This one was delicious and refreshing too!

This was my first time at this quaint little winery and it's was so cute, homey feeling and I loved their decor! The lady serving me was incredibly knowledgeable regarding how this wine maker got started and knew his career of racing cars! Since it was daytime, she made up my own white wine flight and it was perfect! I have pictures below of the two favorite wines I had and I ended up buying a bottle of one! I will definitely be back and most likely on a Friday night, so I can grab a pizza across the street to pair with a robust red they have and listen to their live music! Hee. Plus if you check in to Yelp, there's a great Tasting Deal!!!!

This place had really good reviews in Yelp! So decided to try out since they had availabilities same day. They have an outdoor patio that most guests were dining on. We chose the "Race Series" tasting with all reds bc thats what i like. They give ample sampling.. i appreciated the uniqueness of the wines tho they didnt perfectly match what i usually like drinking until the last one! I like wines that are smooth with not too much tannins and this one was buttery. It is a mix of 4 diff wines "perfectly blended like carbon" which it was! Our server was so nice and also gave us restaurant recommendations as it was out first trip to Petaluma. Enjoyed our tasting and love Petaluma!!

Nice outdoor patio for wine tasting. Warm weather on a summery Sunday to drop by for wine tasting and to peruse through this neighborhood of Petaluma. Opted for reserve and insider wine club tasting. Noted on what I liked : 2019 Pinot noir, Cabernet Franc (my most favorite) Bavarian & 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Sage Canyon was very velvety. Did the Yelp check in on 2 for 1 tasting. Fabulous deal and I'm glad we decided on this spot for a drink before heading out on errands for the rest of the day.

A racers dream! We selected the Racing Series and marveled over the labels on the bottles. Amazing packaging 24 hrs LeMans, Shift, Redline and Apex and Carbon. Madeline was our host and was knowledgeable about the wines. We can't wait to see the new Winery building and see the museum. We will be back!

What an amazing find out in Petaluma. I have never heard about Adobe Road Wines. We were in the area and wanted to do a wine tasting before heading back home. We called ahead to see if they had an opening and yes, they sure did! We sat outside and were immediately greeted. There are 3 different tasting menus. We went with the reserve for $35. Check in on Yelp and get a BOGO coupon. 2018 Chardonnay, Bacigalupi Vineyards 2018 Pinot Noir, Roberts Road 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, Bavarian Lion Vineyards 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, Blue Dog Although these were all Sonoma County wines, every wine we tasted had the big, bold, Napa Valley feel. We were delightfully surprised as everything was up our alley. We also tried The 24. This was one of their special wines with a bottle dedicated to a 24 hour racing event. Btw, the owner is a former race car driver! It was a blend of goodness and we ended up purchasing a bottle. We also tried the viognier. It was extremely unique...big and bold once again and also had to take a bottle of this home also. What a cute spot. Highly recommend for those of you who want to explore Sonoma wines with Napa feels. 5 solid stars.

We had a wine tasting at Adobe Road and we were very impressed with their blends. We were amazed at how much our host Alicia knew about wines and the racing side of the business as she explained all the beautiful artwork on the bottles..one of the best experiences I've had at a wine tasting and so informative thanks to Alicia

I learned about this winery because of the Priority Wine Pass, you get 2-for-1 tastings here with the pass! They had a few options to choose from for tastings, we did the Classic Tasting which is $30/person. I had no idea that the owner used to be a professional race car driver! I love how he incorporated that passion into his winery. They have some wine bottles that have a 3D speedometer on the front, a gear shift, and even a tasting called the Racing Series. We sat outside on a patio next to the parking lot; we were only given the option to sit there or inside the tasting room. I was bummed because I saw some other Yelp photos of people having their wine outside by the river which would have been a nice experience. Our sommelier was knowledgeable about the wines but not the most personable host. She brought out some breadsticks to have with our wine which was nice. We enjoyed our wines and had a good experience, but not enough to lead us to purchase any bottles. I think our time here would have been better if we could have had a river view and more of a friendly host, but overall we still had a nice time!

