    Detroit pepperoni pizza
    Karalina H.

It was our first time here, and we came as a group of four. The first thing we noticed almost immediately was how hot it was inside, despite there being three air conditioners in the room. None of them were on, even though it was 78 degrees outside. Weird... The pizza was mediocre at best. We ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza (pretty simple). Apparently, adding mushrooms cost an extra 3$. Our friends got the Detroit pepperoni pizza, which was also just ok. Both pizzas lacked flavor. I would say the prices don't match the quality. The service was ok, nothing outstanding. We could barely even notice any af the workers since they were quiet and not very friendly/talkative. The only good thing was the drink from Parliament Brewery. I don't think we will be back.

    Email confirming we'd be refunded

PRO TIP: BE SURE TO ASK THEM TO HOLD THE HAIR WHEN ORDERING SO IT DOESN'T END UP IN YOUR FOOD!!!!! My salad had a disgusting long hair in it (see pic). Ended up throwing all the food away after losing my appetite to the extra "garnish" discovered in my food. Emailed Acre to inform them of the experience. Courtney the "Admin Director" apologized and said she'd refund us. After providing her our order details and the card # twice she stopped responding and never refunded us like she said she would! Shit food and even worse customer service to make up for it!

Love stopping here on my way to visit my parents. You basically get two slices for the price of one. Plain cheese is perfect thin NY style. Some of the best ranch dressing I've ever had. The Roman style is a real treat--I love the crust!!! The mushroom w blue cheese is unbelievable. Best pizza in the area, don't bother w Physic Pie--this is just as good and much better bang for the buck.

    Broccolini pizza. Made it vegan.

First time at the Cotati location. Parking lot made it do easy to pick up an order togo. Pizza is good. Nice chewy texture of dough. Good quality ingredients. My only complaint is that it is really expensive. $48.00 for a vegan pizza for take out.

Very flavorful! Make sure to order the hot honey with it! It's very cute with outside patio to enjoy. They have a pool table to play as well.

This is false advertising. Acre no longer has the Román style of pizza. Sad!

First coffee and then the Roman pizza, Acre has a habit of giving us something great and then taking it from us. I will not be lured here as regularly as I was before. The Roman pizza just hits differently.

Super friendly staff, the high lite for me was the cheesy bread pizzia appetizer!!!loaded with cheese, I tried a couple of the fancy square slices, mushroom and also pepperoni with hot honey, they were both tasty!I also got a large pepperoni round style, it was good but I wish I would have got the square instead!!!over all nice place good food and decent prices

What I ordered: -Detroit Style Ranch [4.5/5] -NY Half Meat Lover/Half Spicy Sausage [3/5] _ I visited Acre Pizza on Sunday afternoon for lunch and opted for takeout. Since I didn't go inside, I can't comment on the ambiance. I'd heard that orders can take up to 30 minutes, so we called ahead to place our order. The worker who took our call was exceptionally kind and patient. We ordered a New York-style pizza, half meat lovers and half spicy sausage which were good. The standout, however, was the Detroit-style ranch pizza. It was my first time trying Detroit-style pizza, and it exceeded my expectations. The crust was nearly as thick as focaccia bread, and the toppings were incredibly flavorful.

My neighbor & I were anxious to try Acre Pizza as it is down the street from us and we love the pizza at their Petaluma location. I really wanted to give a fabulous review, but unfortunately my first visit wasn't a wow experience. The service was meh- not welcoming by any means. The prices are a tad high, but what isn't these days? The total for a pizza (that feeds 2-3 people) and the salad came to $48. The salad we had was really tasty with lots of goodies in it. Sadly, the pizza lacked flavor. It looked great and I liked the crust, but was quite bland- even after adding Parmesan & pepper flakes. My friend and I both agreed that likely there was not much cheese on it. I would like to give this restaurant another chance as it is local. Fingers crossed will have a better experience.

I know I am late to the party but wow, Acre puzza, is really really good. The 72 hour fermented dough (I asked ) is delicious and so darn flavorful. Chewy and crisp...even Dave Portnoy would approve of the no flop undercarriage. The cheese was a very unique and tasty blend. Tomato sauce was spicy and lightly applied...as it should be. I had the NY pepperoni and my wife the mushroom. I've had the Detroit and it's also tasty. Lots of specials . Service is great and they have solid selection of beer. Wine was meh. Salads looked good as well. Great service and value. Very clever and not overly bedazzled inside.

    Meatballs with volcano bread
    Ashley M.

