I was in the area and wanted something quick to grab for dinner and I saw Nick the Greek. Located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking, this location has a huge dining area! The service was great and quick. I wanted something small and got a falafel gyro. The ingredients and vegetables tasted so fresh! There's plenty of seating inside and outside and I got my food quickly and devoured it. One thing I also love at Nick the Greek is their fro yo and adding baklava! Some locations I ask for the baklava at the bottom and put the chocolate coating on top. Soo good!

We've been to 2 other Nick the Greek Locations, and this one is the best! Fresh, amazing food, excellent service, clean restaurant. Food came quickly, and prepared perfectly. Got the froyo dessert... yum! Highly recommend!

Baklava

I ordered (via DoorDash) the lamb & beef gyro. I've been craving a good gyro (fries on side, plus cucumber) for a while and this one definitely hit the spot! They did forget the extra sauce but it's fine. I also ordered the baklava and it was good. Way too much cinnamon for my liking, but still good. Maybe an off batch? I will definitely be ordering the gyro again and the baklava if they reduce the cinnamon. Everything was well packaged and fresh.

Really great food and really great service. Modern ambience. Fastfoodish Greek food- where has this been all my life? The pita bread is delicious; definitely recommend adding that as a side if you get a bowl. The chicken bowl is awesome and huge. The veggie pita is heavy on the mushrooms but really good if you're into that. Great customer service. Definitely recommend this place.

Delicious food, my bread was a little overcooked this time but still delicious! Beefteki just hits the spot! I wish I could order plain beef gyro meet or steak like a side. The rice is so filling and fresh tasting. Nicks fries are the bomb!!! Def getting them again!

This turned out to be a Nick The Greek Party for their grand opening in Petaluma. Free Lunch at this location from 11a until 2:30p! Scott & Angie worked the crowd by offering Nick The Greek vanilla ice cream as a treat for everyone, as we waited to order. The manager Francisco at The Coddingtown Mall told me about this special event and invited me to come. I decided to have my lunch packed to go but ate outside under the umbrellas. If I tell you I felt like I rolled to the car instead of walked. I was as happy as a fat cat. I enjoyed everything Nick The Greek. Thank You...

Fast service by a nice crew working at Nick the Greek! The new spot is clean and spacious for an easy and tasty meal. I've only tried the beef/lamb gyro but would happily go back for another or to try anything else on the menu.

Hello, friend

To the hangry guy that stole the entire tip jar tonight because your food was taking too long during the dinner rush: Karma will get you for that you little bish. I hope you slip on a banana and break your kneecaps. The beef/lamb gyro was stupid good. So flavorful, piled high with tender meat off the spit, beautifully executed sliced tomato and red onion, and I got extra tatziki on the side because I'm a sauce fiend. Don't skip the Nick fries! BACK SOON MY FRIENDS.

Very friendly staff but the food is not that good. The price's are a little much for plain bland food. I'd rather go somewhere else.

After seeing the menu, my number one choice was the beef Wellington, second choice would have been the Bijou Burger. My SO wanted the Oxtail, but was thinking of an appetizer that would be just right. so the Trout Dip was chosen. This was a half processed fish and half avacado packed into a bowl. Scooping both halves was the best of both worlds. The dip was smooth and great flavors, I would get this again. Then when the entrees came out, and we started eating, half way throught both items were quite heavy and we started to feeling full. The beef Wellington was cooked to a medium consistency, the crust as still firm and mushroom filing great. The oxtail was so tender, it falls off the bone. A different flavoring but fantastic. We ended up taking the oxtail home as it would be diffcult to reheat beef Wellington. No room for dessert. It felt like mostly repeat locals dining here as they chatted with the wait staff a lot, but feel this deserve the hour drive to get here. Parking is avalaible street parking but there is a multi level parking garage near by. After that big meal, we walked around downtown and there was moderate activing and late night dining still going on. I will have to check out other near by areas in the future

The atmosphere is calm, inviting, and thoughtfully arranged, with well-spaced tables and a comfortable bar area that makes it an ideal spot for happy hour cocktail--something I especially appreciated since they honor happy hour at the tables as well. Bijou is led by Co-Chefs and Co-Owners Stéphane Saint Louis and Steven Vargas, who have created a truly memorable, approachable French-inspired dining experience. Chef Vargas was present during our visit and took the time to speak with us, which always elevates an evening. He and the entire Bijou team are personable, genuine, and down to earth--you can feel the care they bring to both the food and the hospitality. The menu and décor are understated, but don't mistake that for simplicity. Every dish we had was thoughtfully composed, beautifully plated, and perfectly executed. Flavors were balanced, seasonal, and never overworked--nothing was over-sauced or overthought. Each plate stood confidently on its own, and everything arrived at the proper temperature, which speaks to the kitchen's attention to detail. Our female server was knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations that enhanced the experience. A special shoutout to Dan who clearly takes pride in ensuring guests enjoy their time. His knowledge of spirits and willingness to share his favorites added an extra personal touch. I've seen some comments about pricing, but I found it to be very reasonable given the quality of the food, Crafted Cocktails, service, and overall experience--especially for this level of execution in the Bay Area. I'll let the photos speak for themselves, but Bijou left a lasting impression. It's a place that proves you don't need an elaborate menu or flashy décor to deliver something truly special--just passion, balance, and genuine hospitality. Give the Bijou a visit, be present and enjoy what Chef Vargas and his team have to offer. Bravo Chef Vargas and Bijou Family well done and see you soon. Special note if you are a Chartreuse fan you definitely want to visit Bijou as they have a respectable selection which is rare to find.