I had a nice wine tasting here. I did the classic tasting which came with the Sauvignon blanc, Pinot noir, Zinfandel, and the Red Line. All the wines were good and the person guiding us through the tastings was friendly. I got a bottle of the red line wine because the compass on the front of the bottle seemed cool.

The seating deck and the overall location are nice, but the wines did not impress. Pleasant to spend some time, if you dont expect anything mind-blowing

Blueprints for the future home of Adobe Road Wines in Petaluma.

What a wonderful hidden gem located in the heart of downtown Petaluma, Adobe Road Wines is about to have a huge breakout thanks to their soon to break ground wine tasting room and production facility relocating to the riverfront area of downtown. Owned and created by professional race car driver and team owner, Kevin Buckler, featuring artisan wines from vineyards drawn from both Sonoma and Napa counties. What makes Adobe Wine stand out is that their bottles is that there is an apex in their bottles that resembles the curvature of a racing car, and the fact that their bottle labels are etched into the bottle, thus the use of paper labels obsolete. As of now, Adobe Road resides in a small indoor shopping center and we were mainly intrigued to sample the wines at Adobe thanks for the two for one tasting featured upon Yelp check-in. Although crowded on a Sunday afternoon, Lisa our tasting room associate happily accommodated us at their tasting room counter. When you do check-in, in order to get the deal, each person in your party has to buy the same tasting, whether it's the $20 Classic Tasting, $30 Reserve Tasting or the $45 Premium Tasting, once you order, everything has to match up. So we went with the middle tasting, the Reserve Tasting in which for $30 you could select three wines from their Reserve Wines list and 2 wines to taste from their Classic Wines list. We began with their 2016 Viognier from the Famighetti Vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley, which had a floral scent on the nose and was light and crisp to the taste. Our second pour was the 2014 Semillon, with grapes from the Bavarian Lion Vineyard in Knights Valley, they leave the grapes skins on a little extra linger to give the wine a rich amber color and flavor. We also decided to try one of their limited release racing series of wines called the 2016 Redline, which is Cabernet dominant with additional parts of Petit Syrah and Zinfandel. The wine was big and bold and Lisa suggested pairs well with a heavier meat. It was really extraordinary to be able to sample the wines from their special reserve in a traditional tasting. As for our other tastes, since our group went in on a two for one tasting we got the chance to sample what felt like an abundance of wines, thanks to the graciousness of Lisa. Of note, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford in the Napa Valley uniquely didn't have any tannins in the flavor of the wine, the 2016 Syrah although rather tart, came from Fedrick Ranch Vineyard and showcased the burgeoning wines being grown locally in the Petaluma Gap which just became a certified wine growing region. Lisa was nice enough to pour us a sample from their bottle of 2015 Syrah so we could compare and contrast the different years and how they tasted. Lisa was so awesome that she also gave us an extra pour from the special reserve Apex wine which was 50 percent Blue Dog Cabernet, they showed off winemaker Kevin Buckler's intense personality that he puts in his wines.

