My first time here and I'm in love with this place . The food is delicious and great customer service is worth every dollar spent here !

I placed a pickup lunch order on a Friday. The order was ready pretty quickly and pickup was seamless! The employees were kind and the inside looked pretty clean. I wasn't expecting this to be very authentic, but the food quality could be improved. The falafel was pretty dry. The bowl thankfully comes with some sauces that help with this, but they still tasted dry. The quality of the vegetables wasn't great either. The lettuce was unpleasantly wilted. Thankfully, the cucumber and tomatoes were okay. I did like the yellow rice that came with the bowl! I'm not sure that I would get the falafel bowl again but would be open to trying a different menu item! read more

I was in the area and wanted something quick to grab for dinner and I saw Nick the Greek. Located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking, this location has a huge dining area! The service was great and quick. I wanted something small and got a falafel gyro. The ingredients and vegetables tasted so fresh! There's plenty of seating inside and outside and I got my food quickly and devoured it. One thing I also love at Nick the Greek is their fro yo and adding baklava! Some locations I ask for the baklava at the bottom and put the chocolate coating on top. Soo good! read more

Fries were overpriced, undercooked, unsalted, and oily. WORST FRIES I'VE EVER HAD! EVER! What the heck! I paid almost $7 for a "handful" (and that's a generous description of the amount) of undercooked, non-salted fries that tasted only like used fried oil. Disgusting. What gives? I got them to go, so I had no idea till I was on the freeway and had no way to complain. I picked them up on the way to the airport to pick up my daughter. I ate every single one of them because I was so frustrated and paid so much for such a small amount. It was torture with every bite. I'm so bummed. So gross. I've had the gyros, the wraps, the sides, all good, but today I ordered the Mediterranean salad and was blown away. Less than $17 including tax. On a one and a half inch bed of the best yellow rice I have ever had, you get chopped kale, choice of meat, cherry tomats, pickled onions, crunchy chick peas, and a dollop each of yogurt and hummus. One bite was better than the last, I could not believe I got this amazing meal at a 'fast food' joint, and it WAS fast. Oh and the portions, If you'd get a couple flat breads you would have easily enough for two! The server was so helpful, faced with a choice of 7 or 8 meats, I asked her to pick, she picked pork, and yowza it was good! A little on the salty side but everything else was perf seasoned and the yogurt cools your taste buds just right. I will go back every time I am in Petaluma. read more

I ordered (via DoorDash) the lamb & beef gyro. I've been craving a good gyro (fries on side, plus cucumber) for a while and this one definitely hit the spot! They did forget the extra sauce but it's fine. I also ordered the baklava and it was good. Way too much cinnamon for my liking, but still good. Maybe an off batch? I will definitely be ordering the gyro again and the baklava if they reduce the cinnamon. Everything was well packaged and fresh. read more

Really great food and really great service. Modern ambience. Fastfoodish Greek food- where has this been all my life? The pita bread is delicious; definitely recommend adding that as a side if you get a bowl. The chicken bowl is awesome and huge. Scott & Angie worked the crowd by offering Nick The Greek vanilla ice cream as a treat for everyone, as we waited to order. The manager Francisco at The Coddingtown Mall told me about this special event and invited me to come. I decided to have my lunch packed to go but ate outside under the umbrellas. Very friendly staff but the food is not that good. The price's are a little much for plain bland food. I'd rather go somewhere else.

I would leave no stars if I could. I have been here a couple of times for a to go order. Each time they forgot the extra the sauce that we payed for. I let that go, and did not complain or write a review. However, this time they forgot one of our meals and the extra sauces. When I called to let them know that they forgot our meal and we were coming back to get it, they were not apologetic and did not offer anything in return for the inconvenience. When ordering from their site they only offer the option to give no tip or 15 percent to 25 percent. I payed them a 15 percent tip on a to go order for an incomplete order, and the inconvenience of having to go back to get the rest of my order. read more

WARNING: food poisoning! I paid $24 for lunch of a chicken souvlaki plate and side salad. The fries and the pita were very dry, not fresh. The lettuce in the salad was mildly brown. Im not squeamish, I thought, so I ate the mediocre food without second thought. Immediately after, as Im walking out of the restaurant, the tummy grumbles started. I rushed home and had to spend the rest of the day in the restroom, having to cancel the rest of my appointments and clients for the day. Wow! Nick the Greek, once again, knocked it out of the park for their customers. I am an Activity Director at a nearby senior living home and I brought 10+ Seniors to lunch recently. And boy did the owner, managers and staff accommodate! They welcomed us, they split some entrees in half per my request - (the portions are enormous- and enormously tasty!) When I asked for the fries (in the sandwiches on the side) they threw in a couple buckets of fries for our residents! They kept checking on us - AND - gave us each a sample of their frozen Greek yogurt (I absolutely CRAVE this tangy, sweet froyo) and we each were able to taste their delicious beignet like donuts. I like this location. Friendly staff and food is ok! They followed instructions! The reason for the low rating. I ordered a gyros pita. According to their menu pita gyros has red onions and fries. No red onions or any onions and no fries! They substituted with lettuce without even telling me. I'm allergic to lettuce! I don't get why this location and Santa Rosa are so terrible? I get it in Marin all the time and it fresh ,hot and nice portions . These two locations must be the same cheap owner trying to ration the portions. Good way to loose customers at your locations I guess it's my fault for patronizing these locations.. I had the best burger in a long time with very fresh ingredients. This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprise!

The service was good, and the food was ready pretty quickly even though they were busy. The souvlaki gyro was "okay" (my wife's review). My falafal gyro was pretty good. The avgolemono soup was awful. No noticeable orzo (or rice or whatever), no lemon flavor AT ALL, just some unseasoned chicken floating in a slightly pasty goop. This is a pretty big chain now - not sure how they borked the soup so badly. Maybe it's a startup problem for this location? read more

I'm not a fast food nor a chain restaurant customer since the 90's. Nick the Greek had a booth at a festival and the food was deelish! (I didn't realize it was a chain restaurant) I happened to see it when shopping in Petaluma and gave it a whirl. Again....Deeeeelish. The greek salad was excellent and the Lamb Gyro was wonderful not salty nor oily. I've been a few times and enjoyed it each time. The lamb/beef gyro is tasty; I like that they put French fries in it, it's a good addition to a gyro. They also have some dessert stuff; the baklava was really good. There is a ton of space so you don't feel crowded while you're eating, and there is some pop type music playing so it's not just quiet. First I tried to order online, but when that failed (3 times!) I ordered in store. Pleasant counter service. The wait was 30 minutes for our order - that's too long for this type of restaurant. The pita were not good, dry and crumbly - my gyro fell apart as I ate it, the pita with the hummus was dry and crispy - kinda like they were trying to hide stale pita. The hummus was on the sour side from too much lemon juice. This was our second visit, the first time it was mostly cold food after a 40 minute wait. We won't be going back. read more

Excellent Customer service! I have eaten here a number of times and have been happy with the quality of the food and the value for the money. The gyros and falafel are good, and I like the salads. The staff are responsive and friendly. When we went in last week, I asked them to check the carbonation for the soda machine, which seemed flat. Within minutes a man (who turned out to be the owner) came out and checked each of the dispensers. He had bottled soda delivered to us while he tinkered with the carbonation. Then he sent us free dessert! I was impressed that he was so responsive to his customers. That means a lot to me, and I will keep coming back. Glad to have Nick's in the neighborhood! read more
