I had the braised artichokes, focaccia bread and roasted chicken with fingerling potatoes and Morrell sauce. I finished it off with a blood orange sorbet. My entire meal was delicious from beginning to end. I'll get pictures of the food next time. I was too busy digging in to get a picture. I recommend coming here! I just hope they bring back that mezzanine board. It looks amazing, Service was friendly. They didn't let me down at all.

Ambience, food, service. We went on a night they were having a cool, art extravaganza, DJ, Drinks flowing(love their stemware) art production, Tasha the GM mingled with guest making sure all were having a good time. Indeed. We arrived prior to event. We started with Pinot Noir wine, then a golden goddess salad that was spectacular, they use escarole lettuce and roasted, small put mighty roasted peas, fascinating, the dressing was the right vinegar, olive oil ratio & herbs(tarragon, an underrated herb). The burger arrived with another side of delicious salad. I love my greens. Then the pièce de résistance, their FRENCH FRIES, yes worthy of all caps. Cut perfectly, crispy outside, smooth, mash potato consistency inside, Michelin Star worthy, hell Yeah! Oh forgot comes with aioli(not overpowering garlic & ketchup too). And yes another glass of Pinot was in order. We decided on a chocolate dessert with an intriguing sesame toffee on top. This wasn't my favorite, I believe they can do better, perhaps a lava cake, or chocolate torte (not so inventive, but a sure thing) and the toffee was more chewy than crispy. Luma has the most beautiful bar, good food & drinks and lots of special events. Get on their mailing list because I know they have more planned.

This place was actually better than I imagined it to be. The was good but what really amazed me was the hospitality from the staff. Made me and the other guests feel like we were eating at a five star restaurant.

This spot is such a nice location for friends, girls' lunches, or even a casual date night. The ambiance feels modern and relaxed, with a great view right along the river that is perfect for a laid-back meal with good company. I came here for lunch with my family and we had a party of six. We started with the mini mezza appetizer, then ordered a mix of entrees: steak and frites, the soup of the day (corn chowder), cheeseburger, Greek flatbread, black cod, and gnocchi. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their meals, but my favorite by far was the steak and frites. I ordered it rare and it came out perfectly -- soft, juicy, and paired with a chimichurri sauce that was absolute perfection. There weren't any complaints from our group, and to top it off, since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant surprised us with a rich chocolate fudge brownie on the house. Such a sweet touch and a great way to end the meal! Overall, this place checks all the boxes, great food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. As a local South Bay girly, I think it is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a spot to enjoy good food and vibes by the river (I still think about the steak every now and then)!

Went back and loved it again. Great service, great ambiance, super nice people. The appetizer of Calamari and veggies was superb. I really liked my Fatoush Salad, lot of healthy things and very delicious. Highly recommended!

I went to Luma for the first time with my friends a couple days ago. Beautiful simplistic interior with an extensive bar. The service was great with very kind servers and hostess. My food was ok I got a caesar salad and the dressing had very little flavor but if you like light dressings it's for you! I also got the dreamsicle drink which was delicious. It's on the pricier side as well, I would maybe come back just for the drinks!

It was such a fun time coming here. Dinner was great. We even caught a Happy Hour on a Saturday which was a good deal! Service was great. Interior design was relaxing and modern. I definitely want to come back again!

    Seared tuna salad

Great seared tuna salad! The tuna was so fresh it didn't need any added seasoning. Definitely add avocado, worth it. Service was excellent. Located right near the river but no river views. The dollar general right next door kills the upscale vibe as well. The bar was beautiful, but the rest of the wall decor did not match the vibe they're going for. Lamb meatballs- Do not recommend. The lamb had a nice spice to it, and the sauce had a faint sweetness. Mushroom gnocchi- Very rich. Mushrooms were delicious. Gnocchi was fluffy but a touch undercooked, could see uncooked flour in the middle. Lavender lemonade mocktail- No good. Couldn't taste the lavender, and the lemonade was definitely the bottled lemon juice. Greek flatbread- Crispy bottom crust, fluffy top crust.

One of our regular go-to restaurants. Always excellent food and service. Inventive cocktails. Delicious apps and main courses: love that they do late night dance parties and live music too.