My adoring sidekick and I were invited to a private wine tasting and that experience poured straight into our memory like a perfectly decanted dream. Gary Brooks himself was there, the soft-spoken sorcerer behind Brooks Note Winery. His wines didn't whisper, they sang. Balanced. Elegant. Honest. The kind of Pinot that makes your boots buckle and your palate perk up like a hound on the trail. Somewhere between the third pour and the second "this is amazing," he told us we should stop by if we were ever in California. So, like any pair of polite Texans with a thirst for the finer things in life, we showed up. And let me tell you: the Brooks Note tasting room in Petaluma is a rustic-modern temple to the wine gods. The exposed beams, gleaming ductwork, and warm wood details make you want to cozy up and swirl your glass. It's the kind of place where your taste buds grow up and your Instagram feed gets a glow-up. We had reservations for a late afternoon tasting and were greeted by none other than Lucy, the softest, fluffiest winery pup in California. She strolled over like she owned the place, and honestly, I think she does. My adoring sidekick gave her the full greeting: head rub, affirming tone, instant friendship secured. Then came the Pinot Flight Tasting Menu, a five-part aria of California terroir: * 2022 Monroe Vineyard: Fruit-forward with a hint of the forest floor, like autumn bottled and ready to dance. * 2023 Russian River Valley: Silky as a tuxedoed lounge singer. Red fruit, spice, and grace. * 2022 Weir Vineyard: Earthy, old-soul depth. The kind of wine that feels like it remembers the first time someone planted vines in California. * 2023 Petaluma Gap: Cool, coastal, and fresh like ocean wind meeting orchard breeze. * 2022 Panther Ridge: Lush, structured, with a finish so long it could anchor a ballad. We were mid-way through the second glass when Gary appeared like a magician stepping onstage after the opening act. He welcomed us, remembered Fort Worth, and then proceeded to give us the full behind-the-scenes tour: the tasting room, the barrel room stacked high with rich oak dreams (no clue what kind of wood, but it smelled like wine-soaked heaven), and the metal vats where fermentation magic bubbles into being. It's one thing to drink a wine. It's another to see its origin story. We eventually made our way back to the table, finished our tasting, then slipped into that late afternoon golden glow. Before leaving, my wife said her goodbyes to Lucy with the kind of fondness usually reserved for lifelong friends or the last bite of a perfect dessert. We didn't take any bottles with us because we already had some back home in Texas. As we stepped outside into the California sun, I said, "Their wine bottles don't gather dust, they disappear gracefully after dinner." My wife rolled her eyes and muttered, "You're aging like wine, all right. Getting drier by the year." She's not wrong. Final thought? This is the kind of tasting that doesn't end when you leave the building. It lingers in your memory like a perfectly aged vintage. TL;DR: Petaluma charm meets Pinot perfection. Balanced, elegant wines served in a spacious, welcoming room. Lucy the wine pup deserves her own label. Gary Brooks delivers not only extraordinary wine, but an unforgettable experience. The only thing smoother than the Pinot is my wife's way of saying, "That's enough, dear." Brooks Note isn't a stop, it's a chapter worth savoring. Bonus Dad Joke: What did the grape say when it got stepped on? Nothing. It just let out a little wine... but probably not as gracefully as a Brooks Note Pinot.

California's wine country has made its presence known in the heart of California's cheese country!…read moreLocated in the heart of downtown Petaluma, the Montagne Russe tasting room is the newest tasting room in Petaluma taking over from where Black Knight Vineyards recently had a tasting room. Montagne Russe's full name is Montagne Russe Winery and Record Lounge, and it is exactly what it is, as it is part wine tasting room and part vinyl record store with hundreds of new and pre-used classic record albums for sale. What a perfect place to sip great wine while enjoying hit tracks from the past. Montagne Russe pours some of the nicest wines sourced from across Sonoma County, especially the nearby Petaluma Gap, making this newest tasting venue an ideal spot to soak in the atmosphere while supporting a local business. We've visited Montagne Russe before when their tasting room was at Bacchus Landing in Healdsburg, and while it was a beautiful space, it wasn't always busy. So it's no surprise they made the move to downtown Petaluma this past year. We'd been wanting to check out their new location since they opened over the summer, and finally got the chance during a recent weekend afternoon. With lively crowds outside, parking was harder to come by, as the recommended Keller Street Garage was completely full, but a short walk from the River Plaza parking lot did the trick. Even though we had reservations, we didn't end up needing them when we arrived, but the tasting room was full by the time we left. Winemaker and owner Kevin Bersofsky greeted us with a complimentary splash of their 2022 Sparkling Brut Rosé which had subtle hints of citrus throughout. From there, I enjoyed their Library tasting while my friend enjoyed their Signature tasting, both of which were offered at 35 dollars a person. For our second tasting, I enjoyed their 2019 Silver and Gold Chardonnay while my friend enjoyed their 2023 Roberts Road Chardonnay. My tasting of the Chardonnay tasted as it it was lower in alcohol, but higher in acid than my friend's Chardonnay, but both tasted wonderful. For our third pour, we enjoyed their signature Pinot Noirs, we me enjoying their vintage from 2019 and my friend sipped on their 2022 vintage, which were both sourced from Black Knight Vineyard, of which their wine tasting room they replaced in downtown Petaluma. For our fourth pour, I enjoyed their 2021 Terra De Promissio Pinot Noir, while my friend enjoyed their 2022 "Quatre Cinq Un" Pinot Noir, for both of these wines, the tannins were not too overpowering but you could definitely taste them. For our fifth and final pour, I enjoyed their 2018 Robert's Road Pinot Noir, which had hints of baking spices and cherries, while my friend enjoyed their 2021 Alder Springs Syrah, which was lush and silky smooth. For 70 dollars, not including gratuity, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon of wine tasting. When we made our reservation, there was a note about being able to bring in takeout from nearby restaurants, though it never came up once we began our tasting and honestly, we were too focused on the wines to think about food. As the afternoon went on, the crowd grew significantly, and at times it felt like we got a bit lost in the shuffle when it came to service. Still, we made the most of our visit and thoroughly enjoyed both the wines and the people-watching. With Montagne Russe still relatively new to the downtown Petaluma community, I can easily see them thriving here for a long time to come.