Pizza is very good and different since I got the Detroit pizza. Best deep dish type of pizza I have ever had. The pizza was airy but thick and the sauce was amazing. We also got the meatballs and it was great, but when ordering online it said it would be ready by 7pm, though we ended up getting a text message that it was ready at 6:30pm, so we ended up not getting there fast enough and the meatballs were not warm. The pizza was warm, but not the meatballs. Then when ordering the meatballs it comes with volcano bread and for some reason the bread was very hard to chew. I give 5 star still though because this is a pizza place and the pizza was amazingggg! Service was okay as they were busy and it seemed as if only one person was helping pick up orders and taking people on register, therefore we waited a few minutes to get our food. The actually restaurant was cute and had a great patio area with cornhole! Food is expensive, but worth it. For meatballs and pizza it ended up being around 42 dollars. I would definitely come here with friends or family and hang out at the restaurant.

The parking is a breeze since it's a stand alone building in a big lot with other large stores. Lucked out with grabbing two seats at the bar just as folks were leaving, and sidled on up! The bartender was very attentive, had a great sense of timing for when to fire the food, and kept an eagle eye on our drinks for refills/refreshes. Prosecco ($10), draft Lagunitas IPA ($7) & a delicious Baldacci Cab ($16) worth every penny. The vibe is casual and cozy, and very family friendly. The portions are VERY generous! We split the spinach salad ($7.50) - everything was well balanced and the candied pecans were perfect! Next had the pesto pizza bites ($11) which was a lot of food. More like an actual pizza and super delicious. Entrees were beef ravioli with meat sauce ($21), and build your own pasta ($19) with 3 meatballs (+$7), creamy marinara, and fettuccini. We walked out with ample leftovers which will serve for another meal. Prices were worth the generosity, and the staff were great. Huge kudos to the whole team and can't wait to go back!

Carly, our excellent server, was prompt, friendly and as knowledgeable as she could be for a new employee to the establishment. My guess? Art probably established an excellent real Italian restaurant with authentic recipes and hopefully homemade pasta. He has since passed away, and I am sorry to say, whatever authenticity went with him. The vibe is a bar pizza joint, and I hope they serve a good pizza pie. The linguine and clams (I asked if it was a garlic sauce) was loaded with clams. That is where the dish ended. It had linguine noodles and a sauce made up of clam juice butter and lemon. I could not taste garlic, so she brought some raw garlic to toss in. The lasagna tasted like canned meat sauce poured over a bland dish of pasta. The chicken noodle soup had tasty chicken, but the overload of oregano was too much, we couldn't eat it and were not offered to have it removed from the bill. The Caesar salad was mayo heavy, could taste lemon and had sliced Parmesan on top. Tiramisu was not umptious either. For the cost of the meal, I will pass. We will try a pizza in the future, hopefully it is their saving grace. Oh, they should learn how to make pasta as well, instead of buying boxed pre made.

The Argentinian restaurant is located next to a Shell Gas station in a nice small plaza in Rohnert Park. Parking is accessible in the medium size parking lot. We were not able to go inside the restaurant as there was a sign in the front to ring the bell for someone to come to the door and take your order. It was different but the staff were friendly and helpful. Once you order, you wait in your car and they bring your food to you. There are a few tables for dine in on the patio. We ordered a creamy corn empanada, traditional beef empanada, plum & bacon empanada, al pastor empanada, and a bacon egg & cheese empanada. Everything was fresh, authentic, and delicious. My favorite empanadas were the traditional beef and al pastor. Along with the flavorful meat filling, I enjoyed the crispy flaky crust as well. The sauce and pica de gallo provided went well with the empanadas. The presentation of the empanadas in the box was appealing and delightful. I appreciated the little menu in the box to inform you what you ordered. The little flower was a nice touch. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Vinoma. It was nice to try some legit empanadas from an Argentinian restaurant. Price point was fair. Glad we were able to run into this gem in wine country. We hope to be back next time we are in the area.

Buffalo chicken - a bit saltier than the other empanadas, but it was still good. Spicy beef - juicy and tasty. Was more of a mild spice. Al pastor - good taste here as well. I prefer this over the buffalo as it also comes with salsa and aioli sauce. Spinach artichoke - my wife really liked this one. Very filled. Steak and cheese - really hot with melted cheese. Tasty with chimichurri sauce.

The variety and freshness of the greens really stood out. As a vegetarian, I initially hesitated when I saw what looked like bacon bits, but the owner kindly assured me they were seasoned breadcrumbs -- such a creative and delicious touch. I ordered the potato pizza, and my granddaughter chose the pepperoni. She devoured nearly the entire pizza in record time, so I think it's safe to say she gives it five stars! My potato pizza was the bomb -- bursting with flavor. The pickled peppers added the perfect tangy kick. Both pizzas had that wonderful thin, crispy crust that I absolutely love. The service was friendly and attentive. While the pizzas are on the smaller side and perhaps a bit higher in price, the fresh, quality ingredients make it worthwhile. I also appreciated seeing a Palestinian soda in the refrigerator case, with 50% of the proceeds going toward a Palestine support fund -- a thoughtful and meaningful touch. I'm especially looking forward to warm evenings when I can walk the half mile from my home and enjoy dinner on the patio. We'll definitely be back!

