Visited Petaluma for a weekend get away. Saw Table Culture Provisions and thought I'd try it. Absolutely loved our experience here. The ambiance is very dim and quaint. The service was impeccable! Both of the servers were great. One of them actually fell but she got back up and kept serving which was wildddd (highkey I would've just called it after that but she kept going and continued to be truly amazing and was also incredibly knowledgeable). The food was a set course and you could pick between 4 or 7 dishes. We opted for the 7 course and a bottle of wine. We especially loved the squash dishes, Carmel shaped pasta and bread, and the duck and potatoes. The chef definitely loves their foam I think 3 dishes had foam but my fave was the one that had a white foam, cucumber, and other textural bits. There was one dish I didn't like as much where the foam was served with a cold soup drink but other than that I loved all the other dishes. The dessert was a more modern take on an apple pie which was great for fall vibes. I was definitely super full after this meal which was so delicious and delightful. It was definitely pricey but would highly recommend splurging on Table Culture Provisions! When we come back to Petaluma we'll definitely stop by again.

A tasting menu that is WORTH IT. Wow. We did the 7 course pre-fixe dinner and we were all incredibly pleased with this dining experience. Nondescript building. Street parking. Chic small restaurant with I think less than 20 seats? Good service. Excellent meal and visually stunning presentation. We were so full! I had to undo the top button of my jeans by course 4! Each course was different from the other, but meal flowed seamlessly throughout. Paid about $200 pp including tax and tip. This was a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend. TCP is top notch.

We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were the first to get in and the place was small, cozy and intimate. We were greeted by our server along with the wine director. The tasting menu were explained as well as which kind of wine goes well with our food. We got the 7 course meal and everything were well prepared. Our favorites were the fish, the first course with caviar, the tagliatelle pasta with its very tasty broth, the desserts! The pistachio desert was to die for! Overall! It was a great experience! Definitely need to come back and hopefully they get a Michelin star!

Table Culture Provisions delivered one of the best meals and dining experiences I've ever had. We celebrated an anniversary here, and everything was truly perfect. The service was warm and attentive, the food was exceptional from start to finish, and the wine pairings elevated every bite. It's definitely a splurge, but absolutely worth it and if it weren't, we'd be here all the time. A phenomenal restaurant for a special occasion or a memorable night out.

Hands down the best chef's menu I've tried lately. It recently got a Michelin guide so I wanted to give a try. I think it should deserve a star!! The French food and the French wine paring is well done. Brian did a good job introducing French and Germany wine to give food even better taste. The food itself is 5 star. Each dish is so pretty to look at and even better to eat. I was told the menu change often. It would be fun to come back to try new menu and bonus dessert.

Can't say enough good things. Perfect low key ambience. Food top class. Next level. The staff was courteous and had excellent wine teccos.

A well-executed meal from a star chef, and the closest thing to a Michelin star in Petaluma - but the price is quite high, likely because of expensive ingredients. I enjoyed the meal but wasn't blown away. Service, though, was excellent, and the space itself is beautiful.

been here 2 times and both times have been phenomenal. the service is amazing i feel like I'm at a Michelin restaurant here. both times eating here I've had the outdoor seating and it's very nice. they keep it very clean and it was nice to enjoy the outdoors while eating. The chefs here are providing some of the freshest ingredients and make every dish with care. everything we ordered was delicious. we just ordered individual items this time but next time I want to try their course meal!

This was one of the spots my husband and I tried for restaurant week in Sonoma. I was pleased with his choice. Our 3 course menu was a fresh salad with asparagus and light sauce. I ate every fresh bite. The tiny croutons were my favorite. They are hands down the best I've ever had. Our main course was a juicy piece of braised short ribs with peppercorn. Tender fall off the bone. Perfectly seasoned. It was epic. The fries were so yummy! Perfectly crisp just how I like em. So the bread and butter sheesh! I'm obsessed. And for desert we tried both their chocolate ganache opera cake and lemon cream with white chocolate pavlova. This really was the best composed meal in an elegant setting for our restaurant week experience. The service was truly excellent and made our time spent there very intimate and special. We will be coming back again to try the 4 and 7 course dinners. Love it here.

Loved this place. We had an amazing dinner here. The vibe is relaxed but polished, with a lot of attention to detail in both the food and the service. Everything we ordered was thoughtful and delicious. The house roll with butter was next-level. I'm still thinking about it. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the desserts are amazing. Big thanks to the team for the warm accommodation -- we sat outside on their cozy, beautiful patio with our dog, and it was such a great experience. We also tried the wine pairing, and it was spot-on -- well-curated and complemented each course beautifully. Highly recommend going with the pairing if you want the full experience.

