n Bubbly (artichoke dip) which we were half expecting to be made with some sort of white cheese, it tasted like they used cheddar cheese and it was not pleasant, because it came off as more of a nacho cheese flavor. * Then we tried T's wings (lemon pepper chicken wings) and were sadly disappointed again. There was no lemon flavor whatsoever and the ranch was on the watery side. My sister said it was spicy, but I didn't even taste the spice or any flavor from it so I'm not sure. * The third strike was when we got the salad. I didn't even take a picture because it tasted so basic. We asked for them to sub the blue cheese dressing with a fig vinaigrette, but there was no flavor whatsoever. I probably won't come back because I wasn't a huge fan. The prices were not worth it, in my opinion.