Met the owner, and chatted up the Sonoma County Pizza scene while going over their menu.. Personal size pizzas, just the right amount. But if you want leftovers, but two pies. We got three pies, the fungi, the sausage and the pepperoni which I had them drizzle hot honey on. Oh my goodness the flavors are amazing. All three pies were excellent and perfectly cooked. Of course when I first heard about this place, I was intrigued. It's called Psychic Pie for god's…read moresake. (FYI, I'm super woo :)) Then, my sister-in-law raved about it, declaring it the best pizza she's ever had. (Or something incredibly declarative like that.) We decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, Fugazi was playing in the shop. That was a good sign. When do you ever hear Fugazi playing at an establishment nowadays, the last time was probably in a record shop in the 90s. The pizzas are displayed, and you choose how much of each pizza you'd like and they will cut some off for you and it is priced by weight. Then, they heat it up for you to melt the cheese, and viola! Served with cloth napkins, pizza scissors, if desired when eating-in. (Truly the most brilliant way to cut pizza!) Immediately, I saw "OG Potato" and that was a must have. It was something like Potato, ricotta, chile oil, mozzarella, dill. (Just to cut to the chase on this one, it was incredible! I am obsessed with ricotta, and there was something about all the combination of flavors especially the dill that gave some freshness amongst the rich taste of everything else.) Others we got were the pepperoni, a 4 cheese, and a vegan one with no cheese, just tomato sauce, roasted garlic, olives (there may have been other stuff on it, but that's what I remember) Everything was incredible, even the vegan one. The tomato sauce was so high quality, and I was glad there wasn't any vegan cheese on it. Just veggie tastiness in its purest form. The sourdough crust was light and fluffy. It was all just so high quality, and you can feel the passion for their food. Oh yeah, I almost forgot a big star: the Kale Caesar. Don't sleep on that one. It's one of the best salads we've had in years. It was flavorful, with bits of sunflower seeds to give it crunch. Dressing was on-point with a mountain of fluffy parm on top. And so here's the thing with the current state of eating establishments. There is so much expensive mediocre food out there. Nowadays, you may pay $12 for a salad that's out of a bag with wilted ends and sorry baby carrots. And so, considering there's a place that's putting beautifully intentional food out there, I'd rather choose to go to the place that is high quality and cares about their food and sustainability. We topped off our experience with soft serve and a cookie. The soft serve was amazing. We got it 'eat-in' and it was high quality soft-serve in a whimsical cup and presidential spoons. (Love the sustainability angle, but also the whimsy) You can get it with olive oil and sea salt and other toppings, but I went pure. It was milky and homey, and just gooood. (My hubs wanted the cookie) Not to mention, service was genuine. There was a slow, no-rush vibe to this place that might piss some people off. But given its name, I feel like it's apt. It's Psychic Pie for god's sake, and the ethereal does not rush. In the ethereal, time doesn't exist!!! (lol) You can feel that every part of this establishment is in the vision of its owner, wanting the experience to be a part of their authenticity and values. And we need more of that in this world right now. (And I don't mean some skewed sense of 'authenticity' as in just saying whatever comes to mind and is 'in your face' that has infiltrated our society today) This is true authenticity I'm talking about - an expression of your own Light essence. (See, I told you I'm woo) Speaking of which, the music continued to be my jam at my time here... likely to be a Pixies radio mix, with awesome 90s punk / indie. Some songs I hadn't heard in decades but love. So, it was like entering into someone's establishment that's part of my soul tribe. So, if any of the above sound like your jam too... give it a try!

Then, you get to determine how big of a piece you want. They cut it to your liking (in Italy this is called Al Taglio)and then you pay for it by the weight. They always have several options. The other thing that makes the pizza here so special is their use of sourdough crust. I love the texture and flavor that the crust gives to every pizza here. The service is always really good and very helpful. Once you pick your pizzas they will heat up your slices and then dress it up with extra toppings such as herbs, grated cheeses, oils, etc. One of the owners is typically working and they are such lovely people. On this particular visit, my wife and I ordered five different pizzas to try. One of my favorites is the OG Potato, which is covered in thin sliced, crispy potato, ricotta, mozzarella, creme fraiche, dill and chives. It is so rich and creamy. My new favorite is a pizza with blue cheese, walnuts, and caramelized onions that knocked my socks off. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of that one. There was another new one to me which was the Hot coppa Striacatella. I don't know if I've ever seen charred chicory on a pizza before but it worked really well with the spicy coppa. I also tried the vegan slice which was really good and the Funguy, which is subtle but still tasty. I highly recommend you come try Psychic Pie if you've never been here. It is a Sebastopol must-do!