A Culinary Experience Worthy of Michelin We had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a 7-course tasting menu that was nothing short of extraordinary--each course a thoughtful, creative, and delicious celebration of seasonal ingredients. This is a kitchen that's clearly knocking on Michelin's door, and I wouldn't be surprised if they answer soon. From the first bite to the final sip, everything was executed with precision and heart. The pacing was perfect, the portions satisfying, and the flavor combinations both refined and surprising. Special thanks to Jessie and Miles, who provided warm, attentive service with just the right touch of personality. And Brian--what a gem. His wine pairings elevated the entire experience and showed a deep understanding of both palate and place. As for that one review complaining they left hungry--respectfully, they may need more than a burger. Perhaps a wellness check. If you're looking for a meal that blends fine dining artistry with genuine hospitality, don't hesitate. This is destination-worthy dining.

We had dinner at TCP this past Saturday. The 6th course, the fish, was sublime. It was as if I was tasting it with every cell of my body. It was elevated sustenance! The absolute best restaurant I've been to in Northern California. I almost didn't leave a review out of selfishness! Excellent service, superb wine pairings and outstanding food.

Chef Stephane is not only a brilliant and creative chef, but also genuinely kind and cares about the broader community. TCP has become one of my top restaurants in the bay area. The menu changes seasonally, which you would never know because all of the items were the perfect balance of both flavors and textures. My favorites were: - crudo tartlette - beef tartare with sunchoke cappuccino - cocolemon (SO unique felt like I was going on a treasure hunt) I can't wait to come back in the spring and will be recommending TCP to all of my friends and family- it's a small place so make sure to make a reservation in advance!

Ask the Community - Table Culture Provisions

Does the restaurant allow you to bring your own wine for a corkage fee?

YES!

What is the average cost of a meal with wine?

Dinner for two. 7 course tasting. Plus the wine pairing (we split this one--it's great that they allow split pairings) and an upgrade to caviar on one of the dishes came out to $490 after service fees and tax

We were going to order only 1 churro but the server offered that the churros are gluten free so we ordered two orders! The menu doesn't say this, so FYI. They were one of the best potato preparations I've ever had. Shockingly fluffy and light inside literally like a potato cloud. Maybe the cheese helps with this? I don't know but get them. Salad was good, nice mix of greens. A little wet for my taste if I'm choosing but I'm also not complaining, it was yummy. The potatoes were a perfect dish to come with the salad since otherwise it didn't have a crunch element. This is the first time I've gotten the collar and it was as meaty as it is. I've ordered at other restaurants before and it was not as successful of a dish as here. Loved the sauce and flavors on it. It was kinda sticky due to the sauce but I mean that in a good way, to add to the flavor and overall balance of texture and flavor The snapper lettuce wraps were also yummy! Kind of laborious to get the fish to eat ready but worth the effort, same with the collar too, but also worth the "work" to get the meat off the bones. The snapper has a lot of pin bones but otherwise really yummy bite. The rock wall in the alley creates a whole vibe with the lights and such. It is also one of the oldest walls in Petaluma, which is pretty cool. Slim menu but excellent. The restaurant is tiny, like 6 tables. Being on the patio was nice, more room. Our meal split 4 ways was delicious and filling but also light and sat well in our bellies. I'd absolutely come back again.

From the starters (we arrived before 6 pm, in time for their happy hour menu) to dessert, there's little room for anything but the highest praise. Their Thick Cut Onion Rings were some of the most divine I've ever tasted. Part of me wanted to order another round as my main! Crisp and flavorful, salty, but balanced. The wood fired carrots that came at the same time were also tasty, but had a hard time competing with their fried companion dish. For our mains, I've gotten the Sweet Gems Salad more times than I care to admit - and love it every time. My friend enjoyed the Funghi pizza with foraged mushrooms. For my son's fried chicken, we should probably have asked for more gravy. It seemed a little dry, but still tasty. Then, since we almost never skip dessert, the strawberry pies were flavorful without being at all oversweetened. And their bittersweet chocolate torte is rich and always served warm. Our server, Christine, wasn't wrong to tease us about hoping we'd be back next week. She was thoughtful and attentive, without hovering, throughout the meal. In fact, the whole team did an excellent job of guiding us through our dinner, start to finish, from the greeting at the door as soon as we stepped in, to the speedy kitchen and expediter that got everything to the table at the perfect temperature. Central Market is probably my favorite culinary balance between comfort food, quality ingredients, approachable dining, with enough options and inventiveness to avoid anything from feeling pedantic or tired. The space is beautiful and open, without being too noisy to hold a conversation. I'm not sure we'll be back next week, but soon!

The music-themed decor on the walls added a bit of character to the space. We sat ourselves at a table, grabbed a menu we saw sitting near the bar at the center of the venue, and found an employee walking around to place our food order. He was friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready which was kinda long, but after trying our dishes, it was totally worth the wait. The potato skins were like mini loaded baked potatoes, but fluffier and easier to eat. It was super cheesy and tastier than I expected, especially with the ranch and sour cream that came on the side. The classic pot pie was a large dish and quite filling, with plenty of sizable chunks of chicken and veggies mixed together nicely in a thick and flavorful roux. Not to mention the flaky buttery crust on top. Wow, I really liked this. And my bf finished every last bite of his grilled salmon dish, no complaints. The lemon drop cocktail was yummy, just the right sweetness and a good amount of alcohol without ruining the flavor.