They served their sparkling brut Rose and plenty of Pinot Noir, all from Sonoma County, Sonoma Coastal, & Petaluma Gap appellation. One that stood out to us was the 2022 Dragons Back Pinot Noir. A classic tasty Pinot. They went all out and offered tasty bites that really enhanced their wines. They used to be in Healdsburg at Bacchus Landing a much larger location but not centrally located so moving to historical downtown Petaluma gives them an opportunity to attract a larger audience especially since their wines are sourced from the cooler Sonoma county region. What a fine job of remodeling the tasting room. I don't know how they did it but somehow the place seems wider and larger than the previous tasting room at this location. They opened the back with some large gathering tables and their vast selection of records is housed in the back as well. They added some small tables throughout the space. It's easy to maneuver. They also allow guests to bring food inside, so you can sip, sit, nosh & listen to some tunes. There are plenty of eateries around so it's any easy stop. As I write this review I'm reminiscing how well their Sparkling Brut Rose and Dragons Back Pinot Noir went so well with a prosciutto sandwich they offered at their grand opening. A great match, and good representation of Sonoma Coast, Petaluma Gap wines.

Glad we had reservations. We had wine tasting along with food tasting. Everything was good and beautifully presented. Afterwards, we went into the gift shop and purchased lotions and the best ginger jam that paired well with Brie. The tastings were ample and a nice selection. It was pricey, but for a special occasion, worth it. The Ode body butter is the best I had to get another jar. It is really moisturizing and lasts a long time. I prefer the "verde" scent. They have lavender, and unscented too. very relaxing vibe.

My personal SWOT analysis is listed below: Strength: *Famous in California *It offers tours, tastings, workshops, and sells wines *Pioneering Olive Oil *Award-Winning Quality *Historical Significance *Sustainability & Organic Farming *A seat-down outdoor area with scenery for any occasion *Outlet shop in downtown Petaluma Weakness: *The place is in a remote area *The olive oil testing fee is pricey compared with other places we visited in Paso Robles California *Skin products are large and heavy for tourists to take on an airplane or carry on *The table turnover rate is lower than restaurants with food consumption *No restaurant or delicatessen available *They need to hire more staff to maintain the quality of their property Opportunities: *If customer satisfaction is high *If they have good marketing strategies *Not many competitors nearby *More demand *Skin product choices are variable Threats: *If people are not familiar with olive products, they may not like this place *Customers may occupy the tables for a long time during peak season or times *Other places or similar products may have better quality at a lower price with generous portions *An alternative option in the food industry, suppliers, and cosmetics companies Overall, it's a great place to hang out on any occasion with family or small groups. The outdoor area is beautiful and relaxing. Since it is an open space, it could be very hot in summer or cold in winter, or during the rainy season. Moreover, this ranch is also not very noticeable to international tourists. We found it because during the New Year's holiday, many places are closed. So we googled this place while we were staying at the Hampton Inn Petaluma. We are from San Luis Obispo, California. There are many olive oil farms nearby. We not only visited the farms but also tasted the olive oil at a little fee or sometimes even for free.
