Freaking love this place! So hard finding a place that has something to do for pregnant people . Took Husbie here for his bday ! It was such a beautiful day & the place was breathtaking. Love that you have a beautiful view overlooking nature and the pond . The service here was great ! Chris was super helpful & gave us the best service . He made our visit amazing & really enjoyed our conversations with him. We did the honey and cheese tasting $45. The cheeses were so good & the honey paired nicely with the Chevre & Brie. We also did the gelato & olive oil tasting $35 which is a must since it was super warm . They were paired with 3 olive oils . My favorite wasnthe Chai. We also did the non alcoholic tasting $22 which came with 2 Rose's & 2 shrubs of your choice . I wasn't a big fan of she shrubs since they tasted like Kombucha to me but i loved the Rose's . My absolute favorite . I will come back again since I really enjoyed our time here. Such a gem of a place.

LOVE visiting McEvoy Ranch when in wine country, it can even be a destination. This is almost a sanctuary for us that we share with friends and family after my cousin stumbled upon it and we went to explore one afternoon. We visit Petaluma often and always make a point to make a trip out to the ranch to pick up some great olive oil and enjoy an afternoon away from the rush of the real world. It is extremely gorgeous and peaceful here, the food is always impeccable, the tastings are unique and the service is wonderful. Must book a reservation for any tasting or lunch (48 hours in advance) unless you are just doing a quick boutique stop for some olive oil, incredible choices for cheese, Salumi, tapenades, skincare or wine. I have been such a fan of McEvoy Ranch since they had a storefront at The Ferry Building in SF. Love all their EVOO, the wine stop pourers, and their Verde line of moisturizers is divine.

Huge olive farm with beautiful outdoor seating - serving food, wine and olive oil pairings. We had the gelato with olive oil pairing on a warm autumn day - perfection! And yes, we had wine also

Service went well! Beautiful place to visit! Bought some wine and oil. Unfortunately went on a Tuesday and they were closed for a tasting. Fortunately they attended us at their store even though, due to an appointment they had. Got to walk around a bit. Lovely place. Will return for a tasting and tour.

We went here for our team building and i love everything about it! First the ranch is just so breezy, breathtaking and beautiful! We did breath work in a very beautiful pagoda! The details of the architecture was so thorough and well thought out! There is a giant garden that houses about 5,000 flowers! There is another room with Elton John's red piano signed by him! After our breath work, we felt restored and refreshed and we had our olive oil tasting and wine tasting! The olive oil selection were all amazing! I love the citrus infused one! We had sparkling rose and pinot noir and both are very good! We also went to the shop to buy something for home and I got the olive oil lotion. Its smooth and creamy on the hands! The staff assigned to us is amazing! She is very helpful and accommodating! Cant wait to go back with my girls and try their long dinner service at night!

Beautiful pastoral location!!!! It feels like a different world than city life. We came during January, which is a slower time of year, and so we didn't need a reservation nor was it busy. The wine is wonderful, but the olive is the BEST anywhere. The customer service was relaxed and friendly. The gift store has my favorite ODE products I order online. The face oil is the best on the market.

This olive oil ranch is worth going to located right outside of Petaluma it has history, art , gardens architectural beauty and wonderful olive oil and wines. My friend was celebrating her birthday . She has discriminating taste and took us to this beautiful place. We had a great tour guide she knew a lot about art, history , wine, olive oil and about some of the plants. It had a great outside area that you could taste olive oil and wine. It is a worthwhile stop if you're in the area.

What a find! I was recommended to come here by a friend and was blown away! It's a bit of a drive out of Petaluma but gorgeous drive. All outdoor seating with fire pits and adirondack chairs that made it relaxing, with stunning views of the pond and surrounding hills. We ordered the valentines special tasting menu and loved the small bowls of multiple bites - the pot de creme was the best! We also did a wine tasting and enjoyed their reds, as well as the rose they greeted us with. And I loved the shop inside where you pay! Wine, bath products, specialty food items, Id come back just for the shop! I've told many people about this place already and I can't wait to come back.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful tour and olive oil tasting at McEvoy's this week. Our tour guide was very engaging and we learned about the incredible life that Nan, the ranch's founder, had. The property is beautiful and the product is fantastic. The service for the tasting was impeccable. We enjoyed every part of it. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely lunch with an incredible view at McEvoy Ranch today. We tasted a flight of olive oils and wines with our delicious entrees. Our server, JoJo, was fantastic. She explained the history of the property and where all of the locally sourced ingredients came from. What a special day! Reserve in advanced for an exceptional experience.