Such a cute and beautiful restaurant right next to the river. My friend and I went after work on a Wednesday there was plenty of seats. We ordered the risotto balls, margarita, pizza, and fries and a French 75. I ended up asking to be moved from inside to outside and they were very accommodating. Staff was super friendly checked on me continuously and I love their outside patio area right next to the bridge across from Brewsters and you can see the boats on the river, great place to people watch, take your friends, family, do some work. and have a solo date. I'll definitely be back.

    Boulevardier
    Steven H.

First time visit, the service was exceptionally good and friendly. The cocktails were the best of the evening and my Boulevardier was delicious. The casual but a little formal feel of the place was lovely. The food was super, we had a whole lot of appetizers and small plates to share and all were exceptional. Barrera, lamb meatballs, fried polenta, green beans salad, etc etc. Highly recommend a visit.

Tuesday Date Night with my wife: side-dish sage, green goddess whisperer, lamb convert (for now) My wife -- the planner, the palate, the woman with impeccable taste in both salad dressing and husbands -- made us reservations for a quiet Tuesday evening, and let me tell you, this place had me at "harissa marinara." Don't let the shopping center zip code fool you. We rolled in expecting casual. We got modern warmth, glowing bar lights, and bottles lined up like they're auditioning for a Netflix cocktail drama. The vibe was laid-back but elevated -- like your cool cousin who wears linen unironically. We started with wine because we're grown-ups who pretend to understand tannins. My wife: a crisp '22 Gundlach Bundschu Sauvignon Blanc -- bright, citrusy, and so good she ordered a second. Me: a smooth, fruit-forward '23 Land of Saints Pinot Noir that hit me with the kind of finesse I usually reserve for describing smoked brisket. Yes, we both doubled up. No regrets. Don't judge. Then came the Lamb Meatballs. Y'all. Four perfect spheres of savory, spicy lamb, lovingly drenched in harissa marinara and flanked by garlic pita that was so soft it should've come with a warning label. Spicy. Smoky. Heavenly. I love lamb. My wife? Historically lamb-averse. But even she took a bite, paused mid-chew, and said, "Wait, this is lamb?" Reader, she KEPT eating. Miracles happen at Luma. We followed with the Green Goddess Salad, which was her idea (naturally). Baby greens, crispy chickpeas, pickled shallots, and green beans so fresh they probably had voting rights. Dressing came on the side, per my wife's eternal crusade against overdressed leaves. She declared it "refreshing." I declared it "not BBQ but shockingly enjoyable." For our main, we split the Margherita Flatbread -- San Marzano tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella arranged like edible artwork. Crispy crust, gooey cheese, and that sweet-tart tomato punch that made me briefly close my eyes like I was in a Mediterranean film montage. No extra toppings. No meat. And yet... it was perfect. (Yes, I'm a BBQ guy praising a vegetarian pizza. Put it in the record books.) We skipped dessert, but not by choice -- just too dang full. The only thing sweeter than the service was the realization that my wife was right. Again. Would I come back? In a heartbeat--and next time I'll bring friends so I can pretend I'm sharing while secretly planning to steal their meatballs. So if you're driving past that little strip center by the Petaluma River and think, "Looks plain"--don't you dare keep driving. Pull over. Walk in. Order the lamb meatballs. TL;DR: Luma is the kind of place where a BBQ-loving, lamb-craving Texan finds joy in chickpeas and flatbread -- and where his wife subtly steals the spotlight one composed bite at a time. Don't sleep on it. Order the meatballs. Sip something good. And thank whoever made your reservation.

Petaluma near the water view. Service is quick. They have a cute bar and good cocktails. Food is shareable and generous portions for the entrees. Our total came to $254 for 4 person. 3 cocktails included.

We visited the distillery next to Hotel Petaluma around 8 pm with a group of six (family, including my dad and uncle). Most of the patrons inside were white, and our waitress was an older white woman. From the moment we walked in, there was visible irritation about our party size. When my uncle picked up a chair so we could sit together, we were met with looks and attitude instead of any help. The overall vibe was cold and dismissive, and it made us feel unwelcome and judged. As a Mexican family in a room where nearly everyone else was white, the way we were treated felt targeted and uncomfortable. Whether intentional or not, the service came across as biased and unwelcoming. It's just really unfortunate, because this is a place we've supported for years. We left feeling embarrassed and upset, and that's not the experience you expect from a place in hospitality.