We came and did the olive oil tasting and had such a great time. What a hidden gem! Views, staff, and olive oil was all amazing. Dog friendly outside and the shop has so many great products/gifts. Can't wait to come back!

    Lavender, dahlias and food!

What a fantastic experience. Whoever thought of pairing olive oils and gelato is a flat out genius. Always good to try new things, especially in such a beautifully serene place. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

    What a spread!

The location is beautiful! So picturesque. Mike gave us a fantastic tour-- so much interesting history behind the family owners, so many interesting elements including how olive oil is harvested and manufactured--not your average tour. Emily was a super star -- was welcoming and accommodating to our group like no other location in wine country. Winery tours are a dime a dozen. This tour, in contrast, plus wine plus olive oil tasting was a great combination--truly unique.

My adoring sidekick and I were invited to a private wine tasting and that experience poured straight into our memory like a perfectly decanted dream. Gary Brooks himself was there, the soft-spoken sorcerer behind Brooks Note Winery. His wines didn't whisper, they sang. Balanced. Elegant. Honest. The kind of Pinot that makes your boots buckle and your palate perk up like a hound on the trail. Somewhere between the third pour and the second "this is amazing," he told us we should stop by if we were ever in California. So, like any pair of polite Texans with a thirst for the finer things in life, we showed up. And let me tell you: the Brooks Note tasting room in Petaluma is a rustic-modern temple to the wine gods. The exposed beams, gleaming ductwork, and warm wood details make you want to cozy up and swirl your glass. It's the kind of place where your taste buds grow up and your Instagram feed gets a glow-up. We had reservations for a late afternoon tasting and were greeted by none other than Lucy, the softest, fluffiest winery pup in California. She strolled over like she owned the place, and honestly, I think she does. My adoring sidekick gave her the full greeting: head rub, affirming tone, instant friendship secured. Then came the Pinot Flight Tasting Menu, a five-part aria of California terroir: * 2022 Monroe Vineyard: Fruit-forward with a hint of the forest floor, like autumn bottled and ready to dance. * 2023 Russian River Valley: Silky as a tuxedoed lounge singer. Red fruit, spice, and grace. * 2022 Weir Vineyard: Earthy, old-soul depth. The kind of wine that feels like it remembers the first time someone planted vines in California. * 2023 Petaluma Gap: Cool, coastal, and fresh like ocean wind meeting orchard breeze. * 2022 Panther Ridge: Lush, structured, with a finish so long it could anchor a ballad. We were mid-way through the second glass when Gary appeared like a magician stepping onstage after the opening act. He welcomed us, remembered Fort Worth, and then proceeded to give us the full behind-the-scenes tour: the tasting room, the barrel room stacked high with rich oak dreams (no clue what kind of wood, but it smelled like wine-soaked heaven), and the metal vats where fermentation magic bubbles into being. It's one thing to drink a wine. It's another to see its origin story. We eventually made our way back to the table, finished our tasting, then slipped into that late afternoon golden glow. Before leaving, my wife said her goodbyes to Lucy with the kind of fondness usually reserved for lifelong friends or the last bite of a perfect dessert. We didn't take any bottles with us because we already had some back home in Texas. As we stepped outside into the California sun, I said, "Their wine bottles don't gather dust, they disappear gracefully after dinner." My wife rolled her eyes and muttered, "You're aging like wine, all right. Getting drier by the year." She's not wrong. Final thought? This is the kind of tasting that doesn't end when you leave the building. It lingers in your memory like a perfectly aged vintage. TL;DR: Petaluma charm meets Pinot perfection. Balanced, elegant wines served in a spacious, welcoming room. Lucy the wine pup deserves her own label. Gary Brooks delivers not only extraordinary wine, but an unforgettable experience. The only thing smoother than the Pinot is my wife's way of saying, "That's enough, dear." Brooks Note isn't a stop, it's a chapter worth savoring. Bonus Dad Joke: What did the grape say when it got stepped on? Nothing. It just let out a little wine... but probably not as gracefully as a Brooks Note Pinot.