After seeing the menu, my number one choice was the beef Wellington, second choice would have been the Bijou Burger. My SO wanted the Oxtail, but was thinking of an appetizer that would be just right. so the Trout Dip was chosen. This was a half processed fish and half avacado packed into a bowl. Scooping both halves was the best of both worlds. The dip was smooth and great flavors, I would get this again. Then when the entrees came out, and we started eating, half way throught both items were quite heavy and we started to feeling full. The beef Wellington was cooked to a medium consistency, the crust as still firm and mushroom filing great. The oxtail was so tender, it falls off the bone. A different flavoring but fantastic. We ended up taking the oxtail home as it would be diffcult to reheat beef Wellington. No room for dessert. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like guests into someone's home. The atmosphere is calm, inviting, and thoughtfully arranged, with well-spaced tables and a comfortable bar area that makes it an ideal spot for happy hour cocktail--something I especially appreciated since they honor happy hour at the tables as well. Bijou is led by Co-Chefs and Co-Owners Stéphane Saint Louis and Steven Vargas, who have created a truly memorable, approachable French-inspired dining experience. Chef Vargas was present during our visit and took the time to speak with us, which always elevates an evening. He and the entire Bijou team are personable, genuine, and down to earth--you can feel the care they bring to both the food and the hospitality. The menu and décor are understated, but don't mistake that for simplicity. Every dish we had was thoughtfully composed, beautifully plated, and perfectly executed. Flavors were balanced, seasonal, and never overworked--nothing was over-sauced or overthought. Each plate stood confidently on its own, and everything arrived at the proper temperature, which speaks to the kitchen's attention to detail. Our female server was knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations that enhanced the experience. A special shoutout to Dan who clearly takes pride in ensuring guests enjoy their time. His knowledge of spirits and willingness to share his favorites added an extra personal touch. I've seen some comments about pricing, but I found it to be very reasonable given the quality of the food, Crafted Cocktails, service, and overall experience--especially for this level of execution in the Bay Area. I'll let the photos speak for themselves, but Bijou left a lasting impression. It's a place that proves you don't need an elaborate menu or flashy décor to deliver something truly special--just passion, balance, and genuine hospitality. Give the Bijou a visit, be present and enjoy what Chef Vargas and his team have to offer. Bravo Chef Vargas and Bijou Family well done and see you soon. Special note if you are a Chartreuse fan you definitely want to visit Bijou as they have a respectable selection which is rare to find.

Salad was good, nice mix of greens. A little wet for my taste if I'm choosing but I'm also not complaining, it was yummy. The potatoes were a perfect dish to come with the salad since otherwise it didn't have a crunch element. This is the first time I've gotten the collar and it was as meaty as it is. I've ordered at other restaurants before and it was not as successful of a dish as here. Loved the sauce and flavors on it. It was kinda sticky due to the sauce but I mean that in a good way, to add to the flavor and overall balance of texture and flavor The snapper lettuce wraps were also yummy! Kind of laborious to get the fish to eat ready but worth the effort, same with the collar too, but also worth the "work" to get the meat off the bones. The snapper has a lot of pin bones but otherwise really yummy bite. The rock wall in the alley creates a whole vibe with the lights and such. It is also one of the oldest walls in Petaluma, which is pretty cool. Slim menu but excellent. The restaurant is tiny, like 6 tables. Being on the patio was nice, more room. Our meal split 4 ways was delicious and filling but also light and sat well in our bellies. I'd absolutely come back again.

Last time this happened the langanitas brand ambassador gave me a free beer (shoutout) . After this I started to cry because after this encounter as I felt so belittled he continuously ignored me. Then he said something like " oh now you're crying" and was laughing at me/ mocking me . He's so two faced cuz after he was being so sweet to the guys next to us . I had told the other bartender about the situation ,as she had taken care of me for most of the night, and she shrugged and said "well he's the manager " . So if the customers can't speak up I can't imagine how the situation is with the employees.... Anyways super rude super belittling it's a shame . Never coming back . My dude was there to witness so were people that I had met last night fck yalllllllll weirrdos pr3rvs
